Maddison Russle swung open the door of her house and plopped herself down on the couch. She had some chores to do around the house but those could wait for now.

She pulled out her phone to get a quick rundown on whatever titan chaos had happened around the world. Most had grown numb to the continuous reports of death and destruction but nor her. She found new info in every report and incident, slowly building up more and more of a file on what each titan could do or wanted to do.

Today on the news: Godzilla sighted off the coast of portugal,Titanis Typhoncontinues to advance towards Chyrnobel, Floods through west france and east England,Titanis Na Kikahas been sighted in the Australian bush and the brazilian government contemplates weather or not to launch an attack on the still docile Behemoth, fearing that it may be a danger to their citizens.

As she was scrolling through endless articles her dad, Mark Russle, walked through the door, took off his rucksack and sighed the sigh of a man who could finally relax.

"Hi Maddie," he said wearily ,"how was work."

"Boring as always," she replied.

She had recently gotten a minimum wage job at a fast food chain where she would spend her gap year and get some work experience.

As her dad walked over to the cupboards to go and get a snack Madisson got up and nonchalantly walked out the room and closed the door. She speed walked over to her dad's rucksack, unzipped it and took out his laptop. She then closed the bag and ran up the stairs two at a time.

She opened her room door, closed it and then locked it with a lock that she had covertly drilled into the wall while her dad was away as an extra layer of precaution. Using her spare hand she swiped some general debris off her deck and gently placed the Laptop down.

Upon flipping open the computer, she was greeted with a simple blue screen with the words"Please Enter Authorisation" pasted in a pixelated text across the top of the screen, just above a box where one would enter a password. Below this box, in smaller text was the option to "use face ID".

Madisson opened her desk drawer and pulled out a picture of her father, printed on a sturdy looking piece of card. She then selected the face ID option and held the image up to the camera. Just like that the laptop unlocked onto the desktop.

Maddie opened her dad's Emails and clicked on the first one which was some random report on Methuselah and where it was said to be heading next. Not bothering to read it thoroughly she whipped out her phone and took a picture of the Email. She then clicked out of it and opened the next one and repeating the process.

Soon she had gone through all her dad's Emails and moved on to his files. She pulled a hard drive out her pocket and downloaded copies of everything, waiting anxiously as she watched the download bar slowly near the end of the screen. After a few minutes of nervous, butterfly-inducing waiting the download was complete and she could finally pull out the hard drive and wedge it into her pocket.

After she was satisfied that she had gotten everything new she shut the laptop and made sure that there was no blatantly obvious sign of her being there. She then slotted the laptop under her arm and snuck down the stairs, slotting the laptop back into her father's bag.

She then proceeded to slip out the door and began a brisk walk towards the nearest bus stop.
