Chapter 2: The Reunion
The day of the reunion arrived, and the familiar sights and sounds of San Angeles filled Rose with they drove through the streets, she and Mack exchanged stories about their time as Rangers, laughing at the silly moments and reflecting on the challenges they had faced.
When they arrived at the designated meeting spot, a large park filled with trees and open spaces, Rose's heart raced as could see familiar faces scattered throughout the crowd—some she hadn't seen in years.
"Mack! Rose!" A voice called out, and they turned to see Dax, running towards them, his face beaming with joy. Behind him were Tyzonn and Ronny.
"Dax!" Mack exclaimed, pulling him into a bear followed suit, and soon they were all exchanging warm greetings.
"It's been too long!" Ronny said, her eyes sparkling."I can't believe we're all together again!"
"Where's everyone else?" Rose asked, glancing around. "They're on their way. We figured we'd get the party started without them," Tyzonn replied with a grin.
As the group began to mingle, Rose felt a sense of belonging wash over and watched as Mack animatedly talked with their friends, and she felt proud to be part of this world again. But there was also a nervous flutter in her stomach as she thought about seeing everyone together.
"Mack!" A voice called out, and Rose saw a short woman with short blonde hair approaching them. She wore a confident smile and radiated warmth."You made it!" She immediately knew it was Vella.
"Of course! I wouldn't miss this for the world," he said, stepping forward to greet her.
The genius stepped forward, feeling excited. "Vella, it's nice seeing you again!"
"The pleasure is all mine, Rose! I've heard so much about you and Mack," Madison said, her eyes sparkling with friendliness."I can see why he's so smitten."
The former pink ranger felt her cheeks heat as she glanced at her boyfriend, who was grinning like a fool. "Well, it's mutual," she said, trying to play it cool. As the day went on, more rangers like Adam, Bridge, and the rest of the Once a Ranger veteran team arrived, the atmosphere buzzed with laughter and shared memories. They reminisced about their battles, triumphs, and friendships that had formed amidst the chaos.
