"Bulma!" Goku exclaimed.
"Goku! You actually found your way here?!" Bulma asked.
"This Mr. Policeman helped me!" Goku said.
"You're the heiress of the Capsule Corporation?" The officer perked up.
"Yup! Thanks for the help!" She turned back to Goku, "So what's up?"
"The radar you gave me broke, so I need you to fix it," Goku explained.
"Hey, no problem come with me!" She said as Goku began to follow her.
"Umm...I hate to be a pest...but my scooter's been giving me some trouble, you think you could fix it." The officer asks.
"Yeah, sure. Come on in." Bulma said as the three of them walked into the building. As they walked passed the reception desk they came in front of a door. Bulma pressed a button and the door revealed a giant indoor garden.
"Woah, we're outside again!" Goku exclaimed. They watched as tons of different cats and dogs ran around, even a few dinosaurs as well.
"There certainly are a lot of cats and dogs and such..." The officer noticed.
"Dad takes in lots of abandoned cats, dogs, and dinosaurs from all over," Bulma explained. As they kept walking an old man on a bike cycled towards them. He has bluish-gray hair and a large gray mustache. He wore a white lab coat over a light blue undershirt and a pair of rectangular glasses. He also had a small black cat on his shoulder. This is Bulma's father Dr. Brief.
"Welcome back, Bulma! And who is this?" Dr. Brief asked.
"I've talked about him a lot before. This boy is Goku." She told him.
"Oh! Is that so?" He went to shake the hand of the officer thinking he was Goku, "I see! I heard you were really short, but you're actually quite big!"
"Dad!"
"I'm Goku, Mister."
"Oh, I see. You are short!"
"T-This person is the Professor Brief who invented capsules?" The officer asked Bulma, who looked embarrassed.
"We're going upstairs. Take a look at this officer's scooter, Dad. Let's go, Goku." Goku followed Bulma as they headed towards her room.
"You two are at the kissing stage now?" Dr. Brief joked.
"Of course we're not!" Bulma yelled.
Goku followed Bulma into a room filled with a couple of gadgets and motor vehicles. She quickly got to work with the Dragon Radar, taking it apart to properly look at it. Goku looked on in surprise seeing how easy it was for Bulma to get to fixing it. "You really know a lot about complicated things like this. Goku said.
"Circuit A2 is almost entirely busted. You must've really used it roughly." Bulma explained.
"I just had it inside my shirt the whole time."
"I'd like it if you used it more carefully this time. Alright, all fixed" She pressed the button on top and it started showing the two Dragon Balls in Goku's possession. "Huh? You've only got two of the balls. You sure are lollygagging!"
Goku chuckled, "Finding them is pretty tough."
"If you had me with you, we'd have all seven balls in no time flat...so why don't I help you out?" Bulma said.
"No thanks! Your reflexes are slow, so you'll just be in the way!" Goku said.
"In the way?! I'm one of the best girls there is!" Bulma argued.
"And you can't ride the Flying Nimbus, either..." Goku mentioned.
Bulma let out a laugh, "Oh, but I can!"
"You've become a good person now?" Goku asked
"I've always been a good person!" Bulma yelled angrily. "I'm just guilty of being a beautiful girl!" Buma reached for the watch on her wrist, "Tadah! Have a look at this?"
"What's that?"
"It's a Micro-Band that I made. If I press this button, I can shrink in size." Bulma tapped on the watch and shrunk down to Goku's ankle.
"Amazing! You've turned small like a mouse!" Goku said in shock.
"What do you think? Surprised, huh? Now you can easily carry me around! Now I can ride on the Nimbus" Bulma explained. "I've always wanted to try riding on that cloud." The next thing Bulma knew, a foot came crashing down on her.
"Oh, so you're Goku?" Goku looked up to see an older woman with a thin frame and blonde hair, she's wearing a blue dress and yellow bangles on her wrists. "What a pleasure it is to meet you. I'm Bulma's mother Panchy!" She smiled at the boy completely unaware she was stepping on her daughter until she returned to her normal size. "Oh, what are you doing under my foot, Bulma?!"
"You stepped on me, Mom!" Bulma yelled.
"It's because you shrank down in a place like that..." Panchy said almost nonchalantly.
"It's your fault for suddenly showing up, Mom!" Bulma argued.
"Forgive my daughter. She can be noisy..." she said to Goku. "Here you are, have some alcohol."
"Don't go giving alcohol to kids!"
"Going through that rebellious period..." At that point, Bulma was about to rip her hair out.
"Hey, where's Yamcha and Oolong?" Goku asked. "Weren't they all living here?"
"That's right, they do live here. But Yamcha and Bulma are having a big fight right now." Panchy said.
"Mom! Mind your own business!" Bulma said. "I'm gonna go look for Dragon Balls with Goku again! And this time, I'm gonna find a way better guy than Yamcha!
"In that case maybe I should come along and find a man myself!" she said.
"NO, YOU DON'T!" Bulma yelled. "C'mon Goku! Let's go!"
"You're really going?" Goku asked.
"Tch! Always so rebellious..." Panchy said.
Bulma and Goku walked into Dr. Briefs' lab and saw him finishing up the repairs on the officer's hoverbike. "Okey dokey! She oughta fly now!" Dr. Briefs said.
"Thank you so much, sir! This is such an honor!" The officer said.
"Hey, Dad, have you seen my capsule case?" Bulma asked.
"It's on top of my desk. Why? You going somewhere?"
"I'm gonna go help Goku with his Dragon Ball quest!"
"Oho! Well, if you find all seven could you wish for a pretty girl for me?!"
"WILL YOU BOTH QUIT IT?!" Bulma yelled. She made her way to the front of the building with Goku. "Okay! Why don't we start with the one about 8000 km to the southeast."
"That way, right?" Goku asked as Bulma nodded, "Flying Nimbus!"
"Guess I better shrink myself!" Bulma tapped on her microband shrinking down to size. Goku picked her up and placed her in his shirt before flying off.
The officer stared in shock at everything he saw, "I just don't understand rich people...oh well." He then hopped on his bike before it sped off much faster than it originally did.
Red Ribbon Army HQ
Commander Red watched as the two Dragon Balls were on the move again, "The boy in question seems headed toward the Dragon Ball that General Blue is searching for." Officer Black said.
"Wh-What incredible speed...! That brat!" Red turned to one of the soldiers, "You faxed his picture ahead right?! Tell Blue to pool all his resources and dispose of that brat the second he's sighted!"
"Yes sir!" The soldier said.
Blue Company Quarters
"Don't tell me you haven't found it yet! Commander Red is furious!" A tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed man told his soldiers. This was General Blue.
"We're searching as hard as we can, sir!" A tigerman said, "The nearest we can figure, has sunk to the ocean floor, so it's not going to be easy to..."
"I don't want excuses!" Blue commanded before pointing to a soldier who seemed to be picking his nose, "You! Yes, you! Were you just picking your nose!"
"I-I'm sorry, sir I-I-I just...!" The soldier stuttered.
"Filthy habit! Execute him immediately!" Blue ordered. Two other soldiers grabbed the poor guy and took out back to shoot him. "Lovely sound."
"General Blue! We've received a message from HQ! It seems that the brat is heading our way!" A Foxman soldier said.
"Really? Coming to General Blue is he?"
"Isn't he the one who totaled Silver and White's companies, sir?"
"Yes... to the shame of the Red Ribbon Army." Blue pulled out the picture of Goku sent to him. "Hehehe... This is going to be quite exciting!"
Goku and Bulma flew across the vast ocean, "Yow... This place is hot!" Goku said.
"Stop, stop! The Dragon Ball should be somewhere right beneath us!" Bulma said.
"Huh? But right beneath us is just a bunch of water!"
"It must have sunk to the ocean floor. Well, I guess our first step is to find a place we can land." Bulma looked in the distance and saw an island nearby. "There's a fairly empty island just a few boats around." Goku flew towards the island and landed, Bulma hopped out of his shirt and unshrank herself.
"I'll go dive in the ocean and look for it!" Goku said.
Bulma chuckled to herself, "Ho ho! No need for such crudity! Now's when you'll thank me for coming!" Bulma pulled out her capsule case, "I thought this might happen, and so I packed an aquamobile!"
To Bulma's shock, however, there was only one capsule in the case, "What?! Why is there only one capsule in here?!" She then came to a horrible realization, "Oh, no... not that... not Dad's capsule case."
"What's inside that one?" Goku asked.
"I'm not sure I want to know. I've got a bad feeling." Bulma said.
"It could be something useful!"
"Well, I guess there is a tiny chance. Okay, Dad... I'm gonna trust you!" Bulma tossed the capsule and it opened up to reveal... a bunch of porn magazines.
"Weird, how come they're naked if they're not taking baths?" Goku said looking at one of the magazines.
"Children shouldn't look as such things!" Bulma yelled snatching it out of his hands, she then proceeded to tear them all to shreds. "I'll never trust you again, you dirty old man!"
"I guess I'll dive down and get it, huh?" Goku removed his clothes and hopped on the Nimbus to the area where the Dragon Ball was. "I think it was around here, here we go!" He dove into the water and after a few minutes, Goku realized this was a mistake.
He quickly surfaced and let air enter his lungs, he quickly hopped back on Nimbus and flew back to the island. "Hey, Bulma! This ocean thing is really deep! I can't hold my breath that long!" Goku yelled.
He reached the island and realized Bulma wasn't anywhere around, "Huh? Where'd she go off to?"
Bulma walked around the island on her own, "It looks like people are living here...so there must be a place to buy capsules right?" She heard a noise in the air and saw two planes. "Huh? What's that? HEY! DOWN HERE!"
She tried waving down the planes which turned out to be a mistake because they started to open fire. "HEY, WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!" Bulma yelled as she ran from the planes.
The pilot got a closer look at the target, "Looks like we've got the wrong target! This one's a girl!" He said into the radio. The planes landed and the two men who were Red Ribbon soldiers approached Bulma.
"Heh~ sorry about that, you know how it goes." The soldier apologized.
"Are you nuts?! You could've killed me!" Bulma yelled. "On a different note, can you tell me where they sell capsules on this island?"
"Capsules? Sorry, this island's uninhabited not much for sale here! But hey, you sure are a pretty li'l thang!" The soldier said.
"Oh, do you think so?" Bulma said bashfully.
"How bout havin' some fun with us, huh?" The other soldier said.
"Havin' som fun? Wh-when you say 'fun' you don't mean videogames do you?" Bulma said as she started backing up. "You mean those naughty things that you aren't allowed to describe in a T-rated fanfic, don't you?"
"Bingo! You got it!" The soldiers as they got back into their planes.
"Well, in that case, GOKU! HELP MEEEE!" Bulma yelled as she ran away.
Goku heard Bulma's yell and flew to her location, "There she is! What in the heck is she doing?" He flew past the two planes and caught up with Bulma, "Hey! What's up? Are they bad guys?"
"YES! HURRY AND CLOBBER THEM!" Bulma panted.
"THAT'S HIM! THE BRAT!" The soldier said. Both of them began firing at Goku who easily dodged the onslaught.
"Oh yeah?! You're part of that Red Ribbon bunch, aren't you?!" Goku asked as leaped to kick one of the planes knocking it down. He brought out his Power Pole and leaped to the second plane "Extend!" The staff grew and sliced the plane in half causing it to crash with the other one.
Bulma watched as she basically saw Goku kill two people, "Uhh, don't you think that was a bit much for just chasing me a little?"
"Hey! I have a good idea!" Goku said oblivious to what he did before, "We're not that far from Master Roshi's place! The old timer's probably got a capsule for something that can dive underwater!"
"Roshi, huh? Oh, that's just peachy..." Bulma said not too thrilled with the idea of getting Roshi involved.
"Heh heh, you're not the only smart one!" Goku said.
Our heroes leave the island for now, and head towards Roshi's island. "Yecch...that ol' leach is the last person I wanted to ask a favor of, but whatever."
"Look! I can see it!" Goku said. He flew down to the shore and hopped off the cloud to see Turtle on the beach.
"My word, if it isn't Goku! Long time no see!" Turtle greeted.
"Hey, Turtle! Is Master Roshi around?" Goku asked.
"Well he was, you just missed him," Turtle said.
"What? Where did he go?"
"He left for Magnolia a few hours ago, he likes to visit Fairy Tail from time to time."
"Fairy Tail huh? It has been a while since I last went there, ok thanks Turtle!" Goku hopped back on the Nimbus and flew off.
"Too bad he couldn't stay a little longer," Turtle said a little disappointed.
Red Ribbon HQ
Red and Black watched as the Dragon Balls were on the move once again. "What is going on here? Why did that brat, without having found the Dragon Ball, suddenly travel over there." Red said.
"Something's been nagging at me for a while now…I'd swear that that boy has accomplices." Black said. "No mere child could fashion a radar so much more sophisticated than ours, so he must be in league with a brilliant scientist."
"Not only that, according to General White, the brat's in league with Fairy Tail. Then the guild must be his base of operations" The commander concluded.
"It's all that makes sense," Black confirmed.
"Very well! Contact General Blue! Have him reconnoiter the area and locate the enemy camp!"
Magnolia
Goku flies through the vast area bouncing with excitement to see his friends again. "Hopefully Roshi can give us something that can help us find that Dragon Ball," Bulma said. "At our speed, it shouldn't be far until we get to Magnolia."
"Hey! I see it!" Goku exclaimed.
As Magnolia comes into view Nimbus begins to descend to the building they're looking for, the Fairy Tail guild. Goku hopped off the Nimbus and brought Bulma out of his shirt to unshrink herself.
"So this is the Fairy Tail guild?" Bulma said.
"You should see the inside there's a lot of cool people!" Goku said. They opened the doors to the lively guild of the members looking towards the entrance. "Yo!"
"Oh hey, it's that Goku kid!" A member named Max called out. The other guild members turned to see the monkey-tailed boy. Others chatter among themselves happy to see the boy again.
"Oh Goku, I didn't expect to see you here!" Roshi called out from the bar. "And I see you're here too Bulma hehe. So I take it you found your grandfather's heirloom already?"
"Not exactly, Bulma could you explain, please," Goku asked.
"Um, you wouldn't happen to own an underwater vehicle, would you?" She asked."We're going to borrow it for a little while."
"Underwater vehicle, huh? Well, I do have one, but what are you going to do with it?" Roshi asks.
"The Dragon Ball's on the ocean, but it's so deep that even I can't dive that far down!" Goku explains.
"I see, I see, well sure, I'll loan it to you! However, it should be with Launch right now. She took Krillin and Natsu grocery shopping." Roshi explained. "They'll be back soon, so just hang tight."
Bulma decided to unwind at the bar while Goku decided to catch up with his friends. "So these are the Dragon Balls you were looking for?" Cana asks.
"Well these aren't, the one I'm looking for has four stars, I really hope it's the next one we're looking for," Goku explains.
"So these things can really grant wishes, that sounds awesome!" Elfman said. "It must've been hard to get these?"
"Well aside from taking out those Red Ribbon guys, it hasn't been that bad!"
The kids gasped at Goku's remark, the boy just stared and their shocked faces, "What?"
"You took on the Red Ribbon army?!" Levy exclaimed.
"They're the the most dangerous army in the country, their numbers rival most guilds including ours!" Lissana said.
"And you took them out on your own? Awesome!" Mira complimented.
"Well it wasn't completely on my own, Gray helped me out when I went to his village."
"Gray fought them too? You should've invited me, I would've loved knocking some heads!" Mira complained.
"Wow really? Okay, next time there's a big fight I'll bring you along!" Goku said.
"Yes!" Mira said with a devilish smile.
"Oh by the way, where's Erza?" Goku asks.
"Oh she's out on a job right now, it shouldn't be long before she gets back," Cana says.
A bit more time passes and doors open to Launch, Krillin, and Natsu with some groceries. Krillin and Natsu's eyes widened when they saw their friend, "GOKU!" They quickly ran over and dog-piled him.
"Hey you guys, how you been?!" Goku said in laughter.
Bulma walked over to the boys, it warmed her heart seeing them reunite, "Hey there! You're Bloomers, right?" Krillin said.
"It's Bulma!" She yelled.
"You certainly took your time," Roshi said.
"Yeah...Launch transformed in town again and caused this huge ruckus." Natsu explained.
"Tee-hee I just had to sneeze." Seemingly oblivious.
"Anyway, Goku! What brings you here?" Krillin asked.
"Are you here to join the guild?!" Natsu asks excitedly.
"Well actually..."
Blue Company Quarters
"Come in recon vehicle! Have you found anything yet?" General Blue asked over the radio.
"No sign of any suspicious structures yet, sir. However, there aren't many islands in the vicinity, so it shouldn't take much longer."
'Hm, Commander Red did say Fairy Tail was involved, so that could be the brat's base.' Blue thought before the speaker again, "Change of plans soldier, forget the islands for now, and head straight to the city of Magnolia."
Fairy Tail guild
"Wow! So that's the scoop, huh?" Krillin said. "I get why you need the underwater vehicle. And since you'll be in the area, why not find that pirate treasure while you're at it?"
"Pirate?" Goku questions.
"Treasure?! What treasure?!" Bulma asks.
"The treasure hoarded by the pirates who infested that coast a long, long time ago, was supposedly hidden somewhere in the ocean!" Roshi explained.
"Pirate treasure! How romantic!" Bulma said. "Wouldn't it be wonderful to find?!"
"That sounds like fun I wanna come too!" Krillin says.
"Count me in! It'll be like old times!" Natsu says.
"Well, I suppose you boys can go," Roshi said.
"Let's get going then!" Goku says. The four exit the guild and toss the capsule revealing a plane that doubles as a submarine. Before they get ready to leave a familiar voice catches their attention.
"And where are you two going?" Krillin and Natsu turn in fear to see Erza.
"Oh, Erza when did you get here? I thought you were on a job?" Natsu said.
"I just got back and I find you and Krillin off to who knows where." She said.
"We're not making trouble, we're just helping Goku get a Dragon Ball in the ocean!" Krillin explained.
"There also might be pirate treasure!" Natsu added.
"Pirate treasure huh? Interesting." Erza pondered.
"You can come with us if you want," Goku says. "I'm sure we could use the help."
"In that case, I'd love to accompany you," Erza said. The five of them hopped in the plane and flew towards the islands where the Dragon Ball was located.
"Hey, isn't this one of those airplane things? We need something that can dive into the ocean!" Goku asks.
"Don't be stupid! This thing can do that too!" Bulma then realized something. "Oh, shoot! I forgot the backpack that has the two Dragon Balls in it!"
"Don't worry, I'm sure Master Roshi and the others will watch them for you!" Natsu said.
"I guess so, just don't let me forget them again when we're done." She said.
In the distance, a Red Ribbon plane spotted the group flying towards the islands, "General Blue! I have just detected a flying object bearing your direction! I believe it's the brat in question!" The soldier said over the radio, "I shall investigate the direction of its origin!"
The soldier continued to fly in the direction of Magnolia until he spotted what he was looking for, Fairy Tail. "Yes! The enemy base, the Fairy Tail guild!"
'Excellent soldier, report back immediately!' Blue said.
Blue Company Quarters
"No doubt if the brats getting help from a guild, the scientist who crafted that incredible radar should be there as well," Blue said. "It won't be long now."
God this chapter took me a while to finish, I thought I could get it done while on vacation for two weeks, but I was never able to finish it till now.
Anyway, Erza and Natsu are coming with the original trio to the underwater cavern. And General Blue has his sights on Fairy Tail.
Also, I'm a little conflicted, before I started this story I was pretty dead set on making Erza get with Goku, then I thought Mira would be good especially when I bring Gohan into the story which is the reason I made the poll months ago. And recently I thought Cana would also be interesting.
Maybe I'll do another poll down the line because I don't want to go for a harem story.
