"Just forget it, Runo." Dan responded. "You don't have to go to the dance with me. I'll just ask another girl." That hurts me. It hurts me a lot.

"No!" I quickly respond, almost panic like. He gives me a confusing look. "We can go together. As friends, right?"

He just nods as he takes another blunt. "Why are girls so complicated?" he whispers, but I can still hear him.

I hate this situation.

I need to find Julie.

"Dan, I need to talk to Julie. Will you mind, if I leave you for a while?"

He shakes his head. "Go. I'm finishing this and I'm going back to the party." He takes another drag and cooly lets the smoke out through his mouth. So attractive.

After finally accepting the fact, I like him and want him to be more than just a friend, everything he does is so hot. Even smoking, which is still bad for his health btw.

I realized I liked him weeks ago. No one knows, of course. I feel like Alice wouldn't be so supportive of two of her friends wanting the same guy. For Julie, you probably know it won't end well. It looks like I'm stealing her crush.

I'm a bad friend, I know. I hate myself for this.

It was tough finding Julie with so many people around. I saw Ren and Ace looking upset – I guess neither got that ticket.

"There you are girl. I was wondering where you were." Julie calls out for me. Fucking finally.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I directly ask her. She nods but doesn't move an inch. "Alone."

She gave me a look before excusing herself to her other friends. Julie is a very sociable and extroverted person, so it makes sense she has many friends.

We went outside and I noticed Dan wasn't there anymore. Thank God.

"What's up?"

"Are you really serious about Dan?" I questioned her.

She nods. "Yeah, sooner or later he's gonna notice me liking him. I might even ask him to the school's dance that's happening in few weeks."

"Julie, he just told me he told many people he's taking me to the dance." I blurred out.

"What? You said no, right?"

I stared at her for a minute. How doesn't she see that he only sees her as a friend. "I told him he should've ask me first, but I didn't say no." I shook my head.

"Why didn't you? You know how much I like him…"

"Julie, I don't know how to tell you this without being direct…" I take a deep breath. Here it goes. "He doesn't like you."

"He will, after he takes me instead of you to the dance… I just need to spent time with him, and you'll see." She responds confidently.

You can see the sadness in my eyes. What am I going to do? She's not backing down. He's going to hurt her feelings by rejecting her. And he's gonna be pissed at me by rejecting him yet again. I have a strong feeling he's slowly losing hope about us and if I don't straight things up with Julie, I might lose the most amazing guy ever.

"Julie, I won't reject him again." I finally say.

"What? Why not?" I shocked her.

"Because, um-"

"You like him, don't you?" she cuts me. Honestly understandable. "I knew it. I saw how you like the attention you get from him, how he compliments you very chance he gets, how he drives you to school, how he looks at you during practice…"

"Wouldn't you fall for a guy like that?" I snapped. Julie got taken back, I hurt her I can tell. Fuck.

"You're supposed to be my best friend."

"I know…"

There was silence.

I never thought we would be in this situation, like ever. I hate how I've fallen for Dan's charms like that, but I did. I'm going to lose my best friend over this and the thought of that makes me tear up.

"Let's find Dan and make him choose."

No way she just said that. It won't end well for her.

"Julie, stop with this nonsense. You had too much to drink, we need solve this when both of us are sober." She just stares at me, emotionlessly.

Without any warning, she leaves me and runs back to the house.

NO. FUCKING. WAY.

This is bad! Bad! Bad! Bad!

"JULIE! I ran after her.

I can't see her. There're so many people. No no no no no.

Where's Dan? I can't see him either.

"Julie! Where are you?" I yell. No responds. "Have you seen Julie Makimoto?" I ask random drunk girl. She just shakes her head. "Julie! Julie!"

Wait, I think I see Dan. Laughing with Ren, Ace and Shun. Okay, I found him.

I just need to find Julie, before she makes big mist-

No, I see her getting towards Dan. "Julie! Julie! Dan!"

It's too late, I see her with Dan and the boys. "Hey Danny!"

"Hey, Jules. It looks like you had too much to drink." Dan responds with a grin.

I barge in. I turn to Julie. "Don't do this, please I beg you."

"What's going on?" Ace asks, dumbfounded about the whole situation.

Julie really looked like she didn't care as she pushed me out of her way. The next thing she did really shocked me.

She kissed Dan. On the lips.

She held his face with her hands, so he couldn't pull back.

Dan really didn't expect this, you can tell… his eyes were wide opened, he tried to pull back, but she had strong grip on him.

All the guys watched the scene with the same shocked face as me.

No one expected that. Not from her.

She lets go of the brunette and he pulls out almost immediately.

"WHAT THE FUCK, JULIE?"

I'm speechless. What is she thinking?

"FUCK YOU DUDE. AT MY OWN PARTY?!" we hear someone shout. Seconds later Billy approached us with the angriest face I've ever seen.

"She kissed me. I have witnesses." Dan fires back. Then he turns to the silver hair girl. "What were you thinking?"

"Do you like me?" she questions him.

"NO! You're just a friend, that's it. What made you think I liked you?" Dan answers the question, I already knew the answer to.

Julie, you stupid girl.

"Do you like her?" she points to me. Dan turns his head towards me, and you can tell he didn't expect that question.

"Well I-I…" he started, his face getting redder as the crowd of people who were watching the scene kept getting bigger. I know he's embarrassed.

"Julie, stop questioning him in front of all those people. We should go somewhere private." I cut in, honestly, it's embarrassing for me too.

She ignores me. "Well? Do you like her?"

Dan takes a deep breath, before saying "enough of this. I'm getting out of here." He leaves us, all upset and embarrassed. I wanna run after him, but I need to deal with Julie first.

I angrily say: "Look what you've done. Let's get you home and we're talk about this when you're sober."

Julie just shakes her head. I noticed a few tears going down her cheek. I feared this would happen. I wrapped my arms around her and tried to calm her down.

"I knew it was gonna happen. I just didn't think it would hurt this bad." She quietly whispers.

"What is done, is done. Let's get you home, so you get some sleep." I assure her. I looked up to the guys who stayed and awkwardly watched the whole thing. "Any of you sober enough to drive us home?"

Ace nods and shows his keys.

"Let's go."

I must say something… any of you getting weird dm's from "artists" wanting to collab and make art? Like it's obvious it's a scam, but how can you scam people like that? It's weird.

Anyways… I would really appreciate a review. Hopefully kusaki writers, fans, enthusiasts, whatever you wanna call it didn't die down. I'm seeing less and less people on here and some are even deleting their stories. Sad :(
