Near a high school, Adrian and Alya were helping Marinette up to her feet after she had fallen down while the former picked up her backpack for her. When she turned around, she gave him a sheepish yet thankful look until Chloé carelessly knocked her down to give Adrian a hug while frustrating Marinette in the process.

As the sun faded away and was replaced with a full moon, a generic Horror was about to pounce onto a man with light magenta hair tips who was trying to back away from with his hands when a Garo appeared in between them and runs the Horror through with an ornate Longsword, vaporizing it to nothing!

After seeing the human safe, Garo then charged into a group of twelve other Horrors as Ladybug swung next to him with a yo-yo.

Now in front of a ladybug-patterned background, Ladybug was now standing side-by-side with Cat Noir. They give each other a nod before the hero tried to give the heroine a kiss, which she jumps over as they transform to their civilian forms, Marinette and Adrian, but this time he was wearing a white trench coat with a checker patterned inside, a hood over his head, and a yellow two-piece Kabuki Lion mask on his face. They then looked at each other like nothing happened, with the girl looking at him with 'cutsie eyes' as Adrian looks at her with a cocky smile as he plants his sheathed sword down.

Now day time, all five of the heroes are now standing in front of the Eiffel Tower while posing side-by-side.
"HEEELP!!!" Marinette screamed as she ran through the halls of the school in fear as she turned her head back to see Stormy Weather walking after her at a steady pace. Unfortunately, she did not see Lady WiFi standing in front of her until it was too late, getting herself paused as she stopped her from turning around before Stormy Weather froze her in a block of ice. Immediately after, Jinga dropped down from nowhere and inspected the captive before plunging his hands into the ice and pulling out Marinette's earrings. "Good work, girls." He told them as they walked up to each other and clasped hands. Suddenly a boy with purple skin, a moth-shaped mark that looked like a mask on his face, and red hair, wearing a black beret, a suit that has white with black stripes on the upper part and a black, that seamlessly changes to red as it goes down the ankles, lower part, and a tablet stuck onto his right forearm, dropped down as well, getting everyone's attention. "Well well, if it isn't the turncoat. Here to save the day I presume?" Jinga asked as Stormy Weather was about to hit him with an attack, when the boy pulled out a pin from the tablet and erased a digital version of the umbrella, causing said object to disappear in the real world! As Lady Wifi then tried to pause him, he created a clear glass box, trapping the two while Jinga lunged at him, getting him to just barely limbo underneath the incoming blade, cutting off a piece of his hair! Falling backwards, he erased the floor Jinga was skidding across, making him fall through before it closed, slicing off his arm! Afterwards, the boy then proceeded to erase the ice imprisoning Marinette, freeing her as she stumbled. "Oh, Super Nathan, you're my hero!" Marinette declared as she leaped into his arms. "It was nothing." "This is a pyrrhic victory, Nathaniel!" Jinga declared as he flew upwards, revealing him in his Horror form as he clutched the stolen earrings, getting Super Nathan to hold onto Marinette tightly as he glared at Jinga! "I have won the war, you're just too stupid to realize it." He told him.
"Nathaniel! What are you drawing?!" A dark purple-haired woman with a pointy chin, wearing a white lab coat over a purple V-necked dress shirt and blue jeans, shouted as she slammed the table right next to the real Nathaniel, who was snapped back from an extremely well drawn illustration of what was happening. "These 'artistic endeavors' are clearly why you are failing science!" She declared as she pinched one of the sketches before dropping it and wiping her hand on her shirt, like it was a disease. "I'm sorry." "You go march yourself down to the principal's office and show him that chicken scratch! Then you'll be really sorry!" " "Chicken Scratch"?! You wouldn't know good art if it came to you and gave you a charlie horse!" Zack, who was now wearing a blood red trenchcoat, told the teacher before he stopped Nathaniel from falling, by grabbing the back of his shirt, and pulling him back up. "I got ya." "Oh, look Sabrina, it's him as a superhero. And look who he's saving, it's Marine-Ah!" Chloé was saying mockingly before her wrist was grabbed and twisted by Zack before taking the book that fell off of Nathaniel, from her. "You or Ms. Mendeleiev try that again, you'll be missing an arm!" "Enough! Nathaniel, Zack, go!" Ms. Mendeleiev ordered, getting both of them to leave.
"Ah, artists can be so emotional. I love it!" Hawkmoth said as he stood on top of one of the buildings as one of Amily's butterflies landed on his hand before he covered it with his other hand, turning it into an Akuma. "Fly to him, my little Kagekuma. Draw him into our evil web." He told it before the Kagekuma flew to the school.
Meanwhile, Zack and Nathaniel were walking to the principal's office. "This is futile, he's just going to say that the art's good, give us a slap on the wrist, and send us back to tell her not to waste his time." "And you didn't have to do that, you know. Nobody else did." Nathaniel told him depressedly. "Well somebody had to. Because if this school only has teachers that do extreme measures like this and students that steal from each other and mock you for your talents, then it's no wonder Hawkmoth has so many people to use." Zack tells him before turning around, noticing Nathaniel had turned around to grab his pen he dropped just as the Kagekuma assimilated itself into the object, causing Hawkmoth's mask lining to appear on his face. "
"Are you tired of having your creative spirit crushed? Evilustrator, I am your friend and patron of the arts, and I am here to offer you support. But I don't give this kind of power for free. I have a couple of items that need retrieving." Hawkmoth informed Nathaniel, getting him to slightly smirk menacingly.
"Just tell me what you want." He told Hawkmoth as the mask disappeared and he began transforming into Evilustrator, a copy of Super Nathan with a tinted visor standing above his eyebrows and a palette on his left arm. As he saw this, Zack acted fast and stealthily pulled something from his coat and placed it onto his back before running back a few meters before the transformation was complete. 'Sorry Nate, but you'll be serving as bait. That is why I got myself in trouble.' He mentally told no one before running to the principal's office.
"The next particle presentation group is, Nino, Adrien, and Alya. And then Sabrina, Chloé, and Marinette." Ms. Mendeleiev told the class, causing Marinette to slam her head onto her table as Alya pats her back. "Uh, Miss, can't you add her to another group? Sabrina and I work much better on our own." "This is a group presentation, not pairs. Deal with it!" She told Chloé just before the bell rang. "I hate dealing with it!" She claimed quietly as everyone got out of their seats. "You wouldn't be willing to trade groups, would you?" "And deal with that twosome of terror? No thanks. But I do promise to talk about you between the particles and the physics." Alya told Marinette, getting her spirits up as she tackled her into a hug.
"Forget it, Sabrina. I don't have time for some dumb project. Besides, now you have Marinette to help you." "Okay, that's fine, we'll do the work, Chloé. Don't worry." Sabrina told Chloé as Marinette and Zack walked into the locker room. "Um, is everything alright?" "Ugh, it's fine, Marinette. And why are you here, shouldn't you be in the Principal's office?" Chloé asked. "I was and I told Mr. Damocles what happened. He said he would have a talk with her about sending a student over for a trivial matter." Zack explained, causing her to groan with an eye roll. "And I heard you saying that you won't help us with the project, why?" "Because psycho here nearly broke my wrist and I have to get it nursed." Chloé told Marinette. "It okay, Marinette. You and I will do all the research for the project and Chloé can present it. That way it's equal." That is not equal at all! Is that how you two work?!" "Yeah, we've been doing this since elementary when I started doing Cholé's homework, and we've been BFFs ever since." Sabrina explained to Marinette, confusing Zack to the point of causing a nosebleed. "You got a problem with that? Come on, Sabrina." "Sabrina, you are aware of parasitism, right?" Zack asked her before she could leave with Chloé while pulling out a handkerchief to wipe the blood off and cover his nose. "What he means is that Chloé's totally taking advantage of you. You shouldn't have to do everything she tells you to do. That's not how regular friends work, let alone best friends." "Not only am I Sabrina's best friend, I'm her only friend. So she'd better do what I say, cuz without me, she'd have no friends." Chloé told Marinette while resting an arm on Sabrina's shoulder, until the latter was carefully pulled away. "Than consider me her temporary friend until she can find new ones on her own. One's that actually want her around for her quirks and personality." "And I'd rather have no friends than be friends with you." Zack and Marinette respectively told Chloé as Sabrina began to look like she was having an epiphany. "Whatever. I've got more important things to worry about. My hair's a hot mess and Jean-Claude promised to work his magic. Later!" She told them before leaving. "So anyway, what was with the nosebleed?" "Aneurysm from someone else's naivety. Now I gotta go to the library for my two hours of detention. I'll see you all tomorrow." Zack tells Marinette before he too leaves the room.
Minutes later, everyone in school started to leave as Sabrina ran up to Marinette. "Marinette! I can't believe you stood up to Chloé like that! That was so amazing!" "Well, uh, yeah, what're friends for?" "You are my friend, and I'm super excited to hang out with you and have a new best friend that actually helps me with the project. We're going to have the absolute best time together, then we'll do the presentation and tell Ms. Mendeleiev the truth about Chloé, sounds good?" Sabrina hastily said as Marinette immediately started feeling uncomfortable. "Sounds… great?" "YEAH! Then I'll see you in the library, new bestie!" She told her before heading to the upper floors.
Meanwhile, in an unoccupied classroom, Rei and Zack were looking down at a tablet with a map of Paris on it, and a red dot on the Collège Françoise Dupont. "Looks like the target hasn't left the building." "Yes, Edred may be slightly mad, but he certainly knows how to make a tracker work." The latter stated to the former. "And of the surveillance cameras?" Zack asked as Rei reached into his coat and pulled out a thumb drive before plugging it into the tablet, showing them the Kagekuma flying from the front of above the school and down to Nathaniel's pen. "Looks like the Akuma came in from the west side…" He paused as they then saw Evilustrator transform and leap to the south side of the roof. "And Nathaniel went south. And you said taking the security guard job here was just a drop in the bucket." Rei said as looked at Zack with a smug look.
(Flashback, 2 days ago, Damocles' office)
"Well, I must say Mr. Suzumura, your resume is quite impressive. But I feel inclined to tell you this now; The reason I'm looking for a day-time security guard is purely to protect myself from an Akumatized student or teacher. The latter hasn't happened yet, but I'd rather be prepared." Mr. Damocles stated after he looked down the paper he was given and placed it down onto the desk as Rei sat on the opposite side. "Honestly, if it were a year ago, it would've been a deal breaker. But after what I've seen, I think this is a good call. Now, will I be able to access the security cameras in case I need to figure out who it is?" He asked, getting Mr. Damocles to ponder on the request as he rubbed his bearded chin. "Very well, but please be careful with it, the system hasn't been updated for decades." He told him before they shook hands.
(Present day, School Library)
"What do you mean you're not doing my assignment?!" "Marinette and Zack were right! I-I'm not your slave!" Sabrina told Chloé as they stood on opposite sides of Marinette. "Well, I never actually said that." "But Marinette didn't buy a super cure beret at Gabriel's and I did. And perhaps I could lend it to you," Chloé said as she pulled out a black beret with a white bow. "Excuse me, but are you trying to bribe her into staying your friend, with a hat?" "A really, really adorable hat. That would look fantastic on me!" Sabrina claimed. "No, excuse me, but you are trying to steal my friend from me, with homework!" Chloé claimed before suddenly pelted with a bunch of berets. "Ah, my hair!" She shouted as she covered her head before a giant black hairdryer suddenly appeared and started chasing her as she ran! "No! Not my hair!" Chloé shouted before she ran into a corner, when Armed Noir and Fire Claw suddenly appeared and stabbed the hairdryer from opposite sides, causing it to spark and shut down! "Get out of here, hurry! Another one could appear!" The former told her before she left the library in a hurry as Ladybug appeared on top of one of the bookshelves! "There he is!" She shouted, getting their attention as they saw her pointing to Evilustrator! Seeing he was about to get caught, he ran back from where they were jumping to and created three glass walls, blocking them as Ladybug smacked into it, Fire Claw's claws got stuck in the glass on his right, and Armed Noir stabbed into the glass on top with his spear! "White Out!" Rei, in his Miraculous form, shouted as Evilustrator snapped around with a small paintbrush and threw some red paint from the Palette, causing it to suddenly turn to fire and collide with the small blizzard, creating a thick mist! Blinded from where he was, Rei rushed forwards to try and stop him, only to feel and find no one there. "Damn it, we had him!" "Well clearly, he has a way of illustrating that we didn't." Armed Noir said jokingly as Ladybug growled in irritation.
(Le Grand Paris, Chloé's apartment)
"it seems this "Evilustrator" is targeting you specifically, Chloé. Do you have any idea who you could've wronged?" Armed Noir asked Chloé as he and the others were standing in her apartment while she was doodling on a piece of paper until she looked at him. "No. Everyone adores me." "That wouldn't be true if Lady Wifi didn't happen. Remember when you tried to get Alya Cesire a harsher punishment?" Rei asked rhetorically. "Never happened." "Then the fact that we got beaten to a bloody pulp and half the building was destroyed didn't happen?!" He asked again, this time more like a scolding parent, getting her to look down more and lose the clueless attitude. "We want to help you, but that makes it harder to do that if you can't help us." Armed Noir told her. "But I can't think of anyone who would." "Yeah, because you're so adorable." Ladybug said sarcastically, unfortunately getting Chloé to gasp in excitement. "Yes! Ladybug just said I'm adorable!" She claimed before attempting to get closer to her, only to be stopped and, accidentally, pushed to the floor by Fire Claw putting up a gauntlet. "Chloé Burgeois, this is serious! Your whole family could be in jeopardy at this rate! If he can't get to you, then he'll go after your father, the Mayor, capeesh?" "I don't know who it is, I swear!" "Truly?!" He asked again before offering a hand to Chloé, letting her take it before pulling her up. "Yes! It can't be Sabrina, she was with me." She claimed as she walked backwards towards Ladybug before grabbing a quiet surprise selfy, catching her off guard. "And, as much as I want it to be, it's not Marinette Dupain-Chang for the same reason, plus she wouldn't be able to dream of pulling this off let alone actually doing it. Ugh, I look great, but your smile's all wonky." She continued as she looked at the photo she took before rushing over to Ladybug to try again. "Sorry, I'm just a little camera shy." She claimed irritatedly as she walked away with dilated pupils. "But there is one guy in school who would love to attack me, Zack Prevalecer. He's the only one who has it out for me since he and his freakish family got here. He destroyed my phone and threatened me on two separate occasions!" Chloé stated, getting Rei to tilt his head to the side like a confused puppy. "That's impossible considering he was the one who sent us a tip that someone was going to attack you." He told her, getting her confused in return. Meanwhile, Armed Noir walked over to Ladybug, who was not happy. "Okay, what has you so irritated." "I'm fine." She told him, sounding not fine still. "I'm serious, Ladybug, you're acting like she wronged you in the past. And we can't afford to be impartial to others, not while Jinga and Amily are on the loose." Armed Noir tells Ladybug as she spots and picks up one of Nathaniel's drawings ruined, making her eyes dilate again. "Ugh, seriously? I'm over this, let's go!" "Have you lost it?! We need to stay put!" Armed Noir tells her as he grabs her semi-lifted arm! "Hey! LET ME GO!" "Not happening, we NEED to do the right thing!" He shouted as he and Ladybug struggled, getting everyone's attention. Just then, Ladybug began banging on his arm, hitting the gauntlet while futilely trying to break free before taking out her yo-yo and hitting him on the side of the head, making him stagger as he accidentally loosened his grip! Using the opportunity, she ran out to the balcony and swung her yo-yo to a lower building, letting her swing away as Armed Noir tried to grab her at the last second only to miss! "What's going on?!" "Ladybug just went AWOL, and it's got something to do with Chloé Bourgeois!" He told Rei, making him roar in frustration. "I should've taken those earrings from her when I had the chance! You two, stay here until further instructions from me or our Watchdog. I'll deal with this." He told Armed Noir and Fire Claw before leaping off the building and creating a slide of ice underneath him.
A little while later, Ladybug entered her bedroom through the skylight after transforming back, before throwing her bag onto the chaise, making Tikki fly out. "Hey!" "Sorry, Tikki, Chloé… she just fires up this little red bug!" "Well, simmer down and stop it! You can't afford to let your personal life affect your hero duties." She tells Marinette, who was still angry until she heard Tikki. "You're right. It's just that it's hard to keep my cool around her after everything she did to me before this school year." Marinette claimed as she gasped, remembering something. "Oh my gosh! I forgot about my assignment, and Sabrina!" She told herself as she rushed over to her bag and pulled out her phone before turning it on, showing her dozens of missed calls from Sabrina! "Uh oh, looks like you got yourself a new BFF." Tikki said teasingly as Marinette grabbed her hair in frustration before falling onto the chaise while Tikki noticed someone approaching the window, making her retreat into Marinette's bag. This causes Marinette to look behind herself and see Evilustator erasing the window before entering the room, surprising her! "It's you, from the library! What are you doing here!?" "Sorry, I just wanted to see you." He claimed as he saw Marinette panicking at first before looking at him skeptically. "Okay, but why did you attack Chloé?" "Because Chloé is cruel and selfish!" Evilustrator stated, getting her to agree on that. "Can't argue with that. Are you here to hurt me?" Marinette asked, getting him nervous. "You? You're Marinette. You're beautiful and sweet and… you're perfect and I could never hurt you!" She said sheepishly. "Wow, that's, uh… very, umm-" before Marinette could find the words, Rei suddenly appeared, jumping from her bed, and slashing across Evilustrator's chest with his shortswords! "What the heck?! Rei?!" "Shut up! I'll deal with you later." He told Marinette as he looked behind himself, at her, before glaring back at Evilustrator, who was recovering from the blow! "You, leave this place!" "Wait, please! I was only here to invite Marinette to a party for my birthday!" He explained while using the pen to undo the slash from his pad! "No one is going anywhere with you! Now, hand over your Akuma, tell us where Hawkmoth is, and I'll let you walk out of here without further harm." Rei told him, making him sigh as he put the pen back into his tablet. "I would if I could. From what I hear from the Ladyblog, he's always on the move." "Trust me, Nathaniel, we've worked with less. Now talk." He told Evilustrator, surprising both him and Marinette. "O-okay. All I know is that it was sunny and there were buildings behind him, but I don't know where." "Good enough, and now the Akuma." Rei calmly demanded before he slowly walked over, making Evilustrator nervous. Suddenly, he grabbed his paintbrush and threw down a glob of gray paint, creating a cloud of smoke that blinded everyone. Afterwards, a flash of light shined on Rei before the smoke began to get pushed out of where the window was. After a minute, Zero was visible, revealing that he was spinning his connected blades like a fan as the last of the smoke dissipated, revealing Evilustrator gone and a small letter next to a coughing Marinette. "What? Where'd he go?" She asked as she got up and looked around, before getting knocked over by a backhand. "Ow! What the-" "That was for abandoning your teammates." Zero told her before disengaging his armor. "Not only did you leave your team to face an unknown foe, you would've deliberately left a target of said enemy alone if it were just you! This was your biggest blunder thus far, Marinette!" Rei told her as she got back up while rubbing the left side of her face. "Ok, ok! I get it, I messed up. Tikki scolded me about it before either of you got here." She informed him before sitting back down, getting her to notice something underneath herself. "What's this?" She asked herself as she got back up and picked up a piece of paper before Rei moved it so he too could see what was written. " "Marinette, sorry for the hastily written letter, just wanted to tell you I'll be at the left bank near Notre-Dame at sunset. Please consider". Sounds like he really wants me there." "Yeah, too bad you're not going. I want to make sure this lesson sticks." Rei tells Marinette, surprising her. "What?! But you need me to capture the Akuma!" "That's why we'll grab the infected object and bring it to you. In the meantime, don't you have a group project you need to do?" He asked rhetorically before she sighed.
Meanwhile, back in Chloé's apartment, Fire Claw was lighting a red envelope on fire, letting the ashes form unintelligible words, while Armed Noir stared off outside and Chloé begrudgingly worked on her assignment. "Ooh, Sabrina is so selfish! Making me do this by myself?! Ugh, my brain hurrts." She whined before seeing Armed Noir and getting an idea. she then walked up to him. "Armed Noir, are you any good at particle physics?" "If you're trying to seduce me into doing your homework, then forget it. I'm a keeper of the peace, not a lackey." He told Chloé, who had her arms around his right arm, before he freed himself and walked over to Fire Claw, getting her upset. "So, should I tell Glacieak that something came up?" "A Horror has taken control of a gang near the city, emboldening them. I need to head there and take it out so the cops can dismantle the rest." He explained to Armed Noir just as his staff rang, getting him to remove it from his left gauntlet before answering it. "Glacieak, we were just talking about you." "And I was just talking with Ladybug, we found out who Evilustrator is and where he will be. He'll be on the left bank next to the Notre-Dame at Sunset, but I want you and Alix to intercept him and convince Nathaniel Kurtzberg to hand over the Akuma." Glacieak told Armed Noir as an image of Nathaniel appeared on his phone while Chloé walked up to them. "Okay, but Fire Claw has a mission from the Watchdog. He can't be here to protect Chloé." He claimed as Chloé tapped on his shoulder, getting him to turn around and push her away. "I'll ask Pierre to send Sakura and Sarah to your location. Meanwhile, I will track down Hawkmoth and take him out, and if you two fail, the Priestesses will handle Evilustrator until Ladybug, who is currently benched, arrives. Good luck." Glacieak tells him before they both hang up. "Bad news, Chloé, we're being transferred to handle two separate situations. But the good news is two close associates will be by later to guard you, and not do your assignment for you." Armed Noir informed Chloé before he and Fire Claw leaped off the building, leaving her angry. "What?! What about my presentation?!" She shouted while gesturing to her yellow binder before groaning in irritation!
Back with Marinette and Rei, they were about to leave through the front door, when they spotted Sabrina standing in front of them with a blue folder. "Oh, Sabrina! You scared me." "Sorry, I was just waiting for you. Did you get my messages?" Sabrina asked her. "Yes! Yes, I did! And I was totally gonna call you." Marinette said, lying to her. "You were? I knew you would… eventually. "Sabrina claimed, hopping with excitement for a second before stopping and handing her the folder. "And so, I did your geography homework!" "Woah, you didn't have to do that!" Marientte claimed as she stepped back and held her hands out vertically. "And you shouldn't have. You could get into more trouble than you realize." "Really? I didn't know!" Sabrina told Rei as she then clutched the folder closer to her chest, now worried. "It's okay. I'll just tear it up and do it myself." Marientte stated calmly. "Ok. So, You wanna work on the physics project tonight?" "Oh, she would love to work on it! I'm making her focus on the assignment after discovering she flaked out on Alya over a simple disagreement." Rei informed Sabrina before gently pushing Marinette closer to her, letting her walk over. "But I had something really important I had to do!" "Oh please, it's nothing that I can't handle for you. Now run along and stay out of trouble, I'll tell Tom and Sabine that you'll be spending the night at a friend's house." He tells Marinette before she hesitantly nodded before she and Sabrina walked away, leaving Rei alone as he walked back into the house. "Hm. Seems like a bump in the road, huh?" Silva asked, having listened to the whole conversation. "Just a simple relocation. This will still be a slam dunk." He told her confidently before she chuckled.
Hours later as the sun just finished setting, on the Seine, Evilustrator was sitting on a large boat, drawing numerous lights along the edge with mini Eiffel Tower in the center, when Hawkmoth's symbol appeared on his face. "That is a lovely little scene you're setting. But I don't want you to get distracted, boy." "I just want Marinette to love me." "And I want the Miraculouses. So get them! Or else." Hawkmoth ordered Evilustrator right before his left arm began to seize up and shake! "Okay, I will! I will!" He told him fearfully as he grabbed his arm until it stopped and the symbol disappeared! "Looks like the boss isn't too happy with your performance." Someone said, getting Evilustrator to snap around and spot Alix, wearing her Makai Priestess attire, standing behind him. "What the? How did you get here?!" "I was told to come here, and I jumped on board, thinking you wouldn't mind." Alix claimed nonchalantly. "Well, I do mind. Where's Marinette? I sent her the only invitation, kinda." Evilustrator muttered at the last second before putting his pen onto the pad. "Wait. I'm not here to fight, I just wanna talk." She claimed calmly while holding her hands up, showing she had nothing in her hands. After a minute and seeing the sun setting, he then sighed before taking the pen away from the tablet. "What do you really want?" "I just want to see how you're doing? Maybe talk you out of this." Alix stated sincerely as she walked up to him. "And Rei is having Marientte stay with Sabrina to work on their presentation on particle physics." "Wait, we had a project today?!" "Yep, a three-person group project. If you weren't Akumatized, you and Zack would probably be in two of the other groups as a fourth." She claimed as she looked at the the decor on the boat. "Wow, this is pretty good." "Thank you. This was supposed to be for Marinette, but it sounds like she really won't be coming." Evilustrator said, sounding depressed before shaking his head a bit. "Either way, it's still not finished. Not that anyone's gonna see it." He claimed as he walked to the edge and hopped onto the center of the boat. "What am I, a ghost? Let me see the rest." "Really? You want to see my work?" "Eh, call it collaborative learning. I learn from you, and if I get the chance, you'll learn something from me." Alix claimed as she shrugged before stepping over the ledge, now standing next to him. "You know what, sure." Evilustrator said before was about to draw on the pad, only for it to shut off immediately after the last of the light was gone. "Come on! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING!" "What? What's wrong?" Alix asked as she saw him yell into the night sky. "Nothing! I just need proper lighting to use my tablet." He stated as he then pulled down his visor over his eyes, causing it to light up and power on. He then began motioning his hand just over before making a perfect circle just above the Eiffel Tower and pointing at the center of it, causing it to turn into a small sun. "Voila!" "And the visor allows you to compensate for that? Cool." She said, making Evilustrator smile.
Minutes later, Evilustrator and Alix were sitting on a bench as the former played a melody by writing musical notes on his tablet. "You know, you could do a lot of good with powers like those. But instead, you're using them to harass Chloé and give yourself a better birthday party." She claimed, getting him to stop and look at her. "I just want Chloé to learn her lesson, and then I'll be more than happy to do some good. Though I'm not sure where to begin." Evilustrator claimed as he became sheepish halfway as he then proceeded to tap his pen on the tablet aim. "Hm, I have an idea of how. Here, let me use your pen and show you." Alix asked as she then heard something subtly land behind them. "Well… I don't know." He said hesitantly as he thought about the request. "Alright, but please be careful. If it breaks, I'll lose my powers." Evilustrator told her as he extended his arm, getting a nod from her before she gently grabbed the pen and began drawing something on his tablet. Moments later, two rockets appeared from thin air and launched themselves into the Eiffel Tower, causing random parts of it to blow off. "What're you doing?!" Evilustrator demanded while in shock as he jerked his arm away! "Just showing you how easy your new powers can destroy or build. Go ahead, repair the damage that was caused to the tower." Alix said calmly as she held out the pen with an open hand, letting him take it back before he skeptical grabbed the pen and began fixing what happened. "Well, what do you think?" "That… felt…" Evilustrator paused as he gave it some thought before telling her. "Pretty good actually." "See? You can use your powers to rebuild and create for the better." She tells him as he began to emit a black mist, the same that came from Horrors. Suddenly, Evilustrator began to shout in pain as Alix jumped back and off the bench! "Nathaniel, what's wrong?!" "He's developing a huge amount of Inga!" Armed Noir shouted, getting their attention! "Y-you're working with hi-AH!" "Less talking, what do we do?!" She told Evilustrator, who was now on his knees and holding his chest, before asking Armed Noir! "I know that this happens with objects, and that you just need to prick it with a blade. But I think we need to break the object!" Armed Noir told Alix urgently as she rushed over to Evilustrator and yanked the pen out of his hand! "Sorry, Nate! It's for your own good." She told him before snapping the pen in two, letting the Akuma go free as Evilustrator reverted back into Nathaniel, who was now able to steady his breathing without the pain. "Now how are we gonna capture it without Ladybug?" "Don't! Just destroy it!" Zaruba told Armed Noir, who then clinched his right hand and sprouted his claws! "Cataclysm!" He shouted as he then swung his arm, launching the blades! As two of them missed, the third hit its mark as the Akuma began to break down and evaporate into a black mist.
Meanwhile, Hawkmoth, still on the building, began to hold his head in pain. "AHH! What is this?!" He shouted as the pain slowly passed. "What the hell was that?! A side effect?" He theorized aggravatedly before he shaked his head a bit, when he was suddenly kicked in the side by someone, making him buckle as he held his side before getting his legs swept up, now making him fall. Just as he recovered and opened his eyes, he saw a blade made of ice coming at him, forcing him to roll out of the way as the attacker stops his blade right where Hawkmoth's brooch would've been! As he rolled onto one knee, Hawkmoth saw Glaceak holding a double-bladed sword made of ice. "So, the one who stole the White Tiger Miraculous." "I'm the one who liberated it and the Kwami inside from your colleague. And now I'm taking back Nooroo and throwing you in prison for what you've done." The latter told the former as he separated his swords and pointed one of them at Hawkmoth, who was getting back up.

"If you think you can take me on by yourself, then you're a bigger fool than you realize." He told Glaceak as he pulled on the handle of his cane, revealing a rapier-like blade hidden away. Just then, Hawkmoth rushed Glaceak, attempting to thrust the blade into him, only for him to miss as his sword was parried into the ground before Glaceak rolled over his back, allowing him to get behind and strike his back!
(A blade hunting the darkness, accompanied by thunder! (Born to fight just right now, can nothing hold me back? Out of control! The engraved tribal… I feel my lineage! (Here I am, here I am. No fear. Try to wipe out-) Horror!)
Feeling the sting from the blade, Hawkmoth turned around while ducking underneath a second slash! He then kicked Glaceak away a few meters, causing him to skid across the ground! "White Out!" Glaceak shouted as he breathed out a blizzard, blinding Hawkmoth long enough to get in close and stab his foot with one of his swords before attempting to grab his Miraculous, only to be stopped when Hawkmoth slashed his hand and then tried to impale his face! Fortunately, Glaceak grabbed the blade just before it could touch his mask, before moving it away and headbutting Hawkmoth!
(The world is at the time of its end! (Wild! Wild! I wanna get wild!) Encircled by a trap! (Wild! Wild! I wanna get wild!) Dead center in the dark! (Wild! Wild! I wanna get wild!) Drive in a shout!)
In an abandoned building, Fire Claw was confronting a terrified man, wearing an all black attire with a metal necklace and a thin scarf, when the latter's eyes flashed red before exploding into a large, dark blue Horror with wings and chains wrapped around its body as Fire Claw becomes Zen before the latter begins deflecting strikes from the former before manipulating its right hand lower and stabbing it into the floor, leaving it open for a dropkick! This throws the Horror back as a chunk was ripped off before it tried to fly away until Zen jumped and began pummeling it, causing it to lose control while thrashing around!
(SACRED POWER! THE POWER OF POWER! OH DANGEROUS POWER! (Smash those guys…)!)
After jumping off, near his sword, Zen pulled out a red Madō Lighter before lighting it and holding the flame close to the skull on his chest, causing it to be absorbed. Then suddenly, his hands erupted in flames before shooting two balls of fire at the Horror's back, burning off its wings! He then grabbed his sword, causing the blade to be engulfed in flames, and charged the recovering Horror before slicing it in threes!
(GET MORE POWER! THE POWER OF POWER! OH FINAL POWER(WITH YOUR DIVINE BLADE!)!)
With Glaceak, now Zero, he clashed blades with Hawkmoth before the latter's sword snapped on the second strike, allowing the former to slash his chest! He then kicked Hawkmoth off the building before running over the ledge, dragging his swords as they combusted into blue flames before jumping above and throwing an X-shaped wave of fire down to Hawkmoth, forcing him to the ground faster before being engulfed in a brief burst of fire!
Landing near Hawkmoth, Zero walked over and reached down to grab his Miraculous. Suddenly, a whole swarm of bats appeared, blinding Zero for a second before he swatted them away and saw that Hawkmoth was gone! "DAMN!" He yelled out before disengaging his armor. Just then, as he was about to sheath his blades when he noticed the drying blood on the edges, getting an intrigued hum out of him.
(The next morning)
Back in school, in the locker room, Sabrina and Marinette were standing next to Chloè, who was standing in front of her open locker. "Alright Chloé, Marinette and I have been talking last night and, despite her claiming it's a bad idea, I want to give you a second chance at being a real friend." Sabrina told Chloé, getting her to turn around with a smirk. "Well in that case, I'll happily-" "If you promise to do your own work. Starting with helping us finish the project. Not 'having us finish it', 'helping to finish it'." She added, wiping her smile off and replacing it with shock. "What?! That is ridiculous, utterly-" "Alright. Then I hope you enjoy being held back a grade." "Okay, okay!" Chloé tells Sabrina before sighing in defeat. "Twist my arm, why don't you? I'll… do my share of the project!" She begrudgingly said with a grumble as Sabrina smiled before she and Marinette walked over to the latter's locker. "I still can't believe you're giving her another chance." "I have to. You gave me a chance, so why not Chloé? Who knows, maybe it'll work." She told her before walking to her locker, leaving Marinette alone. "I hope you're right, Sabrina." She muttered before grabbing what she needed and closing her locker.
"Once again, we were so close to uncovering Hawkmoth's identity, and we're only able to get bits and pieces." Adrien stated as he and Zack stood outside Ms. Bustier's classroom before anyone else. "The only good thing from this one is that we finally have a blood sample. Granted it's dried and burnt, but it's better than nothing." "All we can do now is wait until the sample is confirmed and strike." Zack and Zaruba said as Adrien nodded in agreement before they headed inside.
