Chapter 14

After a day and a night, finally, I saw some people on the grassy field of Rohan. I felt so happy because soon I could get down from the bird's back. I felt a little bit ill when I was flying.

Suddenly, the bird screamed. Through its beak I saw a girl was fighting with a big army. That must be Cynelith!

"Bird! Land near that brown-haired girl!" I yelled. The nimble bird soon turned around and landed like a falling leaf.

"Oh well," I said. "The thing you need to do now is help that brown-haired girl. And after that, take her with us."

The violent bird perhaps didn't like others to order him around. But he still did everything I said. The army after Cynelith saw the bird and yelled cheerfully.

"The bird is from Queen Galadriel!" they yelled. "The Elven Queen has come to help us!"

This is really a powerful bird. He used his claw to grab a bunch of enemies and throw them up to the sky. He used his beak to hit some before he grabbed another bunch.

The fight ended quickly. While everyone was enjoying the win, I found Cynelith and talked to her.

"Thank you for helping me," she said before I opened my mouth.

"It's alright," I said with a big smile. Maybe Cynelith had forgiven me. But then I realized she was not talking to me; she was talking to the bird. And the bird screamed and nodded its head for an answer.

I waved my hand in front of Cynelith's eyes to get her attention. "Hey! Did you know that Queen Galadriel led me to take you away from here?"

"Really?" Finally, Cynelith turned her head to me. "I don't think Queen Galadriel would say something like that to me at this time."

"It's true!" I yelled.

"Who knows?" Cynelith suddenly yelled, and I realized she was still angry at me. "I won't leave here. Here is the place I fight. If I go, then my army must go with me, too."

"They can't go! You have to go alone!" I yelled more loudly. "Why don't you believe me? What's wrong with you? When did you start being so angry at me?"

Cynelith smirked. "When did I get so angry at you? Do you know what happened after you disappeared? Just because I refused to answer some questions from you. The enemy entered Lothlorien like there's no one else in the forest. Many great Elven and human soldiers died because of you! If you don't explain to me what is something more important than many people's lives taking you away on that night, you will never get me away from here!"

"Well," I said, "The thing I'm telling you now is more important. Because if you don't listen, more life will be lost."

"Really?" Cynelith smirked again. "I'd like to hear."

Just then, a big roar came out from the sky. A big crack came out with no reason in the sky. Some black shadows flew out from the crack and flew straight toward us.
