And now, the final chapter in the Twilight Town side story. Our trio goes head to head with Maleficent, Mistress of Evil.

Everyone stared in shock at the Mistress of Evil staring down before them.
"Maleficent!" gasped Olette. "What are you doing here?!"
"What does it look like, Miss Olette?" Maleficent smirked. "I am here to get rid of you pests once and for all…"
"So you really were pulling the strings after all." growled Hayner. "Sending those Organization kooks after us."
"Yes, quite." Maleficent nodded. "We didn't need any more interference from you wretched Keybearers. That large team Sora leads was troublesome enough."
"Yeah, and whose fault is that?" Hayner spat. "You guys are screwing around bringing darkness to all the worlds that don't need it… or at least as much as you think it deserves!"
"We were just helping our friends! And saving the people you threatened!" Pence chimed in.
"And look where that got you." Maleficent smirked. "It brought you right to me, the Mistress of Evil. And thanks to your endeavors, you brought me three of the former Princesses of Heart… Snow White…"
Snow White gulped nervously as Florian held her hand and the Seven Dwarves stood guard around them both.
"Alice…"
Fear was in Alice's eyes as Zack held his sword out in front of her protectively.
Maleficent then smirked at Aurora. "And the Sleeping Beauty herself… Princess Aurora." she wickedly grinned.
"You… you… wicked witch!" Aurora seethed. "After all these years… after all the trouble you caused, even after dying and coming back, you still haven't learned to not mess with any of us in our world or many others!"
"My dear child, I am simply helping remake the worlds as I see fit." Maleficent replied.
"Cut the horseshit, Maleficent." sneered Hayner. "Sora and the others told us all about your world-reimagining mumbo jumbo, and we're not gonna let you harm any of our new friends to do it!"
"Hayner's right!" snarled Zack. "I saw the kind of chaos you guys were causing in Traverse Town, and these guys told me about the stuff you pulled in their worlds too! And we won't stand for any of it!"
"You used myself, Aurora, Snow White, and all of the other Princesses of Hearts for your evil deeds. I refuse to let you do that again to any of us!" said Alice, managing to pluck up courage.
"Indeed! We fought your friends from that Organization they talked about!" said Phillip.
"And we managed to win against them!" added Florian.
"Oh yes! And we saved our worlds and everyone who lives on them!" Snow White added, managing to also build up courage.
"You haven't brought us down yet!" Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, and Sneezy said in unison, Dopey nodding in agreement.
"You see, Maleficent? We are not scared of you or anything you plan to throw at us!" Aurora sneered.
Hayner, Pence, and Olette smiled proudly at their friends.
"See, Maleficent? They're not scared of you." said Olette.
"No matter what you try to do, you're not gonna stop us from getting our friends to safety!" said Pence.
"We took down the corrupted versions of Terra and Riku Replica that were dragged straight from the past, and even kicked Sephiroth's ass to the curb!" said Hayner. "So whatever you've got planned for us… we're ready!"
Everyone nodded and by instinct, got into fighting stances, ready for whatever Maleficent was ready to throw at them.
Maleficent just laughed wickedly. "Pitiful fools!" she mocked. "You may have bested three members of Organization XIII… but I am nothing like them!" She turned to Aurora and Phillip. "Don't you two remember? I am the Mistress of Evil! The most powerful fairy to ever exist across the worlds and in all the realms! And no one will stand in the way of my mission… that being getting rid of you insignificant pests!"
Maleficent suddenly sent a blast of green fiery magic against them all, knocking them away. They all crashed against the ground, groaning in pain.
Maleficent waved her staff around as a barrier trapped Hayner, Pence, and Olette with her.
"You're mine now!" Maleficent sneered at the trio as they got up. "It's time to extinguish you for good!"
"Dream on, bitch!" Olette scowled, summoning Dawn Till Dusk.
Hayner and Pence followed suite by summoning Phantom Green and Midnight Blue.
Zack, Alice, Aurora, Phillip, Snow White, Florian, and the Seven Dwarves ran up to the barrier.
"Guys!" shouted Zack.
"Let them go, Maleficent!" shouted Phillip.
"Take this blasted thing down" yelled Grumpy, pounding at the barrier.
"Everyone, don't worry, we got her!" called Pence.
"Are you sure?!" asked Sneezy.
"Trust us!" said Hayner. "If we can handle Organization XIII, we can handle her too!"
"Oh, do please be careful!" begged Snow White, worried.
Maleficent smirked. "Ha! That mistake will be your own undoing!" she mocked.

"Meteors of heaven, unleash thy fury!" Maleficent called as she unleashed several blue orbs of light.
The Twilight Trio quickly dodged the orbs and slashed them away with their Keyblades when they got the chance. Hayner ran at Maleficent and tried striking and slashing her with his Keyblade before conjuring up a Dark Firaga spell to hit her with. But Maleficent managed to dodge the spell and whacked Hayner with her staff. Pence tried sneaking up behind Maleficent and cast a Blizzaga Pursuit spell against her, but Maleficent wasn't affected as she fired a Thunder spell into Pence, knocking him away. Olette jumped into the air and raised her Keyblade to send her own Meteor spell down on Maleficent. Several meteors crashed down around her, but Maleficent unleashed green fire magic to destroy them. And then she flew up at Olette in her Meteor Swirl move, swirling in a green light as she smacked into Olette, sending her falling onto the ground. As Maleficent landed, she was about to swing her staff at Pence, but he used Bind to hold her in place and then sent Wateraga crashing into her. Seething, Maleficent sent a blast of dark magic into Pence, but not before Hayner came to his aid by casting Exo Spark, attempting to electrocute Maleficent. But there was barely any effect on her as the Mistress of Evil managed to shrug it off before casting Thundaga at Hayner. Olette slashed Maleficent across her back, bashed her in the face with her Keyblade, and then fired Firaga Burst at her. Maleficent barley wicked from the attack as she fired dark magic spells into Olette.
"Now you'll know the meaning of fear!" Maleficent yelled as she summoned a purple cloud above them.
Bolts of lightning struck the ground, nearly striking the trio as they barely managed to avoid them. Olette quickly used Quake against Maleficent, managing to catch her off-guard as she was knocked into the air. Olette took advantage of this as she ran at her, jumped up, and slashed Maleficent around before casting Thundaga Shot to injure her more. Maleficent landed on the ground, but before she could regain her surroundings, Pence ran up and casted Pulse Tracer to electrocute her even more. When she tried to swing her staff at him, Pence jumped back and fired Ice Barrage to knock her away. Hayner then ran up to the evil fairy, firing orbs of light against her. The dirty blonde-haired teen then jumped up and unleashed a Raging Storm spell, three flame pillars striking Maleficent all at once. The evil fairy seethed with rage as she raised her staff and coated herself in green smoke, flying around and knocking into the trio as hard as she could, knocking them across the battleground and into the forcefield. Before Maleficent could send down anymore spells to hurt them, Pence managed to roll onto his feet and cast Icicle Mine to rain down on her. Pence then fired more orbs of light to blind her and then casted Cyclone to lift her in the air. Hayner backed up his friend by casting Wind Tracer to keep Maleficent airborne and dazed, backed up by firing and performing Lightning Ray, striking Maleficent at lightning speed. Maleficent was about to strike Hayner with more dark magic, but Hayner was quick enough to cast Fission Firaga to knock her back. As Maleficent attempted to get back up, Olette quickly ran up and performed Heat Dash at her, dealing fire damage. Olette then casted Pearlza to strike her with a light pillar, followed by Deep Freeze to ice her in place.

"Hey, we're getting the hang of this!" grinned Pence.
"Dude!" hissed Hayner. "Don't jinx us!"
"You actually believe in that BS?" Olette asked, quirking an eyebrow.
Maleficent suddenly rose up behind them, a wicked grin on her face.
"LOOK OUT!" Aurora screamed.
Before the trio knew it, Maleficent had already waved her staff as dark wisps of green magic restrained them, which was followed by the witch using her powers to lift the Twilight Trio into the air.
"Agh! Let us go!" cried Olette.
"Bastard!" yelled Hayner.
"Too tight!" spluttered Pence.
Maleficent laughed. "Your turn to fly!" she mocked, flinging them into the ground as hard as she could.
"You horrid woman!" yelled Doc.
Maleficent raised her staff. "Thunderbolt and lightning strike!" she yelled.
As the teens tried to get back on their feet, bolts of lightning struck them all around.
"NO!" screamed Zack.
"Leave them alone, you wretched lady!" Alice yelled.
"Take this thing down!" Florian cried, pounding his fists against the shield.
"Now you face all the powers of evil!" Maleficent roared as she unleashed multiple spells that struck Hayner, Pence, and Olette, causing them to scream in pain as they were bruised, singed, and almost blinded by the magic as they ended up crashing into the ground.
When the dust settled, Hayner, Pence, and Olette were covered in cuts, bruises, and streaks of blood. Their clothes were torn and singed and their hair frazzled. They groaned in pain and struggled to move.
"Hayner!" cried Happy.
"Pence!" cried Sneezy.
"Olette!" cried Sleepy.
"You horrid beast! Leave them alone!" snapped Grumpy.
"Quiet, you fools!" Maleficent snapped back. She looked at the trio. "You may have bested three members of Organization XIII, but you were only able to do so because you had help. By yourselves, you are nothing more than what I thought you were: mediocre Keybearers. You're a disgrace to the title of Keyblade Master. Your quick training with your friends in that wretched Secret Forest was all for nothing! And I'm going to make an example of you once and for all!"
The group outside the barrier yelled at the trio.
"Come on you three, get up!" said Grumpy.
"Hayner, Pence, Olette, can you hear us?!" Florian called.
"You can still fight!" urged Sneezy.
"We believe in you!" encouraged Sleepy.
"It's not the end of you!" called Bashful.
"You're stronger than that wicked old hag!" Doc added.
"You've been strong for all of us! Be strong for yourselves!" called Snow White.
"Let your hearts heal you! They helped you be strong, brave, and powerful against all evil!" said Alice.
"You inspired us!" Happy added, Dopey nodding rapidly in agreement.
"Maleficent may be the Mistress of Evil, but you three are a hundred times more powerful than she will ever be!" encouraged Phillip.
"Your hearts are strong and have helped you throughout your journey and allowed you to best the most heinous of villains!" Aurora encouraged. "You can best Maleficent too!"
"Listen to them, you guys!" Zack pleaded. "They believe in you! I believe in you too! Call to your hearts! Build that strength! You can beat Maleficent!"
The words of everyone outside the shield echoed in the trio's heads. Something began to stir inside their hearts. Suddenly, their eyes shot open, glowing in light.
Suddenly, there was a burst of light from the Twilight Trio that knocked Maleficent backwards.
"Agh! What the devil?!" Maleficent shouted, taken aback.
Everyone watched in shock as light engulfed the Twilight Trio before it rose into the air. Then, the light burst and revealed them floating in the air, coated in light.
"Wh-What!?" Maleficent gasped stunned.
"How's this for mediocre?!" Hayner smirked.
"Surprise!" laughed Pence.
"How is this possible?!" Maleficent demanded.
"Our friends' encouragement built up the strength of the light in our hearts, that's what!" Olette replied with a smirk.
"Let's armor up!" Hayner called.
Putting their right arms to their left shoulders, a flash of light surrounded Hayner, Pence, and Olette once more. When it faded, they were in their Keyblade armor they had received after defeating the 2014 versions of Thanos and his army in the MCU.
"Wow! Look at that!" said Doc, impressed as he adjusted his glasses for a better look.
"What is that attire?" Snow White asked in awe.
"That looks like knight armor! But more… colorful!" said Aurora, stunned.
"Keyblade Armor!" Zack grinned. "I haven't seen them don their armor in months!"
Hayner, Pence, and Olette landed on the ground, clutching their Keyblades once more.
"Whaddya say we break this barrier down?" Hayner suggested.
"Let's use our colorful upgrade!" suggested Olette.
"3, 2, 1, GO!" Pence yelled.
The three raised their Keyblades and suddenly, a burst of rainbow magic collected from the Dwarf Woodlands' rainbow burst out from them. A rainbow stream struck the forcefield and shattered it.
"Yes! You did it!" cheered Zack.
"You're lee at fast-er-free at last!" cheered Doc.
"I always knew that rainbow was more magical than meets the eye!" said Happy.
"Thanks guys!" smiled Olette before turning serious. "Now come on, we have an evil fairy to take down!"
"Are you sure we can take her?!" Bashful asked, worried.
"If we wanna get outta here, then yes!" said Hayner. "You guys with us?"
The group traded glances. Members of Organization XIII were one thing, but Maleficent was the Mistress of Evil.
"Oh, you know I'm always willing to fight alongside you guys and our friends!" Zack grinned, drawing his sword.
"I fought her before, and I can do it again!" Phillip said determinedly as he summoned Blade of Truth and had his shield ready too.
"I won't let her get away with any more evil again!" said Aurora, summoning Fairy Stars.
Feeling a sense of encouragement from their old and new friends, Snow White, Florian, and Alice summoned Treasure Trove, Gleaming Gem, and Lady Luck while the Seven Dwarves drew their mining tools.
"You're outnumbered, Maleficent!" said Pence.
"We aren't going down!" declared Hayner.
"We're ready for you!" Olette finished.
Maleficent was finally over the shock as she smirked devilishly before laughing. "You really think that? Even donning that armor and gaining more allies isn't enough for you to defeat me!" she said, green wisps of magic swirling around her. "Do any of you remember or even bother to listen!? I am the Mistress of Evil! The most dangerous of villains any of you have ever faced! You may outnumber me, but I outrank you!"
"Someone loves herself an awful lot." grunted Grumpy.
"See for yourself—all the powers of hell!" Maleficent boomed as she suddenly began to transform to the sound of a lightning bolt striking.
Under their helmets, Hayner, Pence, Olette, and Zack's eyes widened, Phillip paled, and everyone else watched in shock and horror as Maleficent transformed into her dragon form.
"H-H-Holy mother of pearl!" gasped Doc.
"What is that thing?!" yelled Sleepy.
"It's a DRAGON!" screamed Bashful.
"Don't let her spook you!" said Hayner.
"Easy for you to say, she's some sort of shapeshifter!" Grumpy exclaimed.
"If we let fear control us, then we're done for!" said Zack.
"Focus on what's more important!" encouraged Olette. "The fight for our freedom and to take down the Mistress of all Evil! Listen to your hearts!"
"They're right! I fought her before with the help of Aqua, so I can do it again!" said Phillip.
Despite the fear of a massive, fire-breathing dragon in front of them, the rest of the group did their best to gather their courage and got into fighting stances.
The fight was on now.

"Here… now!" Phillip yelled as Maleficent tried breathing her green fire at them, forcing them to scatter to avoid getting incinerated.
Hayner jumped into the air to cast Fission Firaga back at Maleficent, aiming for the head. But it caused minimal effect as the dragoness fired six Fira balls at him, knocking him away. Olette tried using Wateraga from down below to extinguish any fire in Maleficent's mouth, but it barely helped as Maleficent stomped on the floor, creating a shock wave that knocked her backwards. Pence tried jumping up and slashing Maleficent across her scales before casting Thundaga Shot at her. Maleficent clawed him out of the way. Aurora slashed at Maleficent's legs with her Keyblade and attempted to use Fire spells to burn her herself. She ducked from a sudden tail swing and had to jump out of the way of more Fira balls being blown at her. Phillip jumped up and tried slashing Maleficent with his sword and Keyblade across her wings before casting Thunder at them with the latter weapon. Maleficent smacked him with her wings and slammed him to the ground with her claws. But before she could squish him, Florian came to his fellow prince's rescue by firing Blizzard spells at Maleficent. Maleficent growled and tried biting at him, forcing Florain to jump out of the way from the large, sharp teeth almost crushing him. Snow White came to her husband's rescue by running up from the left and slashing her Keyblade against Maleficent's massive jaws and then casted Pearl against her. Maleficent flew up and breathed out more fire, forcing Snow White to jump for cover. Alice casted Blizzard spells at Maleficent's face and body as she bravely ran up to her, using the distraction to run to the right and slash her across the tail. Maleficent's tail whacked Alice to the side in her Tail Spin move. The Seven Dwarves ran at Maleficent from all directions. Doc and Happy slashed at her left leg, Grumpy and Dopey at her right leg, and Bashful, Sleepy, and Sneezy with her back. Maleficent flew up to knock the latter three off her back and then used her Firaga Breath to breathe fire from left to right, forcing them to run to avoid getting burned. Zack used this opportunity to perform Meteor, dropping eight meteorites down on Maleficent. The spikey-haired swordsman then jumped onto her back and performed his Continuous Slash technique, slashing her back and the back of her long neck vertically and horizontally. Maleficent flew up and spun around to throw Zack off her back as he landed on the ground. Smirking, the fairy-turned-dragon used her Firaga Breath once more on the ground, coating it in green fire and trapping everyone. Maleficent flew down and struck the ground in her Earth Shake move, causing everyone to fall over. But then, Hayner used Deep Freeze by blasting the spell in Maleficent's face, coating it in ice. He then used Watera to put out the fire as Pence took action, jumping up and casting Triple Plasma at the dragon to stun her further. Olette then backed up her friends as she jumped up and casted Mega Flare at Maleficent's throat, causing it to explode on impact.
These stunts allowed their friends time to get back up, ready for more.
"Wanna call it quits?" Zack taunted as he ran at the massive dragon.
As Maleficent regained her surroundings, Zack unleashed his Blade Beam move, raising his sword as a shock wave traveled across the ground and then struck Maleficent. But she was barely affected as she stomped the ground in her Combo Shake; first her left foot and then her right, creating two shockwaves that made everyone stumble and fall over, some even rolling across the ground. Snow White managed to get back up and run at Maleficent from the right, firing Thunder spells at her chest and neck before jumping up, trying to slash her around. The bow-wearing princess quickly ducked to avoid getting thrashed by dragon claws, allowing Alice to slide under Maleficent and strike her stomach with Lady Luck before firing as many Water spells at her before she slid away from the dragon. Alice was knocked away by Maleficent's tail before Pence jumped onto her back and tried electrocuting her with Exo Spark spells. Maleficent flew up and flew across the area, trying to knock Pence off. He ended up falling off her back, but clung onto her left wing. Seeing this, Florian quickly casted Fire spells to strike Maleficent. Several of them managed to impact with her, but Maleficent was able to shrug them off with ease and tried to burn Florian with her Fira balls, blowing eight of them out. But Aurora saw this and used Aero to send the Fira balls back at Maleficent. She then jumped up and fired a Blizzard spell back at her. Maleficent roared in anger and stomped on the ground again, this time trying to crush them with her bare claws and feet. The Seven Dwarves formed a ladder with each other with Doc on top and they managed to land on Maleficent's back. Doc helped his fellow dwarves up and they began to slash and stab Maleficent across her back and neck. Maleficent roared in anger, irritation, and slight pain and tried to shake them off. The seven little men fell off her back and plummeted towards the ground below, but Phillip used Gravity to slow them down and they landed safely on the floor. Maleficent breathed more fire at him, but Phillip fired Water to extinguish it, followed by Blizzard. The combination of spells managed to put out the green fire breath and knock into Maleficent's head.
Maleficent roared and stomped on the ground, making everyone stumble around, struggling not to fall over.
"I think we made her mad!" said Sneezy.
"Gee, ya think?!" grumped Grumpy.
"Look out from high above!" yelled Florian.
And the prince clad in blue was right. Maleficent had breathed out more green Fira orbs that landed on the ground in explosions, knocking everyone over. She landed on the ground with a hard thud and then stomped her left foot.
Heartless suddenly emerged from the ground. There were Shadows, Soldiers, Search Ghosts, Dire Plants, Pink Possessors, and Rapid Thrusters.
"Are you kidding me?!" Phillip shouted in annoyance.
"This battle's hard enough already!" groaned Alice.
"We'll buy you guys time to catch your breath!" said Hayner. "Pence! Olette!"
The two brunettes quickly joined Hayner as he pulled out the large summon charm. Pence and Olette grabbed it with Hayner before the three of them held it high together.
"GIVE US STRENGTH!" they yelled.
A large burst of light exploded near them. As soon as it faded away, there before them stood the nine core emotions.
Joy had a rather slim figure with a light yellow skin-tone and was bioluminescent, emitting a bright blue light from her body and a pure yellow glow around her feet. She had shimmering azure-blue hair kept into a pixie cut with bangs that silked down the left side of her face, and a small tuft sticking up at the top near the reciting hairline, large oval-shaped azure eyes outlined in a dark navy-blue, faint rosy cheeks and thin, salmon-pink colored lips. She wore a sleeveless, knee-length, light chartreuse dress with thin, silverish lines crisscrossed all over, and it was topped off with several light blue shapes, and was also barefoot with toe-less feet.
Sadness had a rather rounded and chubby figure with blue skin, royal-blue eyes, sparkly, sapphire hair kept into an asymmetrical bob, and buck teeth, wearing a pair of rather large, very dark purple round glasses, a pale gray turtleneck sweater, navy-blue pants and slippers.
Disgust was a green-skinned female with a slender, curvy, and petite build with shoulder-length, sparkling forest-green hair and thin eyebrows, emerald-green eyes with exactly four green lengthy eyelashes, faint pink eyeshadow and blush, and orchid lipstick. She wore a sparkling orchid-colored tulle ascot-scarf around her neck, a sleeveless parakeet-green dress with a floral-like pattern colored in sky-blue and pale green, with a pair of latex forest-green capri leggings underneath, a mint-green belt with both darker-colored trim and a darker-colored buckle that vaguely resembles the letter "D", and orchid ballet flats.
Fear was thin and lanky with light purple skin, a long bean shaped nose, one curled strand of hair, thick purpleish-black eyebrows, and purple eyes. He wore a powder blue shirt with thin white stripes, a houndstooth sweater vest, a magenta bow tie, violet pants, and black dress shoes.
Anger was brick-shaped with red skin that matched with his eye color. He wore a white-collar shirt with rolled up sleeves and a red-and-gray necktie with a zig-zagged pattern, dark burgundy slacks with a brown belt, and black dress shoes.
Anxiety was orange with a frog-like face, a volcanic eruption-like yarn style updo of a darker shade of the same color and jade green eyes, wearing an orange and white-striped mock neck wool sweater, rust red pants attached by a dark chocolate brown belt with a gold button-shaped buckle, and dark brown military tightly laced up boots.
Envy was a fairly small emotion with aquamarine skin, a tiny body, and a head larger than her body. She had neck-length teal wavy/curly hair with some unruly strands tied up in two magenta hair clips, big, round aquamarine eyes that always filled with brilliance, has freckles in the middle of her eyes and wore pink blush on her cheeks. She wore a lilac long-sleeved dress with a magenta collar and white polka dots, brilliant purple leggings, and teal boots.
Embarrassment was the biggest of them all, with bright pink skin, small pink eyes, a very huge, rounded nose in proportion to the size of his head, magenta pink hair, and slightly reddened cheeks. He wore a light magenta hooded sweater with a drawstring, purple jeans, and red sneakers with white soles.
Ennui looked similar to Fear, though she had a longer, triangle-shaped nose and multiple strands of hair. She had muted periwinkle skin, dull lavender eyes, and very long straight indigo hair with straight bangs hiding her eyebrows. She wore an indigo sweatshirt and sweatpants and gray socks with blueish-gray heels and toes.
"Time for emotions to go wild!" Joy grinned. "CHARGE!"
The nine emotions scattered across to fight the Heartless.
Joy spun around several Shadows like an ice skater, dodging their attacks. "Let's put some light in your life!" Joy taunted as she spun around again, throwing joyful memory orbs at the Heartless. "Smile once in a while!" she called as she brought out her accordion, wrapped one Shadow around it, and spun it around so fast it crashed into the other Heartless.
Sadness tried taking on some Soldiers, but their scary appearances and claw attacks scared her to tears. "You're scary!" Sadness cried before she began to cry. Her tears formed puddles that the Soldiers began to slip and fall over. "Don't make me cry!" Sadness yelled as she threw sad memory orbs into the Heartless like bowling balls, and then herself as one too.
Anger punched the Pink Possessors away from him. "You're working my last nerve!" he yelled before he threw angry memory orbs into their faces. A hoard of Pink Possessors began to fly down at him. Anger gritted his teeth as his head began to heat up. "I'll show you an angry attack!" he roared before he screamed in rage as fire surged from his head. He bent forward to burn the Heartless to the ground.
Disgust dodged several Dire Plants' attacks by jumping out of the way. "You freaks disgust me!" she yelled, throwing disgusting memory orbs at them. She then took off her scarf and used it as a whip to strike them. "I've literally had it with you lot!" Disgust shouted as she suddenly whipped out some broccoli bombs, tossing them, and they exploded, killing the Dire Plants.
Fear yelped and screamed from the sight of the Search Ghosts floating at him. "Run away!" Fear cried as he ran into the Heartless at full speed, knocking them over. He then threw scary memory orbs at the Search Ghosts. "Fear the fearful!" He yelled as he tuck-and-rolled into the Heartless, knocking them away.
Anxiety was running rapidly while avoiding the Soldier Heartless, ranting off various possibilities. "If I attack above, they go low! If I attack low, they go above! Oh, the wrong move and we're all DEAD!" she cried, smacking heavy baggage in her hands into two Soldier Heartless's faces. She then threw stressed memory orbs at them. Then, Anxiety gasped. "I KNOW!" she grinned. She chugged three energy drinks at once and then ran very fast in circles around the Heartless, creating a large orange tornado that sucked them all up and then blew them in all directions.
Envy rolled out of the way from Rapid Thrusters flying down at her, the advantage working for her due to her small size. Then she threw envious memory orbs at them. "I wish I was as powerful as you!" she yelled as she jumped up onto one Heartless and then jumped across each Rapid Thruster like they were stepping stones while throwing envious memory orbs at them. "I don't envy your upcoming defeat!" Envy yelled, throwing herself at each Heartless while curling up, bouncing off of them like a pinball, causing the Heartless to fall all around the place.
Ennui was indifferent about the fight, but still fought by smacking her phone into Soldier Heartless. "This bores me to la mort." she drawled, bending over backwards with ease to dodge their attacks. Ennui used her phone to launch boring memory orbs at the Soldiers. One attacked her from behind, knocking her phone out of her hands. Ennui was shocked. "Zut alors! Non non non, YOU VILL PAY!" she snapped, grabbing one Soldier and then spun around, smacking it into every other Heartless around her at a quick pace.
Embarrassment was nervous fighting, punching away Search Ghosts that came near him. He whimpered as he pulled his hoodie down over his eyes and tried to curl up, unintentionally knocking into a Search Ghost. Feeling some encouragement, Embarrassment began to throw embarrassed memory orbs at the spooky Heartless. He wasn't so shy to fight now! "I got this in the bag!" Embarrassment grinned, ditching the hood as he grabbed two Heartless, smashed them together, and then smashed the ground with his fists, his strength creating a shockwave that knocked the rest away.
"Emotions, get in check!" Joy called.
Sadness, Anxiety, Fear, Ennui, Anger, Embarrassment, Disgust, and Envy gathered together. They raised their hands as a giant memory orb sporting all their colors formed above them. It glowed as bright as a core memory.
"EMOTIONAL BREAKTHROUGH!" the nine yelled together as they slammed the giant memory orb on top of the Heartless, creating an explosion of light, killing them.
The emotions cheered.
"Yes, we did it!" cheered Sadness.
"It all worked out!" cheered Anxiety.
"Thanks to us!" beamed Embarrassment.
"Thanks guys." smiled Hayner.
"Consider us emotional support." Joy smiled.
"Oh, how sweet!"
Everyone looked over and saw Nostalgia suddenly toddle up.
Nostalgia was an elderly lady with a gray colored tone and brown clothes. She had taupe colored wrinkled skin and sepia, curly hair. She wore a brown dress with a green and pink plaid shawl, dark red plaid slippers, and white and pink gradient rimmed glasses with pink lenses.
"Oh, remember when we defeated all the bad guys and saved the day?" she asked longingly.
"We just did that!" the trio and emotions all said at once.
"Oh, of course we did!" Nostalgia beamed as she smacked the last Shadow to the ground with a nostalgic memory orb and stomped on its head, all without changing her happy, longing expression.
In a flash of light, all ten emotions disappeared.
Maleficent snarled as she began to fly back at the heroes. But by then, Zack, the princesses, princes, and dwarves had recovered and got back up.
"Let's finish this!" said Pence.
"Way ahead of you!" said Zack, charging at Maleficent. "You can't escape!" he yelled.
Maleficent breathed more Fira orbs, but Zack performed True Climhazzard, sending a shockwave that sent the orbs back at the dragon striking her. The swordsman then jumped up and performed Reverse Omnislash, releasing his spirit, warp slashing the dragoness 11 times, slashed up then down, and then had his fighting spirit strike in all directions. Alice ran up and casted Fire spells at Maleficent's front. She then slashed at her front legs with Lady Luck. Florian slashed the back legs with his sword to help Alice. Florian then casted Blizzard spells at Maleficent's wings so she couldn't fly. The Seven Dwarves slashed at Maleficent's stomach with their mining equipment. When Maleficent tried to knock them away with her tail, they jumped up onto her tail and jammed their weapons into it as hard as they could, making Maleficent roar in pain. She tried using her Firaga Breath again, but then Snow White fired many Water spells to extinguish it. Phillip then backed up Snow White by casting Deep Freeze around Maleficent's mouth, freezing it shut. They then charged at Maleficent and slashed her as many times as they could with their Keyblades. They then jumped out of the way as Aurora shot up into the air, yelling like mad as she slashed Maleficent's head many times with Fairy Stars and then casted Thunder spells to hurt the fairy-turned-dragoness even further.
"That's what you get after all you've done, you monster!" Aurora snapped, firing orbs of light into Maleficent's face, followed by a Fire spell to burn her.
Maleficent roared in anger and tried to attack again, but Hayner, Pence, and Olette beat her to the punch. Hayner jumped up and fired Raging Storm against the dragoness, flame pillars singeing her all around. As soon as he landed, Hayner casted Triple Pursuit, ice chunks crashing into her from all directions. Pence fired Ignite at Maleficent, knocking her head back. He then jumped up, coated his Keyblade in fire, and performed a Fire Strike as he spun around slashing Maleficent. As Pence landed, Olette casted Thunder Tracer, lighting bolts hitting Maleficent from all directions. Before Maleficent could react, Olette casted Transcendence, which managed to make the large dragon fall over since she was wounded from so many attacks at once.
"Time to finish this!" Hayner declared. "Pence! Olette!"
"Let's do this!" Pence grinned.
"I'm with ya, boys!" Olette smirked.
The trio jumped into the air together. Hayner raised Phantom Green into the air, the blade coating in fire. Pence and Olette followed suit with Midnight Blue and Dawn Till Dusk.
"I'll show ya!" he yelled.
20 orbs of fire flew out and soared right into Maleficent, dealing a lot of fire damage.
"My turn to fight!" Pence yelled as he began to spin around like a tornado, generating Aeroga spells that managed to uplift the weakened dragon and knock her down to the ground.
"Time to shine!" Olette yelled as she generated a large amount of Pearl magic that shout out in six different directions that struck Maleficent in six different areas.
"All together!" the trio cried in unison.
Calling to their hearts, Hayner, Pence, and Olette glowed bright twilight orange as they raised their Keyblades up. The orange light generated above them into a large orb that grew bigger and bigger.
"TWILIGHT STRIKE!" Hayner, Pence, and Olette yelled.
With a grunt, the trio sent the large orb of light right into Maleficent, creating a large explosion of it that almost blinded their friends and sent the dragon flying away from them and crashing onto the ground.

As the light simmered down, everyone caught their breath as Hayner, Pence, and Olette lowered themselves to the ground. Olette casted Curaga on everyone to heal them and then she and her best friends dismissed their armor.
"Did you see that?! Did you guys see that?!" Pence asked excitedly. "We just performed our Twilight Strike combo!"
"I've been waiting ages for us to finally use that combo!" Hayner grinned.
"That was quite an impressive move!" said Phillip, amazed. "How did you do that?"
"We've been practicing ever since our friends went to China to become kung fu masters." said Pence. "After seeing their combo moves while fighting a bunch of aliens, we just had to come up with one ourselves!"
"After all these months, it's finally paid off!" Olette beamed. "Twilight Strike went off without a hitch!"
"You guys pulled it off very well." praised Zack. "If Sora, Aqua, Terra, Ven, and the others were here, they'd be very impressed and proud."
"Thanks, Zack." said Hayner. "Now come on, with the Gummiship wrecked, we're gonna have to get back by foot."
"What about Maleficent?" asked Aurora.
Suddenly, a dark swirl flew into the sky and disappeared outta sight.
"I think she just called it quits." Happy said, watching the evil fairy disappear.
At that moment, the entire area that used to be the lair for Maleficent and her rogue gallery began to glow.
"Ooh, I know what that means!" Alice said excitedly.
"Who's gonna do the honors this time?" Snow White questioned.
"I think all three of you should do it." encourage Zack.
Olette beamed and resummoned Dawn Till Dusk. "Whaddya say, boys?" she asked.
Hayner and Pence shared their friend's grin as they resummoned Phantom Green and Midnight Blue.
"Let's do it!" the boys said in unison.
The trio held their Keyblades out as a crown emblem appeared under all their feet.
Maleficent's old lair shot a beam of light into the sky, revealing Radiant Garden's keyhole.
Hayner, Pence, and Olette aimed their Keyblades up high together, tips touching as a combined beam of light shot out and into the keyhole. A locking sound was heard as the keyhole vanished.
"And that takes care of that!" Hayner beamed as he and his friends dismissed their Keyblades. "Come on everyone, let's get walking."
"What about the Gummiship?" asked Sneezy, gesturing to the damage piece of flying transportation.
"Ah, we'll have Cid get it towed back to the castle or Merlin's place, and they can fix it up tout suite." said Zack, waving off the dwarf's concern.
"Come on, let's go!" said Olette.
With that, the group began to walk out of the area and towards Radiant Garden's castle.
Secret Forest:
Ansem the Wise was observing the current status of the Army of Light with Tifa, Yuffie, and Cloud standing with him. The Keyblade wielders were in the simulator fighting copies of Shadow, Darkball, and Icy Beast Heartless, Sorcerer, Sniper, and Assassin Nobodies, and Archraven, Bruiser, and Blobmob Unversed.
Cid typed on the keyboard as Aerith and Leon stood beside him. "Alright, commence the fighting sequence in 4… 3… 2… 1!" he hollered.
The Keybearers in the Army of Light began to fight.
Jasmine slashed at Archravens who tried to fly down at her and then used Aerora to send them flying away.
Elsa dodged ice blasts from an Icy Beast, fired her own ice magic back at it, and then casted Fira to destroy it.
Woody spin-slashed an Assassin while ducking from its blades. The cowboy doll used Bind to hold two of them in place and then used Thunder Tracer to knock them away.
Kit Charming dodged a Blobmob covered in spikes as he fired orbs of light at it. He used Dark Firaga to knock it backwards and then slashed it away.
Kida spin-kicked a Bruiser while dodging its punches. The Atlantean Queen then used Exo Spark to electrocute it before she slashed it to the ground.
Mike slashed at some Shadows while dodging their claw swipes. The one-eyed monster then held them back by casting a Cyclone spell before he rolled himself like a bowling ball to crash into them, sending them in all directions.
Kristoff fired Watera at a Sorcerer, but it blocked it with its shield. Thinking quickly, Kristoff used Raging Storm, the three fire pillars crashing into it at once.
Aladdin jumped up high to avoid two Darkballs running into him. As soon as he landed, Aladdin casted Magnet to bring them closer to him before he spin-slashed them away.
Anna duck-and-rolled to avoid three Snipers firing at her, turning back to cast Exo Spark to electrocute them. Anna then jumped back on her feet, ran at the electrocuted Nobodies, and then slashed them left, right, and center.
Pacha punched away Shadows trying to jump attack him from all sides. When three jumped at him, Pacha slashed them away. Seeing another three, Pacha quickly thought of an idea as he casted Fission Firaga to destroy them all at once.
Rapunzel slashed her Keyblade against three Darkballs in a row, but they retaliated by trying to bite her. The no-longer-lost princess quickly used Deep Freeze to freeze them in place. As soon as they landed on the ground, Rapunzel slashed them away.
Kuzco ducked from the swings of the Assassins while slashing at their arms. Kuzco then rolled out of the way of the two Nobodies as he got up, spun around to slash them, and then used two Time Bomb spells to finish them off.
Cinderella used Fira to defend herself against two Icy Beasts, melting their ice blasts. The impact of the fire spell also managed to damage them, allowing Cinderella to finish them with a Faith spell.
Milo yelped as a Bruiser almost punched him in the eyeglasses. The linguist used Blizzard on its arms to freeze them in place. Seeing that he managed to slow the Unversed down, Milo casted Zero Gravira to lift it into the air and then fired Pearl to finish it off.
Eugene swung his Keyblade at some Snipers, ducking from their shots. Eugene slashed their homing light arrows and then he quickly casted Quake to knock them into the air and slamming into the floor.
Sulley punched some Archravens who were diving at him from all directions. The blue-furred monster then let out a fierce roar that stunned all the airborne Heartless, followed by Thundara to electrocute them further, and then slashed them with his Keyblade to finish them off.
Buzz quickly dodged some shots that were launched by Sorcerers as he quickly swung his Keyblade to knock them back. The space ranger then casted Aerora to launch them higher into the air as Buzz then fired his laser to destroy them.
"As you can see, our scientist friends' simulator helps the army get ready to face off against the regular creatures of darkness." said Yuffie.
"Whether they are a part of the Keyblade War, or if any of those creatures spawn out of the blue in their home worlds." added Tifa.
"And a good way to master spells to fight against any bad guys in general, especially if they have powers of their own." said Cloud.
"Very impressive." Ansem mused, impressed. "This is a good way for them to expand their learning skills in Keyblade magic. Yen Sid would approve very much."
"But they can go further!" Yuffie piped up before turning to the control room. "Hey, you three! Give them a hard one!"
"You heard her, Cid. What's a tough monster?" asked Leon.
"Let's see here…" Cid said as he scanned the console. "They took on simulations of the Shadow Stalker, Behemoth, Trickmaster… ah, here we go! Dark Thorn!"
Aerith reached over and pressed the button for the Dark Thorn simulation before speaking into the microphone. "Alright guys, Dark Thorn approaching now!"
The simulations for the various creatures deactivated and then a new one created a simulation of the Dark Thorn Heartless.
"Well, that one's creepy beyond all reason." murmured Pacha.
"Hey, relax village leader, we got this!" Sulley encouraged.
The Dark Thorn roared as it lunged its claws at the group, forcing them to scatter.
"Okay, we got ourselves a Heartless that looks like it belongs in a cave with a bear!" said Kuzco. "How should we do this?!"
Demon orbs emerged from the ground.
"Get those things first!" said Woody.
"Way ahead of ya, cowboy!" said Aladdin. He raised his Keyblade and casted Blizzara at the orbs, sending them crashing onto the ground.
"I got the left side!" said Rapunzel, casting Watera on the orbs.
"I'll discombobulate it!" said Kida, casting Blackout on the Dark Thorn, making it stumble around before it tried to swipe it's hand at the Keybearers.
"Holding it back!" Eugene yelled as he casted Pearl at the claws.
"Legs, Eugene, get the legs!" said Rapunzel.
Eugene fired more Pearl spells at the Dark Thorn's legs, making it stumble around even more.
"Alright, it's ripe for the weakening!" Mike grinned.
"Let's finish it!" Elsa said, determined.
Anna fired Fira spells at the Dark Thorn, followed by Kit running up beside it and casting Thundara to weaken it further. Sulley slashed it across its face several times and then casted Crawling Fire to wound it some more. Elsa used her ice magic to bind it to the ground before Buzz finished off the fight with a series of Thundaga Shot spells that finally destroyed the Dark Thorn.
"That's a wrap everyone, well done!" Leon praised.
The Keybearers cheered as they exited the simulator.
"Wow, what a work out!" said Eugene.
"I think we're getting better every time!" said Aladdin.
"Also works up one heck of a sweat." said Kristoff.
Cloud clapped Milo and Kit on the shoulders. "Great job, everyone. Drink up, get some food, then relax. We'll be going next, and then the rest of your friends." he said.
"Sounds good to us!" said Cinderella.
"My apprentices were right, you have done a stellar job." said Ansem.
"Thank you, Ansem the Wise." thanked Kida.
Then, the portal to Disney Castle turned on… and the music from Apollo 11 began to play.
"Is… someone playing music?" asked Woody, looking around in confusion.
At that moment, Hayner, Pence, and Olette came out of the portal in their Keyblade Armor.
"Hey, Hayner, Pence, and Olette are back!" said Rapunzel.
But they weren't alone. One by one, Zack, Snow White, Florian, Aurora, Phillip, Alice, Dopey, Happy, Doc, Grumpy, Sleepy, Sneezy, and Bashful came out of the portal behind them.
"Zack! You're back!" Aerith said happily.
"Hey guys!" Zack greeted.
Hayner, Pence, and Olette dismissed their helmets.
"Miss us?" Hayner smirked.
"Welcome back, all of you." said Leon.
"And we see you brought more members for the Army of Light." said Cloud.
"Yeah, we did!" Pence said proudly.
Jasmine and Cinderella gasped when they saw who was there.
"Snow White! Aurora! Alice!" gasped Jasmine.
The three ladies gasped as well.
"Jasmine! Cinderella!" exclaimed Alice.
"Hayner, Pence, and Olette were right, you're both here!" exclaimed Aurora.
The former Princesses of Hearts ran up and hugged each other.
"It's been so long since we've seen you!" said Jasmine.
"You're all looking very well since Fake Ansem caused all that trouble!" said Cinderella.
"And so are you!" said Snow White, beaming. "Oh, it's so wonderful to see you again!"
"Would you look at that, five of the original Seven Princesses of Heart reunited." mused Tifa.
"All that's missing is Kairi and Belle." quipped Yuffie.
"Well, Kairi's out traveling." reminded Tifa.
"And Belle's world isn't in danger at the moment." added Cid. "But hey, after today's events for those three, I'd say it's only a matter of time."
"Don't say it like that." frowned Aerith.
"Just sayin'." Cid shrugged.
"Oh! We would like to introduce you to four of our successors." Cinderella remembered.
Seeing that was their cue to talk, Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Kida walked up.
"It is nice to finally meet you three." Rapunzel smiled. "I'm Rapunzel, Princess of Corona."
"I'm Anna, Princess of Arendelle." greeted Anna.
"My name is Elsa, Anna's older sister and the queen of Arendelle." Elsa said.
"And I'm Kidagakash Nedakh, but you can call me Kida." Kida said. "Queen of Atlantis."
"It is very nice to meet you four." Alice said politely.
"Hmm…" hummed Snow White. "From what we were told, you four and Kairi make five. So… who are six and seven, I wonder?"
"No idea." shrugged Rapunzel.
"But whoever they are, we hope to meet them!" said Jasmine.
"Us too. Oh, and these are our husbands we told you about!" Aurora said as the princes walked up.
"Greetings. I am Prince Florian." said Florian.
"And I am Prince Phillip." Phillip said.
"How nice to meet you at last." smiled Cinderella. "This is my husband, Kit Charming."
"How do you do?" Kit greeted.
"And this is my newlywed husband, Aladdin." said Jasmine.
"Hey! Nice to meet you!" Aladdin grinned.
"And these are my little friends I also told you about." Snow White piped up, gesturing to the Seven Dwarves.
"Hey, they're little men!" said Kuzco.
"Kuzco, be nice!" hissed Rapunzel.
"Charmed to meet such fine acquaintances!" said Doc.
"Yeah! It's good to join in this army here!" said Happy. "Ain't that right, Grumpy?"
"Heh, suppose so." Grumpy humphed.
"Well, it's nice to meet all of you." said Woody, tipping his cowboy hat.
"So the last mission in Traverse Town was a success?" Aerith asked Zack.
"It sure was!" Zack said. "And it was intense too! Sephiroth showed his cat-eyed face down there!"
Cloud almost choked on a gasp. "Sephiroth was there?!" he shouted.
"Yes. And he was after me for the Organization." said Alice, shivering.
"I helped protect Alice before these three showed up." Zack said, gesturing to the Twilight Town trio. "And then after we kicked his ass, restored Wonderland after pieces of it scattered across Traverse Town, Maleficent ambushed us and we all had to kick her ass next!"
"You fought Maleficent as well?!" Aerith exclaimed in shock.
"It wasn't easy." said Pence.
"But in the end, we pulled through." said Hayner.
"All of us." Olette said proudly, looking at Zack, the princesses, princes, and dwarf miners.
"Yeah! That fight tuckered me out." yawned Sleepy.
"Sounds like it." chuckled Kristoff.
"By the way Cid, Maleficent crashed into your Gummiship when we were coming in to drop it off." Pence remembered.
"WHAT!?" Cid yelled. "That fairy did what to my good ride!? Damn it, if it wasn't a suicidal mission I'd smack that bitch in every single direction until she's seeing stars and stripes!"
"That I'd love to see!" Aurora giggled.
"Guess I gotta call Artemis and tell him he's got his work cut out for him…" Cid muttered.
"So the missions went well in the end." Ansem remarked.
Hayner, Pence, Olette, and Zack jumped.
"Ansem the Wise!" gasped Hayner. "We didn't see you there!"
Ansem smiled and chuckled softly. "I've been checking on the progress for the Army of Light, and it's going very well." he said. "And I have heard you three have gone to three different worlds while Sora, Riku, King Mickey, and their whole team are away at the Pride Lands."
"And it was successful, Master Ansem."
Everyone looked over to see Ienzo, Aeleus, Even, and Dilan walk out of the portal to Radiant Garden. It had been Ienzo who spoke.
"Hayner, Pence, and Olette's actions have indeed saved three different worlds from the forces of darkness." Ienzo continued.
"We checked the computer in the castle." said Dilan. "Dwarf Woodlands, Enchanted Dominion, Traverse Town, and even the restored Wonderland are all safe."
"They're heroes, these three." said Aeleus. "They went above and beyond to save not one, but four different worlds in the span of a day."
"Including our own." said Even, smiling proudly at the trio. "They're worthy Keyblade Masters, even though they're several months away from a year since they started wielding them. Once the other Guardians of Light return, we know they will be very proud of them. Like all of us."
"And we are grateful for all you've done." smiled Aurora.
"You helped save us all!" said Snow White.
"You went the distance four times!" added Alice.
"You three really pulled it off today." smiled Leon.
"You're more than just the regular trainers to the Army of Light." said Aerith. "You're true heroes, Keyblades or not."
"And we're happy you're a part of the army in general." said Zack. "You're true Guardians of Light."
Hayner, Pence, and Olette smiled from ear to ear, happy for the praise everyone eas giving them.
"Thanks guys." smiled Pence. "That means an awful lot to us."
"We're happy we could help out in any way we could." said Olette.
"Kicked some bad guy ass, saved some worlds, and recruited a dozen people for the army." said Hayner. "We'll tell you all about it later. Right now, after fighting so many villains and finding the right music to use for a badass entrance here, the three of us would like to rest."
"That would be a good idea." Ansem nodded. "And you have earned it more than enough after today."
"Don't worry about the new recruits." said Cloud. "We'll look after them."
"Thanks a million." smiled Olette. "See you guys tomorrow."
And with that, the trio went through the portal to Twilight Town.
"So… where are we gonna stay?" Bashful asked.
Before anyone could reply, Jaq and Gus scurried up.
"Cinderelly! Cinderelly!" Jaq squeaked.
"Jaq? Gus? What is it?" Cinderella asked.
"Magic near houses! Magic near houses!" said Jaq.
"Duh, yeah, come and see!" said Gus.
"I think I know why they're appearing." chuckled Jasmine. "Everyone new, follow us."
The latest members of the Army of Light followed Jasmine, Cinderella, Jaq, and Gus towards the homes the army was staying in.
When they arrived, three swirls of magic were surrounding open spaces.
"You see, you see? It's-a magic!" said Gus.
"What's with the magic?" asked Grumpy.
"It's makin' me ah-ah-AH!" Sneezy began when Dopey and Doc held his nose to stop him from sneezing up a storm.
"You'll see!" Cinderella smiled.
At that moment, one magic swirl revealed a three-story cottage similar to the two-story one from Dwarf Woodlands.
Another one formed a cottage similar to Aurora's in the forest where the good fairies raised her in.
And the last one was a small blue and white hovel.
"There you go! Your temporary homes in the Secret Forest!" said Cinderella.
"Wow… look at them!" Phillip said in awe.
"They look like they were made for us!" said Doc.
"How did the magic know?" asked Florian.
"They don't call it the Secret Forest for a reason." giggled Cinderella.
"Zugk-zugk! You'll-a like it here!" said Jaq.
"You know… I think we will." smiled Alice.
And her friends, both old and new, had to agree.
Twilight Town, Clocktower:
Hayner, Pence, and Olette relaxed on top of the clocktower. They had dismissed the rest of their armor after arriving and were now looking at the twilight sky.
"Man… what a day." Hayner said, breathing in and out.
"I know. Saved four worlds, expanded the army, fought three members of Organization XIII, and then an evil fairy." said Pence.
"We really went above and beyond today, guys." said Olette. "We did get to do more than just train. We saved the day."
"We really are heroes after all." smiled Pence. "Boy, Roxas, Sora, and the others are gonna love hearing about this when they get back."
"And after all of that… I'm more than happy to relax, hang around, maybe do some more training, just about anything." said Hayner, leaning back. "Today's events were enough for me to last a long while…"
"Agreed." Pence and Olette said in unison.
"And you know what?" Hayner asked, sitting back up. "After all that's happened today… I can honestly say that I could never ask for better best friends than the both of you."
Pence and Olette smiled in appreciation. "Thanks, Hayner. Really man, that means a lot." said Pence. "We're happy to be your best friend too."
Olette placed her hand on Hayner's back. "And you were a great leader today." she said proudly. "First mission without our friends that usually do this, and you did it well. I'm so proud of you."
Olette then placed a small kiss on Hayner's cheek. Hayner froze as his cheeks turned red. Pence smile cheekily at the sight.
Olette pulled away as Hayner tried to compose himself. "Wow… uh…. Uh-t-thanks, Olette…" he stammered, a blushing mess.
Olette giggled. "You're welcome."
Hayner managed to shake off the awkwardness as he joined his friends in looking at the sky above their hometown.
Pence then noticed that Hayner's hand ended up on top of Olette's. Olette didn't even notice or pull away. Pence smiled, shaking his head.
'One day they'll get together…' he thought. 'One day…'
Castle That Never Was:
Maleficent woke up on a medic bed. She was back in her wicked fairy form.
"Where am I!?" she demanded.
Hades walked up to her. "Easy, sweet cheeks." he said. "After getting your dragon butt beaten by a ragtag gang of heroes, you flew back and crash-landed on our front porch. The others just cured you."
"About time…" Maleficent muttered, climbing off the bed.
"Oh, and uh, before it slips my mind, Xehanort wanted to talk to ya." Hades said.
"Of course he did." Maleficent groaned.
Maleficent grabbed her staff and walked out of the medical ward. She then teleported away.
Throne Room:
Master Xehanort, Xigbar, Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene, Vanitas, Terra-Xehanort, Dark Riku, and Sephiroth sat on their respective thrones as Maleficent teleported in and sat on Roxas' old throne.
"Ah, Maleficent." Xehanort smiled. "I see you've recovered well after your fight."
"Yeah, getting your dragon butt kicked by three mediocre Keyblade Masters, a swordsman, three princesses, two princes, and a bunch of little men." Larxene huffed.
"You're one to talk." Xigbar huffed. "You got hit by a bus in the Ghostbusters' version of New York City."
"Shut it!" Larxene hissed.
"We're glad you're still kicking well." Marluxia said to the evil fairy.
"Indeed." Maleficent mused. "And I see the rest of you have recovered as well." She said to the Organization members that fought the Twilight Town trio.
"It took a while, but I recovered perfectly." said Terra-Xehanort.
"Same with me!" said Dark Riku. "I'm not going down so easily until I'm the last Riku standing!"
"I am not so easily defeated." Sephiroth said. "It would take a lot more of a fight than that to kill me."
"Still, it amazes me that three minor Keybearers managed to succeed." hummed Luxord.
"Because we made the mistake to underestimate them." scowled Maleficent. "Hayner… Pence… Olette… those cretins proved themselves to be a lot stronger than we imagined."
"Even without all their friends by their side, they still proved themselves to be powerful, if not irritating, Keyblade Wielders." said Terra-Xehanort.
"Guess we've underestimated the heroes again." said Vanitas.
"Well, that Hayner kid did try to kick you in the head when you and Dark Riku tried to kill Axel and Demyx." said Larxene.
"And yet he failed." Dark Riku snorted.
Xehanort clasped his hands. "Regardless of what happened today, Maleficent is correct." he said. "These three Keybearers, Hayner, Pence, and Olette, have proven themselves to be powerful threats, close to the same level as Sora, Ventus, Kairi, Aqua, Riku, Terra, King Mickey, and many other members of their team. They are not to be underestimated anymore and treated as equal threats to us all."
"We can still take them down." said Marluxia. "After all, we've been getting more powerful ourselves. We have been at this longer than they have."
"The cards will still be in our favor regardless." nodded Luxord.
"Having to worry about those three? As if!" Xigbar scoffed.
"In the end, once we are finished with all of them, we won't have to." said Maleficent.
"Indeed." Xehanort nodded. "We will have nothing to fear. All we need to do is dispose of three extra Keyblade Masters when the time is right. The protection provided for them by others and themselves, individually or together, won't last for long. But for now, we will await further updates from my Heartless, Nobody, and younger self's mission in the Pride Lands. Once the pieces are in place, we will begin the final preparation sequence for our attack on the Pride Lands. Dismissed."
With that, the true Organization members and Maleficent each teleported away.
However, Xigbar was the only one who remained. He partially unzipped his cloak… and pulled out a hidden microphone.
"Did ya get all that, Director?" he asked.
F.O.W.L. Headquarters:
Bradford, Bentley, and Buford Buzzard sat beside a listening device Xigbar's microphone was connected to.
Sitting around them were Gandra Dee, Phantom Blot, Taurus Bulba, Frankenjeeves holding a cryogenically frozen John D. Rockerduck, Black Heron, and Steelbeak, the latter two having managed to sneak out of the World That Never Was and discreetly return to Duckburg to get to F.O.W.L. headquarters.
"Got everything, Xigbar." said Bradford. "Destroy the mic and report back to us discreetly when you can."
Bradford turned off the device and spun around in his chair. "Alright, our list of potentially dangerous enemies in the Keyblade wielding category just went up by three members." he said. "Gandra?"
"Right away, Director." Gandra said, moving her chair to the headquarters' main computer.
She opened up the enemy files and went to one marked HIGH-LEVEL THREATS.
And Gandra placed in the files of Hayner, Pence, and Olette into them. Now they really were on F.O.W.L.'s radar.

Mid-Credits Scene, 1 day later:
Down in Disney Town, the Twilight Trio were hanging by the Fruitball Court.
"Boy, after a whole day of world-traveling, villain ass-kicking, and army recruiting, I'd say we earned this day of hanging out." said Hayner.
"I wholeheartedly agree with you." said Olette. "So, which one of you boys is brave enough to take me on in a game of Fruitball?" she smirked.
"Oh ho ho, you are on!" Hayner grinned. "My time in Struggle Bat gives me a guaranteed win!"
"You guys play, I'll get the ice cream." said Pence. "I'm thinking I'll have a Bueno Volcano."
"Ooh, save me a Vanilla Glitz!" Hayner said.
"And save me some Daisy Sorbet!" Olette added.
"Right." Pence nodded. "I just need to write that down in my note-"
Suddenly, the trio disappeared in flashes of light.
Gale Farm, Topeka, Kansas:
The flash disappeared and Hayner found himself in the country near an old farm. And the wind was buffeting against him and howling across the land.
"What the hell?!" Hayner shouted as he tried to keep himself from being blown over. "How did I end up on a farm?!"
Then, he heard some voices shout in the distance. He looked and saw a farmer and his farmhand evacuating some farm animals.
"Hurry up! Get them horses loose! Where's Hickory? Hickory! Hickory! Doggone it! Hickory!" Henry Gale shouted.
"It's a twister! It's a twister!" Zeke cried as some horses ran free from the barn.
Hayner looked around and paled as he saw a long, dark tornado near the farm house. It was plowing across the frields, winds howling like mad and blowing debris everywhere.
"Oh no, it's a twister!" Hayner cried. "I've gotta find shelter!"
Hayner didn't see a ditch and knew outrunning a twister was a very bad idea. Even his glider wouldn't be able to outrun a natural disaster this terrifying.
Hayner ran to the farm house, though it was hard with the wind surging against him. He could barely see.
After what felt like an eternity, Hayner managed to get to the yard just as the farmer couple and their farmhands went into the cellar.
Hayner pounded his hands on the cellar.
"Hey! Open up! Let me in!" he yelled. "The tornado's getting closer!"
But the loud winds blocked his voice. Hayner looked to the barn and ran inside… just missing a young girl and her dog going inside the house.
Hayner struggled to shut the door and looked around the barn to hide under something.
"Why didn't you take shelter inside the house, Hayner?!" he scolded himself. "Because you're scared out of your mind, asshole!"
Seeing nothing but hay, Hayner made a decision.
"I'll just have to make a beeline for the house!" he said, putting a fist into his hand.
Hayner managed to get the door open and tried to run for the house… only to watch in horror as the twister suddenly picked it up off the ground.
"OH GOD!" Hayner shouted.
Hayner tried to run, but the winds picked him up off the ground!
Hayner screamed in terror as he was sucked into the twister. But before anything else bad could happen to him, he disappeared in a flash of light.
Hill Valley High, 1955:
When the flash ended, Pence found himself at a high school dance. He was standing near the phone booth.
"What the heck?! How did I get here?!" Pence asked in shock.
He then heard music playing. Pence walked out into the gymnasium and saw Marty McFly performing with Marvin Berry and the Starlighters, finishing up Earth Angel. He had recognized Marty from pictures Sora showed him and the others. He then spotted Sora, Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy watching as everyone danced.
"Huh? Marty McFly?" Pence said in confusion. "Am I… am I in Hill Valley?!"
Marty then came up to the mic. "Alright, uh, this is an oldie… well uh… it's an oldie from where we come from." he told the crowd, gesturing to the travelers, who had joined him on stage. He turned to the band. "Alright guys, it's a blues riff in B, watch me for the changes, and uh, try to keep up." he told the band and began to play.

Marty: Way down in Louisiana down in New Orleans,
Way back up in the woods among the evergreens,
There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood,
Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode.
Who never ever learned to read or write so well,

Pence watched as the crowd began to dance to the song. He found himself beginning to dance to the tune as well.
"I dunno how I got here, but I can't say no to a party!" Pence grinned.
And he began to dance along to Johnny B. Goode. And thankfully since everyone was having so much fun, the six worldly-travelers didn't notice him.
Marty did Chuck Berry's famous duck walk, and other famous band moves that he didn't realize everyone stopped dancing and were watching him. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy cringed in slight embarrassment, with looks that said, "Too much."
Pence cringed as well. "Oh, I wish I could disappear from this awkward scene." he mumbled.
Pence suddenly disappeared in a flash of light as Marty could be heard saying, "I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet. But your kids are gonna love it."
Japunda Mexico, 800 years ago:
Olette found herself in an old village.
"What the heck?!" she gasped, seeing now she was in an unfamiliar location. "Where am I? What is this place?!"
"You're in the town of Japunda, traveler!" said a village woman.
"In the great land of Mexico." said another female villager. "Just in time for the Festival of Fire!"
"Festival of Fire? Mexico?!" Olette gasped. "H-How did I get here?!"
Before anyone could question Olette's words, there was suddenly a bright flash of light behind them.
"What was that?!" Olette cried as she spun around to see what looked like a young Mexican girl donning a colorful mask fly against the starry sky.
"I, Punguari, demigoddess of the moon, summon the power of the mask!" Punguari, Demigoddess of the Moon chanted in P'urhépecha. The mask parted to reveal her face, which went from serious to excited. "Oh, man, this is so awesome!"
"What the hell is going on?! Who is that?!" Olette asked in surprise.
"Mask of Many Faces, I beseech you! Give me your magic, make me a god!" Punguari called in P'urhépecha.
Storm clouds rolled in as a bolt of lightning struck her from the heavens, transforming her into a massive, full-fledged god.
"Whoa, oh shit, she's tall now!" Olette yelped, falling back on her bottom in alarm.
Punguari's parents, Sisiki and Chirpri, flew up to her.
"Punguari, no! You're too young!" Sisiki shouted.
"I'm growing up Mother, whether you like it or not!" Punguari retorted.
Sisiki donned a mask. "You're not ready for this power!" She yelled, growing to Punguari's current god size. "Now hand me that mask!"
Punguari was annoyed at her mother's nagging. "Stop telling me what to do!" she yelled, stomping on the ground, forming cracks in the earth.
"I think she just broke the Earth…" Olette paled as Punguari blasted Sisiki with a bolt of lightning before her.
Sisiki's mask faded away as she landed on the ground.
Punguari then blasted Sisiki's half of her parents' temple with lightning.
Olette and the Japunda villagers began to panic.
"Okay, I think we need to run!" Olette screamed.
They began to run to hide. Then, something caught Olette's eye.
Light was coming out from the cracks in the earth.
"She's losing control!" shouted Sisiki.
"Stop her. I'll buy you some time!" Chipriri told her.
The muscled god enlarged his arms with fire and began to pull the cracks back. Sisiki looked back to see Punguari laughing maliciously.
"My daughter, please..." she begged.
But Punguari was still laughing… unaware of a monstrous figure rising behind her, a menacing expressing on it's horrendous face.
Olette felt her heart stop when she saw the creature behind Punguari. "BEHIND YOU!" she screamed.
Sisiski saw this and quickly extended her fights at Punguari.
Olette began to run just as there was not one, but two bright flashes. One between the gods, and another that made her disappear.
Fruitball Court, Disney Town:
Bright flashes brought Hayner, Pence, and Olette back to the Fruitball Court. They were dazed and confused.
"What… the heck… just happened…?" Pence slowly asked.
"Did you guys… end up in a random location?" Olette managed to ask.
"Y-Y-Yeah…" Hayner said, fixing his clothes. "One moment I was with you guys, and then there was a flash of light, like if lightning struck the ground, and then I'm somewhere else!"
"Where did you guys go?!" Pence asked, suddenly eager to hear his friends' stories. "I ended up in Hill Valley! But I think it was 1955."
"How could you tell?" asked Olette.
"Because it was during the Enchantment Under the Sea dance at Marty's high school… back when his parents were his age." said Pence. "Plus, Sora and the others were there dancing with Marvin Berry and the Starlighters. What about you?"
"I ended up in Mexico in some town called… Japunda." Olette said. "But then there was this fight between this god family or something that caused the earth to crack. And then some monster appeared behind them before I disappeared. It… It was pretty terrifying…"
"You think that was terrifying?!" Hayner exclaimed. "I ended up on some farm in Kansas or Oklahoma, in the middle of a freaking twister! I tried to find shelter, but there was no ditch and the cellar at some family farm was locked! I had to make a beeline for the barn!"
Pence and Olette were shocked.
"A twister!? Yikes!" gasped Pence.
"Wait, did the farm have a house?" Olette asked. "All farms usually do, like Grandma Duck's."
"Yeah, but I was too scared to think straight!" Hayner said defensively. "I mean, we don't get that kind of weather in Twilight Town! And no tornadoes have come through town ever since we started staying here! And by the time I even thought about legging it to the house, the cyclone freakin' yanked me up into the air before I ended up back here in a flash of light!"
"Geez man, you almost got sucked up into the storm completely!" exclaimed Pence.
"I know! What the hell happened that made us end up in Mexico, Hill Valley, and some farmland in what I'm guessing is in Tornado Alley?!" Hayner asked.
"I don't know what happened." said Olette. "But maybe we can take our minds off of it for a good long while."
"And I know the perfect remedy!" said Pence. "Ice cream!"
Hayner was silent for a moment before agreeing. "Yeah. Yeah, ice cream sounds good. Some good frozen dairy products are just what I need right now after that freaky storm…"
Without another word, the Twilight Town trio made their way to get their well-earned and much needed ice cream.

Post-Credits scene, 2 days later:
Cid was in Merlin's house on his computer.
"I'm going… all in!" he said.
He was playing online poker as he unfolded his Royal Flush deck. Other players folded.
"Hell yeah!" Cid grinned. "13th time's a charm!"
Suddenly, he heard a whirring sound.
"Huh?"
Cid ran outside and to his shock, saw his newly-repaired Gummiship in the sky.
"What the— that's my Gummiship!" he yelled. "Who's piloting it?!"
In the cockpit… was a sentient Otto the Autopilot. He waved at Cid before taking off.
"HEY! YOU DAMN, INFLATED TRAITOR! GET BACK HERE!" Cid yelled, running after the ship, pulling out his Gummiphone and calling a number on speed dial. "MERLIN! LEON! TIFA! ALL OF YOU! OTTO'S GONE ROGUE WITH MY GUMMISHIP!"
And Cid ran off into the distance.
Finally done with this story! After over a little over a year, it's finally complete!
I had been thinking that Hayner, Pence, and Olette deserved some time to shine. They were good characters introduced in Kingdom Hearts II and got more of an expansion in Kingdom Hearts III. Let's hope future games that go on after III's events allow them more chances to shine.
