since those adventures, the woman making accusations against her late mother, doubt cast over Taylor, to the point she wasn't sure what to do or say, if what was truth was lies, that it made her start seeking out the answers to her own questions.

It led her down a rabbit hole of trying to find out if it was true, that her late mother stole her from her birth family, but the search turned up nothing of worth, she couldn't find any distant relatives of her mother to ask.

She even went down every legal avenue that was possible, but that didn't turn out anything, either.

No one knew where her mother's family went, as far as they're aware, she was an orphan, but that couldn't have been, so Taylor pushes onward looking for answers.

Her quest took her to having her blood tested.

It took longer than she anticipated and when the results came back, the company claimed that there was cross-contamination in her bloodwork, that she would have to do it, again.

Taylor told the company to use as much blood as they need, they can ask for more if they need it.

Investigating missing children, Taylor hated doing it, but she wanted the truth, and that unfortunately meant no stone unturned.

No child matched her description, she even expanded the search out of the country, nothing.

This was driving her mad that she was in the TARDIS daily trying to find her answers, but nothing came, and she was exasperated by the improbability.

At the end of her countless hours of searching for answers, Taylor was forced to reel in the fact that the only one who would know the truth, the one who attempted her life more than once, was the only way she would get them.

Understandably, Paul was shocked that Taylor wanted to find the woman that tried killing her on Gallifrey.

"She knows who I am, Paul," Taylor pointed out. "The TARDIS can't help me, the officials can't help, I don't have anyone to tell me what I need to know."

It took convincing before Paul finally agreed that Taylor deserved the right to know where she came from and that the only way, she would have her answers was to face the woman.

"She may try to kill you, again," Paul worries.

Affirming that she wanted to try, anyway, Taylor went with Paul back into the TARDIS, from there, Paul attempts to locate the woman.

Initially, the TARDIS couldn't locate her despite all the efforts of trying.

Stumped, Paul turns his head to Taylor as he tells her that he doesn't know what to tell her.

Thinking hard, Taylor felt compelled to look in the one place she didn't think to look before.

In her mind, she called out to the ether, "Tell me where she is… please…"

There was only silence and Taylor felt helpless as she didn't know what else to do, until the TARDIS sprung alive on its own without Paul's doing.

Gripping the handlebars, the couple felt the TARDIS rattling as it started operating on its own.

Eventually, it stopped rattling, the air warmed, and the couple moved from the handlebars towards the door.

Unsure where the TARDIS took them, Paul went outside first.

Upon leaving the TARDIS, Paul saw it took them to a city.

Once he confirmed there was no immediate danger within distance of the TARDIS, Paul waves Taylor out, and she joins him as they set out to locate the woman, unsure what would come of it, and if the woman would be willing to tell Taylor what she wanted to know.

Unsure where to start, Paul picked a direction, and off they went.

Going through the city, the couple came to find they're in an Eastern European city, and it had buzz around it being a place where a famous movie was filmed.

Still, it didn't help them locating the woman, that Paul wondered if she was even in the city.

Eventually, they're coming down a street where Paul's angel eyes saw a peculiar woman standing on the corner, a look in her dark eyes.

No one paid any attention to her as they walked about their day, she remained where she was, until she stiffly turned her head, and saw Paul and Taylor.

Tensing up, Paul was prepared for the woman to attack them, but she remained where she was when Taylor made her way towards her.

Following behind closely, Paul stops Taylor as he kept her from getting too close.

"Couldn't help yourself, could you?" The woman asks her.

As she tugged on her coat's collar, Taylor asks, "You know why I'm here?"

Scoffing, the woman turned her head away as she dryly said, "Well, you're sure as hell not here to ask aboutmyday."

Curious, Paul asks, "How did you get here?"

Scoffing once more, the woman turned her head back to face Paul as she answers, "You should know that answer by now, Doctor."

Stepping closer, Taylor asks her, "Do you know where I am from?"

Shaking her head, the woman was baffled as she asks Taylor her own question, "Are you mental?"

Determined Taylor insisted that the woman tell her what she knows, and the woman responded with, "He told you, girl, don't go looking for answers."

Remaining firm, Taylor insisted that she achieve her goal, causing the woman to eye her with curiosity as she began leaning on the post adjacent to her.

"You have any idea what you're getting into, girl?" the woman questions if Taylor knows truly what she's getting herself into by asking her these questions.

Pointing at her, Taylor brought up that it was because of the woman that she was here, something the woman didn't deny, but cautioned her all the same.

Sensing something amiss, Paul kept Taylor away from the woman as he demanded she tell him why she was trying to kill him and Taylor.

"It was my mission," the woman casually told him.

It was nothing against Paul or Taylor, she was only doing what she was ordered.

Furious, Paul questioned why she doesn't try to kill him and Taylor, now, since they're right there, and she cryptically answers with, "You can ask can find him."

It dawned on Paul that he knew who she was referring to before he asked her why he helped her escape Gallifrey.

"Guilt, if I could guess," the woman still refused to tell them anything.

Reaching out to her, Taylor pleads with the woman to help her.

"You don't wantthoseanswers," the woman warns Taylor to reconsider her stance.

Refusing to budge, Taylor could see the disinterested woman look away briefly before looking up at her.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," the woman eyed her.

She reached into her pocket and held out a piece of paper.

Paul reached for it and with it in his hands, he eyes the woman as he asks, "What aren't you telling us?"

Remaining disinterested, the woman only said, "You got your answer, now beat it. Don't cry to me when you find it doesn't line up with your expectations."

She doesn't want anything to do with them anymore, they do her, as far as she's aware, they got what they wanted, and now they can leave her, alone.

With the piece of paper in his hand, Paul led Taylor away, periodically, he would look back to check on the woman, and she remained where she stood since they found her.

Behind her dark eyes, he could tell she was reminiscing on old memories.

Upon returning to the TARDIS, the first thing Paul did was close the door behind them, and firmly locked it into place before going up to the console with the paper open.

It was coordinates.

Putting them in, Paul felt the TARDIS springing alive as the air chilled around him and Taylor, as it detected the location in the coordinates.

When it stopped, Paul gone up to the door and opened it.

He could smell the mugginess from the threshold as he went back to grab torches for him and Taylor.
