Author's note: this story is about NYC Zan and Tess, before Tess met the Roswell crew, instead of killing Zan, they killed Ava from their group. Tess POV
The busy streets of NYC were crowded. Tess watched as the traffic slowly began to move again. They were stuck in traffic for 45 minutes now and Tess wondered if Nasado would make it on time to the meeting. Tess was sure they would wait for them even if they were late. They were meeting the NYC pod aliens and a few leaders that Nasado was in contact with, to go over some plans for their future.
When they arrived, they were 5 minutes late and after taking their seats Tess say they were waiting for one more person. When the man came into the room, he closed the door behind him, then said they should start the meeting. The meeting was about the planets and what Zan's cooperation would do to help further advancement on Antar, their home planet. The lady suggested that the NYC pod group move into a apartment that was close by a informant that was in contact with the political leaders. Since there Ava was dead, they asked Nasado if Tess would like to stay with NYC pod group. Tess and Nasado and already discussed It and she had agreed. She had also found out that Ava was killed in a accident on the streets, and she wanted to be careful while she was there.
After the meeting, Nasado led Tess outside to their car. They were heading to the new apartment that was next to a subway station. After driving through the traffic to get there, they arrived at a apartment building. It had 6 units, one on each floor, and they would be on the third floor. Tess followed Nasado up the stairs, there was a small elevator, but it was being fixed. The apartment was nice, it had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and a small dining room. Tess would be sharing a room with Zan, and Rath, and Lonnie would share the other room. The NYC group arrived shortly after they did, they took the tour and said it would be fine. Nasado told Tess he would bring her stuff by the next day, she had brought a small bag of essentials with her, so she said that would be good. The one leader and Nasado talked about a 6 month check on how prepared the group became after there experimental life. They had nothing but their own memory's to guide them on the journey. The four of them would go through their past lifetime memory's, to find out more about their lives on Antar.
It was just the four of them in the apartment, the three of them sat on the couch them turned on the television. Tess went through her and Zan's bedroom to use the bathroom. Both bedrooms had their own bathroom, and they also had two beds each. When Tess went back into the living room, Zan looked up and said that he didn't get a chance introduce himself, after he introduced the three of them, Tess did the same. Zan then mentioned that Tess would get use to the city noise, and she looked like she hadn't heard it in a while. Tess said that she usually settles in a new place quickly and she should be good with it. They then turned there attention to the television, and the car race that was taking place. Tess thought that it shouldn't take long for their experiment to bring them closer to Antar.
