Return of the Don and a Surprise Son

In the Iceberg Lounge Arthur Penn walks in. "We will wait for Mr. Cobblepot to send instructions," he informs Penguin's other men.

Tabitha appears strangling a henchman with a whip, Barbara disarms another one and Selina uses her whip to attack a third man. All three women knock down and defeat the men. Sofia then enters and walks toward Penn, holding Leo's hand. On Leo's cheek there's a light bruising.

"Hello," Barbara said from behind Mr. Penn.

Barbara and the other women surround Mr. Penn.

"Where is Penguin, little man?" Sofia asked.

While Tabitha was interrogating/torturing Mr. Penn behind the curtain window, Sofia was sitting with Leo at the bar, Selina was sitting with them. Leo was looking down at the floor, not wanting to look at his mother or any of the bad women.

"Leo, what I was doing I was doing to protect you," Sofia tells him.

"How is hurting and threatening my friend protecting me?" Leo asks touching his bruised cheek.

Barbara walks up and says to Sofia, "So, Penguin's out building support amongst the gangs. Pretty soon, every criminal in Gotham is gonna be hunting us." Sofia nods at this.

"He's out building support because we made him look weak. We kill him, and all the gangs will support me. I'm still a Falcone," Sofa said looking at Barbara.

"Yeah, you mentioned that. About a billion times," Barbara replies and points to Leo, "He's a Falcone too and you don't hear him mentioning it every five minutes."

Selina rolls her eyes. Then the door opens and Tabitha walks out.

Tabitha sighs, "He doesn't know where Penguin is."

Sofia's phone then rings she sighs and answers it, "What?" Sofia stares ahead and there's a few moments of silence before she answers again, "I'll be right there."

"Was that about Penguin?" Barbara asked.

"No," Sofia answers and grabs Leo's hand, "Come on Leo."

At the GCPD, Jim Gordon walks in and finds Detective Harper with an ice pack over head, Harvey Dent is with her.

"Harper," Jim said walking over to them.

"We were an hour outside of Gotham when I got waylaid by Victor Zsasz. He took Sofia and Leo, gave me this. I woke up in Virginia," Harper states.

"Damn it. I had a deal with Penguin," Jim responded.

"There's more," said a police officer, "We're getting word Penguin had some meeting under the Crown Point Bridge late last night. Gunfire, a car blown up. Sofia Falcone was there."

"Was Leo there too?" Harvey asked anxiously, "Was he in the car?"

"The boy was there," the officer answers. "But we're not sure if he was in the car or not."

Harvey punches the desk and growls, "I swear if that little bird hurt my boy I will break his neck in two."

"All right. We have to find Penguin," Jim said, "Harper?"

"I'm good, Cap," Harper assures her boss.

"Put out a citywide BOLO. I'll find Sofia and Leo," Jim says.

"I'm coming with you," Harvey insists.

"I don't know if that's..." Jim started, but Harvey interrupted him.

"I could care less about what you think, Captain," Harvey states with irritation, "The only thing I do care about right now is Leo and what happens to him."

"What about the Pyg?" Harper asked, "I heard he escaped from Arkham."

"Tracked him to a black market surgeon. He's already got a new face. Lazlo Valentine is gone," Jim states.

"But if we don't find him, what..." Harper starts but Jim interrupts her.

"Focus on the bigger problem," Jim tells him and he then says to his fellow officers, "We've got a war to stop, people." Jim then leaves with Harvey following right behind him.

At the Falcone estate, Sofia leads Barbara, Tabitha and Selina into a large room, while still holding Leo's hand.

"So, you gonna tell us why we're in your dad's house?" Barbara asked.

"Why do you think?" Sofia asks, as if the answer was obvious.

Carmine Falcone enters the room accompanied by two bodyguards. Barbara stares at the sight of the old mob boss and shares a look with Tabitha. When Leo saw his grandfather his face lit up.

"Grandpa! Grandpa!" Leo cried happily. He broke free from Sofia's grip and ran to Carmine hugging him. "I missed you so much."

Carmine smiled at his only grandson, "I missed you too Leo," he said and hugged and kissed him on the head. He then noticed the light bruising on Leo's cheek making him deeply frown.

"Hey, what about me?" a voice gave a mock pout.

A man walked into the room. The man had black hair, brown eyes and was wearing a black suit and tie.

"Uncle Alberto!" Leo cried and then ran to his uncle.

"Uncle Alberto?" Barbara mutters, "So there's another?"

Alberto picked Leo up and spun him around. Leo happily wrapped his arms around his uncle's neck hugging him as he held him.

Carmine faces Sofia. "Sofia. You look tired," Carmine said to his daughter then grips her shoulders and kisses her forehead. Carmine greets Barbara, "Ms. Kean, it's good to see you again."

"Likewise," Barbara replies and says to Tabitha, "So, this is weird." Tabitha then glances at Selina.

"Why are you and Alberto here, Father?" Sofia asks.

"Hello to you too, Sofia," Alberto says with sarcasm.

"What did I tell you when you asked to return to Gotham?" Carmine asked.

"I know..." Sofia begins, but her father interrupts.

"What did I tell you?!" Carmine asks raising his voice.

"That I wasn't ready," Sofia answered.

"Exactly. And you came back anyway. You've also brought Leo here too," Carmine states angrily, "Perhaps I should've acted then, but I was indulgent, curious. Who is this daughter I raised?"

"Father, Penguin is weak. If you help me, we can end this," Sofia tells him. "And make sure that not just one more generation of the Falcone family rules Gotham but two." Sofia says the last part while looking over at Leo, who looks down at the floor.

"I don't want Gotham," Carmine said.

"I don't believe that. You love this city," Sofia insists.

Carmine nods, "I used to, yes. But I'm dying, Sofia," Carmine states, "Someone else can have Gotham. What I care about now is my family."

"And we are your family. And I want this. I deserve this. Gotham belongs to me," Sofia states.

Leo frowns, "I should've known this was never about me."

Sofia looks at Leo and said, "Everything I do is for you and this family."

Carmine responds by backhanding Sofia in the face. Leo flinches making Alberto hold onto his nephew tighter. Sofia straightens up.

"Your actions have disgraced our family," Carmine states with anger, "Tell me how sleeping with Jim Gordon, the man who killed your brother, your son's uncle and godfather, helped reclaim Gotham."

Leo's mouth drop as he looks at his mother.

Barbara stops, "I'm sorry. What?"

"I have done many things I will have to answer for, but I always knew the meaning of honor," Carmine said and shakes his head in disgust and disappointment, "You have proven that you do not."

Penguin enters looking triumph, "Children. They can be such disappointments," he said.

Victor Zsaz then enters holding Selina and aiming at Tabitha. Sofia aims her gun at Penguin, but Carmine stops her by putting her arm down and holding onto it.

"I kill him, and this is over! Please!" Sofia begs her father.

"You know why I came when Penguin called? It's because you were going to lose. If you were anyone but my daughter, you'd be dead right now," Carmine states.

Sofia tearfully looks at Penguin, who wears a triumphant smirk.

Alberto glares at Sofia and says to Leo putting him down, "Catherine is outside why don't you two go spend a little time together."

Leo nods and runs outside to see his favorite cousin, who he hasn't seen since Uncle Mario's wedding. Once Leo was out of sight, Alberto walked up to Sofia and gave her a slap of his own.

"Doesn't feel so good, does it sister?" Alberto sneers.
