6: The kids transform

A while later, McKrill brought out a large fish tank and a camera to give to Fly, while Chuck, Celia, and I stayed elsewhere to watch the test.

-Start the camera! This moment must be immortalized!-

-Camera's running…and action!-

-Finally! The time has come!-

After those words the teacher began to approach the bottle to his lips, we looked anxiously at the professor, especially me who wanted to see if it worked, but just before taking a sip he left it in the fish tank and started laughing.

-Oh, how stupid, I almost forgot! -He said-Silly me!-He took the four of us to a small room.

-Here's the antidote i made, this potion is almost the same, but it order to reverse the process -The professor began to fill a square bottle with the antidote-You'll have to add, some ground up kelp…-He said while pouring some of the antidote on the bottle.

While we were with the professor, Stella and Steven continued to explore the laboratory on their own until they stumbled upon the potion.

-Lemonade! :D-Stella said.

-It looks good!-Steven added as he approached her.

Stella grabbed the bottle and took a sip, and then Steven did the same, what they didn't know was what would happen next.

They both began to feel dizzy, then they hallucinated until they passed out, falling to the ground, and Stella inadvertently activated an alarm by pulling a lever.

The alarm sounded throughout the laboratory, disturbing the professor:

-Oh no! The pump has stopped! Where is the generator?!-

McKrill headed to a huge machine which was the generator. He pulled the lever and everything returned to normal, or so we thought...

-Oh, that's done it!-The professor said before pointing at the pipes-You see Professor Chuck, this system circulates fresh seawater to my fish around the clock, without it they would die! See there? I pump it directly from the ocean!-

While the professor was talking to Chuck and Celia, I realized that I hadn't seen my brother in a while. Same with Fly, neither of us had seen our brothers and we were starting to worry.

-Hey you guys, have anyone seen Stella and Steven?-Fly asked.

-Who?-McKrill said.

-No, not in the last 6 minutes-Chuck said.

We started looking for them in the area, hoping to find them:

-Stella!-

-Steven?-

-Stella!-

-Steven!-

While we were looking, Fly found a starfish with pigtails and a pink skirt, and a seahorse with greenish colors and strange but familiar brown hair. Fly caught the starfish and threw the seahorse to me which I caught with my hands.

-Hey Chuck, check out this silly fish!- Fly said as he showed the creature to Chuck-Feli has a different one-

-It's a starfish, it will dry out, put it in water-Chuck said-Same for your seahorse Felicity-

Fly and I went to look for a place to leave them, while the others continued looking for the children.

-Kids! Now this isn't the time to play hide and seek!-Said the professor.

-Come out wherever you are!-Celia shouted.

First we thought about leaving them in a tank, but it turned out to be the piranha tank and it almost ate them, so we decided to throw them away through the window. Fly opened it to leave them free at the bottom of the sea.

-The one who throws his animal the furthest wins-I said.

-Deal!-Said Fly.

On the other hand, Chuck realized that the camera was still on.

-Hmm, it's still running...-

-What have you found, Chuck?-Said Celia, approaching to him.

They both couldn't believe what their eyes were seeing. Behind the camera were Stella and Steven transforming into the same sea creatures that Fly and I were about to throw into the sea!

-Oh no...-Celia whispered-FELICITY STOP!-

-HEY FLY!-Chuck yelled at Fly.

We didn't listen to them, we moved our arm back, Chuck and Celia tried to stop us but it was too late, Fly and I threw our brothers to the bottom of the sea and now they were lost.
