Summary Start!

My greatest enjoyment as an author is this, when I don't have to follow a canon storyline or bother trying to keep things within the confines of "Oh, this happened in the timeline" and I get to be creative. That is why my favorite stories to work on are stories where I just get to say "fuck it, we ball" and do what I want within reason.

It's the reason my Naruto x Mario stories lost my interest in the past, because I tried to stick too close to the Mario games, which RUINED my enthusiasm for the stories. This is why, for this story, I'm going to go complete Alternate Universe route with no established canon timeline of events to follow.

No Ninja, but ALL of the Ninja characters.

Here is a Brief Example of how this Fusion AU will work.

Brief History: The next generation of the Royal Family is given a trial every few generations to see if they are still worthy of leading the Kingdom. The Fire Leaf Kingdom was founded by Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, and Hashirama was made King in Trial by combat. He passed down the title of King to his brother due to none of his heirs wanting the title.

The 2nd King had no heir, so the granddaughter of the 1st King was given a trial, but due to her being drunk at the time, she failed the trial and the Senju family was forced to hand over their royal status to a different family.

The 2nd King then handed over the throne to a young scholar, Hiruzen Sarutobi, who ruled over the Kingdom for several generations and established strong trade relations with the Mushroom Kingdom. As the Royal Trials came up, his son was selected to take the trial, but refused. Thus, the 3rd King was forced to pass the throne to a different worthy successor.

The 4th King, Minato Namikaze, was selected after his outstanding performance as a general and his high status after marrying one of the surviving members of the now destroyed Whirlpool Kingdom.

Brief History: An uncivilized kingdom who worship a villainous spirit that watches over the desert that they inhabit. In a trade war with the Fire Leaf Kingdom due to the fact that many smaller kingdoms that border both kingdoms prefer to trade with the Fire Leaf Kingdom. The Title of Chief is given to anyone who can prove themselves in battle against the current chief.

Not much is known about their history.

My plan is to fuse the concepts of the Mario Universe and the Naruto Universe together into one, where I don't have to follow the timelines of either series strictly. You will have stuff like Warp Pipes, but only a few kingdoms will have them, and they can only be used within the kingdom they are tied to.

Power-up Mushrooms will exist, and so will Mario style magic will replace chakra, but the secrets of magic will be kept secret from many, so most common people will not have access to the tools needed to study magic.

Examples: Minato, as a former general and current king, will have had the chance to study magic. Only approved magic can be studied, and only those who prove themselves trustworthy make study it.

100 Mushroom Kingdom coins = 50 Spiral Leaf coins, the local currency of the Fire Leaf Kingdom.

Of course, because I like Bowsette, gotta find a funny way to include her into the story as well.

Finally, I have most of what I want to do with the story worked out in my head, but since I really want to have fun with this story, I'm going to make this first chapter a chance for everyone to leave reviews with suggestions for stuff they would love to see in the story. Concepts they think would work very well.

Like "I would love to see Kurama as the Elder Magician who taught Mito Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki, and now Naruto Uzumaki how to use a special magic"

Or "I think it would be funny if Bowser and Naruto were friends, and he turned himself into a humanoid woman because he was jealous over how close Naruto and Peach were getting to each other"

I'm open to most suggestions for this.

Leave suggestions in the reviews, but don't just make your suggestion something like "Make it a harem and include all of these characters" and just list a dozen female characters. I hate that, and I think it shows you're only reading the story so you can see the main character getting with tons of female characters. It's annoying, like when people constantly leave reviews asking about when there are going to be "lemons" in the story.

If you have a suggestion for a pairing, you can post it provided you give well thought out reasons why you think it could work.

Do not send me a PM with your request, if you can't post it in the Reviews, then you don't think your idea is good enough for the story. That alone shows me that you don't have confidence in what you are suggesting, and if you don't have confidence, then I have no confidence in it either. If you can't own up to your idea, I won't even consider it for the story.

Okay, this first chapter is pretty much just introducing you all to the basic summary of what I want the summary to be about, since the summary section for new stories isn't large enough to cover all of this stuff.
