It's a Monday morning at Elmore Junior High. And it's also finally here. The Exam day, for Gumball, for Darwin, and for everyone in their class! Gumball enters the school as usual. He looks a little tired but he seems pretty happy from all the studying he had yesterday with Anais, which make him feel more confident about the exam today! He walked around in the hallway as he looked around, searching for Darwin.

After a while, Gumball saw Darwin's going to the classroom as his face lighted up. He immediately went to approach his adopted brother as he called out to him.

Gumball: "Darwin!"

Darwin looked back and saw Gumball's approaching him as he greets.

Darwin: "Oh hey dude!"

Gumball finally approached Darwin and nods his head in greeting.

Gumball: "What's up, man? Are you ready for the exam today?"

Darwin: "Well, to be honest, I'm a little bit nervous about it. What about you?"

Gumball chuckled a bit as he crossed his arms slightly.

Gumball: "Well, normally I would be nervous, but I think I'm actually pretty prepared this time! I actually took my studying seriously for once! And on top of that, it was Anais who'd actually helped me study a lot yesterday. So I honestly think I can do pretty well today..."

Darwin: "Woah, dude! Anais helped you studied yesterday?"

Gumball: *nods and smiles* "Yeah, I never thought that she would actually want to help me with my studying, but when she saw that I was struggling a bit with it, she'd actually offered to help me out! And thanks to her help, I was actually be able to understand the lesson very well! Plus I also managed to not slacking off at all! I even surprised myself with how well I was doing".

Darwin: "Oh, well then, since Anais had helped you yesterday, then I'm pretty sure you'll do very well in this exam, Gumball."

Gumball nodded slowly as he smiled proudly.

Gumball: "Yeah, I hope so. I'm pretty confident that I would get a good grade today. I will try my best to not let Anais and Mom down!"

Just then, the school bell rang as Darwin speaks out.

Darwin: "Oh! It's time for class!"

Gumball looked surprised when the bell rang and nodded.

Gumball: "Yeah, we should head to class now. Let's go, Darwin!"

Then they started heading to their classroom. Soon after, Gumball and Darwin have arrived at their class. They entered the class as they took their seats. Gumball looks around at his classmates, noticing that many of them looks quite anxious about the exam. He then looked at Miss Simian, who's already present on the teacher's desk as she started stating the exam rules.

Mrs. Simian: "Alright, settle down, class! I hope you're all studied well for the exam today! Because this exam will take 50% of the whole semester's score! So be careful!"

The whole class groaned in anxiety. Gumball's eyes widen a bit when he heard that the exam result will take up 50 percent of the semester's score! But then he took a deep breath to calm himself down. He has already studied well for the exam, so he can't panic right before it takes place!

Mrs. Simian: "And if I've ever caught any of you cheating, then you'll get a straight F and get disqualified from the exam! Am I made myself clear?"

The whole class nodded their heads in agreement. Some of the students looks even more anxious right now as they thought about the pressure of this exam and not getting caught cheating. Gumball remains silent, he's a bit nervous too but he's trying his best to keep his composure.

Mrs. Simian: "Good! Does anyone have any questions?"

All of the students remains silent. No one said anything at all since they're all nervous about the exam. Gumball looks around at his classmates again, he looks worried but keep himself calm right now. After all, he already had studied for this exam really well with the help of his little sister Anais!

Mrs. Simian: "Good! Now I'll hand to you all the exam papers."

As Miss Simian started to hand them the exam papers, most of the students looks nervous as they're waiting for the exam paper to be handed to them. Gumball's nervous too but he looks a bit more calmer than his classmates as he's thinking about his study session with Anais yesterday and wondering what will his results be this time. After a few seconds, the papers are passed around the entire classroom.

Mrs. Simian: "Alright! You may now begin! Remember, you all have 1 hour!"

As soon as their teacher tell them to start, everyone started taking their test. The only sounds in the room right now are the pencils writing on the paper. Gumball also started writing on his test. He's slightly nervous but this time, he's much more confident compared to his previous tests. He's thinking to himself.

"Calm down, Gumball. You've studied for the test, remember? You will do just fine. Just relax and be focus..."

Half an hour passed and Gumball's doing very good so far! He managed to answer most of the questions, he even managed to answer some of the hardest questions as well! Gumball's quite sure of his answers but he still has to double-check his paper for a while to make sure that they're all correct. He glance around, noticing that most of his classmates are currently struggling to answer the questions as they looks very exhausted from answering their tests so far!

Gumball thought about his study session with Anais yesterday again. He remembered how he'd struggled when he was studying alone and how his genius little sister managed to help him understand the lessons! Thanks to her, he was able to understand all the topics that he'd struggled with! He chuckled softly as he thought to himself.

"Man, I'm glad that I accepted Anais's offer to study with her yesterday. I'm very lucky to have such a smart and helpful little sister like her..."

And finally, Gumball managed to finish his test. He smiled to himself as he's confident that he get most of the answers right and there's still 5 minutes left to spare! He looked at his classmates and saw that most of them are still struggling on their tests. Some of them looked very anxious and stressed from the pressure of it! Gumball smiles as he leaned back on his chair, thinking to himself.

"Heh, I can't believe that I actually did pretty well today! Guess all the studying yesterday really paid off..."

And finally, the bell rings as the 1 hour time period for taking the exam had ended before Miss Simian yelled.

Mrs. Simian: "Time's out! Anyone's still writing get detention!"

All of the students looked up from their papers as they heard their teacher yelled. Most of them have already put their pencils down and stopped a while ago, but there were a few students who's still continue to write as soon as Miss Simian yelled. They put their pencils down and quickly submit their papers, looking quite exhausted after the exam. Gumball looks around at his classmates, he seems to be one of the few students who's already finished answering his test paper before the time ran out!

After Miss Simian has collected all the exam papers, she looked at her students and spoke.

Mrs. Simian: "Now you all can have break times."

As the teacher finished talking, the whole class get up from their seats. All of them looks pretty tired and exhausted from the exam they just took. Some of the students looks very worried that they might have failed or get a bad grade, while the others looks happy that they did well. Gumball, on the other hand, stretches his body a bit as he let out a happy sigh. He looked pretty satisfied with his performance on the exam and he's quite confident that he will get a good grade today!

The scene is now moved to the canteen where Gumball and Darwin were seated at their usual table, enjoying their lunch. Gumball still looks quite satisfied as he took a bite of his lunch, thinking about the exam earlier and he seems pretty confident about his efforts on it! Darwin notices Gumball's satisfaction as he asks.

Darwin: "So how did you do in the test, Gumball?"

Gumball stopped eating for a while as he responds to Darwin.

Gumball: "Well, I did great actually! I managed to answer almost all of the questions and I even answered some of the hardest ones too! So I'm very confident that I will get a good score today! And I'm very glad that I accepted Anais's offer to help me studied yesterday, I wouldn't be able to make it if it wasn't for her help. How about you, dude?"

Darwin responds with a sigh.

Darwin: "Well, not gonna lie, I'd struggled quite a bit on it, dude. But overall, I did good I guess..."

Gumball listened carefully to Darwin's response. He felt bad when he heard that his adoptive brother struggled with his test. Gumball then patted Darwin on the shoulder.

Gumball: "Hey, don't you worry about it, dude. I'm pretty sure you did well, too. You're also a smart guy, after all! Even if you struggled, I'm sure you did great either way".

Darwin: "Really? Do you believe in me?"

Gumball: *smiled and nodded* "Of course I do! You're my adopted brother and my best friends after all! So I believed that you're smart and I know that you are. Of course I believe in you, dude!"

Darwin smiles as he hugged Gumball.

Darwin: "Thanks dude! You're the best!"

Gumball also hugged his adoptive brother and best friend back as he let out a warm smile on him.

Gumball: "Heh, no problem, dude. You're my best buddy ever! And we're always gonna stick together, no matter what happens, am I right?"

Darwin: "Yeah!"

They both hugging each others for a while before they pulled away from each others as Darwin spoke.

Darwin: "Anyways, I heard that the test results will be available right this afternoon, Gumball."

Gumball nodded as he's listening to Darwin's statement.

Gumball: "Yep, I also knew that as well! I honestly can't wait to see my score for the test. Sure I'm very confident that I will do great, but I really want to see my actual score this time! How about you? Are you excited too?"

Darwin: "Well, I'm a little bit nervous about it. But I think I'm ready to face it."

Gumball patted Darwin on the shoulder as he speaks.

Gumball: "Aww, don't worry, dude. I'm sure you did well in the test. Have some confidence, dude! You're gonna do great after all!"

Darwin: *smiles* "Thanks dude."

Gumball: *smiled softly* "No problem, man. Just wait and see, you will get a good grade on this test, I believe it!"

Darwin: "Yeah... Anyways, let's finish our lunch before discovering our exam grades, shall we?"

Gumball: *nodded in agreement* "Yeah, sure! Let's finish our lunch, for now, and wait until the results are out. I'm getting excited just thinking about it already!"

Then both of them go back to eat their lunch. They couldn't stop thinking about how will their exam results gonna be this afternoon. Gumball was confident that he has done well and will get a good grade on this exam thanks to his study session with Anais yesterday. On the other hand, Darwin seems to be more nervous since he'd struggled a bit on his test. But Gumball reassured him that he'll also get a decent grade even if he struggled, and promised him that he'll always stick with him no matter what!
