Hello again! This one is a bit longer than what I usually write, so keep that in mind. There's not much else to say here, I know the start is always the quiet part. So let's just head straight into prologue chapter 2!

Shadow and Bléu ran to a pick-up point where they were picked up by a helicopter. "Are you sure that thing is safe? Those blades look like a very easy hazard…" Bléu had never seen a helicopter before, since everything was run on Dust back on Remnant, mankind had no need to develop the helicopter

"Just get in." Shadow replies, hopping into the side of the copter and sits down. The blue and green haired Hedgehog scrambled in, and Shadow pounded the door behind him. The spinning blades lifted the craft upwards, carrying the two hedgehogs away across the water. Shadow's air shoe sparked yet again. He kicked it, causing it to sputter.

"Here… let me see." The silver-eyed hedgehog placed a hand on his air shoe, and she closed her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes again, this time, they were changed to light blue glowing orbs. She tightened her grip. "Whoa, whoever made your shoes is a genius!" The sputtering in his shoes stopped, Bléu turned it off completely.

"Yes, he was." Shadow was a bit surprised by the teenager's sudden actions. But powers come in all shapes and sizes in this world, Bléu's semblance was going to fit in just fine here. "You control machinery?"

"Machines, guns, secret databases, anything with electricity running through it!" She smiled, blinking, her eyes changed back to their silver hue. "In my world, we call that a semblance. Everyone has their own special superpower, mine is technomancy." The blue haired girl had no idea where she was, but she had no choice but to trust this 'Shadow.' In a way, he reminded her of one of her friends. Must be the moody dark demeanor… and really liking the color black. A few minutes passed, and she frowned. It was bad enough getting through to Blake. "So-" Bléu was about to make some small talk, but Shadow stopped her. He pointed downward. They were no longer above water. They were now above a G.U.N. facility.

When the helicopter landed, both hedgehogs jumped off. "I guess I'll keep following you. I don't exactly have anywhere to go…" The Bléunette made herself a little sad by her own comment, causing her to stay silent for a while and just observe.

Shadow and Bléu walked through the building until they came to a large meeting room with plenty of computers and people working. They were greeted by a few saluting soldiers, an older general that reminded Bléu of Ironwood, and an anthropomorphic bat girl with… annoyingly large breasts. "Well that's just not fair." she mutters to herself as she glances down at her own flat chest.

"Commander." Shadow spoke first. "The mission was a failure… I couldn't find Omega." The dark hedgehog looked downwards. Regret was written all over him.

Bléu saw him like this and frowned slightly. Omega? Must be a fellow… Soldier? Agent? The vibe felt different from what she knew back home, Omega must have been someone Shadow knew personally. Did she get in the way of his mission? Having grown up in a militaristic environment, she knew to keep quiet until she was relevant.

The Commander nodded, his face showed trace signs of sympathy for Shadow. Something that Bléu never saw in General Ironwood. "Very well, we'll just have to assume that he made it out safely. He was in possession of a Chaos Emerald when he went dark. It's very unlikely that he was destroyed completely."

Chaos Emerald? The younger hedgehog tilted her head in slight confusion. Emeralds are gems, so it could have some similarities to Dust. Chaos implies a sense of unpredictability, yet everyone seems calm about this development despite the unknown status of their teammate. They must be either really confident in Omega, or the Chaos Emerald, possibly both.

"And who's this little lady?" Rouge the Bat smirked when she saw Bléu's wandering eyes. The young hedgehog seemed distracted, and the jewel thief spotted a GORGEOUS red gem sticking out of her ruined oversized jacket. "Oh you poor thing!" She lifted Bléu's hoodie and deftly swiped a red crystal from it. Upon getting closer, she saw plenty more jewels on her, peculiar considering her state of dress. "Who is this, Shadow? She looks like the spitting image of Big Blue himself."

"H-huh?" Bléu blushed as she was fawned over by the… mature? Bat? As a young lesbian human teenager, the blue and green haired hedgehog was having a VERY confusing lady boner in an unfamiliar body. "Uhm… Hello… I'm Bléu Greann." Bléu instinctively went to grab a lock of her hair, only to remember that her hair was replaced with a set of quills and a mangled mess of disheveled hair. "How do you guys do anything with these massive hands?"

"I'm convinced she's not even from this world. She claims that she's human."

The Commander and Rouge both had a sweat drop at the explanation. It wasn't the most outlandish thing to happen considering what this world has gone through, but it was still odd. "Well, I guess I'll take her to get freshened up. She keeps pulling her clothes up, and it's making my head hurt." She grabs the blue and green hedgehog by the hand and drags her away. "We won't be long, just an hour!"

"Wh-what?" Bléu had no say in the matter as she was forcefully taken by the bat girl, leaving Shadow and the Commander behind. The two girls made their way to a nearby mall.

"Alright, first things first, we should take off that torn up pile of rags and find you something cuter!" Rouge partially wanted to nab a few more of those colorful gems that she spotted earlier, but the young hedgehog grabbed her hoodie and held it close.

"Please… uhm… I want to keep this hoodie… it was my dad's…"

Rouge was a little disappointed at getting robbed of her gems, but she shrugged and relented. "Fair enough. Just… pick an outfit out, and I'll buy it for you…" This was getting awkward, fast.

"SONIC!" A higher pitched voice squealed behind them, and Bléu was suddenly getting squeezed by an unknown person from behind. The blue and green hedgehog gasped, but felt that she wasn't in any immediate danger.

Despite that, Bléu was still startled. "H-huh? What?" She squirmed out of the girl's warm hug.

They turned around to see a bright pink girl in a red dress. She was clearly younger than Rouge, but probably a little older than Bléu. "Oh… You're not Sonic! My bad!"

"The fangirl is growing up! I'm surprised she didn't tackle you to the floor!" Rouge recognized the new girl and laughed. "Bléu, meet Amy Rose."

"Hey! I do not tackle people unless they deserve it!" Amy shot back, frowning at the jewel thief. "It looks like you already robbed this poor girl blind! So you shouldn't be talking."

Rouge's eyes narrowed, not willing to admit that she did, in fact, already swipe a crystal from the otherworldly girl. "You can't prove anything!" She gave the pink hedgehog a sly grin.

Bléu's eyes went wide when Amy and Rouge were arguing. Now, of course, sharing the same last name of Bléu's girlfriend already made the Bléunette feel a bit homesick. "Ruby…" She looked down and felt her heart break again. Now that the adrenaline was gone and she was thinking of her again, tears filled her eyes.

The other girls noticed this and looked at each other. They wordlessly agreed that something had to be done. "Bléu, sweetie… How about we finish shopping and get you into some warm clothes?" Rouge put her hand on the Bléuberry's shoulder, hoping to calm her down.

The young hedgehog wiped her eyes. "R-right… I'm sorry."

"Is… Everything okay?" Amy asked, concerned for this Sonic look-a-like. The tarot card reader could sense that there was something horrible going on. She recognized that expression, the expression of someone far away from the person they love.

"Yeah. I think she's just going through a lot right now. Would you like to come with us for a bit?" Rouge looked at Amy.

"Of course!" Amy gave a knowing smile, hoping she could cheer Bléu up, even just a little bit.

The three girls went shopping for a decent few hours. Bléu eventually cheered up, and they went to several clothing stores. They all tried on clothes, got their nails painted, and Rouge and Amy talked about cute boys while… Bléu had an odd case of deja vu.

Mariette

Once they made it to a hair stylist, they were greeted by an anthropomorphic bunny woman with robot legs, "allo 'allo dair ladees. Wélcomé to le grand openeng of mon Stellair Salon!" The large lady had breasts so large they even put Rouge's to shame. "Mon name eez Mariette. Sacré bleu!"

Bléu blinked a couple of times, pointing at herself. "Uhm, yes, that's my name. How did you know that?"

"Non non dair child. Yur 'airs et queehls are an absulute mez! You 'avé come to le right place! Please allow mé to fix yur 'air. Ai inseest, ai inseest!" She zipped close to the young hedgehog and grabbed by the shoulders and (with a surprisingly gentle pull) took Bléu to a seat and wrapped the chair cloth around Bléu's neck to prevent any hair from getting on her baggy clothes that she hadn't changed out of yet. "Now, Bléu you said yur name was, oui? Tell me yur lifé stairy. Inspiyaire me to givé you zé greatest cut zat you désairvé! Leave nothéng oot! Give mé all of ze juicy details." She twirled Bléu into a chair and started cleaning her hair.

Bléu could barely understand her accent. It didn't sound like anything on Remnant. Fortunately, she was able to pick up enough. Shrugging, the disheveled girl started conversing with the eccentric woman as her hair was washed. Getting comfortable, she was loving how her scalp was massaged.

"Ah oui. Zis all tees togethair. Ai 'avé ze pairfect look fair you!" Her warm heart goes out to Bléu and her story, not even flinching at the fact that she claims to be from another world.

The rabbit woman has her first customer lean back up and sit in the spinning chair. She was experienced, and Amy and Rouge could tell by how skillfully she quickly combed, snipped, and finished Bléu's new hairstyle. "And voilà. Mon first mastairpiece eez complete!" The rabbit stylist had a grand smile on her face as she spun Bléu around and showed her off, handing her a hand mirror for her to look at herself.

Her messy hair had now been neatly flattened and trimmed, her healthy hair falling on both sides of her face, and another clump of bangs pointed directly down at her nose. "Wow… this is similar to how I kept my hair as a human…"

"Ai am le bést fair a réason sweethair" Rouge and Amy split the bill for the haircut. Saying their goodbyes to Mariette, continued their shopping spree.

As they walked and talked, Rouge and Amy would tell her a bit about their world; and in tangent, Bléu told them a bit about Remnant and her world, the Faunus, how she was a student, and her teammates. Smiling as she thought about her team. "Weiss, she's a stuck-up snob most of the time, but she has a warm side to her. Yang, she's strong and protective, even if she can be a little slow."

"Now that sounds like a certain Knucklehead we know." Rouge gave a laugh.

"Blake, she's a cat faunus. So at first, she felt like she was different from the rest of us… and she's all dark and gloomy most of the time."

"Two for two! She and Shadow would get along great." The bat girl lets out another chuckle.

"And… Ruby Rose…" Bléu grew a small smile. She's the leader. She uses a giant scythe called Crescent Rose. She's fast, amazingly talented… cute as a button… and." The girl blushed as she caught herself blabbing about her girlfriend.

"That… Ruby girl…" Amy spoke up. "She was someone special to you, wasn't she?"

The Bléunette didn't feel like opening up. "What? N-no." She lied. Out of nowhere, she let out a little hiccup. Blushing a bit, she looked back at Amy and Rouge, and she nodded. "It's that obvious, huh?"

Amy nodded with a weak smile. "I know that feeling. Even though she's several worlds away now, if you truly love her, then things will work out. I know you'll see her again." She pulled Bléu into a tight hug, offering her support.

Rouge was going to tease Amy about being obsessed with Sonic again, but she decided not to ruin the moment… at least, not until they finished hugging. "Phew… I hope you're happy, Miss Greann! I'm buying a LOT more than I initially planned on today."

"You can thank me later." Amy whispered to Bléu, knowing that she helped score the Bléuberry some extra free clothes.

"Thank you both, it means a lot… although. One last thing before we head back… between us girls… Why do you two have boobs and I don't? As a human, mine were pretty big… and now they're not." She groped the air in front of her chest area, saddened by her lack of assets.

Amy and Rouge both blinked at the blunt question. The pink girl quickly makes an excuse to escape. "Oh! I think I see Sonic over there! I gotta go, see you girls later!" Rouge glared daggers at the pink hog as she fled. Looking back at Bléu, she sighed. Thinking of how to handle this delicate situation of explaining Mobian puberty. (author's note: Okay, this is just my own gripe, but this is gonna be a long story. I'm just gonna make things simpler for myself and call them Mobians despite the fact that the term shouldn't exist in this continuity. I'll try to avoid it, though.)

"Well… you seem awfully young to be worried about that. But… animals like us mature later in age than humans do. So… that might be why?" She certainly wasn't expecting to have this conversation when she woke up today.

"Okay! Thank you! I'm sorry for being weird!" She bowed apologetically.

"It's fine, I suppose. Let's get you back… And maybe you can repay me with some of those gemstones…" Rouge pursed her lips to another smile.

As the two made their way back to the G.U.N. base, Bléu sweat dropped. "These… actually aren't just jewels like you would find in pretty necklaces. This is Dust. They're highly volatile and can explode into a variety of elemental power…"

Rouge went wide-eyed at the explanation and took very good note of Bléu's words here, subtly moving her stolen piece of Dust to a safer location on her body when the Bléunette wasn't looking She was, of course, still going to keep it. A beautiful gem is still worth the risk of explosion; such a cruel waste of crystals to have them be explosive. Rouge shed a single tear for all the beautiful jewels in Bléu's world that were destined to be used in such a way.

Bléu smiled as she looked down at herself, admiring her new outfit. Her new weirdly shaped feet were finally covered up with a nice pair of shoes. They were basic: similar to Sonic's, but without the buckle and green instead of red. She wore a skin-tight darkly colored bodysuit, apparently that was considered common, no reason to steer clear when you want to blend in. Something she might have trouble with; between Amy and several other citizens, she kept getting confused with another blue hedgehog named Sonic, weird. It was a bit odd, getting used to this new body, different clothing styles between species would take some getting used to. Bléu pondered these thoughts as she and Rouge made it back to the G.U.N. HQ. The two mobians both held several bags of clothes between the two, while Bléu made sure to keep a tight hold on the bag that held her Dust crystals, being careful not to jingle them around too much.

"A short hour long trip, huh?"

"GAH!" Bléu was startled and jumped as Shadow suddenly appeared in front of them. He didn't even jump down from somewhere or run up to them. He was just suddenly there!

Rouge, however, was expecting Shadow to show up like this. She rolled her eyes and looked at the dark hero. "Shadow, do you really want to have that conversation?"

Reconsidering his words, Shadow grunted and crossed his arms. "No…" Women are fickle creatures. He knew there was no winning that argument.

"Good boy. You look like you have some things to talk with her about, I'll take the kid's new wardrobe to her room. Bring her there after you're done."

Shadow gave a light nod as the bat girl lifted Bléu's bags filled with clothes. The blue and green hedgehog was surprised at how easily she flew up in the air with the heavy bags. "Hmm…" She turned back to Shadow. "What's up?"

Shadow motioned for her to follow as he started walking. "Before I found you falling to your death, I was fighting someone with powerful fire magic. Do you know anyone like that? Hot enough to melt metal?" Shadow got right to the point. He wasn't one to stall needlessly.

"Magic? No… that doesn't really exist where I'm from. We have Semblances, but that's about the closest thing. There's my friend, Yang. She kind of glows like fire when she gets angry, but from what I can tell it's just a visual effect." The blunette opened her Dust bag and blinked when she looked at her broken weapon. "That's weird, I thought I had a red one in my right claw…" She delicately pulled out another red Dust crystal instead. "We have these minerals that have elemental powers, very powerful." She handed it to Shadow, letting him examine it.

"A Chaos Emerald? No…" Shadow looked at the red gem and gave it a close look, rotating it in his hand. "There's energy in this… but nowhere near compared to that of a Chaos Emerald."

There's that word again. Chaos Emeralds? Perhaps that's what they use instead of Dust crystals in this world? "So… did you have any other questions?"

Shadow hands the small gem back. "You said you could fix my air shoe, How fast?"

The technomancer smirked confidently. She stood proudly and thought back to the black speedster's skates. "I can get them fixed before morning if I don't sleep."

Shadow shook his head. "No, you look exhausted." They finally made it to Bléu's guest room.

The blue and green hedgehog smiled at what looked like a warm bed. She didn't feel it until this very moment, but Shadow was absolutely correct. Bléu had been through hell and back in the past 24 hours. The Fall of Beacon, teleporting to a new world, adjusting to a new body, going shopping, and meeting all these new people took a major toll on her mental and physical state. She walked in and saw that Rouge was still putting away clothes neatly, that was nice of her… "Why are you guys being so kind to me? Your military seems way more chill than the one I grew up with."

Shadow crossed his arms again, looking away. "Allies are valuable…"

"Oh, don't listen to him. We're glad to help you! I can't imagine being away from my gem collection. Believe it or not, we've met people from other dimensions plenty of times! We'll get you back with your friends in no time!" She hung the last of the clothes up and smiled at Bléu as she exited the room. "Have a good sleep, Sugar." She pressed a button and closed the door.

Bléu looked at the door for a moment before letting out a deep sigh. She slumped onto the bed, too tired to even kick her new shoes off. Her mind wandered over the events of the past couple of days. The last time she was in a bed, she was cuddling up with the cutest girl in her school. She sighed and went over the events of the invasion. "Penny… Pyrrha…" She let herself finally break down and let the tears flow freely. She thought about her precious Rubles. Did she make it? Did she win? The lonely teen shook her head, trying to stay on a positive note. She wiped her eyes and took deep breaths.

Ruby had that mysterious power awaken from her eyes, good chance that saved her if it killed Bléu. Penny can be rebui- "Wait…" She blinked, her eyes glowing a bright neon blue in the darkness of her room. How could she forget? She never forgets things! Grumbling about her own memory, she concentrated her mind. Searching the depths of her mind with her Semblance, the blue and green haired girl took a few minutes, using up her aura, she finally found what she was looking for. "There you are… C'mon… wake up!" With her body and mind exhausted, Bléu couldn't stay awake anymore. She passed out onto her bed, falling asleep.

Once the Bléuberry lost consciousness, there was nothing for a while. Suddenly, she awoke in a familiar bed! She was back in her room at Beacon! Looking down, Bléu was comforted to find herself in her old human body. "Oh my precious boobies! I missed you!" She hugged herself and smiled. Shaking her head, she looked around. Everything felt… fuzzy… "Right. This is probably a dream… Welp." Testing this theory, she imagined herself floating and float she did! "Man, I love lucid dreaming." Since she was in her mind, she was talking much more frequently since this was already her subconscious. Floating around her room, zipping around the RWBBY bunk beds, she sighed. She wanted to go and just relive some days with her team… but she was going to make her time useful here. She opened the window and flew out.

She giggled as she flew like her favorite superhero, making loop de loops as she flew to the Amity Colosseum. It was in ruins the last she saw it, so that's how it appeared in her dream. "Damn… I still can't believe this." She swirled along the outside before entering from the open roof. There, she saw. "Penny…" Bléu said to the glitching aberration of her robotic friend. She landed in front of Penny. "Alright, girlie… let's see if I can wake you up from in here." She placed her hands on the glitching form. "Penny, wake up… Please, you have to wake up…"

The glitching was almost formless, with no consistent body physically, but she could feel her. The more that Bléu interacted with it, the more Penny became clear. Eventually, she woke up. "Wh-wh-where a-a-am I-I-I?" A familiar, yet robotic voice echoed throughout Bléu's mind. "B-B-Bléu?"

"Yes! Penny, I'm here. Just keep talking, wake yourself up!" Bléu's eyes teared up, holding on to her friend. "C'mon…" She wrapped her arms around the android.

"B-Bléu… I-I'm cold… What h-happened? I can't s-see you… b-but I can f-feel you…" Penny was stabilizing with each word, "The last thing I r-remember… I was f-fighting Miss P-Pyrrha…"

She gasped as she finally formed in Bléu's arms. Her short orange hair began flowing as she moved around. Her green eyes blinked as she finally saw the top of Bléu's head. They broke apart from their hug. Bléu was in tears, happy that she was able to save one of her closest friends from death.

"Bléu… Hello! Where are we?" She looked around, finding herself in the arena she was just in, but in a trashed state. The robot looked back at her friend, tilting her head. "Bléu? Why are you crying?"

"Penny, you're alive…" The blunette smiled as she hugged her again. Taking a deep breath, Bléu wiped her… technically imaginary tears away. "You… missed a lot." She placed her hand on Penny's shoulder. "I guess I'll have to catch you up on what I know. Come on…" She floated in the air and allowed Penny to follow her in the air.

After a long explanation, Penny and Bléu found themselves in the lunchroom. "So… Miss Nikos… is dead? That's very sad…" The robot girl looked like she was on the verge of tears.

"I'm surprised to hear you say that…" Bléu pondered out loud.

"She was your friend, Ruby's friend! Your classmate! And like you said, she was probably being manipulated by that evil Cinder woman!"

The Bléunette blinked. "I never said that. Penny, before anything else. I think I should let you know. We're inside my mind. I'm dreaming. Your body got destroyed back on Remnant… I think we may have died and been reborn in a new world…"

"...Oh. Well, that would explain how we can fly… I think I see more. Your memories… Oh dear… Bléu, I can see your memories!"

"Wh-what?" Bléu's eyes widened. "Uh-uhm…" She didn't think this would happen, but Penny was a good friend, "I suppose it's not the end of the world."

"Oh my… You and Ruby… are very intimate." She gave a light blush and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Hey! Stop looking at that!" Bléu went wide-eyed as she knew exactly what memory that Penny was looking at.

"VERY intimate… I have never seen that pose before"

"PENNY!"

She blinked, looking away from the filthy memory, and blushed with a smile. "Sorry, sorry!" The curious robot girl realized that she was invading some personal space.

"Hmph…" Bléu pouted with a blush on her face. "I guess you're gonna be stuck in my head for a while. I guess… Try to make yourself comfortable and… maybe try not to look at any more of my embarrassing memories?" She rubbed her arm. "My body and my brain are exhausted, so I'm going to relax for the night. Do you think you'll be okay?"

Penny saluted with a beaming smile, "Yes ma'am! I will do my best…" There's some emotion at the end. "Thank you… for saving me…"

"You're welcome! I'm going to fully go to sleep in my dorm room projection. You should be able to find me if you need me." Bléu disappeared and dreamed up some memory food. A tray of lunch food, strawberries and cookies, Ruby's favorite. Penny went wide-eyed and tried them. An explosion of flavor filled the robo girl's mouth. Her father could never figure out taste receptors, so this was the first time she ever ate food! It was… It was! It's kind of underwhelming.

"Hm…" Penny frowned but still continued eating them. Maybe she just didn't like sweet foods? Ironic considering Penny's personality. She finished the food and spent the rest of her time exploring Beacon since she was never allowed. She smiled as she thought of all the hijinks that her friends would get up to in this school.

And that wraps it up for the prologue, a little bit of Shadow in chapter one, a bit of RWBY in chapter 2. I'm probably gonna have a small bit for Sonic in the next chapter since that'll be the start of the Sonic Forces game proper.

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed this chapter and the proper return of Bléu. Remember to favorite and follow this story if you want to stay updated! I also have a discord! It's in my profile
