Summary: After forming an alliance with Cristallum leader Erin, the Lotus Ninjas infiltrate the Triceraton Homeworld and rescue Donna and Ekron from Prime Leader Zanramon.
The Lotus Ninjas shifted from the corner and raced down the corridors.
"We're almost there." Lee said. "We're getting close. I'm also sensing…Donnie's aura?"
"Donnie?" Ellie repeated in surprise. "They got him too?"
"It definitely has something to do with the Fugitoid those triceratop freaks won't shut up about." Ella added.
"Maybe." Lee said. "We'll see when we get there."
In the Triceraton throne room, Donnie knelt on the red carpet at the foot of the throne's stairs. His wrists were bound by the glowing light. Mozar approached and grabbed his wrists to yank him up forcefully off the ground.
"Listen, you pea-brained gecko! How many times do I have to tell you? The Fugitoid is not. On. Earth!" Donnie retorted.
"Our brains may be small, terrapin scum, but our tracking equipment does not lie." Mozar said. He dragged Donnie up the stairs to face Zanramon, who sat on his throne. He pointed his finger at the large screen behind Zanramon. "The Fugitoid's teleportation trail leads directly to your planet."
"He was on Earth, but he's not there anymore." Donnie said.
"Then where is he?" Zanramon asked.
"I-I can't tell you that!" Donnie responded.
"Can't or won't?" Zanramon challenged.
Donnie simply turned away from Zanramon.
"Very well." Zanramon said. "We pea-brained geckos will just have to extract the information from your oversized terrapin brain."
Mozar fitted a helmet-like device onto Donnie's head. As the device powered up, a crackling sound filled the air and Donnie struggled with a painful groan before collapsing to his knees.
"Struggle all you want, fool!" Zanramon said. "There is no resisting the Triceraton Mind Probe!"
A rapid replay of Donnie's memories flashed on the large monitor screen.
"And as for your friend and the Oculo, we've got big plans for them." Zanramon continued. "Once my scientists research their unique abilities, they'll be mine to command, serving the Triceratons as I see fit."
In the lab, Donna found it hard to use her earth magic while being tightly bound to a strange metallic table. She glanced to her right and noticed Ekron, who was also strapped to a table halfway across from where she's strapped in.
Two Triceraton scientists approached Donna and Ekron, which immediately caught their attention.
"It's rare to find an Oculo on this planet of all places." One of the Triceraton scientists remarked. "And this human possesses a special power that could greatly benefit the empire. First, we need to cut its link to its host, and then we can use the Mind Master on them."
"Severing connection?" Donna repeated in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
"That creature, an Oculo, is one of the most powerful alien species throughout the universe. They may look like floating eyeballs, but they possess a range of powerful abilities." The other Triceraton scientist explained as he pointed his finger at the astonished Ekron. "Oculos can form a symbiotic bond with a chosen host, following their mental commands. But once we cut the connection between the Oculo and its host, it will fall under the Triceraton's control and so will you."
Donna's eyes widened in sudden realization.
"Uh no." Donna whispered to herself. "Ellie is Ekron's host."
As one Triceraton scientist pressed a button on a remote, a swarm of electrodes began to close in on Ekron, causing him to screech in agony as he fought against them.
"Ekron!" Donna yelled. "Leave him alone!"
The other Triceraton scientist fitted a headband-like device on Donna. The headband device then activated as Donna writhed in pain.
Meanwhile, the Lotus Ninjas raced through the hallways. Ellie suddenly froze with her eyes wide in shock as a vision of a screeching Ekron flashed in her mind. The sound of Ekron's screeching was so intense that it caused her to scream in agony as she clutched her head and collapsed to her knees.
Lee and Ella immediately halted and turned around. With concerned faces, they rushed to their youngest sister.
"Ellie, what's wrong?" Ella asked in worry.
"It's…Ekron! He's in trouble!" Ellie cried through clenched teeth. "They're hurting him! Whatever they're doing to him is hurting my brain!"
"Hang on, Ellie. We'll save him." Lee reassured. "Ella, carry her. We'll free Ekron and Donna first. Then, we'll free Donnie."
Ella nodded. She quickly scooped Ellie into her arms before standing back up.
Back in the throne room, Donnie yelled and fought against the Triceraton mind probe as more of his memories flickered quickly on the large screen.
"Master Splinter!" Donnie shouted.
Suddenly, the mind probe helmet malfunctioned and the screen showed a static image of Fugitoid.
"Impossible! No one has ever resisted a mind probe!" Mozar exclaimed in shock as he removed the helmet from Donnie's head.
"Clearly the Earth creature has something to hide. But we have other methods of making him talk." Zanramon said.
"I'll never tell you anything!" Donnie retorted defiantly.
Zanramon crouched down in front of Donnie.
"Not even to save your miserable brothers?" Zanramon asked.
Donnie gasped in disbelief.
"Oh yes, we know they are in the same city where we apprehended you." Zanramon said.
An image of New York City appeared on the screen behind Zanramon.
Zanramon's face appeared on the monitor screen with Donnie beside him in the United Nations building once again.
"Attention people of Earth!" Zanramon spoke. "Since you persist in your defiance by not giving up the Fugitoid, we will continue to remove your cities from the planet and take them apart bit by bit until we find him."
Agent Christine glared sharply from behind her sunglasses.
"Starting with this densely populated island metropolis." Zanramon added.
A Triceraton Mothership unleashed its pink lasers over New York, carving a circular path through the ground and obliterating buildings and roads simultaneously. Panicked citizens took off through the streets in all directions. As the pink lasers slashed across the river, they targeted the Brooklyn Bridge and sliced the bridge in half.
Donnie, Zanramon, and Mozar observed the scene on the viewing screen.
"Your brothers are down there. Tell me where the Fugitoid is and I won't have them hunted down and destroyed!" Zanramon demanded as he glared at Donnie.
Back in the United Nations building, Christine watched the pink lasers from a different room. She pulled out her phone and made a call.
"Listen, my agents are still looking. But this mission is gonna be very tough thanks to the Triceratons tearing through the city of New York." Christine explained. She listened for a moment. "Got it. Just keep in mind, we had an agreement, and I expect you to stick to it."
Back on the Triceraton Homeworld, Ekron continued screeching in agony as he fought against the electrodes while Donna struggled against the Mind Master's control. The Triceraton scientists observed Ekron and Donna for analysis. But Ekron's loud screeching prevented them from hearing the door sliding open behind them.
"Look, there's Ekron and Donna!" Ella whispered urgently.
"That's good news." Lee said. "The bad news is they're torturing them. Attack on my signal."
"Uh, Lee." Ella spoke.
Lee turned around and her eyes widened in shock. When she and Ella looked up, they watched Ellie floating above them with glowing orange eyes and a pure rage on her face.
"What the?!" Lee exclaimed.
"Leave. Ekron. And. Donna. Alone!" Ellie shouted fiercely.
With a powerful thrust of her arms, Ellie unleashed a powerful blast of wind that slammed the Triceraton scientists against the wall at full force. Then, she hovered above the screeching Ekron and destroyed the electrodes with another wind blast before freeing Donna from the Mind Master's grip with a final wind blast.
"Remind me not to get on her bad side." Ella whispered to Lee.
"Definitely." Lee agreed.
Ellie's fiery orange eyes faded back to their usual color. She placed a hand on her forehead with a weary groan as she slowly descended to the floor and collapsed with deep breaths. She shook her head and regained her composure.
"Whoa." Ellie said. "Wh-what happened?"
"You went power crazy, that's what happened." Donna replied with a surprised face. "But hey, thanks for the save."
"I did?" Ellie asked. She glanced at the unconscious Triceraton scientists lying on the ground. "Oh, I guess I did."
Lee and Ella hurried over to free Donna from the strapping table.
Ellie managed to stand just in time to see Ekron slowly crawling on the table.
"Oh, Ekron." Ellie said with sorrowful eyes. She approached and carried Ekron in her arms before wrapping him in a warm hug. "I've got you. You'll be alright."
"Girls, you're not gonna believe this." Donna said. "Remember when we first found Ekron and rescued him from Sienna and Mira after Lee detected his energy at the museum? It turned out Ekron is actually an alien, or as the Triceratons call him, an Oculo."
"Say what?!" Lee and Ella exclaimed as they exchanged astonished glances.
"Is it true, Ekron? You really are an alien?" Ellie asked, looking down at Ekron.
Ekron slowly nodded.
"Oh wow. That's so cool." Ellie said. She squeezed Ekron gently with a happy smile. "You are full of surprises, Ekron."
In response, Ekron created two yellow energized tentacles and embraced Ellie back.
"I hate to break this touching moment, but we need to go help Donnie." Donna said urgently. "Those Triceratons are trying to probe his brain as we speak."
"That's not good. Let's move." Lee said.
Back on Earth, the pink lasers continued to slice through New York City. The Triceraton Mothership suddenly ceased firing and released a cylindrical object that fell to the ground. As it landed and dug its claws into the ground, an energy beam was shot out that enveloped the city in a massive force shield. Then, a section of New York City began to rise up from the ground.
Back in the Triceraton Mothership, Donnie watched his home city being lifted on the monitor screen.
"Wait! Stop!" Donnie protested. "I'm telling you, the Fugitoid is not on Earth!"
"And why should we believe you?" Zanramon retorted as he pointed an accusing finger at Donnie.
"Can't you just scan for his positronic energy signature or something?" Donnie suggested.
Donnie's suggestion made Zanramon and Mozar burst into laughter.
"What kind of fools do you take us for?" Zanramon asked. "Positronic energy signatures are as common as space dust."
"Not on Earth. Our technology isn't advanced enough." Donnie countered.
"What? Why was I not informed of this?" Zanramon asked in surprise as he turned to Mozar.
"Well, naturally, we just assumed..." Mozar replied nervously.
"We Triceratons assume nothing except victory!" Zanramon interrupted irritatedly. "Initiate positronic energy scan now!"
"Yes, Prime Leader." Mozar said with a salute.
Mozar approached the control panel and began scanning the Earth as Zanramon and Donnie watched the progress on the monitor screen.
"This had better not be one of your terrapin tricks. A way to stall for time, perhaps, while your brothers commit some act of sabotage." Zanramon warned Donnie.
"My brothers? Are you kidding? They wouldn't be caught dead in this place." Donnie replied with a smile.
"Prime Leader!"
Donnie and Zanramon turned to see a Triceraton guard entering from the opening door.
"Excuse the interruption. But these spies were caught attempting to take over a security post." A Triceraton guard announced.
The Triceraton guard pushed Leo, Mikey, and Raph into the chamber room. Leo, Mikey, and Raph all have their wrists bound with glowing lights.
"Wouldn't be caught dead in this place, eh?" Zanramon taunted. "Well, they have been caught!"
Zanramon and Donnie walked towards Leo, Mikey, and Raph.
"And now they will be exterminated." Zanramon said as he aimed his blaster at the Turtles. "You four will now answer for all the crimes you have committed against the Triceraton Republic! And don't think I've forgotten about my space cruiser."
"Excuse me, Prime Leader. But would it not be best to prolong their agony in your private torture chamber?" The Triceraton guard suggested with a salute.
"Ah, excellent suggestion, guard." Zanramon replied approvingly as he lowered his blaster. "Make it so."
"Yes, sir!" The Triceraton guard answered.
Zanramon laughed as the Triceraton guard grabbed Donnie by the arm and dragged the Turtles away out of the throne room.
The Triceraton guard and the Turtles strolled down the corridor.
"Well, guys, if this is your idea of a rescue, it's pretty lame." Donnie scolded.
Suddenly, the Turtles and the Triceraton guard halted. The Triceraton guard scanned the area for other Triceraton guards and then activated a remote in his hand, releasing the glowing wristlets from the Turtles' wrists.
"Huh?" Donnie asked in puzzlement.
"You were saying?" Leo asked smugly.
Donnie turned to the Triceraton guard, who took off his helmet and revealed his identity.
"Monza Ram!" Donnie exclaimed. "Oookay. Open mouth, insert foot."
Then, the Lotus Ninjas and Ekron arrived and halted in front of the Turtles and Monza Ram.
"Donna." Donnie said with a smile.
"Donnie!" Donna beamed. She rushed over to hug Donnie. "I'm so glad you're okay."
Donnie's cheeks turned red.
"Wait a minute. How did you guys even get up here?" Ellie asked.
"Long story. But what about you girls?" Mikey asked. He glanced at the frail Ekron. "And what happened to Ekron?"
"Long story." Lee answered.
"We'll explain everything along the way." Leo said. "Right now, we need to get off this ship."
Monza Ram removed a panel from the air vent.
"Come. We must get you to an escape ship." Monza Ram urged.
Back in the throne room, Mozar continued scanning the Earth on the monitor screen.
"We've scanned half the planet, sir. Not one positronic energy signature." Mozar reported. He glanced at the furious Zanramon. "Maybe the terrapin was telling the truth."
"No! The Fugitoid must be here! He has to be here!" Zanramon urged as he slammed his fist on his throne.
Just then, the monitor screen displayed a naked Triceraton guard inside the security station.
"Sir, three terrapin creatures, an unknown alien, and one of our own attacked us and stole my uniform." A Triceraton guard reported.
"What?!" Zanramon exclaimed in surprise. "Seal off the base! Do not let those creatures escape!"
"All units, full alert! All units, full alert!" A voice blared through the loudspeaker. "We have alien intruders! Commence Tri-base lockdown immediately! I repeat, full alert!"
Monza Ram, the Turtles, and the Lotus Ninjas crawled stealthily through an open vent that led them to the loading dock. They concealed themselves behind the stacks of metal barrels and peeked over to see a large group of armed Triceraton guards.
Leo and Raph turned a metal barrel onto its side and quietly rolled it towards the Triceraton guards. Monza Ram shoved a rolling pallet stacked with metal barrels in the same direction before ducking back behind the other barrels with Leo and Raph. The pallet and metal barrel came to a stop, catching the Triceratons off guard.
Ella then ignited two fingers and carefully aimed as she shot small fireballs at the metal barrels, which exploded and sent the guards fleeing in panic. That allowed the Turtles and Ninjas to slip past the smoke.
Monza Ram picked up another metal barrel and hurled it into the air. He blasted it mid-flight to create a fiery distraction that sent the Triceratons scattering and leaving an unguarded ship alone.
As the flames spread, the Turtles and the Lotus Ninjas halted at an unguarded ship.
"Hey, this is the Prime Leader's ship. Didn't we steal this once before?" Mikey asked.
"And guess what? We're stealing it again." Leo said.
"Sorry, boys." Lee interjected. She pointed her thumb at the cloaking Cristallum spaceship that emerged from the burning smoke. "But we've got our own ride. See ya back on Earth."
The Turtles sprinted towards Zanramon's spaceship and jumped inside while the Lotus Ninjas quickly dashed into the cloaked Cristallum spaceship.
Monza Ram rolled off another pallet stacked with barrels and exploded more metal barrels with his blaster. He jumped onto the door of Zanramon's spaceship and glanced down at the Turtles.
"Good luck, my friends." Monza Ram said.
Monza Ram closed the hatch and looked up at the Cristallum spaceship that had just become visible in the air. He gave the Lotus Ninjas a thumb-up and took off.
In the Cristallum spaceship, Ellie was seated at the pilot controls while Ella, Donna, and Lee were seated in the back.
"Hang on." Ellie said.
"Wait a minute. Ellie's flying this ship?" Donna exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Apparently." Ella and Lee answered.
Ellie powered up the spaceship and blasted out of the docking station alongside the Turtles inside Zanramon's spaceship. The Triceraton guards looked up at the hovering ships and began firing pink lasers at them with their blasters.
Mikey and Raph retaliated with green lasers, sending the Triceraton guards crashing into the wall. As more Triceraton guards aimed their blasters, Ellie fired blue lasers and knocked the Triceraton guards back into the crates.
Then, Donnie and Ellie took over piloting the spaceships. When the outer hatch opened, both spaceships zoomed away from the Triceraton Homeworld and into outer space.
A Triceraton guard saluted on Zanramon's monitor screen.
"Prime Leader, the, uh, the terrapin creatures have stolen your private space cruiser... again." A Triceraton guard reported nervously. "Also, three humans managed to escape with the powered human and the Oculo."
"Whaaaat?!" Zanramon shouted as he smacked his forehead in frustration. "I just had it detailed!" He turned to Mozar. "Don't just stand there! Destroy those creatures and the humans! And tell engineering to start building me a new cruiser!"
Mozar saluted and ran off.
In the docking bay, the Triceraton guards hurried to their fighter ships
"All combat pilots to your Tri-Fighters immediately!" A Triceraton voice blared over the loudspeaker. "All pilots to Tri-Fighters immediately!"
A female Glibliax named Ia remained unnoticed behind a pile of crates. With a quick press of a button on her remote, she triggered a series of explosions that obliterated the Tri-Fighters.
"Prime Leader. The Tri-Fighters on this base have been sabotaged!" A Triceraton soldier reported to Zanramon.
Zanramon shouted furiously as he slammed his fist down and broke the arm section off his throne.
"Deploy the Tri-bases! I want those terrapin and human terrorists vaporized!" Zanramon commanded. "Do you hear me? Vaporized!"
Three Triceraton Tri-Bases launched from the Homeworld and chased after the stolen space cruiser. One of the Triceraton Tri-Bases fired a massive green energy sphere at the Turtles.
"Uh, girls? The boys got company!" Donna warned as she looked at the energy sphere through the glass shield.
"They're not the ones!" Ellie exclaimed.
Another large green energy sphere pulled up on the monitor screen as it headed toward the Lotus Ninjas' direction.
"Hold on tight, girls!" Ellie shouted.
Ellie pulled the spaceship up into a sharp turn, but the energy sphere maneuvered its turn and followed their path.
"Are you kidding me?!" Lee exclaimed in disbelief.
"Of course, the Triceraton made a smart weapon to take us out!" Donna said.
"It's right on our tail! Go faster, Ellie!" Ella shouted.
"What do you think I'm trying to do?!" Ellie retorted. "Unless one of you has a plan, now's the time because we've got two more incoming!"
As another Triceraton Tri-Base launched two more energy spheres, Ellie steered the spaceship and dodged the energy spheres before turning around towards Earth. But all three energy spheres were hot on their trail.
Zanramon observed the energy spheres approaching the Turtles and the Lotus Ninjas on the monitor screen.
Just then, Mozar walked up to Zanramon.
"Prime Leader, the planetary scan is complete. Negative on all positronic energy signatures." Mozar reported.
"The Fugitoid is not on Earth?" Zanramon questioned in disbelief. "Then this entire invasion has been a colossal waste of time and resources!"
"The High Council will not be pleased." Mozar noted.
"Dang the High Council!" Zanramon shouted as he slammed his fist on the armrest of his throne. "Besides, I can still save face with the destruction of those terrapin creatures and their human friends."
Three energy spheres kept pursuing the spaceship. One of the energy spheres was getting dangerously close to the spaceship.
"Does anyone have a plan?" Ellie asked frustratingly. "I can't shake these things!"
"They won't stop chasing us." Ella said.
"But we can turn this to our advantage." Lee suggested.
"All we need is a new target." Donna added.
As the three energy spheres closed in on the spaceship, Ellie accelerated through the planet's force shield with a burst of speed. The three energy spheres remained in pursuit as they trailed closely behind.
Ellie piloted the spaceship directly at the Triceraton Mothership that carried Beijing within the stratosphere.
"There, Ellie!" Lee said, pointing her finger toward the Triceraton Mothership.
"You got it!" Ellie nodded.
"Donna, get ready." Lee said to Donna.
"I'm on it." Donna nodded.
Ellie piloted the spaceship into the Triceraton Mothership's docking tunnel. All three energy spheres followed the spaceship inside, which caused them to crash into the walls in massive explosions.
The Cristallum spaceship raced out of the Triceraton Mothership and then soared above it. A chain reaction of explosions wrecked the Triceraton Mothership's systems, cutting off power and collapsing the force shield over Beijing. As the fighter jet's glass canopy opened, Donna stood up. With purple glowing hands, Donna enveloped the cut-out portion of Beijing with her magical energy and slowly descended the city back into place.
"Nice work, Donna!" Ellie cheered.
"Uh-huh." Donna replied slowly with a thumb-up.
Then, Donna collapsed backwards onto the spaceship.
Back in the Triceraton Homeworld, Zanramon was glued to the destruction of the Triceraton Mothership on the monitor screen. He stood up from his throne while shaking his fists in a mix of anger and frustration. With a furious yell, he yanked a control panel from its moorings and hurled it at the monitor screen that exploded and shattered into pieces.
"Why can't anything go right?" Zanramon yelled .
"Actually, sir, our planetary scan picked up another teleportation trail. One leading away from Earth. Apparently, the Fugitoid was on the planet briefly, then teleported off." Mozar explained.
"Then, perhaps our search has not been in vain." Zanramon said as he finally calmed down. "Quickly. Plot a course to follow that trail at once. Alert all ships. We're leaving this miserable backwater planet."
With that, all of the Triceraton Motherships flew back to the Homeworld.
From the Cristallum spaceship, the Lotus Ninjas watched the Triceraton Homeworld leaving through the glass.
"We did it. We saved the Earth from an alien invasion." Lee said with a wide smile.
"Thank goodness." Ella and Elie said with relieved faces.
Suddenly, Erin's face appeared on the monitor screen.
"We witnessed your bravery from our monitors and thank you for your help." Erin said. "With the Triceratons leaving Earth, their invasion is officially over. You can keep our ship as a reward. You deserve it. We'll see you soon, my friends."
Erin's image disappeared from the monitor screen.
"After everything, I'm just glad to have Ekron back." Ellie said as Ekron nuzzled her chest.
"After everything, I'm gonna take a nap. That whole setting Beijing down has worn me out." Donna added. "But at least we got this awesome spaceship. I'll make some modifications after my nap. I'm just glad the whole Fugitoid crisis is finally over."
With that, Ellie piloted the spaceship over Beijing and soared into the sky.
Elsewhere, a white blast of bright light appeared out of nowhere and struck the center of the gigantic hole in New York. The teleportation beam brought the Fugitoid to Earth.
"Oh, dear, am I too late?" Fugitoid spoke as he surveyed his surroundings.
Enjoy and review.
