Inko and Hisashi Midoriya knew that their children were destined for greatness.
When the twins Izuku and Izumi were born, the newly-christened parents could see that they were special. The fact that the two had held hands and never let go of each other was a testament to their future sibling bond.
In a world where superpowers like those in comic books were the norm, it was clear that Izuku and Izumi were destined to inherit that which 80% of humanity had also received from the next step in genetic evolution.
The Midoriyas just never expected how this would turn out but it would lead to a new miraculous story not just for their family, but society as they knew it as a whole...

Izuku and Izumi, who were both four years old, were at daycare. Currently with them was their best friend Katsuki Bakugou and right now, they were in a heated argument about, what else, Heroes.
"All-Might could totally beat Best Jeanist! He's the #1 Pro Hero for a reason, you dumbass Deku!"
"Well, Best Jeanist could trap All-Might by binding him by his cloth fibers!" Izuku argued back. "Sure All-Might is super awesome and strong but Best Jeanist isn't #4 for nothing!"
"You're both wrong! Endeavor has enough firepower to toast them both!" Izumi argued against both of them.
The rest of the kids at the daycare were just watching the three-way argument with rapt attention. It was like watching a slapstick cartoon in real life for them. Of course, it devolved into childish slaps between the three before something shocking happened.
It was at that moment Katsuki's Quirk decided to come in, releasing a small explosion that knocked Izuku back. The thing is, Izuku somehow released a similar explosion that sent Katsuki reeling as well.
Izumi, who was in the middle, ended up tanking both explosions when her entire body turned into metal followed by her inhaling the residue smoke from the explosion and yet not choking from it.
As the teacher ran to check on the three, they all stared at each other in shock as Izumi suddenly sneezed, releasing jets of fire from her nose while Izuku and Katsuki looked at their hands and the tiny firecracker-like explosions popping across their fingers.
"WHAT THE HECK?!"

"Well, first of all, congratulations are in order."
After confirming the three kids were ok, the director of the daycare called their parents to take them to their local Quirk Specialist. After several hours of tests, the Bakugous were called back first but Mitsuki insisted on having the children's results revealed together.
"These children have been placed with quite the powerful Quirks!" The doctor said. "Little Katsuki has inherited a mixture of both of your Quirks, Mr. and Mrs. Bakugou, being able to ignite a nitroglycerin-like substance he sweats from his palms."
"But how did Deku do the same thing?" Katsuki asked.
"I'll get to that. Next is Little Izumi, I don't know how to explain it, but she's able to harness the elements in their various forms. Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, Ice, it's all there in the package deal!" The doctor continued. "Mr. and Mrs. Midoriya, do your family have any Elemental Quirks?"
"Well, my Quirk is [Fire Breath] but my Great-Aunt had a [Waterbending] Quirk that she used as a Pro Hero," Hisashi explained.
Inko nodded. "And from the records I still have of my family, my Great-Great Grandfather had a [Photokinesis] Quirk."
"Hold up, that still leaves Izuku, what can he do?" Mitsuki asked.
"Well, Little Izuku has the most potent Quirk of all..." The doctor chuckled. "Not only can he copy Quirks, but he can also take, give, sense, and fuse them together! He also has the ability to boost Quirks!"
"What?!" Katsuki barked. "That shit's way too OP! Deku needs to be nerfed!"
"Come on, Kaachan! I can make your Quirk even stronger and cooler now!" Izuku said. "And so can Mom, Dad, Izumi-Nee, Auntie Mitsuki, and Uncle Masaru!"
"That's sweet of you, Izuku, but my Quirk isn't really all that special by itself." Masaru chuckled bashfully.
"Now, I've made a list of various exercises and tests you can each perform at home, but first," The doctor turned to the three youths. "Have you kids given any thought to what you'd like to name your Quirks?"
"[Explosion]!" Katsuki declared.
"[Elementalist]!" Izumi beamed.
"[Quirk Crafter]!" Izuku said.

"Izuku, sweetie, we need to be clear with you about something," Inko said gently to her son. "You have an amazing Quirk but you need to make sure to keep the 'taking' part of it secret."
"What about the copying?"
"Well, that's alright. But people don't tend to accept a power like that as 'Heroic'." Hisashi said. "You need to use this power responsibly. You want to be a hero like All-Might, right?
Izuku beamed and nodded. Hisashi chuckled as he ruffled his son's hair while Inko giggled, glad to see her family was doing alright.
"So, kids, how about katsudon for dinner to celebrate?"
"YEAH!" Izuku and Izumi cheered happily.

As Izuku grew up with Izumi and Katsuki, he had come to see the ups and downs of having a Quirk like his.
While a few kids came to see if Izuku could upgrade their Quirks or make changes to them, others shunned Izuku, calling him a thief in the making and a leech. Thankfully, Katsuki was there to scare those naysayers off.
Izumi had taken a particular interest in her own Quirk and Izuku had even helped her better understand how it functioned. Turned out, Izumi could not just harness the natural elements but also mix and match them together to make new ones, such as fusing Fire, Gas, and Sound to create explosions just like Katsuki could. The kids had plenty of fun fusing the different elements and seeing what they could do.
Izuku had also taken it upon himself to upgrade his parents' Quirks. Inko now had full-blown Telekinesis and Hisashi could manipulate fire in any way he wanted, not just breathe it out. They had renamed their Quirks [Telekinesis] and [Pyrokinesis] to adapt to this. Mitsuki and Masaru had turned down Izuku's offer to upgrade their own Quirks, saying they were okay with what they had.
Izuku knew there were struggles with having a power like his, but as long as he kept his head held high and with his friends and family by his side, he could overcome any challenge.
And so begins the story of Izuku Midoriya's journey to becoming the greatest hero.

For those confused as to why we reuploaded Vindicated by One, Heart for All, there's a reason for that:
Mrotrax and I kind of flew a little too close to the sun, which made things too complicated and we couldn't figure out where to go from where we were. Hopefully, this new start will be just the fix we need to make sure this story gets properly off the ground.
We will also be changing the TV Tropes page in accordance with this new re-upload. We hope this one proves better success than the last.
Take it away from here, Mrotrax.

Yeah…sorry fans and readers….
While KML and I adore the cast of friends Izuku had and did indeed have big ideas for the story, the getting to said ideas was trickier than we imagined and we felt that it was best to swallow our pride, admit we were too ambitious and try again.
And not to worry, we do still intend for the friends to pop up, but we'll have them scattered about to make the group easier to manage. Also, we hope to actually SHOW and NOT TELL more this around.
