"They thought you were on Crovan's side?"

"Doctor, you were a soldier? A spy?"
"Nor tinker, nor tailor. I was visiting friends when Thynktan raiders swept the village. We were all civilians."
"How awful! What happened to your friends?"
"We're still in touch."
