Chapter 8:
Stu, Drew, and Betty return. "Did you find the remote," asks Didi.
"We know what it is," says Stu, "it's in a cane, but we grabbed the wrong cane!"
Tommy sees the repaired bridge. "What happened there," asks Tommy.
"We had to sacrifice that bridge to destroy the original Charles," says Paul, "why?"
"Because I have an idea," says Tommy.

Dr. Virus was riding Mecha-Hell Charles. "You will not escape my brilliance," says Dr. Virus.
...
Everyone was standing in front of the bridge. "Tommy, there's something I want to tell you," says Kimi.
"I know," says Tommy.
"Really," asks Kimi.
"Yeah, I've been meaning to get rid of that spinach in my teeth," says Tommy, "but thanks for wanting to tell me that."
Kimi just shrugs.
As soon as the train comes, everyone gets out of the way and the train enters the bridge, which explodes. "NO," shouts Dr. Virus, who falls with the train...

They all look and see Mecha-Hell Charles with the real Hell Charles. Both dead and Dr. Virus dead with them. "I kind of feel bad for him," says Dil, "I mean, he did this in the first place because everyone laughed at him."
"You're right," says Paul, "I hope he finds peace."
...
A rescue boat comes and the families aboard it and return home. "Farewell, Friends," says Paul.
"Thanks," says Chuckie, "I may never trust a train again! Bye!" They then take off to return home.
