The King's Explanation (Explanation by the God-Tree, the past revealed by Yggdrasil)
The intense amount of fear was shared through every single individual in the room, even the mighty Sovereigns were shuddering at the sight of the being in the room, the being turned and their eyes glowed red, which caused the crystals to move around and create a crystal staircase and the being spoke afterwards, "The Royal Knights must follow." The voice was emotionless and was calm, but everyone knew that they had to listen to them. The team followed with the Digimon having gone back to their base forms and the crystal being was leading them and the only noise was their feet on the crystals which made a 'clack' sound, there was a conversation behind them, but that was silenced by the crystals covering it up.
The group was silent as they walked through a dark void with the crystal's the only light to show them the way and slowly, they turned into a slight spiral and then, they noticed that there was something coming up, something very bright. As they entered the bright light, it took some time for the group to get their bearings together as they looked around their new location and, it was strange, to say the least, the ground was made of grass that was not only cyan blue, but it was also see-through, the sky seemed to have a glitching style affect and there were multiple versions of the crystal being in different forms, there was also a large statue of a white knight whom looked bizarrely like Veemon in some parts. But it was the thing in front of them which gave everyone a second as they realised what it was, a floating blue orb was hovering there, the same blue orb that had shown them their Digimon partners and had started off their adventure.
Hushed whispers went throughout the assembled group, "Wait a second, that can't be." "Is it?" "From when we started?" "Unbelievable." "Holy…" and then, the orb spoke, "Thank you for making it this far, brave warriors." The voice was calm with no assorted gender, no nationality and no age, but it spoke with emotion, Keith summed up everyone's thoughts perfectly, "Okay, this takes the cake in weirdness, and we just fought a multiplying mouse a few minutes ago, are you meant to be God?" "I am, in essence, but I am not the one you know." "You are sounding so much like Gearmon now, it's not even funny." "Agreed." Impmon responded to which Catherine semi-shushed them and Natalie stepped forward and asked "I-I apologise f-for their demeanour, b-but we are confused by your g-great power." "Please do not fear me, for I am not the most powerful beings here now, that is you humans as a whole, I presume?" The group had no idea how to respond and the orb chuckled as the sky itself stopped and became inky black, "It is time you all knew the truth about what we are."
The entire room became black as the orb was the only light source available and soon afterwards, they saw something in the sky, a blinding flash of light appeared and then disappeared instantly and all that was left was the blue orb and then what appeared to be sped up footage occurred, showing the orb moving around the black void alone, and then the footage returned to normal speed and for 30 seconds, the orb was still alone, until a large collection of electrical sparks appeared before it, and the orb interacted with the sparks and a plethora of colours shot out of everywhere, and slowly out of the colours fours shapes were formed, one of a bird, one a cat, one of a snake and one of a tortoise and slowly, everything began to make sense for the group.
"So, let me see if I've got this straight," Steven responded, "You were created during the Big Bang, but you didn't exist in the normal terms of our dimension, you then wandered alone for, however long it was until you encountered the beginning of our internet… so that means you've existed exactly where Earth is, since I've no idea how much you've actually explored of this dimension, and when you found the internet, (in this case it sounds ridiculous,) you created life based on what you found out about humanity. Am I correct about this?" "You are correct. I learned about humanity from their connections to technology, I discovered their myths, their society, their life-forms, and most importantly, their natures and I was able to create life based on what I had discovered, I was called King Drasil because of my discovery of what could be called the world and the fact that the first thing that the first four Digimon saw was a great try, designed to hide my presence and I created more life and, because of my connection to humanity, time moved much faster, millions of years passed in only a few in your time zone and it was wonderful, sadly however, that came at a price, to paraphrase a quote you humans use, for every yin, there must always be a yang." An audible sigh came, not from the orb, but from the statue, who then stood up.
"It is interesting to see my comrades, once again after a century of silence, that the error I made has returned to harm not just us but your world as well." The armoured warrior spoke with great dignity and age and the Digimon fully realised whom they were talking to, "It's good to see you once again, Imperialdramon." "Good to see ya boss." "At least we now know you survived your battle." The Digimon corresponded with Imperialdramon which confused the humans even more, to which the orb elaborated on, "When I created this 'Digital World' at the beginning, the Digimon stayed in their own groups, but over time they began to mingle with each other and a sense of order was needed and to that extent, a warrior of justice rose up, I based the form on something called a paladin, and Imperialdramon Paladin Mode as he was called, formed the Royal knight made up of the most honourable and greatest warriors at the time and for a long time peace was at hand, but sadly, there were two very big mistakes that both I and Imperialdramon failed to reign in and they both came into place."
Imperialdramon put his hands to his face in despair at that statement as he revealed what his mistake was, "Before I found the Knights I had an apprentice, a skilled warrior from a dark Zone called SkullKnightmon, he was skilled and very eager to learn, and I did pay as close attention as I should have. For you see I forgot about him during my battles leading the Royal knights and he grew eager for more power and at that time I considered it excellent considering who was near, but what I did not know, was the extent to how he claim the power. After an intense battle with a powerful Digimon called Apocalymon, his essence remained in a form of energy we called, 'The Heart of Apocalypse.' A year had passed since that battle and we heard rumours about a large army that was forming in one of the Zones and that SkullKnightmon had left to battle them… and when we encountered the army, it was revealed what had happened, in his eagerness for power, SkullKnightmon willing absorbed the Heart into himself and gained incredible power, and thus the war began. For 100 years we battled, and the more we fought, the more powerful and crazed AxeKnightmon as he called himself, became until the final clash, ended with me nearly fatally injured and the Royal Knights sacrificed themselves in the final battle to defeat SkullKnightmon and they were turned into statues due to the intense energy."
"That explains how we encountered you about… 3 months ago now isn't it?" "Y-yeah it is, wow time's gone fast." "Yeah, it has." "Hang on a minute, if you defeated AxeKnightmon back then, why is he still around now?" A murmur of agreement went throughout the humans before Imperialdramon explained what had happened, "The heart had survived and barely, so had AxeKnightmon, I was in a coma with Drasil as my only company and after I had recovered, I discovered that the heart had fused with a Digimon called PawnChessmon and as such had become KingChessmon and that AxeKnightmon had found him and had become his bodyguard and he was awaiting the time for him to strike once again."
"Once I realised just how powerful AxeKnightmon had become I realised that I would need help from an outside source and so I used my power to reach into your realm and I made notes so that I could get the correct help, I chose humans like you, because you had the ability to pay attention and at the same time still be kind which considering your world is interesting." A collective nod went throughout the group and Drasil continued, "I made sure that champions of humans and Digimon were partnered together as a group, from my internal knowledge, 6872 humans around the world are partnered to Digimon and from that information, I would like to ask you humans, a single question, something that has been confusing me greatly for a while now and that question is this; What does Justice actually mean?"
