Chapter 3:
The Archivist's train stops at a town. "Since you're not a very chatty person, maybe someone here can give us some answers," says Max.
"Which one of you is the legendary monster hunter?" The Archivist steps forward.
"I'm guessing it might be this mime," says Gwen.
"I'm Paul. I knew my dad would get help. Are these your sidekicks?"
The Archivist shakes his head no. "Oh, is that your bait?"
"Hey," says Grey.
"We just met this guy, and Grey is not our bait, he's more like a part of the team," says Ben, "so, what's the deal with the Little Engine that Could Hurt People?"
"Choo-Choo Charles," says Paul, "some sort of demonic hellspawn in the form of a train-spider thing. We have a plan to destroy that monster, but we're going to need the Archivist's help! You must travel the island, talk to different people, and get keys to the mines! Within those mines are Charles' eggs! But be careful, a mining company run by Warren Charles III, no relations, has taken those mines over!"
"Why do I have the feeling he's not digging for gold," says Max.
"He might a world domination type," says Grey.
"Mr. Archive monster hunter guy," says Ben, "we can help!"
The Archivist tells Ben no.
"He's a professional," says Paul, "what can you-"
Ben turns to Wildvine. "Plenty," says Ben.
The Archivist still says no and walks away.
"I'm guessing he works alone," says Gwen.
...
Choo-Choo Charles was searching. "Once I find those eggs, I will become more powerful than ever before and then nothing will stop me!" Choo-Choo Charles then laughs.
