Chapter 1:

Jackie and Jade have arrived at Odd World, with the Smiling Critters. "How's CraftyCorn doing," asks Jackie.

"She's pretty tired from the nightmares she keeps getting," says Jade.

CraftyCorn has been getting nightmares about her stalker, CatNap.

"Well, maybe Odd World will help her... is that man trying to break in," asks Jackie.

Jackie and Jade then approach the old man. "Oh, hello there!"

"Who are you," asks Jade.

"Call me the Technician!"

"And why are you trying to break in," asks Jackie.

"Oh, that's not important, but I might need your help to find and activate an SOS light," says the Technician.

"Only if you told us why," says Jackie, "we are not breaking the law for..."

"Well, I see you have returned," says Red.

"Hello, Oswald," says the Technician.

Jackie, Jade, and the Smiling Critters are all confused.

"Blue, Green, attack!"

"This is a problem," says the Technician, "alright! Listen, monsters will be coming after us and we have to collect 25 lightbulbs to make a signal for help! Now, come on!"

They then heard the monsters. "I think we better do what he says," says DogDay.

...

"What daws these m'rtals beest," says Blue.

"Yeah, and they is pretty dumb too," says Green.

Blue and Green then start moving.

...

Jackie finds some lightbulbs, but then he runs into Blue and Green. "Um... hello," Jackie awkwardly says.

Blue and Green then come after Jackie, and he's forced to fight back to defend himself. They try to grab him, but Jackie grabs some corndogs and uses them as weapons against these two. Jackie manages to knock them both on their backs. The two then ran away. Jackie was relieved.

...

"Explain to me why you two were beaten by an ordinary man," says Red.

"Did we menshun he had corndogs," asks Green.

Red was not amused.

...

The Technician's able to activate the light. "Now, we have to go into the laser plaza," says the Technician. He then sees Blue. "This was a mistake! We can use the battering ram to bust a hole in the wall to escape!"

...

"Well, looks like Yellow's getting over his stage fright," says Red.
