Wildfire
Solitude.
Jellal Fernandez was not unaccustomed to it.
Drip, drip, drip.
The thing about this particular solitude was the lack of distraction. Time was a man of many thoughts, deep thinks, and patience. However, these past fifty years had been the longest of his life. It had dulled his mind and mangled his patience. He'd so desperately sought out the mother of this world, praying that she might fix a problem that he'd worsened simply by leaving to seek her out.
Drip, drip, drip.
Time. Round and round the clock he goes.
So many creatures, in endless realities, eternally say the same damning facts. Time is fickle. Time is relentless.
Time is without mercy.
Exactly who was he to change the natural order of his own existence? All these years... wasted trying to fix something that refused to see that it was cracked.
Love had changed him.
...How fitting that it would now crush him.
MUST THAT INFERNAL WATER KEEP FALLING?
Drip, drip, drip.
Drip, drip, drip.
Drip, drip, drip.
Drip... dripdrip.
Drip... dripdrip.
Was he going mad, or was the water no longer keeping the proper time?
o.o;;
"Aww, what the hell is this..." Natsu narrowed his eyes at a sudden fog lifting up from the ground and swirling about them. Tightening his grip on his blushing bride, he sidestepped away, grimacing when the mist followed.
"Natsu? Uh... what is that?" Lucy felt helpless, hunched over his shoulderâbut at the same time glad her bare feet wasn't touching the mysterious fog.
"Damnit," The Hatter growled as the mysterious fog grew thick all around them. He jumped up into the tree branches, but the mist had already reached there too.
"I, I can't see anything!" Lucy panicked, struggling against the dragon holding her.
"Hey! Ack!" Natsu cried as her foot found his face, sending them both tumbling out of the tree.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
SPLOOOOOOOOOSH!
What...? The two of them landed in deep, warm water. Where had it come from? Lucy struggled to find which way was up before swimming back to the surface. The two of them burst through as one and Lucy yelled out, "What's going on!"
"Smells like... jasmine?" Natsu sniffed about.
"Wait..." The star maiden turned about as recognition dawned on her. "I know this place..." She started to swim toward the shallows, "Yes! This is the same place Cana and I..." Lucy's voice trailed off, recalling how the Cheshire Cat had asked if she could sleep with Natsu.
âŚ
âŚ.
That sneaky little imp! Had Lucy been the victim of reverse psychology? ...Considering that the cat had been the one to marry them... need she even ask? Her thought process was interrupted by her new husband's outburst.
"Really Ches?! The Cheshire Forest?" Natsu's outburst echoed throughout the trees, yet those echoes sounded distorted, as though his own words were laughing them back at him.
Lucy narrowed her eyes at what looked like a flash of something eerily white dashing between branches.
Natsu was grumbling something about dumb cats as he trudged out of the water and removed his soaked coat and examined his hat. Lucy's eyes lowered from the canopy down at him and an unconscious smile grew. Even though his attitude was disconsolate, he still managed to pull her heart strings. Her admiration of him was harshly interrupted, though, for her gaze darted to the side when she saw the same bright flash again out of the corner of her eye, "Huh?"
Then it stopped, right above her. A strange little monkey... fox-type creature? It looked ethereal. "A spirit...?"
The creature softly repeated what she'd asked, and dropped a slip of paper. Lucy caught the paper and watched it scurry off. "Thank you..." She raised a brow at the thing's quiet retreat, then examined the paper.
"What's that?" Natsu asked, directly behind her. Lucy screamed and decked him right in the face, sending him under the water.
"Oh gods! Natsu I'm so sorry!" She quickly pulled his head above the surface. The fact that he was laughing erased her remorse however, and she dropped him again, leaving him to pick himself up as she read the note. It was in Cana's swirly penmanship.
Figured you two might want somewhere secluded.
Meals served in the tree house.
Happy honeymoon!
~Cana, the Cheshire Cat~
Lucy smiled, Cana must be happy for them if she was allowing them use of her spring. Gagging on the hot water, Natsu raised to stand by her again, rubbing his chin. "Man Juicy, you sure pack a mean left hook."
"Well stop sneaking up on me." Lucy stuck her tongue out at him and handed him the slip of paper. "Seems that Cana booked our wedding tour here."
Hatter was looking at the note when the odd creature (or another just like it) made its way above her again. Without looking away from it, the lady laid a hand on her husband's arm and whispered. "What is that thing?"
Natsu looked up and replied without whispering, "What thing?"
Turning to look at him, she frowned and motioned toward the spirit-thing. "That! It's right up there!"
Natsu looked where she pointed, but shook his head when he heard her echo. "Nuthin there, Juice."
"Definitely a spirit then..." Lucy rolled her eyes at him and caught another paper it dropped to her.
Noticing the paper fall from the trees, Natsu grinned and slapped a fist into his palm. "Ohhh! I get it now! So the echoes must be the ones always delivering Cana's notes! Everything makes so much sense now." Then he frowned. Solving life's little mysteries was neat at first, but then there was the problem of it no longer being mysterious. The conundrum was certainly a head scratcher.
Lucy's eyes widened at the note's contents and blushed brilliantly. Natsu's frown turned back toward her and edged in to see the paper. With a squeal, the maiden quickly wadded up the parchment and popped it in her mouth, forcing it down. When the dragon's face asked the question she sputtered out, "It's nothing! Just nothing... HEY look! Hotspring!"
She couldn't believe that actually worked! The Hatter looked all around them and smiled. He paused at the odd purple light glowing within deeper waters though, "Wonder what's causing that."
"We could go check." Lucy asked, hoping to keep him distracted. She found herself growing more and more anxious about the two of them being alone together... and Cana's last little slip of paper hadn't helped:
Make sure your first ride on the dragon is in water.
Wouldn't want our newest dreamer to get burned.đ
"Nah..." Turning to face the star maiden again, he raised a brow. "So are you gonna slip or sumthin...?"
"Huh? Slip?" Lucy felt around with her toes, the ground was smooth, but not all that slick under there. "No, why?"
Scratching his head, the hatter squinted an eye. "It's kinda one of my favorite ways ta getcha into my arms." He then grew a brilliant grin, "it's a game I keep winning! I've been callin' it, Catch the Juicy!"
Lucy blinked at him, utterly discombobulated. He'd turned her clumsiness into a game?! That... that... scoundrel! Despite her thorough education, her mind went blank. She couldn't even come up with words like: reprehensible miscreant, or degenerate deviant. No, no, her mind (had it not been so absent currently) leaned more toward charming rascal. However, that growing smirk of his, combined with his reaching out for herâjarred her anxiety. Honestly! Having felt her husband's length so near her womanhood... she wasn't sure if it'd even fit! "That-that light could be importantâwe should at least see that it'sâ"
"That cat can keep her secrets." Natsu wrapped heated arms about her waist. "You on the other hand..."
Feeling more than flushed as one of Natsu's seemingly larger than usual hands slowly slide downhill over every curve to clutch and lift a thigh up onto his hip, Lucy gasped when she felt his arousal brush up against her under the warm water. Her eyes widened. "Are... are you naked?!"
With a shrug, Natsu spoke into her lips as he initiated a kiss. "I'm in a bath with my wife."
Nearly all tension within her muscles soothed to the sound of this magnificent creature's voice naming her wife. Sure, the marriage was lawful (she hoped... exactly who or what had ordained that Cheshire Cat?), but she couldn't help but feel the exhilaration of their union being rebellious too. After all, her father certainly never approved this mad hatter to be her lawful husband. Though all of this faded away to the dark recesses of her mind categorized under: Who Gives a Flying Fuck; the taste of the beast clutching her was too intoxicating to care. She hadn't even realized when the hatter hiked her other leg up on him as well until he was walking her to the edge of the spring and laying her down on smooth rocks, heated by lapping water. Still lost within their kiss, Natsu leaned over her. The heat of his body making the water feel cool by comparison. As the water constantly stole her hearing by its light waves, her body grew much more responsive to the rumble boiling within her husband's chest as he growled. She shivered as such vibrations deepened his tongue's invasion, laying claim to everything past his love's lips.
A sigh escaped her at the surprisingly gentle way his hand glided over her shoulder, slipping a bikini strap down. As if delicately asking if it was alright that he do so. However, it was also entirely possible that the hatter might have been concerned about how she'd react should he burn more clothing... Each character had the freedom to interpret the situation as they see fit, after all. When it seemed like the strap could slide no farther, the dragon grunted at its insolence and Lucy giggled. This brought him pause and he looked down at the blonde. "Your confusing clothes ain't funny."
Lucy caressed the impatient dragon's cheek. "Aren't you the one who made me a ton of clothes?"
"Nuthin' like this thing!" Natsu glowered at the obstinate garment keeping him from gazing on what could very likely be the greatest treasure in all of Fairy Tail.
Trying to fight down a blush that wasn't going anywhere, Lucy sat up at the water's edge; where her husband still stood in waist high, steamy water. Gods but he looked magnificent, frustrated expression or no. The liquid trailed down every muscle, reminding Lucy of just how fortunate she was to have someone such as him for her husband. In an attempt to make it not so obvious that her eyes were glued to such a godly torso, she dipped back into the water in front of him and turned around, shifting her braid over a shoulder. "It ties in the back..."
The Hatter's brows twitched at his Juicy's out of character invitation. His eyes devoured the luscious skin in all its glory. From the succulent neck down to sinuous shoulder blades, and positively sinful waist. His gaze cursed the steamy water from blocking his view farther, but no matter. He pulled the string and watched the top half of her swimsuit fall free. His wife's modesty immediately covered her bosomâand rightly so. No damned echo spirits deserved to gaze upon her breasts before he. In an effort to assist her (of course), he spun her back around and held her close. The feel of her body against him quickening his blood. Lucy gasped as he pressed her back down onto the rocks while he bent over her. With eyes burning the vision of her in his retinas, he descended on her. Their tongues meshed together as one hand dug into blonde locks while the other toyed with one of the juicy mounds his wife was blessed with. Lucy felt as though she'd burn in an inferno, her passion had risen so quickly. Even when the beast had left her lips to leave a trail of nips down her neck she could still feel the heat he'd left inside her. When inhumanly hot lips reached the peek of a lonely breast she arched her back, her body demanding more. Her legs pressed him in tightly, desperately feeling a need for contact, though the dragon between them did not grant her such mercy. Both his claws reached down and held them still and his bride whimpered.
Leaving only the memory of his warmth upon her breast, Lucy watched salmon spikes descend further through fogged vision. Be it from the water's steam or her own desires, one would never know. She could naught but clutch the hands that held her legs captive as teeth latched onto Natsu's final adversary. Feeling much more audacious this close to the scent he'd wanted to taste for far too long, the remaining half of her bikini met with dragon's breath that expertly tickled about his love's skin to elicit a moan from deep within her throat. Through serpentine eyes he watched the silk's evisceration and smiled as the treasure laid bareâfinally. The scent of his beloved's arousal was far stronger now and sent him reeling. Lucy cried out his name while he continued to deny her her legs as lips latched onto her core.
This was something the lady had never expected, and as the man's searing tongue that never burned drifted across delicate skin only to delve deeper, she thought her heart might stop then and there. She cried out, exhilarated by all the tiny explosions going off within her body. Lucy's chin angled up and stared into the canopy, huffing and moaning. There was no way her heart would survive the things her husband was doing to her, yet there was no fear. Only mind numbing pleasure. She could feel his breath going into her, warming her from the inside and spawning moisture on the outside. Unsure if she was even breathing as the dragon devoured her, her hands weakened and her legs finally went slack. Her vision darkened around the edges and she groaned as a new feeling began to creep over her. Like sparks of electricity pricking all the goosebumps covering her body in a massive wave that coalesced right where her husband's lips pulled at her.
"Naaaaaa-stu...!"
The hum that he responded with brought Lucy past the brink of everything she'd ever known. She screamed out to the stars as Natsu tasted her release. All the knots tied within her soul untangled and her body relaxed. Pieces of her she had not known were wound unraveled, and she breathed out a sigh while listening to the scream she'd released bounce among the trees.
She laid there, her entire body calm and riveted all at once when the love of her life rose to meet her. Fire danced in golden, serpentine eyes as they met with hers. Sighing something about how sweet his Juicy's flavor was, he laid forearms next to her and nuzzled her neck. Limp arms wrapped about him and she gasped anew when his length came knocking on her doors.
Whispering against her neck, she felt febrile breath dance down wet skin. "I love you, Luce. Stay with me forever."
"Always," Lucy's voice was so soft, she did not even hear herself.
The dragon heard her though, bidding all constraints farewell as he slipped within her. The sensation was beyond ecstasy as the beast of fire realized what it was like to be complete. His mate cried out as he felt an insatiable desire to roar. He pushed farther, discovering her warmth was a match for his should he just delve deep enough. Tepid temperatures sent steam rising and water levels lower as he began to withdraw, already overcome with the need to pierce her again. Silky legs wrapped about him as he plunged, this time with enough drive to crumble the rocks his mate lay upon. As virgin's blood mixed with the spring, a carnivorous urge drove him. Water flooded the indention though any fluid that dare touch him sizzled and turned to mist.
It is true, what they say. Eyes are windows into one's soulâand Natsu's caged a pandemonius firestorm. As eyes glowed, teeth sharpened and it was only by his power that his beloved remain unsinged. From the inside out he branded her his, and took some of her into him. He felt the power of the stars suspended in the cosmos, raging infernos the likes of which no mere mortal ever tread. Just as she felt the might of his dragonfire. Lucy could feel fire's freedom when liberated within the atmospheric embrace. Wildfire, unconstrained by nothing but his will aloneâand the lord of fire shared it with her. As he repeated, again and again, an utterly impossible thing consumed her. Imagine if your body changed from membrane to something new; some unmelting substance stronger than a hammer built for the forge but pliant enough to feel every sensation her husband wrought. A metamorphosis. Lucy could feel warmth consume her so she never need be cold again.
Every pinprick on her skin was felt more acutely, every water droplet that grazed her could be keenly sensed. With such senses so suddenly heightened, Lucy could not bottle up the cry of pure euphoria nor did she care to try. She swore she could feel two hearts, though they beat as one. Primal power, enhanced by their emotion, their love for each other, swirled about them like millions of sparks. Or were they fire sprites, dancing amid such a combustion of turbulent magics? Lucy gripped his arms tightly as she indulged in his ferocity, every motion bringing her closer to him in the most fascinating of ways. A leg made its way to roost on his shoulder and she moaned anew as he scraped sharp teeth against it while a searing tongue tasted her flesh. Though she could clearly feel the pleasure he granted her, she then began to experience a hint of the mind numbing gratification she was returning to him as their souls linked. No, not linked, but joined. There could be no more doubts for what they felt for one another, for it all laid bare. They were one, now and for all time.
More rocks crumbled as Lucy sated the beast above her in their embrace. Water steamed about them, but could not remain fluid against the broiling heat the two of them forged, both cosmic and wild. The lovers sang out together every time he filled her and fire erupted around them, its roar mocking the water unable to quell it. Natsu stared at his wife's perfect skin as the shadows from his flames danced about her breasts, bobbing about by his lustful motions. He'd never felt this hot, like a mountain first discovering its true destiny as a volcano, unable to sustain itself any longer.
Lucy's eyes lit up to match her husband's as he thrust into her again, sparking her second release of the evening as she called out to him. Her beloved husband cast his head out toward to sky and let out a kingly roar of his own. Fire exploded from his song and the trees sang praise for the humid air saving them from the dragon's volcanic nirvana. Lucy's scream heightened, for she could feel her lover's torrid seed spread throughout her. Once their voices' ebbed, the dragon's song complete, not one echo dare mimic them. All was silent save for the huffs of two loversâone soulâperfectly spent.
Husband and wife stared at one another, both a little wide eyed from the experience they'd shared. Eventually, Natsu shifted to lay flush behind her and nuzzled her neck. "Damn Juice, whadja do to me?"
As the water was finally able to settle around the two of them once more, Lucy just stared up at the canopy and breathed out a laugh, "I should be asking you that..."

13,459 drips had counted the wrong ticks when Time was nearly blown to the edge of the cliff when one Tweedle Dum punched the stone wall he leaned against. Jellal skidded on all fours, his heel lifting up to better ground himself at cliff's edge. Through the debris he watched from squinted eyes as three white haired guardians of peace filtered into his cell emitting a light of their own making. Queen Mirajane wore a costume better suited to a warrior demon creature than anything even close to queenly as she held a hand out to him. "Come Jellal. We're getting out of here."
Slowly rising to his feet, Time frowned at his rescuers. "No."
Tweedle Dum grimaced at him, "Staying here waiting for an execution ain't manly at all. Mira says we're leaving, we're leavin."
Mirajane's features softened, a stark contrast to Time's. "I understand that you want to stay, Lord Time... but understand I must do as I must too."
Bellowing his cape, Jellal narrowed his eyes. "Then we are in a paradox, you and I."
"Jellal!" Mirajane pleaded, "Please! I do not wish to harm you! I only want to ensure my sister does not make the worse decision of her life!"
"As do I, but I will not leave where she has deemed to place me. Not again." Jellal raised his arms defensively, ready for the inevitable attack.
With all three of the Strauss' in his sights, Jellal was not worried in the slightest that he could deflect each and every one of them. Lisanna will strike first, they would rely on her speed to set him off balance as he parried her attack. Next would come Elfman, more likely to smash the ground in front of him as Mirajane would sweep up from behind to capture him as he fell into the pit and subdue him. It was all in the cards... he'd learned how to read them from watching a certain Cheshire Cat play those three for decades. There was a reason for the smile behind the Card Master's eyes, and watching the three of them prepare for such an obvious onslaught was invigorating. Perhaps this was why the cat was always so eager to play...
Sharp pain, right at the nape of his neck... then everything went dark. Time lay still.
"Apologies, Lord Time..." a feminine voice mono-toned from behind his crumbled form, solidifying from the waters he'd counted so many ticks from. "Juvia is not watching poor Queen Erza inflict more pain upon herself."

After an amazing lamb chop dinner up in the tree-house (more aptly called a tree-condo), Lucy's beast of a husband had come to suck her fingers cleanâwhich had initiated a glorious round two for their wedding night. Leading the two of them to where we now join them on singed sheets and broken bed. A content smile rested, ever present on our dragon's face as he leaned his head on a hand while the other hand held out a flame for his beloved. There she sat next to him, modestly holding the sheet over her bosom as she played with the fire, amazed that it would not burn her. Her presence rested within him now. Her glow, her brilliance, a constant reminder that they were forever linked. And just as his body would never take damage from a flame, now hers would not as well. They were one. Yet even though the hatter was endlessly entertained by his mate's current awe stuck expression at this phenomenon, his mind still wondered... had it been the same for his father?
"Are you seeing this?" Lucy giggled with a hand hovering over the flame. "It's really not burning at all!"
How had the mighty Igneel been able to deal with this sensation, yet never see, hear, nor touch his mate? It must have taken a selfless soul indeed to have been able to cope. As it stood for Natsu... well, he wasn't even sure if he'd be able to stand another creature gazing upon his wife. Perhaps he should build Lucy a tower...
Looking up when her husband still remained quiet, Lucy tilted her head and grew curious when the curl of his smile lowered a bit. "Is... is something the matter, Natsu?"
"Hmm?" The Hatter raised his gaze from her fingers to her eyes.
Mavis her smile was magnificent as she chuckled. "Where did you go?"
Slowly entwining her hand into his, the flame snuffed out in a hiss. "Right here, Juice." Then his smile lifted into a smirk, "right where ya wanted me..."
That brought the woman a blush yet she scooted in closer anyway. "What I meant was, what had crossed your mind just now?"
"Aww... nothin' important." He shrugged, bringing Lucy's hand to his face so he could smell her better.
"It was important enough to nearly spawn a frown on my husband's face on our wedding night. So out with it, Buster."
Natsu groaned, dunking his head into a pillow. Whatever he'd said was swallowed into it, and that simply would not do for Lucy. With a determined set to her brows, she tugged the pillow out from under him. He whined, "Wha? Hey!"
He reached for it, but Lucy leaned away. "No sir. Out with it or the pillow gets it!"
Lucy yelped when Natsu flicked a spark and the innocent pillow went up in flames. "There. No more ransom, plus, now I get to use your juiciness as my pillow."
"Natsu!" Lucy sighed, "here, I'll go first. I was thinking of how wonderful it would be to learn something new about my wonderful, gorgeous husbandâand whatever had crossed his mind just now seemed like a great place to start."
"You're gonna think it's weird." Natsu grimaced, unaccustomed to being concerned for what someone else might think.
"So?" Lucy's brow remained raised. "I already happen know that you're pretty strange, so say it anyway."
"Ugh..." Natsu groaned, suffering his wife's stubbornness. "I was thinking about my dad."
"Okay... yeah..." Lucy grew her smile back, "that's a little weird, but go on."
Natsu lifted a brow at her, unsure of how to proceedâbut positive he was not willing to lieâthinking before speaking was not his forte. "Uh, now that we're mated... I can feel you... well, a part'a you, inside me. And I... was just kinda wondering... uh... if Dad had felt this too."
Lucy shifted her thumb over his cheek. "I can feel you too. It's like, something's melted... all over my being, warming me... protecting me."
Her husband lifted her hand and kissed it gently. Then leaned his cheek to it, closing his eyes.
With a chocolate gaze that twinkled her love for the man laying next to her, she ventured out, "So you're wondering if your father felt the kind of bond we're now sharing with your mother?"
There it was. The soft spot Lucy hadn't known of. A shadow passed over his face as an eyebrow twitched in consternation. He lay there, silent for a while as Lucy began to grow concerned that he'd shut the topic down. Then, right as she was about to say that they need not speak of it, he answered. "Never had a mother, not really. She handed me off as a hatchling. I was raised on her stories, Igneel would never speak of her unless it was sumthin' good." His eyes finally opened as he rolled onto his back and mimicked what script mages would repeat. "All hail Bandersnatch, the magnificent. Who rescued Alice from Red Queen's wrath and paved way for Dreamer's deliverance of fair Queen Mirana. Pay heed to the Bandersnatch! She who took up the champion's task once Dreamer woke."
"The Bandersnatch was your mother...?" Lucy's eyes widened, "and the White Champion?" Lucy's mind raced. "So when Queen Mira spoke of your birthright, she meant..."
Natsu swiveled his head to look at her, "My birthright? She spoke to you about my birthright?"
There was a glimmer in his eye that gave Lucy pause, "Uh... she hadn't really said much. Ju-just that Erza wouldn't be able to control you ifâ"
Natsu's expression turned blank as he finished her sentence, "If I agree to become her champion?"
Shrinking back into her pillow, Lucy tried on a half-smile. "I, um... think so?"
"It never stops with them." Natsu sighed, taking note of his wife's sudden change to anxious. Rolling back to his side, he cupped her cheek in his warm hand. "Neither one of the kingdoms want us Inbetweeners as Inbetweeners. Our lives have always been about avoiding recruitment. Dragons are supposed to remain separate from the kingdoms."
"Why? What about Gajeel, wasn't he a red? You said Alice brought the Bandersnatch to the whites, was she not a dragon? So what happened to her and your father? And Wendy, is she an Inbetweener? She called herself a gatekeeper... or was that Cana?" Questions began pouring out of the dreamer, super excited to be getting answersâfinally!
As the questions kept coming, a sweatdrop rolled down the hatter's head.
"How come you don't ever go into your dragon form? How can a caterpillar mother a dragon? Why is it good luck for a dreamer to love a hatter?"
That last question had Natsu grabbing Lucy's waist and rolling her on top of him. Once she was flush against him, he guided her head down to his lips and kissed her deeply. His embrace was gentle as one hand caressed her cheek and the other warmed the base of her spine. When the sensuous kiss ended, he nipped her bottom lip and drawled, "How can being with you like this be anything but good luck?"
Lucy blushed from such a compliment, though aside from the shy smile, it wasn't noticed since her husband already had her flushed. She sat up with eyes following her fingers as they traced down his chest. He purred as fingertips grazed down him, his hands tightening on her waist. While Lucy was becoming enamored in the exploration of his body, Natsu raised his sights from her bare chest to her eyes. "I'll answer any question ya got, so long as you keep touching me." He'd been so grabby with her all this timeâit had never occurred to him how rewarding it was for her to touch him, and didn't want her to stop.
It took Lucy a moment to register their new situation. Not fully realizing that her husband had suddenly become putty in her hands, she strove to recall one of her questions. Natsu hissed when her index finger circled one of his nipples. So he was half Bandersnatch? What did that mean? "What is a Bandersnatch?"
One of his hands crept up her side and he struggled with words. "The... not A... and she's... uh... shifter. Giant cat. Poisonous, but could heal with... mmm... tongue."
Lucy's eyes rounded, of course! That's how Natsu had healed the cut on her leg. Feeling empowered by her husband's mannerisms, she leaned forward. Fingertips drifted over his jawline, "And what if you licked this marring you left on my neck?"
Shivers went up the dragon's spine, heady from his lover requesting that he taste her. With nothing to do but acquiesce to her request, he pressed her closer so that he could reach her. His wife sighed as his tongue dragged over her neck, warming her deeply as it rose the dragon's blood temperature. This time he watched as the bruise faded into nothing. So there it was. Deny his mother's side as much as he could... he still carried traits similar to her gifts. Right as soon as he murmured that the hickey was gone, Lucy captured his lips with hers. Shifting her body to mount her husband for an enchanting third round of the night, she broke from their kiss just long enough to breath out, "Don't you go licking anyone else."
Eager to feel his lover's warmth again, Natsu pressed her hips down onto him and groaned upon entry. "Never."
With Lucy setting the pace this time, their love making went long into the night. Gentle, sweet caresses, long, adoring kisses, and promises of an eternal partnership eventually led to exhausted, contented bodies sleeping soundly in tangled limbs on a bed hopelessly broken beyond repair.
The entire spring lay quiet at last, residual magic from the magical bonding two lovers had built settling into the forest. Much of the power soaked into the spring itself, causing the constant light hued in twilight sleeping below warm waters to pulse. From bright to dull, bright, back to dull. Perhaps whatever rested there slept no more...
Happy dreaming.
