Neb: What can I say accept for I don't own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, Beyblade Rise, or any other forms of Beyblade. This is just an OC fanfic, starring my OC Domori Venger. Domori had defeated his other selves and built a new Beyblade, Shining Draconids. Now it is time to head back to town and face off against Arthur. But what challenges will he face along the way?
Domori walked in through the front door of his house. He was surprised to see Sin was waiting for him along with Valt and Dante.
"Domori, you're back," Dante grinned as he ran up to him. "Are you ok? Where have you been?"
"I was over at Aiger's place," Domori explained. "Rebuilding my Draconids."
"So you managed to fix Meteor Draconids, that's great," Valt grinned.
"Not exactly," Domori shook his head. "Even if I remelted down the meteorite used for my blade, the blue crystal wouldn't have been easy to fix, so I built a new one with Naru's help."
"Oh Aiger's sister," Valt nodded. "So then Aiger wasn't even home was he?"
"I hadn't seen Aiger since my Draconids broke," Domori shook his head. "I heard that he lost to Arthur right after me."
"Yeah," Valt nodded.
"My Dragon was broken also," Dante remembered as he looked down. "I challenged Arthur right after Delta did. Delta's Diabolos was also broken."
"Arthur is changing the game we love," Domori growled. "That's why he has to be stopped. No one should have to go through having their blade broken, no matter how weak or strong. The first time I lost my Mighty Draconids, it was because I was pushing it too hard, facing too many strong opponents at once. But this time, we're up against someone who has gone out of their way to break his opponent's Beyblades."
"Do you want to tell Domori about Gwyn?", Sin spoke up to Dante.
Dante looked down and then nodded. "I trained Gwyn how to use a blade, I thought we were friends. But Gwyn only wanted to learn what Arthur could do. The last time I faced Gwyn, he was trying to break my blade also."
"But he didn't succeed," Domori figured. "That means this incarnation of Dragon was built with the possibility of shattering in mind."
Dante grinned before revealing his Command Dragon. "This Dragon is way more powerful than Ace was."
Domori smiled back at Dante before revealing Shinning Draconids. "And my Shinning Draconids puts Meteor and Abyss Draconids to shame as well."
"Hey it's spikes reminds me of Mighty Draconids," Valt remembered. "Let me guess, there's springs loaded behind them."
"It's got a few more tricks than Mighty Draconids," Domori assured. "With all the data I've gathered from all of you, I've created a Beyblade that gets stronger during battle. Thanks to Valt discovering the Hyper Flux anyways."
Dante and Sin stared at Domori surprised, but Valt only smiled at him.
"It's time then," Valt figured. "If you want to get to Arthur you have to beat me."
"And me," Dante nodded.
"Count me in as well," Sin grinned as she held up her Spriggan.
"I'll have to rematch Delta as well," Domori figured. "But Dante, I don't want to deter you. But, you have to face Gwyn eventually. Gwyn actively targeted you, and used you. You can't let that stand."
"I know," Dante admitted. "But, I really think Gwyn and I are still friends."
Domori looked at him confused but nodded. "Fair enough, just follow your instincts then. Anyways, I'd love to battle each of you, but I've spent a long time out in the woods. I'm going to shower and then go to bed."
"O-oh," Sin responded. "I guess that's reasonable."
"Ah really?", Dante responded frustrated.
"It's no big deal," Valt assured Danted. "We'll get to face him again eventually. Let's go find Delta, Shu, and Arman. We can let them know Domori's alright." Valt and Dante nodded and left the house leaving Sin and Domori.
"Hey Domori," Sin spoke up.
"What is it Sin?", Domori was already headed towards the washroom.
"Can we just talk for a moment? We should have done that in the first place, but then I threw that tournament together to try and reach you again."
"If you're blaming yourself for Meteor Draconids demise, don't bother. Arthur was the one responsible for the cheap shot."
"That's not it," Sin shook her head. "I know you've been letting your other personas take the wheel. Just so you wouldn't have to deal with other people. Am I talking to my brother right now or am I talking to one of his other personas?"
Domori stopped before entering the washroom and then closed the door before turning towards his sister. He sighed before brushing his hair out of his eye. "Sin... they are all your brother. We are all your brother. But yeah, you are talking to a persona that I conjured."
Sin's eyes widened as she stared at Domori who only smiled back at her. It was a warm smile, yet somehow menacing.
"I will say your brother did defeat his bored side, his beast side, and Shadow Domori. But I was a little much to handle."
"So you're the leader?"
"I am the one who threw Domori into his work, leaving you behind. But to be fair, I did offer to take you with me. With me, Komoto, and Crystal to face off against Lui. But you wanted to run instead. Practical sports were more fun to you than this game that was growing more popular by the day. I was conjured the day Domori lost his sister, though I didn't manifest until he was training Komoto and Crystal to be our other hands. Shadow Domori was being too mean, and our Beast mode only cared about fighting. So I became the more practical persona for your introverted brother."
Sin shook as she stepped back.
"There's no need to be afraid, I've been here this whole time. Training Delta, training Dante, Blading against Valt, against Free. As far as they are concerned I am the real Domori."
"But I knew it wasn't him," Sin growled. "The more battles you won, the more my brother started to show. Becoming more frustrated that he couldn't relive those days, against Lui, against Valt, against Aiger!"
"That's right, he was getting ready to take control and quit the game for good. His research wasn't panning out," Leader Domori explained. "Meteor Draconids was an impressive piece, but without an opponent who could actually get past it's healing mechanic, what was the point. It was just like when he upgraded Quality Drake with an extra loose fitting ring. But, I had a put a couple pieces in play that would ensure my survival. Delta and Dante. Delta was a challenger who was a prodigy and a genius, he was always trying to find ways to improve and strengthen his Diabolos. His goal to devour all other blades and his catchphrase about shining stars could only bring out Domori's passion for Beyblade. He was like another you. Competitive, serious, and full of fire. Dante was his own unique personality, always full of energy. Always up close and personal. Loves to battle and is hard to stay mad at. Should Delta ever fail and leave the game like you did, I can be certain that Dante's passion for this game will always bring Domori back to me!"
Sin held out her Battle Spriggan in front of herself. "Blade me, and if I win, you give me my brother back."
"What's the point in having him? He doesn't have the strength to defeat Arthur or Gwyn! Only I can do that. Domori was so weak from his isolation, from hurting his hands that he created not one but four separate personalities that can keep going for him. That can enjoy the game even though it's left a bitter taste in his mouth. He watched all those kids who use to play with him turn away because they're either scare of losing or just don't understand what makes this game fun! Then finally, one person shows up who gets it, and what happens. He get's locked away, and he breaks his hands against the door trying to free himself just to see that one person again. He sabotaged his only chance at a real connection, and created all of us to fill the void!"
Sin teared up and then wiped her eyes. "And you kept him from telling me about it. I didn't even know Domori was hurt until I got back into the game of Beyblade. I had to learn it through Komoto and Crystal! His own sister didn't even know Domori was hurt!'
Leader Domori growled and then pulled out his Shining Draconids. "Once I win, that will be it. I will be the dominant persona. Domori will only be called upon if we need new upgrades. But I will be calling the shots. Shadow Domori considered himself like the Abyss, forever sinking into darkness. I am like a rising star, always burning with passion!"
