Walking into the teachers lounge Shouta couldn't help but just fall onto the couch. He was absolutely exhausted. Between taking care of Izuku, his patrols, and now teaching he was exhausted. The man even purchased a sleeping bag so that way he could rest at work. Though he technically wasn't a full fledged teacher yet. Though he was currently okay with that.
In the last seven months his life had changed so much. Hisashi practically lived at his home now. Grown attached to the little wolf. Not that he could blame his eccentric boyfriend. Izuku was a great kid. He was always concerned about them. Constantly checking on them and even waiting at the door for Shouta to come home from patrol.
In time they had learned a lot more about him and his conditions even though he never went into any details. Izuku was strong. In fact he was super humanly strong. Even in his human form. To Shouta's surprise he'd say he is already stronger than the average adult. If he continued developing the way he is than he'd be stronger than him by his teenage years. Maybe sooner.
Izuku also has incredible senses. Often complaining that he and Hizashi didn't smell like him. Though he assumed that had to do more with the canine traits he tended to have. They'd both catch him touching or wanting to cuddle. Then there was his hearing. There was almost no sneaking up on him. If he wanted to find you than he would.
On top of that he was extremely smart for a now nine year old. Nedzu had done a test and he ranked extremely high for his age percentile. Apparently the villains had wanted him to bed educated. They current theory being that he'd go from being a guard dog to an attack dog. Though they hadn't taken into account his actual power with his quirk which they hadn't truly seen yet.
"Ah Aizawa I knew I'd find you here." Sitting up Shouta looked to see the rat himself. Smiling as he climbed up onto the couch, "I haven't seen Midoriya in some time. May I inquire on how he is transitioning."
Shouta could always tell with Nedzu if he had an ulterior motive, "He's fine. Why?" Nedzu's ears twitched and he smiled in delight, "You are very perceptive you know. I was wondering if I could take on his schooling."
Honestly the thought wasn't a bad idea. Izuku was smart and putting him into a school wasn't currently an option right now. The boy had to much trauma and hurt at the moment. He'd have to worry about him having a mental break down at the school. Or worse, having a PTSD episode in the middle of twenty other nine year old kids.
Crossing his arms he looked at the principal menacingly, "I'm not against the idea. However, I don't need him to have lessons in taking over the world." Nedzu chuckled at his employee, "No none of that of course. I just feel it would give him the chance to learn in a safe environment."
Shouta had to agree. Giving Izuku a one on one education would be good. Though he would have to help the boy socialize at some point, "I have to agree with you. He is going to need a fresh start." Leaning back Shouta thought about how much the boy had already grown. He doesn't speak a whole lot. Not yet anyway. Having him here in the school would be great for him. The older kids would probably be more excepting of such a powerful child as well.
"Although." Nedzu spoke, "We will need to register his quirk. I wonder if he'd have an idea of what he'd want to call himself."
He was sure his son had some idea of what he wanted. Hizashi had started living with the two of them. At first Shouta had been worried it be to much for the little wolf. Izuku loved the sound hero though. Constantly cuddling up to the man when he was home. Hizashi loved reading and got Izuku to start reading books to. After some searching they had found some book about werewolves which he fell in love with. So, Aizawa was sure he would name himself something similar to a werewolf.
"I'll bring him by tomorrow." Shouta stood up and started towards the door, "Thank you Nedzu for all of your support."
Nedzu smiled brightly, "Of course! I feel responsible for his well being as well. He is my nephew after all!"
Sitting at home Izuku was reading a book while watching the hero net. They were talking about a few new heroes and how villainy was on a sharp decline. The biggest decline since the rise of All Might. After he was rescued he assumed that he'd be captured not to long after. But he hadn't smelt anyone following him or his hero. If they did follow his heroes or hurt them he'd rip out their throats. He was a good wolf.
It had been months and he had learned that he loved Eraser and Mic. They were like parents. Real parents, but he was scared that the Master was still out there. Nobody was stronger than the Master. Even All Might wasn't as strong as him.
Every time he went fell asleep by himself he would remember the things the doctor and Master did to those experiments. The screams that filled his ears at night as he stood guard. The times he had to help the Master's favorite train. Decaying his fur and flesh, anytime he fought back seriously and hurt the other boy he got hurt by Master or chained in the cellar. Now though he was in a home. A place he didn't need to be a dog anymore. No he was a wolf and he'd protect whats his.
Continuing reading his book he smiled to himself. The werewolf in the book was fighting a powerful demon monster with the help of his girlfriend who was a powerful mage. He loved this book. It was the first book that Yamada had bought him. It was easily his favorite to. The werewolf or Lycan in the book was strong and fought so hard. In the end of the book though he died protecting his loved one.
Hearing footsteps coming to the apartment he sniffed the air. The smell of coffee, cats, and hair gel. Jumping up he shifted into his wolf form and ran to the door. Izuku couldn't stop his tail from wagging as the Aizawa walked through the door. Jumping up he put his front paws on Shouta's shoulder and pushing him over.
"Hey kid." He chuckled while scratching behind his ears. The gurgles and grunts coming from the wolf made him laugh, "I missed you to."
Izuku shifted back and helped the man up. The small boy was looking up with awe at Shouta. This was the man that saved him. Fought the Master's men for him and the other kids. While he was pulled the man to the living room so he could show him what he'd been working on he stopped. Images of children being cut open. Thrown into the arena against the monsters that they tried creating.
Everything around him faded away. Izuku was standing in the arena with them. His paws were standing in the warm sticky blood. The taste and smell of iron filled the air around him. He could feel the need to hunt and under his fur. The want to ignite his flames and burn all the monsters that surrounded him.
Before he knew it he was standing in the kitchen again. Aizawa was looking at him. Was he talking? He wasn't sure he couldn't hear anything. Izuku's hand was on the man's chest. Focusing on the adult's breathing helped him follow along. He could feel the cold sweat running down his cheek.
"Good job Izuku. Keep following my breathe." Izuku started crying, "I-I s-s-s-saw th-them." Izuku was pulled into the heroes chest as he shushed him. Unable to hold it anymore Izuku sobbed into the man's shirt. His whole being shivered at the fear of going back.
Aizawa held the wolf boy in his arms., "It's okay kid. Your safe and they aren't going to hurt you anymore." The two stayed that way for almost an hour till the door opened again. Hisashi was talking to himself until he saw his lover holding their baby boy.
"Oh Izu." The man said softly. Setting the groceries he brought home on the counter he sat on the floor with his boys. Izuku looked over at the sound hero before jumping into his arms, "Hey little listener."
Shouta smiled fondly at the man, "Another panic attack. They are getting more sparse but much more intense." Worry over the boy was felt between the two. Picking up the boy he placed him on the couch. Grabbing his wolf plushy he set the two down on the couch, "I'm going to get some dinner ready kay listener?"
Nodding the boy pulled it closely before shifting into his wolf form. The sheer size of the wolf took up the entire couch and then some. He was still growing and they weren't sure how big he'd end up getting but he is powerful. Putting his hand under the boy's snout rubbing his fingers back and forth. Izuku's ears lay flat and his eyes closed.
Shouta was leaning against the counter with Hizashi joined him in the kitchen, "How did the meeting with Nedzu go?"
"Good. He wants to teach Izuku himself." sighing he took a sip of his coffee, "I think it be good for him. As much as I worry, seeing the school and interacting with people would be a good thing for him."
Hizashi smiled, "Well I think it be great for the little wolf." Pulling out the ingredients for dinner the man continued, "He can't be cooked up here all the time. Plus it will help us to get him ready to meets children his own age."
Aizawa smiled happily at his boyfriend. This man he had come to love over their years as friends. They had been through so much together since Shouta had won his way through the sports festival so many years ago. Now they were essentially raising a child together. All that was left was actually adopting the boy.
It took a week. One week of little to no panic attacks to get Izuku to finally agree with leaving the apartment. Seeing he couldn't shift he was in Shouta's arms the entire way to UA. They had arrived before any of the students got to school so he wouldn't be overwhelmed with so many people.
Hopping down from his heroes arms he looked around the school in pure awe. They were in the place where two of his three heroes trained together. He was so excited to be here. Izuku was vibrating in excitement as he walked through the hallowed halls of some of the greatest heroes Japan ever produced. Including All Might.
Walking into the principal's office they were greeted by an excitable chimera, "Well hello Midoriya it's good to see you again."
Izuku seeing the small creature began vibrating, "I know your guardians told you that I'd like to begin teaching you." Izuku nodded his head excitedly, "Well first lets start with a quick test. It will allow me to gauge your knowledge of most things."
Izuku buckled down and began taking the test. Shouta watched his boy carefully as he went from question to question. They knew that he was intelligent for his age. What ever they used him for wasn't just as a guard dog. Yes he could turn into a powerful fire breathing wolf and his physical feat were incredible. Izuku's intelligence was on a whole different level than children his own age.
No, Shouta was sure they were trying to train him in to be some sort of general. To lead what ever types of soldiers they chose to utilize. Between his skills, intelligence, and strength made sense at least. Though if he was suppose to be some kind of second in the organization then who would be leading him? What was his true purpose? These were questions he wanted answered but knows there was no way of getting.
"Your class should be starting soon Aizawa. I'll take care of Izuku till his lunch." Looking over at his boyfriend then back at their boss, "Fine. I'll be here to pick him up for lunch."
Watching Aizawa leave Nedzu happily turned his attention on the small boy sittting at his desk. He felt an odd sense of admiration for this child. Nedzu knew his IQ was already going to be higher than kids his own age. Izuku had managed to get into contact with him. Helped narrow his location and maintained secrecy under the guise of being a guard dog for children he had never met before. More impressively with who his master was. Something that his two soon to be dads didn't know and hopefully wouldn't ever have to find out.
Though their situations were different. This boy had been experimented on just the same as him. While for him it was to test the quirked intelligence on an animal. Combining different creatures to see if an animal could even hold a quirk the same way as a human. For Izuku it was to see if they could turn a quirkless boy into something different. A weapon or tool for whatever his master saw fit. The things this child had to have seen and been through must have been truly harrowing.
"Alright Midoriya. Let's get started shall we. You have three hours to complete the test." Izuku looked it over closely before nodding, "This is just a basic aptitude test. I was to assess your education level so we can set up a plan for you."
Nedzu looked over things for his upcoming year while Izuku went through his test. He was always trying to stay ahead year to year. He'd only been running UA two almost three years. It was why he was hiring all new teachers to take place here. Creating a place where his students would feel comfortable and still get the best education possible.
UA was a great institution of higher learning. It had bred the greatest hero Japan has ever known. Along with dozens of renowned heroes. Several becoming number one hero of Japan. However there were things lacking. For instance the school had a hard line against quirks it believed to be inferior. Villainous or weak quirks getting pushed off or denied before even being able to perform in the schools entrance exam.
Something that Aizawa always pushed. He had gotten in do to his foster father being an influential business owned here in Mustafu. Even that though only got him into the school. He then went to defeat each and every hero course student in the Final Event of the Sports Festival. No, he wanted to create a school that allowed you based off your potential no matter your quirk or maybe even your species.
"Mr. Nedzu. I'm done." Looking at the time he saw that it had already been two hours, "Very good Midoriya! I'll go over this." Nedzu grinned, "I want to see one more thing. You have a good sense of smell yes?"
Izuku gave a soft smile before nodding, "Oh good. Let's see if you can find Aizawa." His soft smile turned to a blinding grin as he jumped off his chair and pulled the massive door open. Nedzu chuckled at the boy.
Running through the halls Izuku sniffed the air. He could smell his hero. Even in his human form he had an amazing sense of smell. Students were shocked and confused at seeing the small boy running through the halls of the school. Though they saw weird stuff all the time, a small green boy was definitely at the top of the list.
Kicking the door to the gym he stopped to see that Eraser was leading a group of students. They were running an obstacle course. Izuku could tell they weren't very good yet. It kind of reminded him of the training he went through by the master. He made him run courses but this one looked like fun. While the Master's were painful.
Aizawa smiled into his scarf as another kid got knocked of the course. They were practicing their agility and speed. It was a slow go of it for a majority of them. Most being straight up punchers or rescue hero orientated. Feeling a hand grap his pant leg he looked down to see his little wolf.
Kneeling down he ruffled Izuku's hair, "What are you doing kiddo?" Izuku smiled before leaning in so only he could hear him, "I was sent to find you. Mr. Nedzu wanted to see my nose."
Aizawa couldn't help but chuckle. It was great to see his kid just being a kid. The boy had proven how formidable he was when they first met. He saw the carnage in the aftermath of his fights. Izuku hadn't killed any of his opponents but they were all severely injured. It was almost impossible to fathom that a child could fight so well.
Looking down at his kid he saw that Izuku was looking at the course with nothing but intrigue, "You want a go kid?" Izuku almost started hopping in excitement, "Clear the course."
Everyone stared at the man in confusion. The actual teacher was also curious about what he was doing, "Everyone. This is my…...son." Izuku seemed to perk at that comment while the teenagers looked at him in shock, "Go ahead kid. You can shift if you want. I brought spare clothes."
Izuku charged at the course. Shifting into a wolf he ran towards the start of the obstacle course. Running up the ramp he took a massive leap. Going from one platform to the other with ease. This wa s the first time Shouta had watched him truly move in his wolf form. Reaching the middle of the course he shifted back into his human form swinging from rope to rope.
Landing on the end Izuku started running to the final part of the test. Reaching the end he stopped in a massive arena. Four robots surrounded him. Shifting into a wolf the nine year old began growling at the robots as they approached him. Smoke was seeping from his snout.
The first robot moved to attack only to meet a torrent of flames. Izuku spewed them like a dragon before jumping to his side dodging the strike of another robot. Quickly Izuku reached out biting the head of the robot destroying it with a single crunch.
Running he jumped up landing on the third robot shooting a fire ball nearly point blank destroying it. Slowly he walked out of the flames teeth bared at the final robot. His fur was standing up as he waited for the robot to come to him. On it's singular wheel it moved, charging at Izuku. Shouta thought he was going to let it hit him until Izuku jumped towards it. With a single bite he took off it's head.
Everyone looked at the wolf in shock as it pranced to their student teacher. Sitting down Izuku's tail was wagging happily at the Eraser hero. The man fondly put his hand on the side of the massive canine's head which the boy tilted into.
Izuku stayed in his wolf form as the kids left. Many of them looking at him in fear. He heard a few comments about how he was scary. A few of the girls talked about how cute he was, "Okay problem child lets meet Hisashi at the rat's office."
Sitting in the office again Izuku couldn't help but smile as the chimera, "So I have great news!"
"Oh I love good news!" Mic stated with a beaming grin as he pulled the green boy close, "He seems to be just as smart as we believed. Izuku's knowledge of technology is on that of a first years. Along with hie science, math, and quirk knowledge."
"That's incredible. He is barely a preteen." Shouta looked at his soon to be son in wonder.
"I agree." Nedzu continued gleefully, "His biggest struggles being literature and modern history which we will get him there. Now, I do have concerns about socializing him."
"Yeah we were thinking about that actually. Nem was stating that she want's to go to the heroes galla in the coming months. Our friend Tensei Ida and his little brother should be there. Also other kids. It should be a good opportunity to get him around some kids his own age."
"Excellent! I'll make preperations for his schooling. In the meantime we are waiting but Detective Tsukauchi has already gotten everything ready for his adoption. If you need anything else please let me know."
Shouta and Hisashi both nodded before taking their kid home. Neither knew whether he'd want to be a hero being how young he was. Though they would help him become what ever he set his mind to. Grabbing his husband's hand as they walked out together. As a family.
