Chapter 13

I walked to the silver bowl. After I came, the water swirled suddenly. A face appeared in the water. It was Cynelith!

Then a voice started to surround me. It sounded like a flowing stream. "Take her with you before doing this," the voice floated. "She doesn't belong here. Take her with you."

I felt really confused. "How could I take someone who could do nothing with me?" I shouted to the water. "I'm not even sure I could survive or not. How could I take someone else? And also, you are just some water! How can you talk?"

The face in the water started to swirl and make a funny face at me. "This is an incredible world. Anything could be possible. You must do as I say. I know much more than that old lady. And also, you may need this."

An old map popped out from the silver bowl. I got it and opened it. On the map was The Lord of the Rings. On the back was a map of the window space.

"What a useful thing! Thank you."

"You're welcome," said the water. After that, all of the floating water dropped back into the bowl. Everything was normal again, like nothing had happened.

I took a deep breath and turned around. Following the map, I walked and walked. Finally, I walked out of Lothlórien. Looking at the road in front of me, I was suddenly reminded that I was being like the real main character of The Lord of the Rings story, and I would do something that is important like him. With this joyful thought, I took my first step.

At the same time, I thought about something. I didn't bring food or drinks, and I didn't have transportation.

Suddenly, something dropped and hit my head. It was really heavy, but I took a look and found it was filled with food! I looked up and saw the violent bird was flying above my head. It looked much bigger and it seemed like I could sit on it. Just like I thought, the bird flew down in front of me and knelt on the ground. I climbed on and started my adventure!
