13: The escape

Back at the prison, everything was the same: Stella on the swing with a sad face, Steven had fallen asleep and the rest we looked at the crab watching us with its march and the occasional yawn. Fly was still trying to get his attention but to no avail:

-Hey, crab! -He shouted at the animal -Give me the key or…or I will use my magical powers to turn you into a frog!-

The crab stood up, yawned and fell asleep.

-WAKE UP!-He shouted again-Give me the key or…or…-Fly did not continue any further, he had lost hope.

I left Steven on the ground and went with Fly to comfort him, until I heard a sound that Stella had also heard, Stella and I looked up and I saw Sasha coming here to rescue us.

Stella jumped off the swing when she saw her friend, with a smile:

-Sasha!-Stella gave him a hug from the bars and turned to her brother-Fly, Sasha can help us!-

-Sasha is not here Stella…-Fly said discouraged.

Stella didn't listen to him as she ordered Sasha:

-Sasha get the key!-She told her.

Sasha went to where the key that the crab was keeping was.

-Sasha...?-Fly said before noticing the seahorse and his expression became more cheerful-Sasha!-Fly and I shouted at the same time.

On the other hand, a metal door opened revealing Joe

-What a morning...-He said-The sun rises over my empire...-

Suddenly the shark appeared, crushing Joe as well.

-Yeah, breakfast!-

Back at the prison, the six of us (Steven had already woken up) looked at Sasha and kept as quiet as possible while she got the key. Sasha grabbed the key with her mouth, but to our bad luck the sound made by the crab's claw echoed throughout the room, causing it to wake up! A very scared Sasha swam as fast as she could through the cage while the crab chased her.

-Sasha, throw me the key!-Fly ordered from inside.

After it made a complete turn, Sasha threw the key to Fly and he grabbed it with his fins, then we backed away as the crab stood in front of us and opened the bars with its claws.

In an instinct so that he wouldn't kill us, I took the key from Fly and threw it as hard as I could, it went over the crab and he ran towards the key.

-Come on, it's our chance!-I told them.

The crab, who already had the key in his claws, heard a familiar voice from afar:

-Hey little crab!-Fly who was at the top of the cage pushed a padlock towards the crab, it didn't take long for the crab to snap. will remain defenseless from the hit with the padlock-Great!-Fly and I did a fin crash and swam upwards on the way to freedom.

Although when we thought we were free, we collided with the shark, who had Joe on top of him.

-Mmm...breakfast...-The shark murmured.

-Going somewhere?-Joe asked.

Suddenly a familiar voice was heard coming from below and heading here:

-Who turned out the lights? Where is everybody?-Said the crab, unable to see because of the blow.

-We're up here!-Fly said behind Joe.

The crab jumped towards the shark and grabbed Joe with its claws.

-I got you! I'll finish you!

-Let me go, it's me you idiot!-Joe yelled at him.

Fly quickly pushed us out of there and looked for an exit. But Joe noticed our escape and gave an order to the shark:

-Shark, the prisoners are escaping!-

The shark grunted and started swimming towards us. Meanwhile, Fly and I were trying to remove some chains that were on a window so we could escape. We all managed to get out safely, and the shark got stuck in the window.

-USELESS!-Joe told his companions-Both of you, you're not fit for sushi, I'm going to send you to an execution!-

-Oh...what was that?-Said the shark, confused.

-Shark, chew up that useless crab, and eat yourself when you finish-

-Yeah-!-The shark stopped talking to start thinking and after looking at Joe hungrily.

-I mean...no, I didn't mean that...no one should execute themselves in a civilized society...-Joe stoped talking and point to a small red fish-You-

The fish approached:

-Who me?-He said.

-Yes you, due to your long and faithful service, I appoint you chief of executions-

The fish was very happy and began to thank him, just before being eaten by the shark! Joe thought and had another idea:

-On the other hand…-He began to say-I think it was just a misunderstanding, a great leader stands out for his ability to forgive, shark, I name you battle commander!-

The shark took one look and gave an order to all the fish present:

-ATTENTION!-

All the fish organized themselves and Joe gave another order:

-Go get those six infuriating fish, and bring them to me, NOW!-
