"Wait, you two knew each other?" asked Emma.
"A long time ago, in Minnesota." replied Lily.
"Well any friend of Lily is a friend of mine." smiled Maleficent.
"Well, we weren't friends..." started Piper.
"Yeah, we just... met..." said Lily.
"Well what happened?" asked David.
"Yeah, I want to know." said Jason.
"It's a really long story," said Piper. "I was an... obnoxious kid and I messed up."
"No, don't say that. You were just curious, I forgive you." replied Lily.
"Really?" asked Piper.
"Yeah, really? You never really were the forgiving kind of person." said Emma.
"Well, she just... it's okay." said Lily.
"That means a lot, Lily. Thank you." smiled Piper.
"Well, if the chit chat is over, I'm hoping that we can continue the spell to find Thalia." said Regina.
"I thought we were safe in this dome." said Percy.
"We are safer, we all know that the Dark One is skillful in finding loopholes." said Dr Facilier.
"So the quicker we manage to do the spell, the better." said Mother Superior.
They all gazed at the large mirror and the marking on the floor looked very familiar to Emma.
"Is this the Mark of Charon?" asked Emma.
"Yes, it is." said Sydney.
"The Mark of death is going to make us communicate with my sister?" asked Jason.
"Yes, it will."
"Charon here is a powerful being, he holds the ability to connect over the world of the living and dead, but his powers can also connect into other worlds." said Dr Facilier.
"So how are we meant to do the spell?" asked Annabeth.
"Yeah, Charon may not be a God but he is a deity and they all want sacrifices." said Will.
"Which is why we need to make a sacrifice to Charon." said Killian.
"And what is that going to be?" asked Leo.
"Yeah, most of the time this never ends well." said Frank.
"Not most, all!" said Hazel.
"Luckily, this is not too big of a price." smiled Mother Superior.
"I know that look, that is never good, what is the price?" asked Mary Margaret.
"But I speak the truth, Charon hardly wants anything from us... just water."
"What kind of water?" asked Leroy.
"Water from the Well of Wonders, which I just so happen to have with me from the Enchanted Forest."
"But what about magic's price?" asked Zelena.
"What's that?" asked Nico.
"Just like humans give people thing and want something in return, so does magic."
"But what could it want?"
"And that is the part I was worried about," said Mother Superior. "Travelling across worlds is one of the hardest magic in every realm, there is a huge price for this spell."
"And what is it?" asked Piper.
"To use mirror magic to cross worlds, we need to first find a way to choose the location out of the hundreds of universes beyond our understanding." said Sydney.
"Someone is going to be needing to get into the Mirror World?" asked Henry.
"Yes, and that person will be me."
"What?" asked Hazel. "But what about your family?"
"This is the best way to find my family, the best place to start looking and to help you as well."
"So you're back to where you started, the mirror." said Mary Margaret.
"No, this time I know what I'm going to do."
"But Sydney, you do realise that once you get into the Mirror World, it may be impossible for you to be set free." said Regina.
"Then that's a problem which I will figure out, this is my first priority."
"Wow, I can't believe you're doing this." said Emma.
"Me neither." smiled Sydney.
He stood in front of the mirror and turned to face Regina. She aimed her hands, one at Sydney and one at the mirror, and then purple magic left her hands and hit the two things. Purple smoke surrounded Sydney and it took him into the mirror.
"Is he okay?" asked Jason.
Suddenly, a large blue face appeared on the mirror, "Yes, I am."
Regina saw how startled the demigods were to see him but everyone else was okay, they were used to seeing way more bizarre things.
"Now the next part." said Mother Superior.
"There be more?" asked Killian.
"Indeed. Now, we need eight who have magic, stand on these circle and aim their magic at the mirror but everyone else needs to go into the farm house else the magic will obliterate them and turn into ash."
"Woah." said Emma.
"That went dark quickly." said Rachel.
"Oh, and no demigods allowed." said Mother Superior.
"Why not?" asked Percy.
"You are from a different world with different magic and we are using some of the most powerful magic from our world, we have no idea whether you can withstand such forces at work and you have the chances of being turned into ash as everyone else."
"Okay." said everyone.
"But Jason has to be here." said Mother Superior.
"I thought that we might be obliterated?" asked Piper.
"But in order to connect to Thalia, we need to use blood magic in order for Sydney to locate her and-"
"I'm the only one." said Jason. "Okay."
"But you heard what she said, you could die!" shouted Piper.
"And so be it, the townspeople of Storybrooke have made so much sacrifice for us, it's time we return the favour."
"But-"
"No 'buts', I have to do this, we don't have any other option."
Tears went down Piper's cheeks and she ran into the farmhouse.
"I'll comfort her-" started Lily.
"No." said Emma.
"But she's clearly upset-"
"And I can see that but we have bigger needs, it's a race between us to get Excalibur and Gold finding a way inside and so far, we are having a losing chance. Once we get in contact with Thalia and find out where the Vault of Love is, we can help Piper."
"Huh... I hate it when you're right."
All of the demigods and non-magic people went inside until it was only: Jason, Regina, Zelena, Astrid, Emma, Maleficent, Lily, Mother Superior and Dr Facilier left.
"So we're really doing this?" asked Astrid.
"It seems we are." said Mother Superior.
"It would feel good having Gold under control, that way we can finally get some work done." said Regina.
"So what am I supposed to do?" asked Jason.
"First, we need your blood." said Maleficent and she teleported a spinning wheel with a pointy needle on it.
"Is the spinning wheel necessary?" asked Jason.
"No, but it's just fun!"
Jason pricked his finger on the spinning wheel and a drop of blood oozed from his finger.
"Stand in front of the mirror and we'll get sorted." said Zelena.
He did as Zelena instructed and he stood in front of the mirror. Everyone else stood in their places and then they aimed their hands at the mirror and different colours of magic came from their hands. Purple for Dr Facilier and Regina, blue for Mother Superior, white for Emma, green for Zelena and Maleficent, pink for Astrid, and a very dark purple for Lily. The magic created a large blast of blinding magic and when they could see again, they saw two girls in the mirror.
"What's going on?" asked one girl.
"Thalia!" smiled Jason.
"Jason! What's happening?"
"It's really tough to explain and we really don't have enough time to say it." said Regina, leaving her spot.
"The magic will only last for a couple minutes." said Dr Facilier.
"Well what is this?" asked the other girl. "Why are you in a... mirror?"
"Hello, Reyna," said Jason. "Long story short, we were given a quest and now we are in a town in Maine called Storybrooke where every storybook characters are alive."
"Jason, are you feeling alright?" asked Thalia.
"Yeah, I'm worried." said Reyna.
"Well what he's saying is the truth so you have to believe us." said Emma, seriously.
"We only-" started Thalia.
"Only just met, but understand this. There is a villain on our hands that can put an end to both of our worlds and we don't want that to happen. We need you to find something known as the Vault of Love."
"I-I remember Artemis mentioning something about that... umm..."
"Try to think," said Maleficent. "This is really important."
"I-I'm really sorry..."
"I know." said Reyna.
"You do?" asked Jason.
"That's great!" said Lily.
"When I joined the Huntresses, Diana/Artemis told me information about portals leading to the Vault, I had no idea what she meant then but I have a feeling this is what she was talking about." said Reyna.
"Well, where is the portal?" asked Dr Facilier.
"It is not a place, it's a feeling. 'Where True Love is undecided by the Fates, you must drink the water from the Well of Wonders and thou' shall guide thee' to the Vault of Venus' is what she said."
Suddenly, the mirror chattered into hundreds of pieces and the connection was lost...
"Well that was of no use! Just another riddle!" growled Zelena.
"I know the answer, Regina and Dr Facilier must drink this water and kiss." said Astrid, handing the two of them one cup filled with water.
"Wait, how do you know?" asked Regina.
"Just do as I say!" shouted Astrid. "That spell broke down the border, the Dark One will be here any second!"
Dr Facilier and Regina drank the water from the cup together and they kissed each other and a heavenly feeling went through their bodies and they were in a whole new world...
