Going Home?

As Jim predicted Harvey was from happy about Jim's plan of sending Sofia and Leo back home to Miami.

"You can't be serious Jim!" Harvey shouts.

"I understand your frustration, but this is for the best," Jim said.

"No Jim," Harvey snaps, "No you don't understand at all. You don't have a child!"

Jim is taken back by his friend's anger with a look of hurt.

Harvey's look softens slightly before speaking, "Look I understand that Sofia has to leave, I get that. But Leo hasn't done anything to be sent away."

"I know, but Sofia is still his mother," Jim said.

"And I'm his father," Harvey counters, "Have him stay with me."

"You know it's not that simple," Jim said, "You know who Leo's grandfather is. Even if you do bring this to court it's unlikely it will end up going in your favor. I'm sorry." Jim then left to arrange it.

Harvey frowned, he knew that it was true. But that didn't mean he shouldn't try fighting for Leo. Harvey then puts his head into his hands as a few tears run down his face.

A sweet voice then spoke, "Hi Daddy."

Harvey looked down and saw Leo staring up at him with big blue eyes. He then picked Leo up in his arms and hugged him.

"Hi buddy," Harvey said softly with his voice cracking.

Leo looks at his father and asks, "Why are you sad?"

Harvey gives Leo a sad smile, "It's because I love you so much."

"Are Mommy and I are leaving Gotham?" Leo asks.

Harvey frowns realizing that his son has heard the conversation and then sets Leo down to explain, "Yes, you are."

"Can you come with us?" Leo asked. While Leo does miss his grandpa, he doesn't want to leave his dad.

Harvey sighs, "I'm afraid I can't. Don't worry I will find a way to fight this. But even if I can't, I'm still going to be in your life. I'll make trips to visit you or for you to visit me."

Leo takes something from his pants pocket. It's Harvey's two headed coin that he gave him. Leo offers his father's coin back, but Harvey closes Leo's hand.

"Keep hanging on to it for me," Harvey said with a smile.

Leo nods and hugs Harvey tight. They stay together a few more minutes before Jim comes over with Sofia.

"Harvey I'm sorry, but it's time for them to go," Jim frowns.

Harvey then picks Leo up in his arms and Leo rests his head on Harvey's shoulder making Sofia shoot a glare at Harvey.

"I know you're disappointed, but I am doing this to protect you," Jim said holding onto Sofia's arm.

"Disappointment doesn't quite cover it, Jim," Sofia replies.

"If you stay in Gotham, Penguin will kill you," Jim states.

"Don't put this on Penguin," Sofia tells him.

"If you have something to say, I think you should say it," Jim responds.

Facing Jim Sofia kisses him. Harvey glares in anger at Sofia, but keeps Leo's head turned away from seeing it as the last thing he wants is to see and hear Leo crying. Sofia then pulls away and Jim stares at her.

"We're the same, Jim," Sofia states, "I saw it the first moment we met. We both want power. You want to deny it, but it's true. And it is just easier to send me away.

They share a tense look before Jim responds by putting handcuffs on Sofia and then said, "Detective Harper, please take Ms. Falcone and her son to the train station and escort them back home."

Detective Harper comes with two other police officers as Harvey reluctantly puts Leo down.

"Please don't do this," Sofia whispers.

Better get going. You'll miss your train.

Detective Harper takes Sofia by the arm and is about to take Leo's hand but he goes to Harvey and gives him a big hug. The hug lasts for several moments before they slowly pull apart. Harper gently but firmly grabs Leo's hand and takes the two Falcones away with the two officers following them.

On the train Sofia, Leo and Harper are sitting in a compartment. Leo is next to Sofia asleep on her lap, Sofia smiles at her son's sleeping form. Detective Harper sits across from them. Sofia, still in handcuffs, checks her watch.

"Nervous about something?" Harper asks and then says with a smirk, "Well, we have a long way to go. So get comfy."

Sofia gazes out the window, leaning her head back. Harper also looks out the window.

Someone then opens the compartment door, "Tickets, please," spoke Victor Zsaz

Detective Harper gasps, "What...?

Victor knocks Harper out with a gun waking up Leo. When Leo sees Victor aiming his gun at his mother he gets scared.

"Mama," Leo whimpers.

Sofia smirks, "Hello, Victor."

"Where's the boy?" Victor asked, still pointing the gun at Sofia.

"Alive, for now. If Oswald wants to keep it that way, he will meet me under the Crown Point Bridge in one hour," Sofia informs him.

Leo looks at his mom in both horror and confusion.

A man over the P.A. spoke, "Next stop, Stevenstown."

"That's our stop," Sofia said and showed him the handcuffs, "Do you mind?"

"Not at all," Victor said, he fires his gun at the handcuffs, breaking them and making Leo scream in the process.

"Thank you," Sofia said, she got up taking Leo's hand and touching Victor's chest Sofia and Leo exit the train.

In the next chapter, Leo isn't going to be very happy.
