Chapter 18

"See he is a weakling I knew this was a waste of time!" a voice shouted.

"Yamu will you shut the fuck up!" shouted the second voice. Hearing the two voices caused Hercule to moan as he reluctantly started to regain consciousness. Once he came to see the two figures who were once on his TV he could now make sense of them. They were two balled men with large M's tattooed on their foreheads.

"Well Mr. Satan, this is your lucky day. My name is Spopovich and this is Yamu. Together we have been summoned to give you what our master calls as unlimited power but in order to receive such power you have to submit your mind to our master and allow him to control you." he smirked at the hairy man. "Well? Do you submit to your new master in exchange for power?" he asked.

Hercule thought for a minute. "So wait, you're saying that you'll give me power in exchange for complete control of my mind?" he asked.

The two balled men smiled evilly before nodding.

Hercule thought back to how easily Vegeta and Gohan could overpower him…even his own daughter was showing a strength that had started to surpass his own. The images began playing over and over in his mind until he couldn't stand it any longer. "Do it," he said, clutching his fists.

Gohan had trouble sleeping ever since he and Videl were in observation. It had been about a week since the whole incident where he and Videl had their seizures. Both of them were eventually let go, leaving in perfect health as if nothing happened. He was worried because ever since that day he had been having nightmares about her being killed and the dream always ended with him not being able to save her. This caused him great stress and worry. Surely there was some kind of reason why this was happening. 'Maybe it's tied into our bond? Vegeta did say during the bonding process it's normal for senses to be sharpened' He thought as he got dressed to start his day of training. The demi saiyan decided to rest his body the days leading up to the WMAT choosing to train his mind instead so he began meditating. Gohan also wanted to use his free time to take his girlfriend out on their first date. He just had to figure out where to take her. 'Lets see…should I take her to the movies? No Angela blackmailed me and it was a whole thing so that might not be a good idea…Sparing? She does like that but we spar all the time…' he was having difficulty figuring out just what he should do.

'Why not take her out to dinner?' asked a voice which Gohan recognized immediately.

He smiled as he opened his eyes looking towards the sky, "Piccolo! That's a great idea!" He shouted aloud, causing him to fall on the ground breaking his concentration. He pulled out his phone and started texting her.

Gohan: Hey, Vi.

Videl: Hey, Gohan. What's up?

Gohan: I was wondering if you'd wanna go out with me? I was thinking we could go out to a nice dinner? …

Videl: Yes! I'd love to go, babe. When and Where?

Gohan: Are you free tonight?

Videl: Yes!

Gohan: Perfect. Can you be ready by 8? I can pick you up from Erasa's house.

Videl: Okay! Sounds good!

Gohan: Cool, I'll see you later, baby. After he sent the last text he put his phone in his pocket. Smiling, he jumped to his feet. "Thanks Piccolo!" he shouted at his teacher, knowing he could hear him with his super Namekian hearing.

The namekian smirked, "Yeah sure thing kid. Don't forget to dress up and look nice.' he said telepathically.

"Right!" Gohan said blushing as he took off to the sky. He was so excited it would be their first official date as a couple. He rushed home and got in the shower. Once he was all finished showering he washed his hair and then stepped out of the shower. His hair wasn't as unruly as his dad's but he did have to put hair cream in it to help it hold shape so he did just that. After he fixed his hair he went to his room to start getting dressed. He put on a black button up shirt with dark slim fitted slacks and he paired it all with black doc martin boots. Once he was all finished he checked the time it was 7pm. He figured he'd pick her up in a jet copter instead of flying so he stepped outside and unencapsulated his ride. As he began to make his way into the jet he was stopped by a voice.

"Oh and just where do you think you're going?" said his mother. The demi saiyan turned around and a sweat droplet went down the side of his forehead.

"H-hey mom," he said. "Sorry I didn't say anything but I'm gonna take Videl out on a date, nothing too fancy just to a nice restaurant. It's our first official date." Chichi noticed what he was wearing.

"Oh my god you look so handsome son! Wait, can I please take a quick picture!?" she asked excitedly. 'I need to scrapbook this!'

The young demi saiyan sighed but complied and allowed his mother to take a few quick pictures. "Hey mom I have to hurry and pick Vi up or I'll be late and I promise I won't stay out too long," he said as he climbed into his jet copter.

"Bye son! Have fun!" she said, waving after him as he took off into the sky.

It didn't take Gohan long to get to Erasa's house and once he arrived he rang the doorbell which didn't take long for a response because as soon as he did so the teenage blonde girl opened the door eagerly letting the demi saiyan inside. "Gohan!" She shouted as she smiled at the boy. "Long time no see! And you look nice! Just wait until you see her!" she gushed.

He smiled at his friend, "Thank you," he said. "She's upstairs?" he asked as he looked at the time it was getting close to 8 but he didn't want to rush her. He knew that much about women to know that it was rude and that women take longer to get ready then men do.

"Yeah she's still getting ready, she should be finished soon," She said as she motioned him to sit down. "Here have a seat," she offered to which he accepted sitting down on her couch. "Would you like anything to drink?" she asked politely as to kill the silence between them.

He shook his head, "Sure I'll take some water," he said.

"You sure are gonna need it," she muttered as she walked off back to the outfit she gave her friend. 'As soon as he sees her he'll be drooling,' she mentally laughed as she thought back to her helping her friend pick out an outfit for the evening.

"Huh?" he asked, not quite hearing her as she walked off towards the kitchen.

"Oh nothing," she said, returning with a cup of water for him which he started to drink. They both sat in silence for a few minutes before they heard footsteps coming down the stairs. They both turned their heads to see the Raven as she made her way down the stairs. She was wearing an all black fitted one piece pant set that showed off every curve. It was also strapless showing off quite a bit of cleavage and she paired it well with plain black flats.

Gohan was in awe as he watched his girlfriend. Her hair had been straightened and was in a half up half down style with her hair pulled back it really brought out her features. Once they pulled up to the sushi place they quickly went inside. "Hello, I have a reservation. The last name is Son," Gohan said to the host.

The host began looking on his screen for the name, "Lets see last name Son ... .ah! I see you right this way." he smiled, ushering the young couple to their table. Gohan requested for them to have a booth so it could be a little bit more intimate. The host waited for them to seat themselves and then laid their venues down on the table. "Your server will be right with you." He said leaving the two of them.

Videl looked around the restaurant 'I've never been here before,' she thought blushing lightly.

Maybe he should've asked her where she would've liked to go rather than try to surprise her. "I-i hope this is okay….and to your liking?" He said even though it sounded like more of a question.

The demi saiyan smiled, "I'm glad." he said as he looked towards their server who had arrived at their table with two waters in his hand. He carefully placed them on the table.

"Hello, my name is Sam," he said as he bowed at the couple. "Are you all ready to place an order or would you like a few more minutes to look over the menu?" he asked as he began taking out a pen and paper.

Gohan and his girlfriend wore a heavy blush as neither one of them bothered to look at the menu, "We need a few minutes please," he said.

"Okay no problem," the server said as he walked away. The couple began opening their menus to browse through the food options.

A few minutes went by before the raven finally spoke up, "I think I will go with the yellowtail sushi," she said after she finished viewing the menu. She closed the book and looked at her boyfriend awaiting a response.

He smiled Looking back at her, "I think I'll have the salmon rolls." he said as their server came back to the table.

"You guys ready?" He asked. The couple nodded and gave him their orders. "Anything to drink?" He asked. Gohan looked at Videl waiting for her answer.

"Coke is fine," she said looking at Gohan.

"I'll have the same as well," he said as their server scribbled on his book. Afterwards the server took their menus and left to go put their food orders in. "It's about what happened to us while we were unconscious. I keep having nightmares." he said and before he could finish he was cut off by Videl's thoughts.

"I have them too," she confessed as she felt the jet take off. She really did her best to try not to think about them but they were causing her to lose sleep and she could only imagine that Gohan would be feeling the same. "The dream always starts off with me fighting and it always seems to end with-" she paused, taking a deep breath.

"With you dying." The demi saiyan finished not taking his eyes off of the sky. Hearing those words made his heart sink in the worst way possible. He'd been dreaming about watching her die over and over while not being able to step in and help her. He wasn't sure what any of this meant. Was their bond trying to tell or warn them of something? One thing was for certain he knew that he had to keep her safe. He looked over to her and saw the shock in her face and heard her thoughts.

"Yeah," Gohan said, nodding. He could tell she was scared of them but the only thing he could do was reassure her that everything was going to be okay. "I want to take you back to my place if that's okay?" he asked. "I want to talk more about this when we're settled."

"Where is everyone?" Videl asked as she made her way into the kitchen.

She pushed her hands together and in-between a yellow light was glowing from them. She then shot a yellow and purple beam towards the alien yelling something no one but Piccolo could hear. The alien couldn't stop her blast and it ended up impaling it leaving it dead.

Gohan flew to his girlfriend, "Wow Vi that was amazing!" He said as he watched her dust herself off. Hearing his voice caused her to turn around. They both felt a sense of dejavu but ignored the feeling.

"Wha- Gohan? What are you?" Was all she able to say before feeling a familiar sharp pain pierce her chest.

"Videl!" He tried crying out but it was too late because she was gone.

"Come Kibito let us prepare to travel to earth. We will be enrolling in TWMAT," said Shin as he walked towards his pupil.

"Yes Supreme Kai," he said as they both prepared their trip to earth.
