Chapter 37: Getting A Chance To Go Outside Again
Rosie was kidnapped by a poacher but she was saved by Uncles Blu and Banjo, and other members of the Blue macaw tribe. Let's see how the little hybrid doing.
It been a couple of weeks since Rosie, the only daughter of Garth and Holly. She is the Blue and Scarlet hybrid chicks was almost smuggled out of the Amazon Rainforest but luckily her father, her uncles Blu, Banjo, along with other members of the Blue macaw tribe have saved her from the poacher.
Rosie was in her hollow. She was scared to come out because she thinks there will be another human to kidnap her. She don't want to come out at all. She been staying in her hollow for a couple of weeks.
"Rosie sweetie, it's time to come out. You haven't been out since a couple of weeks." Holly said.
"Mom, I don't want to do. I am scared." Rosie said.
"I will be with you. I will make sure no threat is here to kidnap you." Holly said.
"I don't want to be captured by another human again." Rosie said.
"I know that honey. Your father, your uncle, and the other members of the Blue macaw tribe saved you from that poacher. Please come with me." Holly said.
"Holly, honey. Don't force our daughter to come outside if she don't want to. She is giving herself time." Garth told his mate.
"Thank you daddy." Rosie thanked her father.
"You're welcome sweetie." Garth said.
"Okay, I won't force her." Holly said.
"I will get us breakfast." Garth said as he exits the hollow to get breakfast.
Garth fly around the Amazon Rainforest to get breakfast. He sees three Brazil Nuts. He got three Brazil Nuts to get for his family. Garth went to his hollow.
"Here is breakfast." Garth said as he gives his mate and daughter Brazil Nuts. They all eat together.
"That was an amazing breakfast." Rosie smiled.
"I am glad you enjoy your breakfast sweetie." Garth smiled.
"Indeed." Rosie said.
"Guys, I will be right back. I need to talk to Alex about something." Garth said.
"Don't be long honey." Holly said.
"I won't." Garth said.
Garth exits the hollow to Alex's hollow. He sees Alex and Lily kissing each other.
"Hey Garth." Alex greeted his cousin-in-law.
"Hey Alex, Hey Lily. Sorry to interrupt but can I borrow Alex for a second?" Garth asked.
"Sure." Lily smiled.
Alex and Garth went outside to talk.
"What do you want cousin-in-law?" Alex asked.
"It's Rosie, she been staying in her hollow for a couple of weeks. The reason she stayed in the hollow because of the poacher kidnapped her. My mate wanted her to come with her but she was scared." Garth said.
"Oh My Gosh. Garth. You and Katie can teach your daughter one step at a time by doing baby steps. Maybe she will go outside again but teach her one step at a time." Alex said.
"You really think so." Garth said.
"I know so." Alex said.
"Okay thanks Alex." Garth thanked him.
"You're welcome. Anything for my cousin-in-law." Alex smiled.
Alex and Garth hugged each other. Garth fly to go back to his family.
"Hey honey." Holly said.
"Hey sweetie." Garth said.
"I just have a talk with Alex about our daughter." Garth said.
"You have, what he say?" Holly asked.
"He suggested that we should teach our daughter baby steps. She is still a kid." Garth said.
"You're right. Baby steps. We will do that tomorrow morning." Holly said.
"Thanks honey for supporting me." Garth said.
"Anything for my mate." Holly said.
Garth and Holly kiss each other by holding to each other wings.
The next morning, Garth got up to get his family breakfast. He got his him and his family apples. Holly and Rosie woke up. Holly noticed her mate is not there. Garth arrived in his hollow just in time.
"Good morning honey and princess." Garth greeted his family.
"Good morning honey." Holly said.
"Good morning daddy." Rosie said.
"I got apples." Garth give his mate and daughter apples. They eat apples together. After they finished apples, they let their food digest.
"Rosie, ready for the first step." Garth said.
"What are you talking about daddy?" Rosie asked.
"Me and my mom had a talk about you being scared. We will teach you baby steps by flying straight and back." Garth explained to his daughter.
"You will be fine. Don't look at the other direction. Just look straight and come back." Holly added.
"Okay." Rosie said.
Garth, Holly, and Rosie are outside of the hollow. Rosie still scared.
"You are not coming with me mommy and daddy." Rosie said.
"No sweetie, we want you to do it. If you get scared, you can come back." Garth said.
"Okay daddy." Rosie said.
"You will go straight that tree and come back." Garth said as he pointed to the tree in front of her.
Rosie fly straight to the tree. She look straight at the tree without looking in any other direction. She went to the tree. She turned around and fly back to her parents.
"That was amazing sweetie." Garth congratulate her.
"Yeah, you look straight without looking down." Holly said.
"Let's try again." Garth said.
Rosie was focus. She went straight to the tree again. She went back to the hollow. She is getting used being outside again.
"You did it again." Garth and Holly said.
"Do you want to hang out with your friends and cousins?" Garth asked his daughter.
"Yes I would love to." Rosie said.
"Okay be careful." Holly said.
"I will mom. I love you guys. You are awesome." Rosie said.
"Love you too daughter." Garth said.
Rosie went out to spend time with her friends and cousins.
"Rosie, haven't seen you in weeks." Bia said.
"Yeah I was scared because I thought I will be kidnapped by another human." Rosie said.
"It's okay Rosie. You are safe now." Tiago said.
"We were in danger before." Bia said.
"You guys were in danger too." Rosie said.
"Yeah the loggers cut down the trees in the Amazon. My father and my uncle lead the tribe against the loggers and save the entire Amazon Rainforest." Bia said.
"Yeah. My dad let me use the adventurer knife to open the bulldozer. The best part was my father and my uncle got the dynamite and flew it into the sky." Tiago said.
"Yeah. They were heroes. The loggers retreat for good." Carla said.
"Wow that was epic." Rosie said.
Rosie spends time with her cousins and friends. After the day out, she went back to her parents hollow.
"Hey sweetie, how was your day out with your cousins and friends?" Holly smiled and asked.
"It was great mom. Bia, Carla, and Tiago told me that the loggers came before I was born." Rosie said.
"Yeah we were in danger too. Blu and Banjo were the heroes by saving everyone." Garth said.
"Me and my tribe helped the Blue macaws defeat the loggers. We put aside our differences and save our homes." Holly said.
"That's how the Blue macaws and Scarlet macaws become friends with each other." Garth said.
"That is amazing." Rosie said.
"Yep." Garth said.
After that day, Rosie went outside again to spend time with her friends and cousin. She thanked her parents for helping her be outside again. Garth and Holly spend time together whole Rosie hang out with her cousins and friends. Garth and Holly are very proud of their daughter.
Yay, Rosie is outside again. She is not scared anymore.
