I am learning to draw, it's fun but it really slows you down... I love it.
I wanna explain that I chose this path so that Damien could actually have a chance to survive in this world. Unless you have op powers like Kagome or at just skilled Like Sango, you need something to make it.
Just saying.
It took severe effort to pry himself out of Rin's grasp. "My sweet boy, you must never forget you always have a home here."
Damien laughed. "I know, Rin, I know."
Tobi laughed. "My boy, you have come so far, you WILL become a true force in this world, this era."
"I hope so." They shared one last hug, the three of them, before turning on heel and marching off. "I will keep you in my thoughts, always." And so he was off, into the distance. He stopped at a bridge, just at the boundary of the village. "To the sage in the north, or or Totosai... which is the right choice?" He thought about it long and hard. "I think Totosai is the right choice. I need more time to develop as a person before I go into the path of immortality."
And off he went, to to east, where Totosai's mountain lie.
He made it made maybe six or seven miles out, well into the day, before a massive centipede demon rushed out from the woods, rushing toward him at lighting speeds. He threw out a hand, and a barrier of green magic formed around him. It slammed into him, recoiling with a hiss. Grabbing a spell bag from his pocket, he threw it at the beast. "Yakedo." And the bag burst into green flames that rushed up the beast's body, making it writhe in agony before falling to the side.
Seeing no point in allowing it to suffer, he pulled out his blade and jammed it into it's brain, killing it insantly.
The thing writhed for a moment, before fading into the underworld.
"What are you?" He jumped, turning to see a man in powerful, Demon made armor looking at him, armed with several weapons. Behind him was a collection of others, men and women, looking much the same. They looked like ninjas, at least a bit. The youngest was a girl maybe sixteen, looking at him with a massive boomerang on her back. "That was no spiritual magic, what are you? A demon?" The man's voice held a threat.
Damien sighed. "I am a witch, trained by the Sprites of a goddess. I am of no threat to harmeless humans or demons, only to those who attack me." He tipped his heads, eyes wide as memories returned. "You are the demon slayers, I've read on you. Please, take the Centipede's remains for your armor. Hell, take me back with you. I would love to ally myself with you, learn from you and share my own wisdom."
The man, the head Slayer, smiled. "Earnest, aren't you. How skilled as you with blade?"
"Not as good as I am with magic, but still good enough to be dangerous."
"Fair... camp with us."
The girl behind him hissed. "Father, what if he's a threat?"
The man sighed. "Sango, there are far more of us than him, I am sure we could handle him. I sense his power, but nothing demonic. He will be a good ally to have."
Damien approached. " Sango, I sense you are strong, your human aura is to be feared." She stood tall, smirking ever so slightly. "I would be honored to call you my ally, I am not one of this era of men who denounce powerful women. I hate that sort of behavior."
She bowed softly. "That I can appreciate."
"Now, onto the camp, I am getting tired." And just like that, his path changed to something he never could have expected.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was a lot of fun.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
