20: Through the pipes

Later, a spool of red thread was embedded in the ocean floor, some of the thread was being pulled by Chuck, accompanied by Celia while the rest of us stayed with Fly. We stood in front of the pipe that would take us to the laboratory.

-6 minutes left...-Chuck said looking at his watch-You guys ready?-

We entered the pipe and the great current dragged us, meanwhile, Joe looked at the spool of thread and smiled evilly.

We quickly reached a small barrier that Chuck opened with the screwdriver.

Meanwhile in the lab, Anna who had woken up after she fainted and gasped:

-Charles... a fish...?-

Anna started to cry and grabbed Lisa's hands and said:

-Oh dear, it's all my fault! If I hadn't fallen asleep...-

-My poor Celia, she will be very scared-My aunt exclaimed. -This is all your fault!-She told my mother with rage-If she hadn't gone with YOUR daughter, none of this would be happening!-

-My fault?-My mother said surprised-I didn't know this would happen!-

She and my aunt started fighting until Lisa separated them and they stopped arguing.

-Felicity…Steven…please come back…-My mother said in a low voice.

Back at the pipe, Chuck undid the knot connecting the line and we shot off at high speed. Without realizing it, Joe started chasing us. Celia, who noticed something strange, turned around and saw how Joe was approaching.

-GUYS, WE HAVE COMPANY!-She shouted.

The rest of us turned around in fear as Joe got closer and closer.

Back in the lab, Anna put one of her hands on Lisa's chin as she said:

-Lisa, will you ever forgive me?-

-That's enough stop it, it's not your fault-She told her to console Anna-Bill, Tom and the professor we'll find them, and then…-

Back in the pipe, we were just a few feet away from a moving fan.

-Give me the fork fish!-Chuck ordered.

Fly took out a small toy fish tied to a fork, Chuck began to wind it up while Celia counted down:

-5, 4, 3 ,2 ,1!-

Chuck dropped the toy fish and stopped dead, turning off the fan so we could pass. Joe kept swimming as fast as possible towards us, but Chuck couldn't get the device out of the fan so Celia helped him by pulling it out, but Joe managed to get in before the fan started working again.

-The balloon!-Celia ordered.

Fly gave a red balloon to Celia and she began to inflate it, (I don't know how because there is no air here but I'm not going to question anything) and thus keep us safe while we hit the walls, which Joe couldn't have hitting in every corner.

After a long trip, we arrived at the piranha tank, which looked at us threateningly and wanting to attack us. Chuck began swimming towards another barrier to distract the piranhas.

-Chuck! Where are you going?-Fly exclaimed.

All the piranhas went towards Chuck only for them to be trapped, seconds later, the lab began to flood.

-Three minutes left…-Chuck said to himself.

On the other hand, Joe entered the laboratory and saw us leaving the tank and from inside it, he gave us an evil smile.

Meanwhile, we finally arrived where the big bottle of antidote was.

-Oh we got it!-Chuck exclaimed happily.

Suddenly Joe came to the surface and trapped me, Fly, and the little ones inside the sock, and then he pushed Chuck and Celia away.

-I think this device is mine!-Joe said as Chuck and Celia floated out.

Elsewhere, Anna heard screams.

-What was that? I thought I heard Charles' voice!

-Anna, stop please-Le video Lisa.

-Charles!-Shouted Anna, ignoring Lisa-Charles!-

Chuck began to look around while calling desperately:

-Fly! Stella! Guys! Where are you?-

Celia also started looking for me and Steven until she saw Joe running away with the antidote. Chuck also noticed and quickly went to where he was.

-STOP!-Chuck shouted.

-I'm sorry...-Joe told him-I can't stay for dinner...-

The school of piranhas came out of their tank, cornering Chuck. Celia, who had not been noticed by them, spotted the sock in which she had trapped us and quickly went to free us.

On the surface, Bill, my father and the professor swam toward the lab again, tired of moving the boat with their hands.

Back at the laboratory, Celia undid the knot and we managed to get out safely.

-Are you okay?-She asked us.

-Yes…-I told him.

-Take that you sockeye suckers!-Chuck shouted.

Fly looked up and saw his cousin fighting the piranhas on his own, Celia and I saw it too and an idea came to me:

-There are too many...-I said-I don't think he can manage them alone-I looked at Celia and she looked at me knowing what i was proposing.

-What about Fly? He needs help-Celia told me.

-I'll take care of him-I saw a small metal iron and I gave it to her-Now go help your boyfriend-

-HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!-She yelled at me-But okay...

Celia swam quickly towards Chuck, then I turned around and my face turned to one of surprise as Joe was escaping with the antidote.

-You stupid, stupid fish!-Stella said angrily.

-Stupid fish...?-Fly repeated until an idea occurred to him.

He began to swim with his fins towards the tube where Joe was escaping.

-Fly, what are you doing?-Stella asked.

-Using my brain...for once-Fly answered.

I watched as he went with all his strength towards Joe while I stayed with Stella and Steven, and Chuck and Celia were killing the piranhas one by one.
