Welcome back to Elemental Crisis Book III. Last time, Myriad revealed her origin, and the unexpected reveal of who's really piloting the body of her world's Alex Danvers, the first Coluan Supergirl encountered, Brainiac 8, better known as Indigo. With her reveal made, Myriad made ready to challenge Supergirl, Spyro, and Flash. We've got three fights set up, so lets not delay them any longer. Here we go!

(Our scene resumes just as we left it, with Myriad about to face down Spyro, Supergirl, and Flash.)

Flash: Please tell me somebody's got a plan...

Supergirl: Honestly Barry, I was hoping you did.

Spyro: I've got one. That shield will drain your Elemental energies while it'll go for my life force directly since I don't have any. If you can keep the shield off of me, I can probably get it off of her.

Supergirl: (To Flash) Barry, if you can handle the Kryptonite...

Flash: Getting rid of the Dark Gems should be easy.

Spyro: Sounds like we've got something. Let's do this.

(With that, the battle begins. Flash starts zipping around Myriad trying to draw her attention away from him before grabbing her arm with the Kryptonite Sword. And sure enough it seems to work, with Flash laying on a burst of Fire to force Myriad to drop the sword, which Flash kicks out of the way, giving Supergirl time to fly in and hit Myriad in the gut enough to drop the shield before kicking it away)

Supergirl: She's all yours, Spyro!

Flash: Strike quickly, I don't know how long we can hold her!

(Spyro nods and starts running at Myriad, who only chuckles in response to what they're doing.)

Myriad: Did you really think the shield was my only source of Dark Gems? You've clearly forgotten what I'm capable of Kara Zor-El.

(Using the system that is Myriad and her Coluan mind's computer interfacing abilities, Myriad activates a system build into her suit, turning the Brainiac symbol the same shade as the Dark Gem shield before unleashing a massive cloud-like pulse field, knocking Supergirl and Flash off of her, and leaving them with immense pain while Spyro stops short of getting hit himself. )

Flash: What the heck is burning?!

Supergirl: What was that, a Dark Gem mist?!

Myriad: (Chuckles) Perhaps you're not as stupid as you look, Kara Zor-El. (Picks up her Kryptonite Sword and Dark Gem Shield) Two down, one to go.

(Spyro sees the threat he's rushing into and hits the air to fly around Myriad's sword swipes, but he's feeling the effects of the Dark Gem Shield, as he's starting to lose his strength in the air)

Myriad: Getting tired already, Spyro? I have to wonder how you beat Lord Malefor if this is tuckering you out.

(Soon enough, Spyro doesn't have the strength to stay in the air for much longer and actually lands, allowing Myriad to deliver a nasty slash across his chest. Not deep enough to cause major damage, but enough to weaken the already weakened Purple Dragon.)

Myriad: Did you three really think I hadn't worked out your plans? I've got all of humanity's mental power in my system right now. Nothing you could do could beat me.

Supergirl: (Steeling her resolve) Perhaps this will.

(Getting back to her feet despite the Dark Gems still effecting her, and the Kryptonite now doing the same thing, Supergirl starts swinging, focusing on her immense Kryptonian Strength. But the double weakening items slowly take their toll and soon Supergirl is out cold.)

Myriad: I didn't think so. (Activates her comm system) Luthor, prepare the exit. The Kryptonian girl is done for.

(And with that, Myriad prepares a set of metallic dots, two pairs per person which, when activated, bind Spyro, Flash, and Supergirl in some kind of laser restraints)

Myriad: That should stop you from fighting back. At least until what we need to do is done.

(And on that ominous note, as Myriad overlooks her field of battle, our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to wrap up for now. Believe it or not, my plan was not to split the three fight scenes into three separate chapters, at least not initially. But I'm a little behind on my editing right now due to personal reasons and I need to get myself back up to par. So this'll help with that. And I also had trouble placing some little details, but I think I've got them now, so things should flow a little bit smoother as we hit the end of the story. I can't say how much longer this one has, but don't expect Book III to last long into 2025. It'll end sometime in that year, but I wouldn't speculate very far into it. Anyways, we've got two more battles to set up. So who's next to fight? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
