Chapter 4:
The Tennysons had to wait with Paul. "Sorry about your dad," says Max.
"He and the Archivist were good friends," says Paul.
"We should be out there," says Ben.
"Personally, I'm glad we don't have to face that spider thing," says Gwen.
"I think Ben might be right," says Grey.
"Whose side are you on, Grey," asks Gwen.
"I agree that your powers could be very helpful in this, but the Archivist is usually a loner in these kinds of things," says Paul.
"I'll be outside," says Ben.
...
While outside, Ben decides to find those old mines himself as XLR8. He then heads off...
...
Ben finds the mines, but he can't get in. "Right, the Archivist has to find the keys," says Ben. Then, some men in masks come out with guns. "Uh... you guys with the Forever Knights?" They start shooting at him, so Ben's forced to run away.
...
Ben's running, but the Omnitrix starts to time out. He then finds the Archivist's train and jumps on. The watch times out. The Archivist sees him. "So... this the train to the Shady Rest?"
...
Forced to take Ben along, the Archivist stops to grab the first key. Ben was on the lookout for Charles. "So far, no sign of Caboose-Butt," says Ben. The Archivist has the key and gets in the train and starts it. Ben looks. "He's coming!"
"There's only room for one train on this island," says Charles.
The Archivist fires the gun at Charles. Ben tries to get the watch working, but it's not ready. Charles then leaves. "When you think about it, it's pretty easy to scare him away," says Ben.
The two then continue on their journey.
