Hey guys it been like two months... I know I know I have my reasons why I haven't updated but I'll talk about it at the end of the chapter it's some serious stuff but for now enjoy the new chapter.
The old mansion loomed ahead, its sagging roof and cracked windows barely visible against the night sky. Ruby hesitated, peering through the windshield of Hayato's car as the wind rustled the leaves outside with a soft whisper. They pulled up and parked their only source of light coming from the moon.
"Are you sure about this?" Ruby asked, her voice a mix of uncertainty and trepidation.
"Come on! It's perfect! A haunted mansion, this is certified to get us the views we need.!" Hayato grinned, his enthusiasm infectious as parked his car and hopped out of the car, slamming the door behind him.
Kana rolled her eyes, already unbuckling her seatbelt. "Don't get too excited Cornrows, we don't know if this will even get us any views." She stepped out, her shoes scratching against the gravel. "Geez…This place looks like a hazard waiting to happen."
"Ah~ You worry too much." Hayato waved a hand dismissively as he rifled through the backseat, pulling out a camera and a few odd devices. "Dont tell me your gonna back down now." Kana proceed to flip him the bird.
Ruby bit her lip, glancing at the house again. It was an absolute wreck—trash littered the ground and the windows were clouded with grime. "I mean, I don't really believe in ghosts, but…" She trailed off staring at the house, an uneasy knot forming in her stomach. She stared a one of the windows curiously, there was something there. She squinted her eyes to get a better look before…
"Yo! You good?!" Hayato suddenly announced placing a hand on the young idol's shoulder, scaring the daylights out of her. She let out a high pitched scream and took a swing at him but Hayato was quick to dodge.
"Whoa-Chill! It's me!" He held his hands up trying to calm her. Realizing her mistake she calmed down but then gave him a vex look."Don't scare me like that! You almost gave me a heart attack!" Ruby scolded.
"My bad, I just… wanted to make sure you straight?"
Ruby turned away from him, hugging herself for reinsurance. "I'm fine, just… wanna get this done and go home..." Hayato stared at her in guilt, feeling bad about making her come and spend a night here. He tried to say something to comfort her but was interrupted by a voice by the entrance.
"Hey! Are you two done being dramatic?" Kana called from the doorway, beckoning them inside. "C'mon! We need to get the intro shot before it gets too dark."
With a deep breath, Ruby stepped into the house Hayato silently followed behind carrying the equipment. They open the door to a loud sounding creek echoing through the house. It was dark with the exception of the moonlight glowing through the windows.
"Welcome to horror central," Kana muttered while walking in first. Ruby followed, her heart racing as they entered what could only be described as a ghost of a living room—dust motes danced in the air, and the faded couch sagged in the middle. "What a dump."
"See, told you. It's perfect for the ambiance. Nothing says 'haunted' like a pigsty." Hayato joked while walking while setting the equipment down.
"Are we setting up here?" Ruby asked while Hayato observed the room they were in. "Hmm… Well from what that guy told me is that one of the bedrooms is a hotspot for paranormal activities so lets go set up there."
The girls nod as they follow him upstairs to the room. Kana walked without a care while Ruby stayed close behind her. Walking through the halls, old paintings lined the walls but also more trash that they had to go through They soon make it to the bedroom.
Hey can one of ya open the door, I know i would but…" Hayato gestures to the stuff he's carrying as Kana groans, opening the door. The moonlight spilled through the cracked window, casting long shadows across the dust-laden floor of the old bedroom.
Hayato starts setting up the cameras and other equipment like an EMF reader and a spirit box. As he does the girls look around the room. Ruby spots a dusty portrait on the ground and picks it up.
She blows off the dust to reveal a black and white photo of a young woman wearing what looked like 1950s clothing. She observed it for a minute before losing interest then placed it on top of a nearby drawer nearby and walked away. What she didn't see was the eyes of the woman in the photo following her as she went.
Y'know Cornrows, I'm surprised that you were able to rent out a place like this on short term notice. How'd you do it?" Kana asked while Hayato made sure the cameras had a good view of the room.
"Well when you're the son of a major CEO that tends to happen. I just told them my last name and they immediately folded as much as I hate to do that."
"Why? I mean to have that kind of status over people must come with its benefits. Money, power, fame, what more can you want." Kana listed off as Hayato frowned at the question.
"Yeah… or more like a curse." He muttered under his breath something Kana caught but chose to say nothing.
After a bit Hayato finally set up the equipment and was ready to go. He gave each of the girls a handheld camera to record their reactions while he held one to record in general. Can never have too many. He debriefed the girls on how this was gonna go. First do introductions on the camera and what they were gonna do and then attempt to call out the ghost name.
Earlier beforehand Hayato got information on the previous owners of the house were an old couple Mr. and Mrs. Moriyama that would frighten young teens trespassing on their property but suddenly die due to unknown circumstances. So after they did their intros they were ready to start the investigation.
"Alright so first things first…turn off the lights." Hayato proceeded to turn off the lights that they brought, leaving only their equipment as their only source.
"The three sat together in a circle, cameras ready to catch whatever they saw. "Is there anyone here with us?" Hayato called out. "Mr. or Mrs. Moriyama, are you here with us!?"
Only silence was heard as they looked around. Hayato then looked at Ruby and urged her to say at least something to the 'Ghosts'.
"Um… you have a really uh… nice room." Ruby asked unsure as to what to say, but there was still only silence.
"Ruby you gotta say it with more guts." Kana said, "HEY~ Ghosts! Make a noise or some crap." Still nothing as well so Kana pressured forward. "Come on~ we're waiting~"
"Senpai I don't think-" But before Ruby could say anything a noise came from behind Hayato spooking the three it looked like it came from behind the drawer. "What was-"
"Shhh" Hayato hushed them, as he got up from the floor to investigate.
He took a step forward quietly making a creaking noise as he did. Kana looked with grievance surprised that they were actually might get something as Ruby looked on with anxiousness. Hayato approached the drawer and reached out to it, his heartbeat racing. After a long pregnant pause a rat came out bringing a sigh of relief to him but a big screech from the girls.
"Aiiiieee!" they screamed, the rat ran around the room until it ran through a hole in the wall. The group calmed down after that. "Whew! It was just a rat." he said, wiping sweat from his forehead.
"Oi Cornrows this is stupid there's no way we're gonna catch anything in this dump of a house." Kana complained giving a huff.
"Now hold up, maybe we're going about this wrong. We need a way to attract the ghosts to us." Hayato pondered as Kana stared blankly at the boy. Ruby stared too as she too wondered what to do until.
"Maybe the ghost is shy and only comes out when one person is in the room by themselves." Ruby suggested as the two stared at her in surprise.
"That's probably it! I mean in those ghost hunting shows, sometimes the ghost only interacts when one person is here by their lonesome. Good idea Ruby! As always your brain has no bounds like a wind to-"
"Please don't push it." Ruby quickly said before he can rant about her.
"Right! So then who's gonna volunteer?" Hayato asked as the girls blinked at one another already knowing the answer.
Long story short it was Hayato who stayed in the room while the other two waited outside. Hayato was a bit bummed because they drew straws and sad to say but he drew the short one.
"Me and my big mouth…" He muttered.
"Hayato!" Ruby called from outside. "We'll be outside, just call on the radio if something happens."
"Sure I'll let you know!" He called back.
"Hey Cornrows!" Kana called out. "Try not to get killed by the ghost Kay~"
Hayato rolled his eyes at the comment as he heard the fade of footsteps walk away from the door. He sighed but still tried to look at the positives.
….
Actually there were no positives but that doesn't mean he wouldn't get the job done. Plus Ruby is counting on him and Kana… to some extent.
"Well when in Rome I guess." He then grabbed his camera and started walking around the room looking at the various items around. He did this for like 20 minutes trying to call out to any spirits but nothing came of it.
"Maybe this was a dumb idea… I guess we should just go home and try to come up with a better idea to get views. " Hayato got up from the floor and went to open the door. As soon as he tried to turn it it wouldn't budge. He tried harder but soon the door knob came off leaving him stupefied. "Well that's just great."
He decided to call Ruby on the radio seeing that his way out is inaccessible. "Hey Ruby-Chan the doors busted can you come and-"
"HAYATO!" Ruby screamed from the radio but came out in a mix of radio interference as Hayato stared in shock.
"Ruby! what's wrong!?" Hayato asked in a panicked voice. Nothing came back as he tried to call her again. "HEY! You Okay!?"
"Hayato Get out of there before AAhHHh! KANA!" She screamed as he heard what sounded like a monstrous growl from the other end.
"Ruby! RUBY!" He yelled, then soon started to kick the door down but it wouldn't budge. "Damn! Door!"
"HaYaTooooo…" a haunting voice sounded from right behind him. He dared not to but curiosity killed the cat. He slowly turned his head around the air, going quiet as his anxiety grew. What he spotted was an old woman in ragged clothing, her glowing spiral eyes looking in different directions like a psychopath.
Hayato said nothing but stared in ragged breath at the granny. Both not moving an inch. Soon her head twitch like an insect to look at him and what she said to will probably haunt Hayato even in his afterlife.
"I'll let you suckle my teets boy…" Her crossed eyes moved like marbles to stare at him directly. "If you let me gobble your dong."

"FUCK THAT!" He yelled, banging the door harder but that was probably the last thing he said cause the granny suddenly charged right at him.
"AHHHHHH!"
"Mnnnn-Fuck my head…" Indy's eyes flicker as he awoke from a massive headache. He sat up rubbing his head trying to make sense of the blurry world around him. He heard an echo from the side of him and turned to see a white blur beside him. "The fuck…?"
He rubbed his eyes trying to regain his vision. Soon the world came back to him and the white blur turned out to be Nori. They seemed to be in some living room, it was dark, the only source of light coming from the window. "Ah you're finally awake." Nori said with a pleased smile on his face.
"Nori…? Augh-God what happened and…Wait?" Indy, now fully awake, looked around frantically until he spotted Frill layed down on the floor, possibly knocked out. "Frill!
He rushed to her side then shook her shoulders. "Frill! Wake up!" He shouted in concern. The shaking caused Frill's eyes to blink, still a bit out of it.
"Indy…" She muttered, Indy smiled in relief that she was okay. "Oh good… you're alright." He helped her sit up while she held her head looking towards Indy confused. "What happened…Where are we…?"
"Well Ms. Shiranui we seem to be in a place between paradise and hell, in other words the Hollow." Nori spoke out, causing the two to look at the canine Frill in particular stared in shock. "Indy did…did Nori just…"
"Ugh yes yes the talking dog I believe we have other things to worry about. Though I am glad you are…somewhat okay in the head." Nori teased smirking at the star actress. Frill looked at Nori then at Indy most likely asking 'Is this real?'
"It's a long story, just bare with me here." Indy reassured as he looked towards Nori. "Hey Nori you said something about a hollow?"
The canine ushered the young racer to the front door. Indy got up helping Frill stand as they walked to the door. As he was about to open the front door though. "Don't make too much noise. She's still wandering around…" Nori warned. Indy stared at him confused but headed his warning and opened the door, slowly preparing to see what's on the other side. They walked out and what they saw was something they were not ready for.
"What the fuck…" Indy uttered as the two took in the scenery. It was where they were last time but things were drastically different. The first thing he noticed was that the moon was a shade of red. The buildings around them were broken but were floating. There were also a black gooey substances covering objects like a virus.
"What is this?" Frill asked as she took the insanity all in as Nori looked around cautiously seeing that they were in the clear and he breathed a sigh of relief. "Ok now that we're safe for the moment let me explain." Nori proceeds to explain that after the possessed Chiyo let out a scream they were knocked out and transported to the Hollow. He explained that this place is where ghosts, yokai and mythical beings reside, basically a ghost zone.
Nori further explains after they appeared he quickly dragged the two of them into hiding to protect them from the possessed woman saying that in this world if any humans are found they will immediately be targeted for their didn't bring any relief to the two teens.
"Is there a way to get out?" Indy asked desperate leave as soon as possible as Nori nodded. "Yes either we find the portal to the outside or…we defeat the one that brought us here."
"Chiyo." Frill concludes, as Nori nods.
"Yes that is why we must make haste before more spirits sense that you two are here. Come now, not much time to waste." Nori proceeded to walk off as the two followed. As the two followed their guide Indy took a look at Frilli in concern.
"You alright?"
"Define 'alright'." Frill responded "So this is what you meant when you asked us if we saw anything back in the race."
"Pretty much. Though… it wasn't on a scale like this." Indy gestured at the otherworldly atmosphere of the world. "What I saw was two spirits fighting on top of our cars." Indy explained what really happened that night as they walked through the empty streets. He explains that these spirits have a tradition to cross words in the act of spirit wars.
"It almost sounds like a movie when you describe it." Frill implied as she avoided the black substance on the path. " But something still bothers me."
"Was it the idea of a long tradition of spirits wars or…"
"Not that, it's what the possessed Chiyo said before we came here. She mentioned the Old ones. Just who or what could that be?"
"Sounds like it could be their boss or something. Maybe Nori knows what it is." Indy looked towards the canine as he was surveying the area. "Hey Nori can you tell us what the Old Ones are?" The canine did not respond so Indy asked again. " Hey Nori-"
"Shhh!" Nori ushered still looking at some nearby building as his ears twitched. He slowly looked back towards them. "Quickly we must hide!"
Seeing his panicked look they quickly followed Nori to a nearby building and hid beside it. "Is it Chiyo?" Frill asked as the spirit dog ushered another shush. "I hear her… She's coming this way."
"Who's coming?" Indy asked but got his answer by the sounds of loud footsteps each step shaking the ground. The group stood still as they grew louder.
Soon Indy's curiosity took over and went to look to see what it was. Peeking around the building's side he saw something big. It was Chiyo but way bigger her neck and arms were elongated. Her eyes still had the same possessed look they had back then. Right beside her were a pack of little black gooey looking gremlins with one sole eye.
She looked to be surveying the area as her long neck traveled between building to building.
"Where are those damned brats! Are they here…. No….Tch!" Possessed Chiyo grunted in frustration as she crushed an abandoned car near her. "Find those damned humans whatever it takes. The longer I wait the more hungry I get!" She ordered at the little gremlins as they all scattered doing as their leader said.
Indy, seeing enough, went back to the two to relay what he saw. "Holy shit she's huge." He whispered. "And she got some little monsters helpin' her out."
"What do we do?" Frill asked, glancing at Nori. "We stay quiet, if we move fast we can avoid her."
"Right but what about-" Indy stopped as he stared at the floor confusing the two until they saw what he was looking at. It was one of those little gremlins staring at the three with its one eye. Everyone stayed quiet realizing that they may have been caught. It made a chirping noise tilting its head and honestly it almost looked cute.
Seeing as it stood there doing nothing Indy decided maybe he can reason with the little critter.
"Hey~ little guy, you're not gonna rat us out, right?" Indy said calm as he could as he reached out to it but soon the damn thing took a chomp at his finger. "Woah Shit!" He shook his hand around trying to get the damn monster off of him, soon he decided to slam it on the floor. The monster made a splat as it died Indy finally free of its clutches.
"Damn little shit bit me, can ya believe it." Indy said as he looked at the two but they were looking up at something else. "H-hey ,What's wrong?" He asked which Frill shakily pointed behind him. He looked back and saw Chiyo with a big ugly grin right in front of his face.
"I…Found…You~"
"RUN!" Nori yelled.
The three booked it immediately, as possessed Chiyo gave chase, screaming at the top of her lungs while making a swipe at them with her long arms. The two teens plus canine avoided the attack and ran down the street, the little gremlins coming out of the buildings like a swarm of rats chasing after them.
"What do we do!" Indy yelled, avoiding another arm swing as it crashed through a building causing debris to fly everywhere. One of those debris hit Frill causing her to trip and fall.
"Frill!" Indy screamed as he went to go help her Nori right behind. As he helped her up asking if she was alright. "I'm fine, but they're catching up." Frill grunted.
"Indy! You must summon the Oni!" Nori yelled as Indy stared at him confused. "How the fuck do I do that!"
"Put your right hand behind your left and make a cross symbol, then say Daemon!" Nori explained quickly. Indy stared in disbelief there was no way that could work but right now he had to do something.
"Dammit! Ya better be right!" Indy did as told and put his hand behind his other in a cross, just as he did the possessed Chiyo stopped right in front of him with her little minions surrounding them.
Indy stood still staring right at her. He took a breath and said the word. "DAEMON!"
…
Nothing happened, Indy stared in confusion as he tried again, then again, but nothing happened. "What the heck it's not working!" He said as the possessed Chiyo tilted her head at his attempts. Her minions started laughing mockingly at him. He glared in frustration at his hand shaking it.
"Come on you damn Oni! Come Ou-" Suddenly Chiyo swiped her hand at him knocking him a few feet away into a wall. "INDY!" Frill and Nori cried out.
Chiyo smiled gleefully at her work. "What
an awful attempt at summoning, must be impotence…" She joked then turned to the other two. "I'll take my sweet time with you two, especially this one!" She grabbed Frill, suddenly wrapping her long arms around her waist like a snake.
"Release her!" Nori cried out as he tried to rescue her but was blocked by a gang of gremlins. He bared his fangs in frustration as the Gremlins jumped him.
The possessed Chiyo laughed at their despair. "What an awful attempt by the boy and to think I was worried." She then brought Frill right to her face as she struggled with all her might to escape her clutches. "Now~ (Licks lips) I'll just have a bite of my appetizer."
As that was happening Indy on the floor as blood dripped out of his mouth watching as his friends were about to be devoured. He struggled to get up grunting as he did vision blurry. Got to…Do something…Got to…Get up…Got to….
Fight…His eyes glowed as he made the stance again. A gust of air flowing around him
"DAEMON!"
As Chiyo hovered Frill over her head, she opened her jaw like a snake as she slowly lowered Frill. Nori tried to help but the little gremlins were overwhelming him. As Frill was lowered all she could do was stare at monstrous teeth as her life flashed before her eyes.
Mother….Father…someone…
Save me….
Time slowed down as Frill soon took notice of a blinding light that glowed where Indy was, then the sound of flesh ripping apart rippled in the air as the arm that was holding Frill was suddenly cut off. Chiyo screamed as her cut arm gushed out blood. Frill then felt like she was being carried as whatever held her swooped in and saved her. They soon landed and she finally took notice as to what saved her.
A blue skinned Oni with a red mask and wild white hair flowing in the air held her by the waist. Its eyes glowed red as it stared at Chiyo in what looked like silenced rage blowing out smoke from the mouth of its mask.
"ARRGH! W-WHAT! I-IMPOSSIBLE HOW COULD?" The possessed woman stared angrily at the Oni as it set Frill down safely soon Nori taking his chance freed himself from the minions and ran to Frill. Chiyo then turned behind her and saw where the Oni appeared and saw Indy walking toward her holding his arm in pain but with a wild grin on his face. "Didn't see that coming did'ya… Bitch!" Indy gave a mocking smirk as the woman bared her sharp teeth at him.
Indy stared at his friends, giving them a smile. "Sorry I took a bit." He apologized, rubbing his head as the two smiled glad that he was okay.
"Fool!" Chiyo hissed, writhing in pain but somehow still laughing, a jarring juxtaposition. "You may have cut one, but there are many more to come!" She suddenly grew the arm that was cut back then grew four more on her back.
Indy stared now determined with the Oni here they have a chance. "Oni!" He called, the said spirit glanced at him. "Let's kick her ass! Ya hear!" The Oni nodded, taking a stance as he went into action.
With a sudden lunge, Chiyo shot one of her long arms toward him, fingers splayed like a web. *Screeeech!* The sound echoed in the night, a harbinger of doom. But the Oni was quicker. With a swift slice of his katana, he severed the limb cleanly. *Thwack!* The creature shrieked, a sound so shrill that it seemed to pierce the very fabric of the night.
"Is that all you've got?" the possessed woman spat, frustration creeping into its voice. "You're gonna have to do better than that!"
The Oni said nothing but just swiped down his katana, cleaning the blood from it. The moonlight reflected off his blade as he lunged again, this time aiming for the creature's torso. *Chop!* He connected, a deep gash opening in the monster's side but the wound soon healed. "It's like I said it's inevitable…I can grow my limbs faster than you can cut!" She formed a new arm and quickly attacked the Oni from the side surprising him. He tried to dodge but it was too quick as it connected and sent him flying into a nearby restaurant building.
As this was happening Frill and Nori came to Indy's side as they tried to patch him up. He was breath hard but still stood with all his might. "My god you actually did it, You really did-" Nori praised but was punted on the head by Indy as he stared angrily at the dog. Nori recovered and got in Indy's face. "What was that for you, imbecile!"
"You didn't tell me it was Daemon, I thought it was Demon!" Indy argued and soon the two were having a shouting match. Frill soon bonked both their heads, stopping the two from continuing. "I believe we have more important things to worry about." She then glanced around seeing them surrounded by the little minions. They snarled and bared their teeth at them. "Oh great…Company." Indy groaned.
They backed up and soon Indy and Frill picked up some wood on the floor to defend themselves with. The gremlins screeched at them like wild hyenas then suddenly lunged at them, the two teens hitting them off like baseballs as they came. "Pesky little rodents aren't they!" Nori complained as he bit into one of them and threw it to another. "Ugh! there's no end to them..." Frill said spattering three more of the gremlins but it felt life it was never ending.
"Just keep going, as long as we hold out long enough for the Oni to-" Indy tried to reassure but suddenly the Oni flew from out of nowhere right onto the gremlins killing most of them. The group stared in disbelief as the Oni tried getting up using his sword as a crutch, his body showing cuts and his armor dented and cracked, Indy looked at where he came from and saw Chiyo closing in on them. While the Oni looked roughed up, Chiyo showed no worse for wear.
"I grow tired of these games. Let's end this here." Chiyo groaned as her arms extended, holding the Oni down, then grabbed Nori. She made a grab for Frill but Indy pushed her out of the way grabbing him instead. "Indy!" She cried out, trying to reach for him but couldn't.
"Frill! Just Run, forget about us! We'll be Hrnng-AHH!" He groaned in pain as Chiyo squeezed her hand around him. She brought him up to her face. "Looks like your little Spirit wasn't enough! My body can regenerate faster than he can cut me." She mocked as she pushed down on the Oni harder to the ground preventing him from doing anything.
"Fuck your an ugly bitch!" Indy insulted as he spit a bit of blood on her face. She did not frown but smiled as she licked the blood off her face with her long tongue. Before she could do anything Frill called out to her. "Stop this Chiyo-san, this isn't you!" The spirit took notice of the girl and lowered her head to her. "What did you say girl?"
"This isn't you, please stop this, we can help you. Don't let this monster control you." Frill pleaded. The possessed Chiyo looked at her with a neutral face then glanced down at her hair covering her face.
"Your right…What am I doing…This isn't me…" Her voice sounded normal, not like it was before. Frill looked surprised that she was willing to listen. "Please just come to us."
Frill stared in surprise, maybe she got through to her as she reached out to touch her but suddenly Chiyo lifted her head and grinned at her. "Nah, I'm just messing with ya."
The ghost inside her tricked Frill as she went for a sneak attack. Frill, too slow to react, widened her eyes at the incoming attack. Nori and Indy cried out to her as the appendage came closer. All She could do was close her eyes, hoping for a miracle to happen.

"My, my it seems you are in a bit of trouble, little one. Do not worry…I shall protect you." The voice of an older woman sounded in Frill's head as the sound of a Shamisen echoed. "Fufu let us have a bit of fun shall we~"
"Give me that Dong Boy!" The ghost granny screamed as she was having a hand to hand struggle with Hayato. The young rapper struggled to keep her away with her immense strength as he tried to protect his dick.
"No! you can't have it! Oh god your breath stinks!" He yelled back but the granny didn't waver as she pushed more into him. Hayato thought to himself at his life choices. This is it…Is this how I go out. Getting my dick eaten by this old granny. Fuck me I didnt even get to ask Ruby-chan out…
Suddenly out of nowhere a long stick hit the granny sending her across the room. Hayato's eyes widened but was glad the granny wasn't atop of him.
"Oi! old women, I think that kid a lil too young for ya." A male voice joked to the side. Hayato turned to see whoever said that and was met with surprise.
It was a man but he looked a bit weird as his nose was in a weird shape. He was a bit tall, lanky as well. He wore a chinese looking robe with golden ornaments on him the only thing that was bare were his hands and feet which looked monstrous. The biggest thing was he had a long furry tail that resembled a…
"A-a Monkey…?" Hayato muttered as the said monkey retracted his long steel/gold staff retracted to a normal sized one like it was magic as he held it over his shoulder giving a smirk. He walked over to Hayato and gave his head a bonk with the staff.
"If you value your life kid , don't ever call me that…" He said strutting toward the old granny as Hayato rubbed his head.
He approached the granny as it was getting back up from the attack glaring at the monkey man. "Ugh.. Who would've guessed that the boy had the Monkey King reside in him. The Sun Wukong…" She sneered as the monkey man named Wukong just placed his feet on her face giving a bored look to her.
"Yeah, Yeah I heard it all, no need to go monologuing for so long. Seriously, why do all spirits do that? Now you're gonna say I'll get you back for this… right…right?" Wukong looked toward Hayato for confirmation as the boy looked at him just confused, finding this all bizarre.
"W-What?"
"Don't answer that!" Wukong dismissed waving his hands. "Now you, I think it's time for granny to go back to bed…" He suddenly put pressure into the old granny's head as she let out an ear piercing scream and crushed the old lady's head in killing her, spraying black blood everywhere.
"Oh my god…" Seeing the gruesome death Hayto suddenly vomited on the floor. He stared at the floor, not able to move until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Wukong's smirk. "Ah~ Don't feel bad for that old coot. Honestly if I didn't step in when I did, you would have lost your balls. So you're welcome."
Wukong got up walking toward the door inspecting it. Hayato got up still wondering who this guy is. "Hey, she called you Wukong, right the Monkey king from Chinese mythology?" Hayato recalled as he remembered reading about it in class before not giving it any thought. At Least until now.
"Yup the one and only" Wukong responded now putting his hands on the door feeling it up and down. "Not only that, I'm your spirit guardian. So in your terms your ally"
"Spirit Guardian. Fuck is even that?"
"Ehhh.. It's a long story. I need time explaining which is something we don't have. Your two girlfriends are in trouble right now."
"Two girlfriends…?" Hayato pondered until he remembered Ruby and Kana being attacked. "Wait, you're talking about Ruby and Kana! Oh shit!"
"Oh shit is right, that damn Old woman's husband kidnapped them…Probably doing some real nasty with em." He joked, Hayato glared at the monkey king. "The hell you say!"
"Relax boy…We'll save them once I open this damned magic sealed door. Oh… here it is." Wukong suddenly pulled some kind of paper off of the door giving it a magic glow. He opened the door and stared at Hayato urging him to come. You can sit here like a baby till I get back or you can come with me and help me out."
Hayato stared still hesitant if he can trust this guy but he needed to save Ruby… and Kana from whatever's got them.
"Fine then. Lead the way." Wukong smiled as they both headed out.
Outside the room looked very different then when Hayato came in. The hallways littered with lit candles, as the sky outside had a red hue. "This way, come." Wukong gestured as they started walking down the creepy halls.
"So how do we find my friends?" Hayato asked as Wukong just pointed at his nose. "I can track their scent; they both have a particular smell."
What do they smell like?" Hayato asked curiously as Wukong gave him a look.
"Ooh you wanna know do ya, I didn't know my guy had a smell fetish to him. Pervert." Wukong teased as Hayato blushed at the accusation.
"Woah hold up it's not like that! I just wanna-" He was interrupted by Wukong's loud laughing. "I'm messing with ya shorty, damn cant take a joke or what."
"Asshole"
"I may be an asshole but I'm the asshole you need…Wait that came out wrong." Wukong pondered as Hayato blankly stared at the monkey man. "Ah whatever you humans have a weird way of sayin' things honestly…"
They continued on their trek through the halls, Wukong making sure Hayato didn't step on anything he didn't need to. For what felt like five minutes of talking shit to each other they suddenly heard a cry from the halls.
HAYATO!" A voice sounding like Ruby echoed throughout the halls. "Ruby!" Hayato shouted, running toward the noise as Wukong followed close behind. They ran through the halls until they saw a door at the end. Running up to it, Hayato tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge so in desperation he tried to charge the door. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Wukong commented but Hayato chose to ignore him. "Shut up! Ruby's… On the other side…and we need to-Woah!"
He crashed through the door but upon doing so realized that at the other end there was no floor on the other side. As he was about to fall to his death Wukong quickly grabbed Hayato's shirt holding him over his demise. "Oh fuck there no floor." He gasped looking down at the deep hole.
"Yeah… A hole that if you had not heeded my warning wouldn't have fallen in." Wukong led him down as they both looked down at the dark chasm.
Hayato!" Ruby's voice sounded from the hole. Hayato grimaced hearing her as he stared desperately at the monkey man. "How do we get down?"
"Like this…" Hayato stared at Wukong as he pulled out what looked like yellow cotton candy and threw it. Suddenly it grew and made a platform. Wukong stepped on the yellow cloud wobbling like squishy jello and sat down patting a seat next to him as he gave the rapper a smile.
"Hold on…You want me to get on that thing? There's no way"
"Ugh by the gods! Hurry up and get on. We have no time for your cowardly antics." Wukong said in annoyance.
"I aint no coward!"
"Pussy~" Wukong challenged, as Hayato sneered at him. Having not wanted to look like a bitch he slowly but carefully put his foot on the yellow cloud but then suddenly slipped losing his balance and started falling down the hole screaming. "FFFUUUccckkkkk!"
Wukong let out a sigh watching him fall. "Well that's one way to get down. Alright! Let's go to Nimbus!" Wukong ordered the cloud as it flew down quickly. As Hayato fell into the hole he looked down to see that the ever growing ground was actually full of flames. He screamed louder at his doom until he felt a cushion on him.
Realizing that he didn't die as he felt the yellow cloud on his body he breathed a sigh of relief. Until he heard laughter beside him. "Oh man that funny y-you were all like Ahhhhh Oh man that made my day." Wukong swiped a tear from his eye as he finished making fun of Hayato.
"Man fuck you! I thought I was gonna die."
"But you didn't," Wukong teased as Hayato grumbled to himself as they floated back up to where they needed to go. After getting to a ledge they walked over hopping off the cloud as it dissipated.
They now were upon an huge ancient looking gate. Wukong took a big whiff as his face hardened almost at what he smelled was rancid. "I can smell them right here, as well as the Dirty Old Man…Be ready." Wukong upholstered his staff as Hayato took a breath in anticipation as to what's to come.
Upon opening the gate it was a massive room like an arena. There were candles to the walls and dried up blood everywhere they could see. But also someone laying on the floor.
"Ruby!" Hayato yelled as he rushed in as Wukong took a look around in paranoia, Hayato slid beside her and tried to wake her up. It didn't work so he checked her pulse, he sighed in relief seeing that she was still alive. "She's knocked out but at least she's alive…but… where's Kana?" Hayato looked around but found no trace of his Senpai.
The sounds of footsteps sounded catching the two attention. They stared to see Kana limping towards them but something wasn't right. She had dark veins around her and one of her eyes was a shade of black.
"Kana-senpai!" Hayato ran towards her but was stopped by Wukong's staff from going further. "Hey what's the big idea?!"
"Don't go near her." Wukong warned as he stepped in front of him protectively. "It seems that the old man has possession of her."
Kana twitched her head at them the sound of bones cracking as she lifted her head. She then gave then a creepy little smile sending chills down Hayato's spine.
"Hehehehe It seems you have found me and just when I was about to consume that other girl." Kana said but her voice sounded like an old man. She looked around and spotted Hayato then gave an annoyed look.
"Tch I was hoping that old bitch would've gotten his soul but it seems like you stopped her from finishing. This…This will not do…"
Wukong stepped forward readying his staff. "So old man why don't you make this easy for all of us and let the girl go."
"Wukong… I think you already know my answer but… I am going to consume this one's soul and when I do I will do the same to the blonde girl and the boy."
"Come on~ Not even for…THIS!" Wukong pulled out what looked like…a coupon for 15% off at Mcdonalds….The possessed Kana stared at him with an unimpressed look as Hayato stared in disbelief.
"A coupon…really?!" Hayato shouted, as Wukong gave him a shrug. " What… Just think about it, I heard their ice cream is really good."
"Their ice cream machines never work! And that coupon already expired" Hayato pointed out as Wukong looked at the coupon and saw that it expired a year ago. He went on his knees in sadness and cried to the heavens in despair. "Nooooooooo!"
As the two were having a fit over the coupon the possessed Kana just stared at the two slowly growing angry at their antics. "Enough! Your foolish comedy act has grown tired to me. I think it's time I execute you all." It let out a burst of aura blowing strong winds in all directions.
"Shit I think we made it mad…" Hayato groaned as Wukong stood up completely over the coupon as he whispered closely to Hayato.

"Listen Kid here's the plan, we're gonna get that bastard out of her and when we do… you take her and the blonde one and get out ya hear. Wukong explained as Hayato nodded
"That won't happen, you overgrown ape!" The possessed Kana rushed in with a strike but only hit air as Wukong was faster. Jumping in the air the Monkey King struck down at Kana making her slide back.
"I'm a monkey dumbass, get it right."
They clashed again, Wukong thrusting his staff at a rapid pace but Kana either blocked or dodged his attacks. Kana jumped up high, readying herself as she came down fast at him. Using his athleticism he dodged out the way as she stomped making the ground crumble.
"Stay still you damned animal!" Kana growled, turning toward him but was surprised when she saw a warthog charging at her sending her across the room.
The warthog puffed out air through its nose as a light covered it shifted back to Wukong. Hayato looked in awe at Monkey spirit; he had to rub his eyes to make sure what he was seeing was even real.
"You can turn into an animal?!" Hayato yelled, eyes popping out.
"Of course I can stupid, have you not heard my legend, y'know the Journey to the West?"
"W-well I wasn't really one to pay attention in history class so..." Hayato rubbed his head as Wukong gave an annoyed stare. Suddenly he was hit by a black blob sending him soaring.
The attack came from Kana as the blob retracted back into her arm. She then turned her glowing eyes on Hayato and rushed towards him
"Oh shit!" Hayato scrambled back as she lunged at him, tackling him onto the ground.
She threw punches at him which he dodge leaving a cracks on the floor. Not wanting to see what would happen if his face was next he continued to dodge. After a couple near death experiences he countered hitting her hard in the jaw as he kicked her off him.
Crawling away he looked around and found a piece of rubble. He grabbed it and made his way over to smash her face in while she was stunned but suddenly Kana turned around and her face was normal again.
She looked around confused and scared as she stared at the young rapper. "H-hayato…please…help me…" She whimpered as Hayato gave a brief pause before dropping the stone block on the floor.
"Senpai…I-I didn't…" Hayato muttered.
"Get away kid, it's a trick!" Wukongs voice yelled from up high. Hayato turned and spotted a falcon flying at them at high speeds. Wukong shifted back and gave the possessed redhead a kick in the stomach.
She slid back holding her stomach in pain as her eyes glared red at the primate. "Ugh I was close just a little bit and I would have-" Then her eyes went wide as she covered her mouth.
"Mrgh! Mghn!" It looked like the kick affected her more than she thought because she suddenly started vomiting black goop on the floor, an absurd amount. The two cringed at the action as it went on for another couple seconds until she stopped.
She collapsed on the floor as the puked started to soon move around. Black puke soon shifted and morphed making cracking sounds, forming into a humanoid figure. Eyes glowed from its head as it glared at Wukong.
"You just had to push and push did you. Ya damned dirty mongrel. I will make you pay…"
Wukong rushed in, quickly avoiding another attack as he grabbed Kana putting her on his shoulders then retreating away from the sludge monster.
"Kana is she…" Hayato muttered.
"She's alright, just knocked out. Lets escape now before that fucker gets any funny ideas. Nimbus!" Wukong called as the flying cloud came in ready for them to board.
Hayato retrieved Ruby, making sure not to do any more damage as all four of them climbed on.
"NOOO! YOUR NOT GETTING AWAY!" The sludge creature yelled, sending several sludge tentacles their way. Wukong spun his staff, blocking the attack as it dissipated.
"Sorry to keep this short but we'll be on our way. I'm not out to play around in dirt, gotta keep it nice and spiffy." Wukong joked as they floated away. The sludge spirit glared then suddenly started growing in size. He grew until reached the ceiling.
"Oh shit…" Wukong cursed, staring wide-eyed.
"Holy Crap he's huge!" Hayato screamed as Wukong motioned for the Nimbus to hurry and escape as the spirit chased after them.
They flew up quickly from the hole dodging attack after attack. One attack almost caused the knocked out Ruby to fly off but Hayato grabbed her before she did.
"Hey if this keeps up we're all not gonna make it!"
"Shut up and hold tight!" They flew until they reached the door going in the sludge monster squeezing through. As they flew through the halls of the mansion they could see the entrance.
"Come…back…HERE!"
The nimbus breaks through into the outside of the night. They land as the spirit tries to make one final attempt. It was stopped by what seemed like an invisible force. It screamed in rage as it was still trapped in the mansion.
(Music stops)
"Were safe right…?" Hayato asked as the monkey king huffed through his nostrils. "Of course we are, spirits like these are always bound to one place. It won't get us."
Hayato went on his knees giving a sigh of relief at the end of this nightmare. "Whatever you say bruh…God man.." Hayato soon noticed that it had gone quiet and looked up. The moon was back to normal and the sounds of the sludge ghost was gone but one other person was also missing.
"Wukong?" He looked around but didn't spot the said monkey man. "Hey man, where'd you gone off too."
"Hayato…" The sound of Ruby's voice called. He turned to see her waking up with Kana also awake rubbing her head. "Ow, Why do I feel like I was ran over by a train?" Kana moaned.
"Ruby! You're alright!" Hayato exclaimed as he went to help her up.
"Why are we outside?" Ruby asked, looking toward him for an explanation. As Hayato was going to explain what happened, he heard a familiar voice in his head.
"Don't tell them anything…If you value their safety…I will explain when the time comes boy…for now just lie"
Hayato's eyes widened, surprised at the fact he heard Wukong in his head. He thought that he should tell them but when he thought about it…they'd probably think he's crazy.
"Hey Cornrows! What the hell happened?" Kana demanded getting Hayato's head out of his mind.
"W-well when you guys left me I heard a scream and… found you guys knocked out on the floor." He half-lied. "Don't know what scared you guys but I brought ya'll out here to get some air."
Kana stared in disbelief but Ruby scrunched her eyes at the info. "Did you do anything to us while we were knocked out?" Ruby asked, looking straight at him as the boy held his hands up in defense. "I swear…I just sat here watching over you guys."
She continued staring at him as sweat dripped down his face feeling he didn't get through to her. Until her eyes calm down. "Ok… I believe you…" The boy smiled glad that she at least trusts him
"Did we even get any footage?" Kana asked as Hayato shook his head. "Welp then you know what that means…" The redhead gave a cheshire smile as the rapper groaned already knowing what she meant.
"I hate haunted houses…."
"SHIRANUI!" "FRILL!" Both Indy and Nori screamed as the Possessed Chiyo's attack came closer to her. Frill closed her eyes waiting for the upcoming attack but it never came. Opening her eyes she sees that the incoming hand was being blocked by a glowing bubble shield.
"WHAT!" Chiyo screamed as she pounded on the shield but it had no effect. Suddenly the sound of a Shamisen string rang across and Chiyo's monstrous hand burst into flames. She howled in pain releasing Indy, Nori , and the Oni as she tried to put out the fire. The trio backed away, coming to Shiranui's side as now a tune following a woman singing sounded around them.

"Nori what's going on?" Indy asked as the wolf spirit looked around trying to locate the source. "That singing sounds so familiar could it actually be…" Nori theorized.
"My,my,my am I late to the party" A woman's voice echoed suddenly behind them.
The clanking of wooden sandals sounded behind them, looking back the four spotted a geisha looking woman with black hair in a Katsura. The woman wore a white fox mask with glowing amber eyes. Behind her swished 9 grey fox tails as she walked slowly toward them continuing her singing. She approached them as she finally finished her verse.
(Music stops)
She tilted her head, staring playfully at them, specifically Frill. "Hmmm, I finally got to meet my cute master… such a wondrous day." She stared at the guys. "Indy the boy with the starry eyes, Nori the spirited dog, and the oh so silent warrior Oni." She nodded at the Oni as it didn't give a response.
"Master? Do you mean me?" Frill asked, observing the mysterious woman.
"That's right Master~, You may call me Tamamo no Mae or Mae if you prefer." Mae stated, swishing her tails behind her. "I heard your call and came to your side."
"That voice in my head… was you?" Frill asked as Mae nodded she then saw the state of Indy and the Oni with cuts and bruises on them. "Oh my it seems you both took quite the beating here…'Cura'" She spoke waving her hand as a green glow appeared on them both."
Indy felt a warm wave come over him as his wounds started to heal the same with the Oni. Even their outfits were fixed. Indy took a deep breath, finally rid of the pain. "Woah I feel warm all of a sudden…weird but a good weird. Thanks Fox Lady." Indy thanked, as she nodded at him.
"Lady Tamamo" Nori bowed. "Please I ask you to assist us in defeating the spirit. With your prowess in Magic and the Oni's combat finesse we can stop her and get these two out." He motioned over to the possessed Chiyo still flailing about trying desperately to put out the fire.
"Of course~ I am happy to assist in your situation…" Suddenly her eyes widened to attention as she raised her hand lifting Frill up and jumping away. The Oni did the same grabbing Indy quickly by the shoulder jumping away from a sudden attack from Chiyo. "Whoa-SHIT!" They landed putting the teens down and came in front of them protectively.
"YOU FUCKIN BITCH!" Chiyo's voice thundered, now rid of the fire staring angrily at Mae. "Look what you did to my beautiful arm; I'll make you pay for that you damned Widowed Vixen!"
"Ara~ I like to think I did you a favor by getting rid of that grotesque arm." Mae teased as Chiyo growled at the fox woman. Mae made a glance at the Oni. "Mr. Oni I trust you to assist me in how do humans say…. Putting the beat down." The Oni gave her a sideway glance saying nothing but unsheathe his sword and took a battle ready stance.
"Most excellent…" Mae turned to the teens. "I recommend you children stay back, things could get a little messy." She conjured up some magic spheres standing beside the Oni.
"Good luck!" "Knock-em dead Oni!" The teens cheered making their way for cover.

The spirit woman lunged, her limbs slicing through the air with a swift whoosh. "You will regret this!" she screeched, striking toward them with a terrifying speed.
"Look out!" Indy and Shiranui shouted, as the spirits both sprang aside just in time. The ground split beneath the spirit's attack, sending dirt and debris flying into the air.
"Watch your back!" Mae called out, her playful demeanor shifting to one of focus. "I'll assist you up from back here. You strike in close!"
The Oni nodded, his jaw tightening as he gripped the hilt of his katana. With a roar, he charged forward, muscles rippling under his skin as he closed the distance between himself and the possessed Chiyo.
"That same attack won't work again Oni!" the spirit taunted, her voice dripping with disdain as she launched another attack. Mae took a deep breath, her hands weaving through the air. "Fira!" she chanted, sending a burst of flames toward the spirit. The fire crackled and hissed as it flew, lighting up the dim street as it hit its mark.
The spirit shrieked, twisting its body in pain. "You will pay for that!" she howled, her limbs flailing wildly. Mae couldn't help but laugh. "She's as graceful as a drunken crane!" she teased, her eyes sparkling as she cast another spell (Baria), a shimmering barrier forming around the Oni. "Go, my barrier will protect you!"
The Oni now invigorated by her support, lunged at the spirit with a fierce battle cry. His katana sliced through the air, a deadly arc aimed at the spirit. He wasn't done as he sliced horizontally at her side causing her to bleed blood.
"Watch out!" Mae warned, anticipating the spirit's counter. She hurled another fireball, this one bursting against the spirit's arm, causing her to retract in pain. The Oni jumped out of the way, landing near Tamamo. "For an old spirit you're fast, I'm impressed." "She teased.
The Oni gave an annoyed grunt at the statement, his focus unwavering on the possessed as he rushed in to continue his relentless assault. The spirit, now furious, extended her limbs in a desperate attempt to fend them off. "You cannot defeat me! I will make sure to consume your souls if it's the last thing I DO!" she screeched, her voice a chilling echo.
The Fox spirit, unfazed, grinned at the Oni. "Let's 'amp' things up as they say?" She waved her hands again, and the air shimmered with electrical energy. "Thundara!"
Suddenly, a storm of electricity erupted around the spirit, dancing and twisting as it shocked the spirit. The spirit shrieked, but her cries were drowned out by the roar of the flames."No! This cannot be!"
"Now, Mr Oni!" Mae shouted, and the blue-skinned warrior lunged forward. With a swift, powerful strike, he brought his katana down, cutting quickly as he landed.
"Huh?! Nothing happened?" Chiyo mutters confused but then the Oni sheaths his sword slowly until it makes a clink as Chiyo's neck bursts into a shower of blood.
The spirit howled in agony as it soon fell silent and the giant body fell shaking the ground. The two teens and dog saw the fallen Chiyo and cheered for their two spirits.
(Music stop)
Mae laughed, a light, musical sound that echoed through the night air. "Fufufu, Well…that was invigorating as I do say so myself. Maybe a little less blood next time." The Oni gave an annoyed sigh, but put his hand on her shoulder as if thanking her.
Mae stared at his hand then at him and gave him a scary smile. "While I appreciate your sentiments…What I don't appreciate is having my clothes stained with blood." The Oni quickly relieved his hand from her then gave a small bow to her apologizing. She sighed as she waved her hand, sucking out all the blood from her shoulder.
"You did it!" Shiranui said, coming over with the other two in tow. "Yeah! Ya kick her ass alright. How come ya couldnt do that earlier. You were getting your ass beat." Indy stated, as the Oni responded by bonking him on his head causing yet another bump to grow on his head.
"Yes… besides Indy's comedy routine, we still need Chiyo's body to get us back." Nori explained as the Oni went into the possessed spirits corpse and started digging through causing all but Nori to reel in disgust. He dug through the blood and guts until he pulled out the green hair woman no worse for wear except all the blood on her. He placed her down next to them.
"Is she alive?" Shiranui asked as she went to check, then gave a sigh of relief when she felt a heartbeat. Even if the woman troubled Mr Okanda she didn't deserve something like this to happen to her. "She's alive…thank goodness."
"Good, Now if you will, Shiranui-san." Nori said, approaching Chiyo as she got out of his way. The dog closed his eyes as he started chanting an unknown language after less then a minute passed. A swirling portal rears open in front of them.
"This is it! Indy if you will carry Ms Chiyo through the portal."
"Do I have to…" Indy complained but Nori gave him a glare. "Ok, ok relax, I'll do it. She better not turn back into that thing again." Nori nodded as he glanced atFrill. "Well it's about time we head out."
Shiranui nodded but then glanced at the Oni and Maeseeing as they were not following them. "Will the two of you not join us?"
"Mae gave a playful look as she chuckled. "Silly Master of course we are, but not like this." After saying that the two spirits glowed forming a wisp of light that soon flew into Indy and Shiranui's chest.
"Woah, that's a weird feeling." Indy groaned, as Frill turned toward him. "It must be a way for them to recover their energy by entering our souls." Frill summarized.
"Good guess though it's a bit more complicated for that, but that's for another day. Let's head on out shall we." Nori said as he walked into the swirling portal. The two teens gave a look at each other then shrugged following after him.
They arrived back exactly where they were before, the red hue in the sky was gone and brought back the white glow from the moon. Indy took a deep breath with relief in his eyes.
"We're back, man I do not…wanna do that again." Indy adjusted his grip on Chiyo as Nori and Shiranui came through the portal closing behind them.
"I'm still a little distorted from the process." Shiranui held her head in discomfort, going through the portal felt like going on a jacky rollercoaster.
"The effects of the portal should subside in a minute." Nori explained.
"So now that we're back, what do we do with her?" Indy gestured at the knocked out Chiyo in his arms.
"Hey! You two." A voice shouted, they glanced around finding a police officer with an annoyed look. "Do you two know what time it is? You should be home now and W-whos this?" The officer glanced at Chiyo giving Indy a suspicious look. "Mind explaining what's going on?"
"Wait hold up, it's not what it looks like." Indy said not wanting to let a misunderstanding happen but Shiranue came in trying to calm the man. "Let us explain sir…"
They told him about the Incident earlier that day leaving out all the paranormal stuff. The officer after listening understood the situation. "I see…still though. I'm sorry to say but I have to ask you two to come with me to the station."
The two teens plus dog gave the officer a confused look. "For what reason I should ask." Indy said.
"We've been having reports on young teens and adults roaming about in the area, locals say they're a part of an illegal street racing gang. I don't wanna assume but I have to ask you guys to come with me for safety reasons." The officer explained.
"I see… When you say it like that then—" Shiranui said.
"Nah I refuse." Indy said immediately causing everyone else to be taken aback. "Look man I get whatcha sayin and all, but me and her are not the people you're looking for."
"I insist for your-"
"It's still no man…"
"Indy! I think we should listen—" Shiranui said, not wanting to upset the officer more.
"Shiranui, it's fine. What's the worst he's gonna do arrest me… Ooh I'm so scared." Indy waved him off.
After insulting the officer he left to go open his car and get in. Lets just say the Officer quickly arrested him and put him in handcuffs. Of course Indy tried fighting back shouting "This is a free country! I know my rights!" The officer quickly put him in the back of the police car with Chiyo. Shiranui and Nori after witnessing Indy's dull headed nature gave a blank stare. It looks like they're going to the station whether they like it or not.
Aqua Hoshino sat on a bench outside a room at the station. He could still hear the cries of Akane. Earlier that day Akane wasn't responding to the Love now group chat. They were worried after the Incident with her and Yuki, especially after what was happening online. After seeing a text saying she was going out Aqua and the cast of 'Love Now' immediately thought the worst and went into action. Luckily he found her just in time as she was on top of some rails ready to jump to her death into oncoming traffic. Having grabbed the blue haired girl away from death she immediately started thrashing around saying to let her go. Aqua quickly calmed her down telling her he's not her enemy. After that a police officer found them and thus here we are.
He sat there in his heart darken at the fact that this young teenage girl almost off herself because of some damn love show making her out to be a villain. Of course he knew from the start that things like this were just common. Producers and editors will try to manipulate the film to a certain degree to make profit out of dramatizing shots. That's the way this industry is built. But to do this to a young girl was going too far.
Suddenly he heard the heels hitting the floor of the station, he turned to see a familiar brown hair adoptive mother walking toward him. A brown jacket and cup of water in hand.
"I prepared myself for the worst when they called me over," Miyako sat down next to Aqua before raising her hand onto Aqua's head. "but you did well, Aqua. I'm proud of you."
Aqua dismissively turned his head away. "Though you seem disinterested in others, you were watching out for her." Miyako smiled teasingly.
"It's not like that." resting his head, against the pale wall. "People die easily. When someone cries out for help, if you don't act quickly, it will be too late." Aqua answered, before pondering on the thought a second longer.
"...And I made a... promise to look out for her." Hearing silence, he turned his eyes to see Miyako giving him a proud slightly embarrassed he turned away. "I'll charge Akane for the taxi fare later."
"Stingy, aren't you?"
Hearing the sounds of footsteps and a crowd of ragged breathing teens in the hallway, the door next to Aqua opened as Akane exited the room.
"Akane!" A black haired girl named Yuki shouted as she suddenly slap Akane in the face.
Akane reeling back from the slap, she felt her cold cheek burn before opening her blue eyes to see Yuki in tears in front of her. Before anyone else could do or say anything, Yuki slowly embraced Akane.
The old woman beside Akane, her mother, gave a look in shock at the girl slapping her daughter but quickly calmed down after seeing this girl embrace her..
"Why'd you worry us like this?!" She uttered her voice in crumbles as she hugged Akane gently. "Why?! You can always talk to me!"
Akane felt her eyes swelling up again. "Sorry." Akane apologised, as she felt Yuki crying into her shoulder.
"Akane."The blue haired actress blinked, she turned her attention to Aqua who had stood up from his seat staring straight at her.
Behind him were the rest of the cast of 'Love Now' here,for her, by her side. She felt glad but guilty at the same time for making them worry over her.
"So, how do you want to proceed?" Aqua continued.
"How?" She asked confused as everyone looked at him feeling the same. "I'm saying that stepping down from the show is an option." Aqua suggested, surprising everyone.
"But, she's under contract…" Nobu pointed out but Aqua dismissed it immediately shaking his head..
"Given the show's crew is dealing with minors, the director could be held accountable. Under the circumstances, I doubt they'd raise objections if she says she's willing to pull out." Aqua explained.
"You're working under your real name of Akane Kumogawa. So, choose the right time to call it quits on your own."
Akane dipped her head, pondering on what he said. Aqua was right, she now had the opportunity to leave the show and everything behind.A freedom gifted to her only because of her circumstances. She couldn't bare to face any harsh comments, one more disappointed fan or another mocking remark.
"I... have worked so hard all this time so l can become a more famous actress and keep performing." She muttered her voice quiet, as it began to waver. "Everyone helped me so much along the way... but things turned out like this."Her body shook as she grip her hands in front of her lap. "I'm scared... I'm really scared, but..."
"I'll stay..." She answered, raising her head with tears in her eyes but at the same time determined. "I don't want to quit like this!"
Everyone heard the firm statement in her voice.
"Understood." Aqua said, as if already knowing the outcome before turning his head around to look at the group. "You heard her."
"You're all okay with that, right?"
Nobuyuki and Kengo were the first to state their feelings on the matter.
"Of course we are."
"That's what we've been saying from the start."
"We'll do our best to support you, okay?" Yuki said as she and Memcho came to her side and Kengo and Nobu stood behind the three.
Aqua walked back next to Miyako, not wanting to disrupt their cheery uproar.
"I see the cast all gets along well, huh?" Miyako said, as she and Aqua watched the group get along.
"Well, we're all around the same age, after all." Aqua replied dryly. "I think we can all work together and see the show through the end, no matter what people say." Aqua turned away as he began walking through the police hallway.
"That said, the current—Huh?" Aqua stopped midway as Miyako took notice of his abrupt voice, she turned to see what made him stop.
"Hey, what's wron—Eh?! Is that…" She muttered in disbelief.
What they both saw was Indy being escorted by a police officer in handcuffs. He currently was yelling at the guy making rude comments at the man in blue.
"I swear I'll break out of these cuffs Ow! Hey! Watch the wrists will ya."His handcuffed wrists rattled against the metal, creating a sharp *clink-clink* that matched the tension in the air.
Miyako rushed over to their eyes in shock."Indy!" Her voice was a whip of authority, cutting through the chaos. Indy hearing the familiar voice turned confused but changed to relief after seeing who it was. "Miyako!"
The officer turned toward her, brow furrowed. "Do you know this boy?" He gestured to Indy, who was still thrashing against the officer's grip.
Miyako's jaw tightened. "Yes, I'm his guardian. Why is he being detained?" Her tone was ice, and her gaze bore into the officer as if she could melt him down with sheer will.
The officer cleared his throat, a hint of irritation creeping into his voice. "He was refusing to comply when I asked him to get into my vehicle. Committing constant disorderly conduct, as well as struggling with an officer during an arrest."
"You forgot this too!" Indy turned around and gave him the bird adding insult to injury. "I just don't take orders from people who think they can boss me around for no good reason!"
Miyako's eyes narrowed, and she shot him a pointed look that said more than words ever could. *Shut up and stay quiet. You're in trouble, you know that?* Indy felt the weight of her disappointment pressing on him, but he refused to back down.
As all this was going on the 'Love Now' cast took notice of the comotion and walked over next to Aqua.
"Who's that?" Yuki asked Aqua as he sighed. "I hate to say it but it's… my younger brother."
The group yelled in surprise, the teen that was in cuffs was Aqua's own younger brother. "Eh?! your brother?" Yuki gasped out.
"No way"
"Your brother huh" Memcho looked between the two seeing basically polar opposites between the siblings. One being stoic and calm while the other…loud and proud. "How the hell are you related?"
"I don't know…" Aqua gave her a deadass stare almost like a soldier with PTSD.
"Will he be okay?" Akane muttered in concern. Aqua pondered a bit then shrugged. "Not when he gets home." The group stared at him in disbelief seeing this rare side of Aqua.
While the group stood by, Miyako was currently having a heated argument with the officer. The officer in question was trying to diffuse the situation but Miyako wasn't making it any easier.
"Look Miss if you would please understand that-" The officer tried to explain once more but was stopped as a tall figure loomed over him and Indy. Miyako stopped herself to look upon the new figure. The man was tall, probably 6'0 slicked back black hair while his facial hair was trimmed to a pure goatee. He wore uniform pants and a uniform shirt that was rolled up and by the looks of it he was built.
"What seems to be the problem here…?" The tall figure asked, his voice gruff and menacing as he gave a stern glare at the officer.
"C-Chief Shiranui!" The officer blurted out revealing the intimidating man. Indy eyes widen in shock 'Shiranui…does that mean this guy is…' Indy then noticed someone behind the guy was Frill with Nori by her side.
"S-sir if I may explain, this young man here was failing to comply with orders from a police officer."
The man pondered for a bit, staring at the officer then Indy, his face unchanged. "I see…Well I'll handle it from here, go back to your station."
"B-but sir…"
The man gave his glare again a bit more intense that everyone around him could feel it. "I'm not asking." The officer nodded and quickly made his way down the hall leaving them.
Chief Shiranui walked up to Indy and suddenly grabbed his cuffed hands. Indy was about to retaliate but Frill gave him a look that said 'It's fine you, can trust him'. He scrunched his face but relaxed nodding to her as he didn't make any further fuss.
The Chief then proceeded to uncuff him, letting him free. "Alright thanks man ya saved my-"
"Don't push it-" Chief Shiranui interrupted. "If it were any other day I would have you in that cell a long time ago."
"Father!" Shiranui pleaded Indy scrunched his face at that comment.
"The only reason I'm doing this is because my daughter explained to me what you did during an incident at one of her jobs."
"Incident?! Indy, what did you do?" Miyako questioned as the Chief officer fixed his yellow eyes toward her. "Are you his mother?" She nodded in reply.
"My name is Kiryu Shiranui, the Chief of this station." He introduced. " The incident I mentioned happened earlier today when a woman raided with two other men at a studio. They were causing property damage and held one of the renters hostage. Your son here was the one who stopped them."
Miyako looked shocked she knew Indy would get into fights in middle school but this was different. She thought of the worst that could happen to him.
"As a parent I understand how you feel, especially nowadays with the rise of street racing gangs. This is why we ask all parents to make sure their children are home within curfew."
"I see… I am very sorry as well for my son's behavior earlier." She bowed but also grabbed Indy by the head and made him bow as well. "Come on say it!" Indy then hesitantly apologized as well. "My bad and all."
Kiryu nodded as he turned to walk away. "Frill were leaving! I'm driving you home." The green eyed actress looked back on her father then back at Indy and Miyako. She then walked up to him cupping her mouth to his ear. "We'll talk later." She then turned to follow her giant of a father down the hall.
Indy stared down the hall watching Frill walk away. At Least for a moment because he soon felt someone harshly tugging his ear. "OW! Hey!"
"You're in big trouble, Indigo Hoshino! When we get home I'm taking away those exclusive car magazines you hide under the bed."
"Wait you can't do that, those are limited edition! Ah Ow You gonna pull my earlobe out!
"Watch me!" Miyako proceeds to drag Indy down the hall, continuing his embarrassment.
Aqua and Nori plus the Love Now' group watched them go thinking to themselves 'What the fuck did we just witness'.
"You have a… really unique family huh Aqua-kun" Mem-cho commented as the others nodded.
Aqua sighed to himself as thought about his life. "That I do…"
So this is the part where I explain myself. Well one I haven't updated in 2 months cause of work and the holidays. The holidays have been busy where I work so it left me with no energy to work on the story. Another thing is my grandma has been dealing with stage 4 cancer. My family have been visiting her whenever we can but every time we went it seemed like she was getting worse. Then on January 7 during the California fires my grandma passed away due to cancer. Honestly me and my family knew this would happen but it's hard... very hard. I took a few days to grieve but then started working on the story again. Don't worry about me though even if you feel sorry and stuff I thank you but I'm strong and I'm gonna continue being strong for her sake and my family's sake. She lived a good life...
Anyways that's pretty much sums up my time between the update and now. Now for the story I'm still planning on continuing it, I was considering to myself to make a new story but then I saw a comment by a fan and I felt so guilty that I was like I'm gonna write for sure this time. This chapter had a lot of fight scenes and switching between characters and places so it was kinda difficult but nothing I cant handle. Still my writing sucks ass still so yeah... pretty much my first time doing that so let me know how I did. We also got introduced to a lot of characters like 2 new spirits and Shiranui's dad!
We have Wukong the famous monkey king from the journey to the west. I wanted to make him kinda of a loving asshole type of character cause it matches with Hayato's character a bit. Gonna have fun writing him. Also Tamamo no Mae the 9 tailed fox woman, I chose her cause I found her backstory to be interesting it somthing I will touch on the further we go into the story. I hope your ok with her personality as being a teasing mother like person. I will upload their art in my deviantart page too so check it out. torenter528
Now Shiranui's dad Kiryu, Your probably all thinking Kiryu like Kiryu kazuma from the Yakuza seriers its a yes and no. While yes he kinda looks like him if you wanna imagine it like that. He is a cop chief of police specifically so he will be one of the obstacles in Indy's adventure. For why I made him the way he is as Shiranui's dad, there's not a lot of info on her parents so I have to make one up. And don't think he will be like an abuser for frill, he's more like a very strict protective father, but still loves her. Its kinda hard writing very serious characters like him and Aqua so yeah...
Anyway that's all I have to say be sure to like and comment on the story it gets me more motivated to continue this story I have so many ideas...that I haven't drafted but that will happen when it comes. So see ya next time.
