As the days repeated over and over, they seemed to blend into one dream turned nightmare. While I got along with most of the night class, it was just like Kaname to make me feel far too restless and solitaire. Most days I sat in my room, watching the world outside run perfectly normal.

"Takuma? Why is it that Kaname insists on keeping me trapped in this cage like a bird of flight?' I asked softly as I enjoyed the soft breeze from the open window I stood beside. My long black hair fell a bit into my eyes as I kept my head pressed against the wall.

"Perhaps, Lord Kaname has a plan for you on how he wishes to handle the coming months." He said softly before adding. "I understand how distressing this situation must be for you, My Lady, but let's not jump to conclusions." He had a way of calming my thoughts of running away from here with only his voice.

"Do you think perhaps you could convince him to let me go out this evening? To stretch my legs and such. Please Takuma. I could go alone or with you." I said softly, tilting my head to glance back at him at his spot on the sofa with his book. "You'll be safe with me in the darkness," I added.

He sighed softly as he closed and laid the book back on the sofa before getting up and walking over to me. I corrected how I was leaning against the wall, to look at him fully and take him in.

"I suppose it couldn't help but ask. I will be back once I have an answer, so please stay in here until then, Lady Suki." He said before turning back around and walking out the door, being sure to close it securely behind him. I was sure that if Takuma asked then Kaname was sure to be a little more giving in my situation. After all, I hardly asked for much from him.

It wasn't too long before there was a knock on my door, "Come in." I called out as I sat down on my bed. I hoped up expecting to see Takuma, however, instead, I saw Kaname opening the door with Takuma not far behind him. I tilted my head a little to see them both better. "Now do I get the pleasure of your company, Kaname?" I asked.

He gave me his usual 'I'm disappointed in everyone' look before speaking clearly. "I understand that you wish to be granted an evening out on the town, is that correct?" He asked.

"Yes, that's correct. I've followed your rules and I haven't tried to run away once. I expect a night out to stretch isn't a lot to ask for, Kaname." I said.

"Well, Takuma must go with you and I'll be watching from afar. Perhaps if you hadn't messed with the mind of one of my pawns, you may have gotten this treat sooner." He said and at first, I didn't understand what he meant, but then I remembered when I spoke to Zero and quickly realized that he had known about that and perhaps the lie I had told as well. That's why I was in a jail-like situation for so long. But maybe if I pretend like I don't understand his reasoning, he won't truly hold it against me.

"Whatever do you mean, Kaname? Messed with the mind of a pawn? I've been in your sights since I got here and Takuma has been faithful the whole time." I said attempting to throw him off of the course.

"Suki." One word. One name. One tone to express that I was not a good liar. He walked closer to me and ever so carefully ran a hand through my hair gently. "I will not be made to seem like a fool. Correct your mistakes and your next treat won't be months away." He said, but the threat that laced his voice didn't go unnoticed. I gave a light nod before he headed back to the door. "You may go tonight, but be back before midnight." He said as he left my room and I looked back to Takuma.

"You really ought to not upset him like that. It will only end badly in the end, Suki." He said softly.

"I know, but sometimes I simply cannot help it, Takuma," I said softly as he left my room so that I could change and get ready for the evening ahead.
