Erik went to see Christine and Gustave. "Can you forgive me for my outburst earlier," Erik said to Gustave.
"Sure," Gustave said.
Erik gave Christine her fake wedding ring back, which she put on. Erik spotted some sheet music. "Do you still sing," he asked Christine.
In response, Christine sang "Think of Me."
"You should be on stage," Erik said once she was done. "Not the prima donnas."
"Monsieur André and Monsieur Firmin say that I am too old," Christine said in response.
"They're idiots," Erik replied.
"I'm ready to be a family with Erik again," Gustave said confidently.
Later…
Erik enjoyed bonding with Christine and Gustave. "Take off your mask," Gustave suggested.
Against his pre-learned instincts, Erik slowly took off his mask. To Erik's shock, Gustave did not appear horrified.
"You're not ugly, Erik," Gustave said before he bid Erik good night.
