Ten billion years ago, there was a tiny speck among nothing. That tiny speck grew in a matter of seconds with powers so grand and lonely that it craved more. It craved existence and a name.

It called itself a Titan for three days before creating an entire universe of stars and galaxies and realms. As another three days passed, it was still lonely. He was still terribly lonely. He had a home with no one to share it with.

He conjured and invented the light and dark which filled and balanced the world he created, and he couldn't stop there. He continued to create, filling the realms with various species he conjured.

Then there was his most wonderfully imperfect creation: Earthrealm and its humans.

His two Elder Gods as he called them took residence in realms they preferred. Sepira, Elder Goddess of Light and Virtue, took a liking to the beauty of Earthrealm and Edenia while Kawahira grinned malevolently upon Outworld and the various realms surrounding it.

Only then had he named himself Talbot, Titan of Time and Invention. He encouraged his two Elder Gods to do as they pleased, watching them create like he had done with them.

Eight Gods were born, being labeled as Lower Gods by the two Elder Gods.

Sepira, taking hold of the beauty she cared for so dearly, created Reborn, Lal Mirch, Viper, and Luce.

Kawahira, thriving through the chaos of fighting and sin, created Colonnello, Fon, Verde, and Skull.

There he watched history as it unfolded, stepping in only once when Kawahira's precious Outworld began to absorb other realms. Outworld succeeded until attempting to steal away Edenia, infuriating Lal Mirch and, consequently, Sepira in the process.

If it wasn't for Sepira's valiant pleas, Talbot most definitely would have stood aside from the situation.

Therefore, after the first one hundred years of existence, there was a Mortal Kombat tournament with Outworld coming out as the victor against the Edenian realm.

It seemed Sepira could only take so many tournaments after eight hundred years of violence, putting an end to it for the virtuous reason of how pointless the violence was.

That was six hundred years ago. Much changed in that time such as the eligibility of Earthrealm's participation in the tournaments.
