A New Beginning

Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Just mon idée!

A/N: I watched Overdrive before and to be fair it was decent IMO. Mack and Rose are my favourite characters to ship. I find their personalities super interesting, not going by red/pink format or appearances. That's not how I ship them or anyone in general. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: The Invitation

The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over San had been years since the original Power Rangers had fought side by side, and now they were scattered across the country, having built lives far removed from their once extraordinary adventures. But today was different. An invitation had been sent out to all the former Rangers, calling them back to where it all began.

Rose, the Pink Ranger, stood on her balcony, staring at the invitation her heart raced at the thought of seeing her old friends it wasn't just nostalgia that excited her; it was the thought of sharing this moment with Mack, who had been her boyfriend for the past few months.

"Are you ready for this?" Mack's voice broke through her thoughts, and she turned to see him leaning against the doorway. A playful grin on his face was dressed casually, his curly hair tousled, and his blue eyes twinkled with mischief.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Rose replied, her voice light."I can't believe we're doing this!"

"Of course we are! It's a reunion! We have to show them how far we've come," Mack said, stepping into the room and taking the invitation from her studied it, a thoughtful expression crossing his face."I wonder who will be there."

"I hope everyone. I miss them all," Rose said, her heart swelling with fond memories of their time as had been through so much together—friendship, loyalty, and this reunion felt different; it was a chance to reconnect and perhaps even redefine their relationships.

The former red ranger placed the invitation back on the table and turned to Rose, his expression shifting to something deeper. "And I'm excited to see them again. They've heard so much about you."

She felt a flutter of nerves at the thought. She knew how much Mack cared for his friends, and she wanted to make a good impression."I hope they were doing okay after all of those years."

"They 're amazing," he said, stepping closer and taking her hands in his."Just be yourself, and everything will be fine."

The genius smiled, feeling the warmth spread through Mack by her side, she felt invincible."Okay, I'm ready. Let's do this!"
