Chapter 12: Braving the storm
The group continued forward on there way through a terrible snowstorm as Loona and Collin struggled to keep going and help Stolizo, Oliver and the pups "93,94,95,96,97,98…" counted Loona as she wanted to make sure that they were all there as she looked back and saw poor Tilla shivering in the snow as she walked over "Tilla come on now we cant give up now" she said "But mama I'm hungry and tired" she said shivering as Loona gently picked her up to get back to the others "My nose is froze and so is my tail and everything else! Brrr!" She said as Loona had to agree with Tilla, unless everyone got to shelter soon…however a yell of "Over here came out of no where interrupting the mothers train of thought as she looked up and saw a centar like humanoid sinner named Applejack holding a flashlight bundled up "Are you Loona and Collin and theese are your pups?" She asked "Not all of them but Martha stole and got them from shelters" said Loona "Poor things, come on we got shelter for you at the dairy barn across the road and me and the help will provide a warm meal for you all" said Applejack "Thank you" said Loona giving her Tilla who was weak from the cold as she ran ahead of Collin and the others.
"Collin! Collin this way to the dairy barn across the road!" Said Loona "Oh thank god, come on now children this way" he said as the little ones who were fighting the snow turned around to follow Collin to the direction of the dairy barn, anything to get out of the storm "Come on its not far come on this way follow the centar" said Loona. It took a bit but soon everyone made it through the storm to the dairy/fruit farm that Applejack took them to. They were cold and hungry but they were all safe and sound
Applejacks husband a fellow Centar sinner named Caramel came in along with his brother in law and sister in Law Big Mac and Sugar Belle who saw the group "Awww look Big Mac have you ever seen so many pups?" Said Sugar Belle "Eyup" "Poor things, this must be what Spike told us about" said Caramel as he noticed how tired and almost frozen they are, especially poor Tilla who almost froze to death in the storm "Loona are they all here?" Asked Collin wanting to male sure no one was left behind "You got it all 99 are all accounted for" said Loona happy to see the pups, Stolizo and Oliver were here warm and ok "*Applejack bringing some hot cider* the famous Loona and Collin we've heard all about you we were afraid you'd been captured" she said as she and her family started to make and bring hot food and apples and milk from the dairy barn to feed the pups "How did you all make it here in this nasty weather?" Said Caramel amazed that the parents and the pups survived as Marry winned "Papa I'm hungry really hungry!" She said "I'm hungry too" said Gabriel as he and the others winned in hunger the same with the other pups as well "Easy now all of you, me and my family will whip you up some hot oatmeal and apples and milk now come on serve up" she said as the apple family served out a meal for the pups who were grateful for the meal as well as Loona and her family "Thanks Mis Applejack we really appreciate this" said Stolizo "Same here" said Oliver as they dug in as hungry as the pups "The food is not much but it will hold you s far as Little Pridford" said Applejack
"Prideford?" Asked Loona "A owl goitia named Eda and her husband and mate a ogre sinner named Stanley and a non binary fox hellhound named Rain live there they run a store so they should be able to help you" said Applejack "Good *Yawns* sorry we if are any trouble" said Loona sleepy "No trouble at all its ok, now eat up all of you and get some rest, I'll call Eda and tell her what is going on you have a long day ahead of you, I'll start with standing watch" she said as Loona and Colin smelled happy that there family and the pups were safe as they watched them cuddle into a pile to keep warm and sleep as Stolizo and Oliver did the same enjoying the warmth of togetherness that there parents joined as well, its gonna be a long journey to there destination to get home.
Authors note: well the family got to a safe spot and a good meal but now they need to find a way to get back to pride but thankfully allies are there to help
Next chapter is the climax as Loona and Collin using a little soot and illusion magic disguised by Eda to pretend to be common black Labrador hellhounds and sneak into Stans delivery truck heading to Pride but the evil Martha and Burnie and Emberlyn are on the stalking spy looking for the group.
