Ratchet carefully led Lancex and the three dinobots to what currently passed for a med bay. In simple terms, Ratchet informed the dinobots that he would examine Grimlock first, then snarl and finally Swoop. The dinobots tried to protest, but Ratchet pointed to a med bey berth and told the dinobots to sit down and be quiet as he examined them. Grimlock wanted to be snappy with the medic, but Ratchet had his ways of dealing with things like that.
Meanwhile, as Ratchet examined the dinobots, Lancex spoke with Ryu. They didn't do this with any specific regularity but talked every so often as they needed to. In Lancex's inner world, said bot was sitting on a grassy knoll of a grassy field with a large red and black dragon laying near by. "Did I choose wisely in sharing my experience and history with the Autobots and dinobots?" Lancex found himself asking.
Ryu, the dragon, chuckled before answering. "Yes, as it will help them understand you."
Lancex nodded before asking, "can I use that if and when the situation calls for it?"
"Whether you do or not is entirely up to you" Ryu answered in a non answer type form. It wasn't what Lancex wanted to hear but it was what he needed to hear. Lancex thanked the dragon and then wished the dragon goodbye, causing the dragon to vanish. Though as the dragon vanished he wondered if he should have asked Lancex about Grimlock and Optimus, but figured he could do it later. Lancex then returned his senses to what was going on around him in the med bay.
When Lancex returned to his senses, he found that Ratchet had completed his examinations of the dinobots and Optimus was discussing something with Ratchet. Since when had Optimus appeared, Lancex wondered, but he figured since Optimus was the leader of the group, Ratchet was informing the Prime of medical statuses for the bots.
"Your turn" Ratchet annouced, catching Lancex a bit off guard as it was pretty rough sounding. But Lancex complied with the order none the less. Lancex handed his powerful sword off to Optimus and submitted to the exam. The three dinobots looked on as well, with Swoop and Snarl worried about Grimlock's reactions as the T-Rex was shooting a death glare at the Prime.
Meanwhile, during the examination of Lancex, Ratchet found that even after the fight with Megatron, Lancex was pretty close to in peak condition. Upon scanning deeper, Ratchet found inactivated sparkling protocols and a sparkling development chamber that would come online once the bot was bonded to two strong mat3. Nothing less would trigger the protocols nor would anything more. Though it didn't show, Ratchet was surprised to find that Lancex was a rare carrying bot, quaterswhich often was called a submissive mech. They were typically stronger than regular bots to protect themselves from being forcibly taken and sparked, but they would submit to carrying when the right requirements were met.
For now, Ratchet kept this I for to himself and stated that Lancex was in nearly peak physical condition. Optimus handed Lamcex's sword back and Lancex soon left, completely unaware of what the medic had discovered. Ratceht alerted Optimsu that the dinobots required quarters. Optimus would have to think a bit about this. Where should the three dinobots go.
