Hedgehogs Unleashed Saga Episode 10: Gaia Battle at Eggmanland
Time has passed, and the gang continues riding on the Tornado 1 to get to where the last Gaia Temple is.
Looking at the map, Tails says, "Guys, we're closing in on the last Gaia Temple."
"That's great, Tails," Eve says.
"And according to the map, we're almost at Eggman's Main Base."
"I doubt he'll be happy to see us," Sonic says, "I'd get ready for the welcome parade."
Eve then looks ahead, "Don't look now, Sonic, but it looks like Eggman knows we're here."
Sonic looks ahead to see Eggman's flying robots gather and is blocking their way.
"Guess they won't just let us through," Sonic says.
"Here we go! Transform!" Tails says and presses the button.
And with that, the Tornado 1 transforms into battle mode.
"Wow. This is amazing," Chip says.
"If you think that's amazing, see what it can do," Sonic says, taking the controls.
Eve then takes the other controls and is ready to fire. Tails takes flight as Sonic and Eve use the cannons to fire any of Eggman's robots they come across. Eve looks to see some on her left and fires at them while Sonic fires towards his right. Tails continues holding on to the controls and looks around for any more of Eggman's robots.
"There's so many of them!" Chip says.
"Just hang on, Chip. Things are going to get crazy," Sonic says.
Tails spins the Tornado 1 around as Sonic and Eve fire the cannons. They continue to fly ahead and faster as Sonic and Eve destroy the robots Eggman is controlling. And soon enough, all the robots and flying crafts appear to have been blasted out of the sky.
"Think we got all of them?" Sonic asks.
"Maybe, but keep your eyes out," Tails says.
Chip looks down and notices, "Sonic! Eve! Look!"
Sonic and Eve look down to see again a giant aircraft of Dr. Eggman is lying over and appearing in their view.
"Whoa! Welcome committee's out!" Sonic says.
Suddenly, they hear Eggman's laughter, "Ha ha ha ha! Don't think I'll let you through so easily!"
"You just can't get enough, huh?" Sonic responds.
"I think it's up to something, guys," Eve says.
"I think you're right. You and Sonic need to be careful," Tails says.
Soon, Eggman says, "Go! Fire all weapons!"
And Eggman's aircraft begins to fire. Sonic and Eve fire their weapons at Eggman's weapons and also manage to blast into his machines.
This makes Eggman angry, "Nrrargh! Why you fidgety little…!"
"Keep going!" Sonic calls out.
Sonic and Eve continue firing their weapons at the machine and destroying any of Eggman's robots that come their way. Eggman continues firing his weapons while Sonic and Eve counter. And soon, Eggman's airship is starting to fall out of the sky after taking a lot of damage.
Eggman angrily screams, "Gwaaaugh! Sssoniiiice! Eeevee!"Don't think you've won this!"
"Cool!" Sonic days.
"Let's hurry before Eggman gets back!" Eve says.
"Right! Hang on everyone!" Tails says.
Tails continues flying across the sky and they soon reach what looks like a large city.
Älright guys, this is your stop!" Tails says.
"Let's go!" Sonic says.
"Be careful, Tails!" Eve says.
Soon, the three jump off of the Tornado 1 and free fall as Chip waves and cheers at the same time. All three land on the ground and Chip does a striking pose when he lands. They begin to walk forward down the path to find the Gaia Temple.
Suddenly, they hear Eggman's voice over the speaker, "Oh ho ho ho! Welcome to Eggmanland, the brainchild of my heart and soul!"
Everyone looks ahead to see the sign 'EGGMAN LAND' in neon lights and it appears to have his face. Then a giant golden statue of Dr. Eggman emerges from the ground.
Eggman's voice continues, "This is my magnificent empire, made possible through my genius and the limitless energy harnessed from Dark Gaia!"
Chip is shocked, "Wha-WOAH. This place is CRAZY!" and falls on his back and gets up.
"I'll never understand Eggman's tastes," Sonic says.
"No kidding. I've never seen someone with so much ego in my life," Eve says.
Chip then takes a picture with the camera, "Get a good shot!" and hands Sonic the camera."
Sonic takes a picture of Light Gaia in front of Eggman's statue, striking a pose similar to the one the statue is in, and gives the camera back to Chip while Eve giggles in response.
Eggman's voice continues, "Ahh ha ha ha ha haaa! Surprised? Yes, of course you are! Sonic! If you have any complaints, come deliver them to me in person. If you can, that is! Ahh ha ha ha haa.. ...ha-HACK! Hwaugh, koff! Whew…"
As Eggman talks, Sonic and Eve continue walking down the path and are both flabbergasted with Eggman's taste and ego.
Sonic groans, "He's enjoying this way too much."
"No kidding," Eve says, "I'll never understand this guy.
Suddenly, Chip calls out, "Sonic! Eve!"
The two turn to see Chip on top of the statue and take pictures.
Chip calls out, "I can feel the last temple nearby! He must have built this place on top of it."
"Well, I guess we'll just have to tear it down!" Sonic says.
"Works for me. I like to get back at Eggman for this stupid stunt," Eve says.
"Then let's bulldoze this place," Sonic says.
The two hedgehogs dash off and Chip quickly follows from behind.
They begin running into Eggman's lair and begin traveling through the city, and of course, they end up running into Eggman's robots. They spin, dash, punch, and kick them everytime and make their way through. But suddenly, Sonic changes into his werehog form.
"Sonic, what happened?" Eve asks.
"I don't know, maybe the Gaia Energy is stronger here," Sonic says.
Sonic then notices more of Eggman's robots, "Which means, we can use them."
Sonic howls and lets out a sound wave at Eggman's robots. Eve then uses her Gaia Powers to destroy the robots as well. The three continue on their way with their powers and have to go through different forms of ramps. They continue traveling across Eggman Land, and even ride on roller coasters. Of course, things get crazy when Sonic changes back to his hedgehog form, and they both use their speed to get across the park, and into the inner areas of Eggman's factories.
Through their travels through Eggman land, Sonic ends up switching from his hedgehogs to werehog and vice versa. And during the werehog stage, he and Eve have to fight the Dark Gaia Monsters as well as Eggman's robots, which is a hassle.
Sonic pulls the switch, "I wonder how much longer it will take to get to the temple."
"We just have to keep going," Eve says.
"We're closing in on it, but this land is crazy," Chip says.
"It's Eggman, what do you expect," Sonic says.
The three continue speeding across the area and continue fighting Eggman's robots and Dark Gaia creatures.
They continue to travel deeper and deeper into Eggman land, dodging and fighting Eggman's robots and traps, including the Dark Gaia creatures that appear. The three continue on their fight through the lands, and finally after a long travel and fight, they finally reach to where the entrance to the Gaia Temple
"Look, there it is," Eve says.
"Great. Now we can put an end to it," Sonic days.
They all run inside the temple and through it until they reach the central altar. Chip flies and lands on it, and makes the smaller pedestal appear while his necklace glows. The three friends nod their heads before Sonic places the last Chaos Emerald on the pedestal, the white Chaos Emerald. The Chaos Emerald rises into the air and its power is restored.
"The final Chaos Emerald... Back at last!" Chip happily says.
The three nod their heads in response, and the Gaia Temple starts shaking. Once all that is taking effect, the final fragmented continent with Eggmanland is on, is beginning to move back towards its place on the planet's mantle.
Back outside of Eggmanland's Gaia Temple. The three leave the temple as the gate closes and lock behind them.
Chip happily says, "This should put the world back to normal. Dark Gaia will go back to being sealed within the core, and my work will be done."
"That's great, Chip," Sonic says.
"Yeah. And the world will finally be put back together again," Eve says.
"Yup," Chip says, "Thank you, Sonic! Thank you, Eve! It's all thanks to you."
The three nod and share a happy high-5
The three cheer, "Yeah!"
Meanwhile, flying over Eggmanland in the night, Tails watches over the surface of Eggmanland.
On the videolink is Professor Pickle, talking to Tails.
Professor Pickle says, "Oh... It appears that Sonic and Eve have restored the last of the Chaos Emeralds. Things should settle down around here before long."
"That's right! Satellite footage confirms that the last piece is moving back into place," Tails says.
Over the videolink, Professor Pickle says, "That's wonderful! I'll await your safe return, then. You can give me a full report over a plate of luscious cucumber sandwiches."
"Uh, I'll be happy to fill you in, Professor," Tails says.
Just then, Tornado-1 is suddenly struck by an orange-glowing projectile and spirals through midair, sounding like a dive bomber droning as it descends on its target, while Tails screams.
Back in front of the Gaia Temple in Eggmanland, the place begins to shake, causing everyone to tense up in concern.
"Huh?" The hedgehogs react in shock.
Chip then senses something, "Hmmm? Do you feel that?"
Sonic, Eve, and Chip look around, and suddenly look to hear a loud sound. Just then, something bursts through the roof. When it lands, the three jump back to look to see a giant robot.
The robot is an imposing red machine with design similarities to that of a dragon. Highly detailed, it has a bulky humanoid torso with spiked shoulder guards, several highlights on the front, a smaller platform-like torso inside the main torso. blue prongs on its lower chest, thin arms, two wing units and exhaust pipes on the back. On its left arm it has a long and gigantic drill, and on the right arm it has a six-barreled cannon. Along the cannon's hexagonal carapace, its small barrels can extend outward from the primary mechanism. Its shoulder joints also have a spike protruding from each of them. Also, on the bottom of its upper torso dangles a lower-belly with two smaller cores, the lowest of which has protrusions on the side, and two talon-like feet.
Just then, Dr. Eggman flies down in his Egg Mobile.
He maniacally laughs, "Ahh ha ha haa! Looks like you're a bit too late, Hedgehogs!
Sonic grits his teeth, "Eggman!"
"Thanks to my wondrous technology, Dark Gaia is whole and complete! I harnessed its energy to put together this little creation," Eggman says.
He then points to the robot, "Behold, the ultra-hyper Prototype-1!"
And points to Chip and the two hedgehogs, "Crush them!"
The robot launches an energy wave across the floor with its drill arm, breaking it apart. Sonic, Eve, and Chip fall into the hole in the floor, yelling loudly.
The three continue falling as they yell down the shaft. Sonic then dives forwards and grabs Chip and Eve before jumping and swinging between falling debris. As he slides along the wall, Sonic swings off it and lands on a stable falling platform with Chip. Chip groans in weariness before the Egg Dragoon and Dr. Eggman in his Egg Mobile appears.
Eggman mancially laughs, "Ohh ho ho ho ho! This gorge will be your tomb!" and joins the Egg Mobile with the robot, "Hehehahaha!"
Sonic then put Eve and Chip down.
Soon, the robot sprouts wings and takes flight.
"Even YOU won't last long against THIS ONE!" Eggman says.
Sonic soon notices "That lift-up part on the bottom looks fishy. I'll try aiming for that."
Sonic then punches it, and it causes damage.
"Looks like that's it's weak spot," Eve says and throws punches at it as well.
"You little pests!" Eggman angrily says.
He then aims the cannons, "How about this!" and fires it, "FIRE!"
And fire it at Sonic and Eve. The two hedgehogs dodge and they manage to hit the robot's weak spot. Eggman then creates an orange electrical circle to shock then, but both hedgehogs dodge and Sonic throws a hard punch at it, and a few others. Eggman sends other robots at them, but they use their powers to attack and give Sonic time to throw the punch. That cause damage to the robot.
Eggman panics, "N-No! The controls won't respond!"
That gives Sonic and Eve the chance to each grab the robot's legs. Eggman tries to shake them off, but they refuse to let go. That makes them both jump onto the weak spot.
Eggman is mad and raises the robot's drill, "Rraagh! Out of my sight!"
He fires the drill that acts as a missile and heads towards the two hedgehogs. Sonic and Eve dodge and have the missile hit the weak spot.
"Waugh?!" Eggman screams and cries out, "Nuooo!"
Sonic jumps and grabs on to Eggman's side generators and begins pulling.
Eggman panics, "H-Hey! Wai-! Stop! No! Th-This is a delicate machiiiine!"
However, Sonic doesn't listen and pushes himself back, in order to strike at the weak spot on the robot. He then shakes it with all his might and breaks the two parts of Eggman's robot off. That has Sonic and Eve jump off the robot.
Of course, this makes Eggman mad, "Wha-?! Now look what you've done!"
And then Eggman comes back, and he is mad," Blast you, hedgehogs!"
Eggman then raises its arm up, "Lets see you hedgehogs try this!"
And fires the missile drill up. Then it dives back down and strikes at the platform as the group moves out of the way, and it's causing it to break.
Chip cries out, "Uwawawaaagh! The ground's b-b-breaking up!"
Soon, the platform shatters and the three end up going into free fall. Eggman's robot then flies down and begins shooting at them. The three dodge, despite their free fall.
Sonic "G-Geez, Eggman! Simmer down!"
"I don't think he plans on simmering down!" Eve panics.
Everyone continues falling until Eggman crashes through the floor, and causes everyone to fall into what seems like they're underground.
Eggman shouts, "Wing units, deploy!"
And with that, Eggman's robots sprout wings.
Then they both land on a floating stone floor as Eggman is airborne.
"You were lucky, hedgehogs! But luck can't last forever!" Eggman says.
Eggman then fires blue energy balls to attack them, but they dodge. Sonic aims for the weak spot as Eve uses her powers to keep then busy. Eggman then fires his machine cannon and tries to attack the two hedgehogs. Seeing his chance, Sonic, and Eve then aim for its weak spot and continue attacking it.
Eggman fires, "Bombs away!" and fires blue energy.
Sonic and Eve continue attacking Eggman's robots and continue hitting the weak spot. Eggman fires the drill missile and breaks apart the rock platform, causing them to free fall.
Eggman laughs, "Heh heh heh! Here's one for the road, hedgehogs!" And fires his attacks.
Sonic and Eve dodge the attack and soon land on another platform.
Chip is relieved, "AAAaaah… Whew! Glad we landed okay!"
"Yeah, but Eggman is still attacking us!" Eve says.
The gang dodge the attacks, and Sonic and Eve try to attack Eggman from the weak spot.
"This is getting way out of control," Sonic says.
"No Kidding," Sonic says.
Sonic and Eve mananges to escape the robots and continue hitting the weak spot until Eggman is having trouble with his machine.
Eggman tries to move the controls, but can't, "Nnrgh! Lost control AGAIN! Don't fall apart on me again!"
Seeing their chance, Sonic and Eve charge and jump on the robot. Eggman tries to shake them off, but makes sure to use Eggman's drill against him again. They dodge and climb up to the cockpit.
Eggman panics, "S-Stay baaaack!"
Sonic and Eve turn to each other and nod as each of them energizes their fists. Sonic dark purple and Eve light green.
Sonic throws the first punch, making Eggman scream, "Gwaugh!"
Then Eve throws the next punch, making Eggman scream, "Eeeek!"
They both jump up and both land a double punch, making Eggman scream, "Gaaah!"
Sonic throws another punch. Eve then throws another.
Sonic then uses his eleatic arms and hands to grab the Egg Mobile and picks it up.
Ëggman panics, "What?!"
Then Sonic swings it around as Eggman screams, "N-N-No, dooon't!"
Sonic then passes it to Eve with his arms still on it. Eve pulls it back and makes her let go. Then Eggman is launched like a slingshot.
Eggman screams, "Waaaaaaah!"
Sonic and Eve then land on the platform as the robot goes down.
Eggman is able to regain himself on his Egg Mobile.
He cries and curses in defeat, "How could I lose?! This isn't over!" and hammers the panel, "I'll build a Prototype-2 and it…"
Suddenly, they hear a loud scream, and tentacles burst out from the magma Everyone turns to see a monstrous creature rising.
Sonic says in shock, "Wha?!"
Eve gasps in shock.
"Whoa!" Chip adds.
The creature continues to rise.
"What?" Sonic responds.
"Is that?" Eve asks, stunned.
"It's Dark Gaia!" Chip says.
Indeed, the monster is really the Dark Gaia, opposite of Chip. The Dark Gaia has brown skin with his lower body and torso resembling that of a snake's, two thin arms with long neon-blue claws, and scaly shoulders. His head is very wide, much wider than his main body and is mostly composed of his jagged mouth. His central face looks like that of a reptile's, with four small horns on the top of his head, white eyes, and one large green eye on the middle of his forehead. On his back, Dark Gaia has seven purple flaming energy tentacles sticking out from him, and neon blue scaly fins that run from his lower back up to his head. He also possesses 'hair' in the form of purple energy that emits from his head and back, giving it the appearance of a mohawk.
The Dark Gaia stands up as everyone looks at it as it screams at them.
Eggman cheers in triumphant, "Yes, YES! Dark Gaia! Crush this insolent little hedgehog! Kick him to the outer limits of space!" But suddenly notices something, "Hmm?"
Dr. Eggman barely has time to see Dark Gaia sending a tentacle his way before Dark Gaia knocks Dr. Eggman and his Egg Mobile into the horizon.
Eggman screams, "Why meeeeeee?!" and disappears in a glint.
Once Eggman is gone, the Dark Gaia try to attack Sonic, Eve and Chip. Sonic grabs Chip as he and Eve dodge them. They soon look at Dark Gaia as it glares back. Suddenly, Sonic begins to fall, stunned to the ground. Light Gaia flaunts his fist when he and Eve notice Sonic scrambling on the ground.
"Sonic!" Eve cries out.
Chip asks, "What's wrong?"
"Are you okay?!" Eve asks.
Sonic suddenly tenses up and groans before screaming as dark energy is pulled out of him. Dark Gaia absorbs the energy and opens its three additional green eyes as it screams.
Chip shudders in fear and turns to Sonic who has reverted back to his original self.
Chip cries out, "Sonic, you've got to get up! Sonic!"
"Sonic, say something!" Eve panics.
Sonic mananges to say, "Chip. Eve. R-run! R-run, guys!"
"But Sonic!" Eve says, worried.
Chip becomes worried, but then faces Dark Gaia with a determined and furious expression. Dark Gaia attacks with its tentacles.
"Chip!" Eve cries out and stands in front of him to protect him.
But then, Chip surrounds himself and the two hedgehogs in a green orb, protecting them and raising them into the air.
Eve soon turns to see Chip, glowing.
"Chip?" Eve asks.
"Eve, it's time," Chip says.
Eve sees the determination in Chip's eyes.
Eve nods her head, and with her own freewill, relinquishes the Light Gaia Energy back to Chip, which absorbs into his pendant.
Chip then calls out, "7 lights of the Earth rekindled!"
Back in the Spagonia's Gaia Temple, the blue Chaos Emerald is floating in the Gaia Temple when it suddenly starts glowing brightly.
At Shamar, the Gaia Temple is being enveloped in a dome of light that then releases a column of light into the sky.
The entire village of Adabat is shaking and Teancahi, Kaeo, Rudi, Jamal, Nagi stand in wonder and surprise.
Teanchi says shocked, "What?"
Kaeo asks, "What's happening?!"
In Chun-nan, the local Gaia Temple is rising from the ground and Chun, Yilin, Hualin and Zonshen are seeing it happen from their village while gasping in shock and amazement.
"Wow! That's just incredible!" Zonshen says.
Soon, the Gaia Temples all over the world are beginning to rise.
In Shamar, the Gaia Temple is floating in the sky and Latif, Sammar, and Hizir are looking at it]
Latif points at the temple and cries out, "The Temple!"
Shamar's Gaia Temple disappears in a flash and Latif, Hizir, and Sammar cover their eyes to shield them from the flash.
All over, the 7 lights are heading towards the hole in the planet's crust where Eggmanland's continent is heading.
Still inside the core, Chip is flying while surrounded by a green light.
Chip calls out, "Awaken, and gather here to me!"
The Light Gaia sphere glows bright and flies away while the Gaia Temples come together to form a being made of stone and green eyes, made from the Gaia Temples. Chip has become Gaia Colossus which comes to life.
