Herobrine breathed out as he got in another fighting stance, he refused to back down just yet, however things were already looking bad for him, pain raced up his left arm, causing the near-limp appendage to be more of a hindrance now. However that didn't stop the god as he lunged towards the valkyrie, his face now twisted in frustration. The dance of blades began again, Herobrine being pushed back once more as their speed combated back and forth, both were unnaturally fast but that damn valkyrie had the upper hand severely now. A slice along Herobrine's cheek had him flinching, it narrowly missed his eye- that would have been a hassle to heal back fully. His healing was fast- but not to perfection- nor did the blade lend any help by slowing his healing immensely. The thought of dying to that damn valkyrie made a scowl form on his face. His movements were almost as precise as Luciel's, but not nearly as perfect. Luciel showed speed and perfection unlike anything he had faced, not even his brother was as good as this simple creation.

Herobrine began to falter, growing tired from the blood loss as he met every hard strike, his blade vibrating from the force of each hit. Without his other arm to support his own sword when needed- he was unable to strike back. His movements turned to defensive- Luciel stoically pushing the demon back towards a heavily dense dark forest that surrounded the village. With no objection, Herobrine pressed his back against the thick bark of a tree, his sword flashing out to protect himself from the sharp bites of his attackers blade. The man slashed and hacked at the wood around Herobrine, missing his flesh by near centimeters. Herobrine was being toyed with, the wingless pest was showing off! Finally- an opening- The god quickly grabbed the Valkyries arm firmly with his bloodied hand, grunting in effort as his weakened state heaved the angel forcefully to him, swinging him fast and unsuspectingly into the hard tree.

Dazed- Luciel shouted and grabbed his head, trying to see right, his vision and balance rocked.

Herobrine hissed, his grip still tight on the angels arm, he swung hard, releasing the other right into another towering tree. Another cry of pain had the valkyrie barely standing. His halo wavered before it expanded, the blue four pointed flat star behind his back flashed out and he lifted off the ground, taking to the air to get his senses back for a moment. With this opportunity, the demon shook off the blood, splattering the dense and tall grass with his life fluids. He leapt, clinging to the valkyries armored ankle with his injured arm, Herobrine shouted in pain, grimacing as he clung tightly. His bleeding arm pulsed in agony, however it didn't stop his iron grip from faltering.

Luciel looked down, his vision coming back as he felt a weight pull him down from the sky. He caught himself, carefully balancing as he raised a leg to slam his hard armored shoes straight into the others forehead. A wild growl came from the demon, his hand alighting on fire as he clung to the other, dangling dangerously.

"get- off!" The angel's gruff voice was aggravated, trying to kick the other off, his hard shoe meeting Herobrine's head once again, only for his boot to be grabbed by the demon's other hand, the sword seemingly gone. Claws dented into the metal, holding firm as black markings quickly traveled up Herobrine's arms, orange flames dancing along his bladed fingers as he climbed up the valkyries armor.

Luciel dropped fast, and both tumbled to the ground, Luciel rolling away from the other to make sure nothing of his had set alight. Herobrine had tumbled from the unsuspecting drop, but he kicked a leg out and quickly got back on his feet, his darkened hands flexed in adrenaline and anticipation. His left hand flinched before returning to pale flesh, his wound left gaping and exposed still, he was losing blood fast.

"Get out of here! must we fight every time?!" Luciel spat out, his expression now one of anger and aggravation. "when will you realize you are only hurting yourself?" The angel panted out, the fall had winded him lightly. "you wont win!"

Herobrine was twisted, in ways that the other could not understand, no one would ever understand, and he was okay with that. The demon chuckled darkly, shaking his head as he could feel himself slipping quickly, his time was running out, he needed to leave.

"That doesn't mean I cant fight back." He spat, growling as he held his wounded arm with a clawed hand. His tattoo like markings were present, they ran up his bicep like a jagged snake, hard flat angles finished the blackout of his arm. Horns barely peaked out from his fluffy hair.

Luciel seemed curious, surprised that Herobrine had shown any of his inhuman qualities other than his eyes. A jagged black thin spaded tail lashed wildly, the fight was on.

The demon dashed toward the angel, his white eyes burning in energy and power, his legs moving unnaturally fast as he lunged. The other man grunted as Herobrine barreled straight into him, blood flying all over his armor and cloak. Both fell to the ground in a heavy heap, black claws aimed straight for the general's face and Herobrine was shoved hard to the side and off the angel. He growled, digging his sharp hands into the dirt, not hesitating to lunge again before the other was able to stand. Finally claws landed, digging into the unguarded fleshy wrists and face of the valkyrie, giving a few hard scratches and a puncture wound on the enemies hand. Herobrine gripped and pulled hard on the hand, trying to stretch the appendage unnaturally.

However before the demon got far, Luciel had shouted in frustration and pain, still having hold of his sword, he brought it down in between the two. Herobrine hissed as the slash down gave him a good cut along his shoulder and torso. It ripped through the thin fabric easily, spreading blood onto the valkyrie underneath. It was then when Herobrine pushed suddenly, now flinging himself off the other to get to a safe distance. His fresh wound felt sharp and agonizing, his internal thoughts screamed in warning. His fight or flight instinct had turned into flight and it wasn't the first time.

With a wild scramble to get his body to work properly, he got to his feet, pain sizzling within his wounds, and blood pooled down his torso, soaking his pants into a deep black. The life fluid dripped from his arm still.
Herobrine heaved, breathing heavily, his breath was impossible to catch now and it showed. The demons white eyes dulled, however the same ferocity as early showed through. He was angry- however there wasn't much more he could do. He had pushed his luck too far, getting caught like this would be a death wish now.
The god took a step forward, heading for the forest, only to stumble for a moment, his expression startled and exhausted. Herobrine's gaze zipped to Luciel, the angel was standing again, sword firmly pointing at the god, however he didn't say a word, just watched as Herobrine continued to stagger off.

He had to get out of there- he had to leave before he dropped, and he could feel his blood steadily flowing, it didn't want to stop in the slightest. His hand changed shape, turning back into pale skin. He growled, clenching his wound in agony, trying to create pressure on the deep slash. That damn valkyrie ruined his shirt, not to mention; put a damper on his job. With another growl the god staggered sideways from his path, catching himself fast to continue onwards. He had never been around Luciel long enough to find out what the others' intentions were, but his damn ego got in the way this time. He already knew he couldn't take on the other, Luciel was nearly impossible to beat in a sword duel. Somehow that man wasn't some type of god surprisingly.

Herobrine's good arm was placed firmly against the tree to his right, clinging to the rough bark shakily. He paused for a moment, breathing through his clenched teeth to close his eyes and listen. No footsteps followed behind him, nor did Luciel's magic. Good, he needed to lose the other as fast as possible, he didn't need to be displayed for all the aether to see his state. Nor did he need to be sent back to the void for a complete reconstruct, that was his last resort.

The god moved on, tripping over his boots as his gaze lowered to them, glaring at the blood dripping onto the leaves below. His eyes lit up his surroundings, though dimmer than usual. This display of weakness was annoying, it made him more angered and annoyed. His horns had shrunk, disappearing from the top of his head to lay flat, hiding in his hair once again. His tail also shrank, no longer a noticeable length, it disappeared, hidden beneath his shirt and right above his belt.

The gods head swayed dangerously, his hand flung out to catch himself on a tree but he found himself plummeting instead. His knees gave out, collapsing hard on the dead leaves under foot. Herobrine's gaze cut in and out as he managed to catch himself with his good hand, his left arm flopped numbly into view. He clenched the dead leaves for a moment, growling in aggravation before collapsing on his side, hissing in pain. His eyes were so heavy, and damn was it annoying. Herobrine clenched his aching chest once more, growling as he blacked out, his body giving up on him, too exhausted from the blood loss to continue on.

Luciel looked down, his gaze roaming the small clearing before him, the dark area was covered in torn up leaves and dirt, wild plants had been upturned from their hard steps and sliding. His golden eyes followed the blood drips deeper into the forest before him, curious about the other. He couldn't help but feel pity, he didn't want this, nor did he want to kill the other. And if it was even possible; he never wanted to hurt the god, just have the being avoid him in order to stop the attacks.

His thoughts were stopped as his gaze landed on a shining blue object, it shimmered in the moonlight, catching the valkyries starry eyes. He paced over, leaning down to pick up the light blade. The blue surface shined in beautiful enchantments, magic wafted off of it, clearly this sword was left behind, it was Herobrine's. The blade was unmistakable, he had never gotten to hold it or have a good look at the thing though. He tested its weight, not surprised to find it extremely light, Herobrine was a fast tiny thing compared to himself, the demon was certainly more secure with something to aid in moving fast and making quick kills. This was the sword that did nearly all of it alongside the damned god. Maybe keeping it would be wise, the demon left it behind after leaving in a rush.

Unsurprisingly, Herobrine had fled, and it wasn't the first time. Possibly the first that he had been so gravely wounded though. After a few more seconds of examining the fascinating weapon, Luciel shook his head, he had to stay focused- Herobrine was close by. For some reason the dark being felt compelling, well- he was trained to track the god but this felt different. The valkyrie felt bad.

He grimaced, looking up to the half lidded moon, his dirtied hair sliding over his stiff shoulders. 'Onwards.' He decided, sliding the ancient sword next to his own. The blade was right under his secured scabbard to keep it still. He would take a better look at its design and enchantments later, the thought made him excited, but he snapped himself back into focus once more. 'Herobrine.' The man reminded himself, starting to follow in the direction Herobrine had staggered off to. The thick red blood drops along the dead leaves and weeds were a dead giveaway on the others location.

Luciel wondered if the other had already fled the area, but pulses of raw energy proved otherwise. That power is what kept mobs away, that power was what made everything fear him. It was intoxicating, and to some; suffocating. A raw energy no valkyrie or human could imagine to have. That untamed power was also the reason why Luciel was able to find him so easily. Especially when the demon raged fire over towns, the bigger the display Herobrine gave, the easier to find.

The dark energy cut short, dulling out to a thin, steady pulse, unwavering in its mild tone. Curiosity was eating at Luciel, and lo and behold within a few minutes of a steady walk, he drew closer to the energy, finding the being passed out within his own pool of blood. The beings expression was pained, and his able-hand held onto his ripped shirt.

Luciel pulled down his turtle neck to breathe better in the cool night, he huffed out a long sigh, gazing down. His soft mocha hand resting on his armored hip.

"You didn't get far at all."
