"Groot Morning kiddo, and see you got in before your curfew. I told Kit about you.

She saw you leave the house in your Raccoon Girl armour." Rocket Senior told Casey.

It was the next morning and a tired and dressed Casey entered the kitchen, sitting down at the table drinking the juice that Rocket Senior had piured into a glass hearing her yawning just as Kit entered sitting down at the table noticing Casey looked tired guessing what she'd been doing last night had made her tired as Rocket Senior placed a glass of juice in front of her hearing her thank him eating only she saw his concern as Casey zoned out asking, if he should call her teacher to tell her she was having a sick day seeing Casey shake her head. "Nope, I can do it…" Casey mumbled sleepily making Kit frown along with Rocket Senior. He cared about his daughter knowing Rocket would flip out if Casey was exhausted doing Raccoon Girl stuff and knew Rocket would be visiting for Shabbat which would be fun for Kit.

"You can't run on an empty tank, pkus it's nearly Friday meaning Shabbat. Halfworld won't be in danger just because you have to rest." Rocket Senior whispered. He then carried the female-kit upstairs to her room making Kit hope her friend was okay seeing Ranger was outside working on the garden seeing Rocket Senior return, grabbing his phone calling Xaviers to tell Casey's teacher that she'd be out today making Kit nod as he hung up.

"Casey's resting in her room. Don't worry Kit, this happens a lot with her." he told her.

Kit nodded as she put her bowl in the sink going to water her part of the garden, plus he'd wanted to ask herabout the school thing only Casey being overtired had distracted the big, fluffy male raccoon from asking making himself coffee along with some for Ranger seeing him come in after a bit. "Kit's doing a good job uncle. I was showing her how to help the garden." Ranger told him making Rocket Senior smile, knowing he was taking what he'd said about giving Kit a chance to heart which made Ranger nod.

"Is Casey okay, she looked like a zombie. She's not at school, right." Ranger asked.

"Yeah Kit was concerned for her. I explained that was normal for Casey." Rocket Senior said.

Kit then came inside asking if Casey was feeling better, which Rocket Senior got finding it understandable as Casey was her only friend here so far knowing if she went to school, maybe she'd make some more friends, if kids here gave her a chance seeing Kit nod. "I think I'd like to try school here, Marshmallow." Kit told him.

"That's great, oh my gosh, Kit you have whiskers." Rocket Senior exclaimed seeing Ranger stunned.

"Really, that's so cool." Kit told them looking in the mirror seeing furry whiskers making her curious and excited making both male raccoons chuckle at her.

"We've heard stories about this. Humans or others that stay become Halfworlders and those whiskers mean they're true. We'll also enrol you in school okay." Rocket Senior said making Kit in awe more about the becoming a Halfworlder thing, more than the school thing.

It was early afternoon and Kit was helping Rocket Senior make lunch for them, Casey and Ranger asking questions about what it would be like to be a Halfworlder making him chuckle as he knew this was was a big deal to them and Kit but saw Casey up in jammies not her Raccoon Girl armour surprising Kit. "When I'm this tired, I don't go on patrol plus Poppa Marshmallow told me you have whiskers which is amazing." Casey told her.

"Yeah, he exlained how rare it is." Kit said smirking at her making Casey grin.

"Yeah, plus I heard you're starting school soon." Casey told her winking.
