"Considered to be the originators of all bipedal mammals, these hardened warriors were one of the first races to be created by the Ancient Gods. Saiyans formed their Dynasty and became one of the strongest empires in the multiverse. The favor of the Gods was however, decreasing. Their maverick tendencies and lust for battle had made them powerful enough to rival their makers. Through all odds, these creatures fought their way in the Multiversal War and defeated every universe during The Age Of Ashes (AA)."

The sun blazed down upon the dusty wasteland where stood the most powerful beings in the world. Frowns of disapproval marred some faces, while shock and fear made themselves appear onto others. An air of silence surrounded the warriors present. Each holding his breath and watching the horrid scene that played out before him.
Gone was the confident cocky attitude of the once mighty Cell and was replaced by what seemed a cowering frightened little boy. His eyes were nearly bulging out of their sockets as he took sharp painful breaths. Spit and phlegm dripped freely on the bloody ground he knelt on.
With hazy vision, the bio-android stared at the little Saiyan boy. Less than three times his size, this beast had toyed with him and took great joy in his suffering.
"Y-You... You are no b-boy..." His voice was shaky and very much unbecoming of a warrior of his caliber. "You are a monster... A monster..."
A smirk was all he got in return before he felt something strange inside his chest. A sensation that made him shiver and flinch in despair. Raising his right hand to wipe the fluids from his mouth, he shifted, only to scream out in pain as his chest began to expand.
His body convulsed and a seizure like phenomenon took place. Something inside was moving. Before he knew it, his hands were planted on the ground and he started to vomit.
White body fluids hit the ground along with something solid. His chest returned to it's mean position and he breathed an air of relief. However that was short lived as he glanced at the excreted matter.
There lay before him, a blonde woman, an all too familiar blonde woman. Eyes widening in shock and fear, he yelled out a howl of frustation. His body glowed in vibrant bright light and he panicked.
He could feel his body changing, his power decreasing. Alas, fate played a cruel game. His body was reverted back to his Semi-Perfect form. He let out yet another yell, this one in dismay and fear.
His eyes fell onto Android 18's unconscious body, then upon his greatest challenge. Beads of sweat ran down from his neck and forehead. He considered reabsorbing the woman but the glare he received held him at bay.
He gulped and jumped a few meters back in order to gain some distance. There was no doubt in his mind that this battle was lost. Even with perfection, he fell short. Cell clenched his fists in anger and gritted his teeth.
"What have you done to me?!" He spat at the monstrosity before him. "You fucking halfbreed!"
"I was perfect in every sense! How... How could a snot nosed brat bring me to this pitful state!" He screamed into the heavens and flared his aura. "THIS CANNOT BE!"
"Don't look so angry, Cell. After all," Gohan taunted and tilted his head to his side. "this is what you wanted."
"FUCk YOU, BOY!" Cell cursed, the situation and his condition madr him lose all his composure. "TOY WITH ME, WILL YOU!"
The android took a deep breath and hunched over with his arms at his side and fists clenched. An aura surrounded his form and debris floated in the air due to the magnitude of his energy.
Suddenly, Cell let out a scream to the heavens and channeled his Ki into his body. Veins bulged at his neck as he concentrated.
Watching the scene unfold before him, Gohan ignored the warrior and walked towards the unconscious body of Android 18. His strides were long but slow. Each foot touching the ground very gently. He then bent upon one knee and checked the woman's neck for a pulse.
Feeling a steady rythm against his fingers, the boy picked her up in his arms and flew towards the cliff where his friends were present. Upon arriving, he set the girl down at the feet of Piccolo and turned towards the battlefield.
"Take care of her." His voice was a bit raspier than usual, deep even, but hadn't lost completely the familiar sound.
That was all he said and took off. Landing in front of Cell, he took a deep breath. His eyes were locked with the android who had just came to a stop and he braced himself before launching.
Gohan punched Cell on his right cheek which made him stagger towards his left before delivering a devastating kick into his stomach. Cell doubled over and took a few steps back from him and gasped desperately for air.
Not letting him recover, Gohan planted his right elbow into Cell's maxilla, effectively breaking it with an audible crunch. A smirk made it's way upon the boy's face as blood dripped on the dusty ground. Then, to add another injury, Cell recieved a ki-blast at point blank, forcing him to fly into the mountain behind him.
"I think its time I end this..." Gohan said and walked to the destroyed rocky terrain. "I'm starting to get bored now."
At that moment, Cell used his energy to destroy the debris and launched at him. He saw the android's tail swinging behind him and maneuvered himself in such a way that Cell was now ahead of him with his back turned and his tail was in Gohan's hands.
"What are you-" Not able to complete his sentence as he was stopped midair.
Pulling on it to bring Cell closer, Gohan applyed just enough force. Getting the position he wanted, the boy punched Cell on his chin so hard that the impact rattled the android's brain.
Cell went flying to the ground and hit it with a hard thud. Before he could even think about getting up, He felt an enormous amount of energy, concentrated above and beneath him.
"What is this?" He muttered when a shadow fell upon him.
Confusingly, he looked upwards only to find a darkened sky covered in black, smokey clouds. The android's eyes wandered over to him and they widened.
Gohan had a frown on his face as he connected both his palms and fingers in front of his chest. Then, the boy closed his eyes and grunted. Lightning struck the ground where the bio-android lay. A pattern began to form around him.
A white square appeared and glowed at the boy's feet. Cell felt a burning sensation at his leg and pulled it towards his body. However that is when he noticed the same square pattern surrounded him as well.
The halfling watched Cell get up in haste to protect himself but he was trapped as the energy from the pattern erupted upwards and consumed the android.
Slowly, the area inside began to fill out by the hot sizzling energy. Cell panicked and tried to escape through the white light but howled when he found his hand completely vaporised as soon as it came in contact with his attack.
Gohan opened his eyes and glared at the energy encasing Cell. He widened his stance and fared his aura. Then he let out a battle cry, his aura expanded, lightning struck the barren wasteland.
"YOU'RE DONE FOR!" The boy shouted in anger. "ALL THE CRIMES YOU HAVE COMMITTED, YOU WILL PAY TEN FOLDS FOR THEM!"
"EVERY SOUL THAT YOU STOLE HAS BECKONED ME FOR VENGEANCE! NOT A SINGLE DROP OF THEIR BLOOD WILL GO UNACCOUNTED FOR! NOT A SINGLE DROP!
Suddenly, Cell's painful cries were heard as the energy inside the square started to converge. It was a slow process which made the scene all the more brutal. The bio-android felt his body burn and melt. His blood was on fire while his eyes bulged out of his sockets and fell into the casing.
"NO NO NO NO!" Cell screamed. "PLEASE STOP THIS, I BEG OF YOU! MERCY-AAAAAAHHHHH!
His body started to atomize and incinerate. Every fiber of his being was hot molten magma. His eyes that had fallen on the ground boiled and evaporated. His left hand was already gone and his head crown was melting.
"STOOOOP! PLEASE, PLEASE STOP THIS! I CANNOT BEAR IT ANYMORE!"
Gohan felt the android's Ki signature fading into nothingness. He ignored the screams emmited by Cell. The excruciating process was almost over and so was the artifical creation's reign of terror.
"DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW CELL!? THE PLIGHT OF ALL WHO YOU KILLED!"
His words were unanswered as Cell was screaming out in agony. Too busy to even consider anything other that the unholy pain woven inside his body, the android kept on howling.
No blood splattered the ground. It was evaporated before it even spilled. Cell's bones prodded out of his burning body. His face had aready meltef and th endoskeleton was revealed.
After what felt like an eternity, the screams started to die down, becoming nothing but whispers of forgiveness. With his tongue and larynx gone, Cell lost his voice as well.
The energy inside the square reached it's absolute zenith and what followed could only be described as a collosal explosion of hot Ki.
And with that, Gohan killed the self proclaimed perfection. He held his position and glared at the place where Cell stood. His breath came in pants as he tried to regain his composure.
At long last, the nightmare had ended. Struggling to stand straight, Gohan let go of his attack. The pattern dissapeared from both his feet and where Cell once stood. What remained however was a scorching mark.
The boy brought his hands to either side and balled his fists. Before he could take a single step, the powerful transformation left him and black hair replaced blonde. Not having the strength to stand let alone walk, Gohan fell face first into the dusty ground.
Koyo Cliff
15:07
A pause surrounded the fighters present atop the cliff. What the had just witnessed was not even close to what anyone had expected from the pasifistic boy. Cell's cries for mercy were still fresh in their ears.
And that attack, it had brutalised the android. Slow and painful, and at the same time unescapable. It was collosal, the amount of energy Gohan had used. The sky was still dark from the black clouds of Ki. The lightning however had stopped.
Piccolo was the first to recover from the shock, followed closely by Goku. Swallowing heavily, he summoned his energy. He had to get to Gohan but his body refused.
"Is it... Over?" Krillin broke the tense silence. "Did Gohan actually win?"
Wind breezed through the meadow and yet again a soundless atmosohere captured them. None dared try and move, the pressure was still present in the air despite the attack having been dissipated.
Staring out into the battlefield, Piccolo allowed a fresh batch of oxygen enter into his lungs through his nostrils. His eyes travelled to the sleeping form of Android 18 and then at the group of humans at the valley, before directing his gaze at Goku.
"Did you know about this?" His question fell on deaf ears as the spiky haired man refused to acknowledge him. "Answer me, Goddamnit!"
Still no answer, Piccolo grit his teeth in frustation. The display earlier opened up an entirely different side of his student about which he had no idea about.
"I will ask again, Goku," Piccolo implored. "What the fuck was that!?"
Goku shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. The situation had gotten too intense, Piccolo noted. He saw the man, struggling to face the reality.
"I had no idea that he was able to do something like that..."
Not satisfied with the reponse, Piccolo stared at the Saiyan expectantly. Goku merely gave him an absent minded look.
"Hey, I think we should grab Gohan now." Yamcha interjected. "We'll need to summon Shenron."
Piccolo glanced at him and nodded. Clearly the Saiyan was too shook to answer him. Flaring his aura, Piccolo left the cliff and took to the air.
He spotted the boy and descended. His feet gently touched the ground and lifted up a cloud of dust. As he stood at the heart of the battlefield Piccolo felt a cool breeze ruffle his Gi.
He looked down upon the unconscious body and knelt beside him. Very gingerly, Piccolo flipped Gohan on his arms and cradled him. With his face exposed, Piccolo made a closed inspection.
After a moment's time, he was satisfied and took flight. He reached the rest of the Z-fighters and beckoned them to follow. Not even sparing a look at who acknowledged him, Piccolo flew as fast as his injured body allowed, eager to have Gohan healed.
As he travelled through the clouds, his mind wandered to the sadistic torture he witnessed. Gazing at the innocent face of his student, he couldn't help but feel guilty. He considered himself just as much to be blamed as Cell.
'Too late for that now...' He reprimanded himself in his mind.
It had been through his hands that the boy was roped into the life of a warrior. He saw first-hand the side effects of experiencing war at such a young age.
But all of that was in the past. Gohan was a soldier and he had a duty to uphold. Earth came before the needs of his own. Sighing in regret, Piccolo continued at a steady pace.
