General Ironwood's armored car stopped. Ironwood exited the vehicle. He walked towards the Altas Peacekeeper Crime Investigation Unit. A healer was tending to the Locke's driver who was rubbing the back of his head.

"What does he recall?" asked Ironwood.

"A young lady with bright red hair and nothing else."

The frost covered windows prevented a view of the interior of the vehicle. Opening the rear door proved difficult since ice covered the outline of the door. A couple stiff tugs got the door opened allowing the cold mist to drift from the inside of the vehicle. The mist cleared allowing Ironwood to stare at the frozen corpse of Councilmember Locke Thurman.

Picking up a hand full of hale, "Hale in the middle of a controlled warm weather," throwing the hale onto the ground.

"Sir, it seems the machine used the motor to bring the internal temperature hundred degrees below zero. It looks he died a quick death."

Somehow Ironwood doubted Locke dead quickly and felt the icy grip of death.

Ducking into the library, Ruby hid among the shelves of forgotten lore. Well, lore that wasn't based on cheesy melodramatic. Stalked by an unknown adversary with unknown intentions.

"Ruuuby, you are monologuing again," drifted among the dust covered classics.

"Young lady, I do a good job keeping dust off these books."

Covering her mouth since screaming wasn't allowed in the library.

Diving into a conference room, "She's coming for me," mumbled Ruby hiding under a desk, "I know it," bringing her knees to her chest.

"I'm already here," whispered Blake entering Ruby Rose's field of sight.

"AHHHH!" running from under desk.

A wall blocked her escape.

Screaming, Ruby Rose cowered in a corner, "ahhhh," screamed Ruby Rose through her hands covering her mouth.

Slowing walking towards the cowering Ruby, "The time has come."

"To speak of many things like shoes, ships, and sealing wax. Cabbages, kings, queens, and eating pork and beans. Why the sea is boiling hot? Whether pig have to sleep in blankets to fly."

"No, Ruby. It's time for you to return my book you've had since Winter semester giving you enough time to finish it."

"Oh," standing up, "Here you go," handing Blake back her book, "Don't worry," nudging Blake with her elbow, "I memorized all the good parts," winking at Blake.
