So this is the rewrite of this story. I am changing some things. Actually a lot of things. So this is no longer a crossover. This will be a purely Transformers story. Now some of the characters will be the same. Like the Unicron children and some of my other transformer OCs. But as I am rewriting this story into another form almost entirely there is a learning curb for me. So be a little patient with me. I've never said I was the best writer.
The Son of Unicron
The Forgotten History
In the beginning of Cybertrons history there were two Titans of their kind. They were believed to be the only members of their race and in a way they were right. These two behemoths were known as Unicron and Primus. One was the embodiment of destruction and chaos. The other was his opposite. The embodiment of creation and peace. They were created to balance each other out. However their story starts with another race. These beings were known as the Quintessons. They were masterminds in their own right. Creatures of intelligence and knowledge. But also destruction as they were known as weapon dealers to the galaxies around them. They had created these titans as final weapons. Unicron was their pride as he was built as the final weapon of war. He was an instant kill for all wars and was a last resort for people in conflict. However for each weapon of mass destruction there must always be a counter. Unicrons counter was Primus. A being of equal power that would be able to stop Unicron and protect them.
But the Quintessons had never expected these weapons to grow and learn. And eventually, these titans had developed thought and in an unexpected event joined forces to defeat their masters. With this event the Quintessons scattered to the stars to escape their death. In doing so they may have survived as a species but they were forever weakened. Reduced to a fraction of their number with no hope of repopulation.
Following this war the two titans continued with their programming. They started a war with each other over the Quintessons home world. A world known as Cybertron. Over centuries they fought, never able to outdo the other. Always at a stalemate and never accomplishing their goals. Finally, a forgotten code in Primus was awakened. In this code the creation of the 13 original Cybertronians was started. These 13 warriors were known as the Primes and they were the turning point. No longer able to match Primus, Unicron was forced on the backfoot. He was unable to win and constantly battered back. But something the Quintessons had never predicted happened. Unicron learned. He adapted and once he had completed this adaptation he created his own disciples.
In a time of unprecedented growth Unicron gave birth to 13 more Cybertronians. These 13 were known at the time as the Dark Siblings. They were Unicron's last chance to match the Primes. And they showed their power.
The first of these warriors and their leader was known as Lightning Strike. He was made as a counter to Solus Prime. A master tactician and brilliant engineer in his own right he matched Solus in creativity but far exceeded her in power.
The second was Uni. The Counter to Prima. She was a warrior first and foremost. An unknown that fought unpredictably and constantly used her smaller stature to put larger mechs in tough situations.
The third was Octania. The counter to Megatronus. Another warrior at heart but far more violent. She was a warrior of power using her much larger frame to match the Primes with pure strength and power.
The forth was Scythia. The counter to Alpha Trion. A warrior of brains and tactics over brawn she preferred to fight longer distances and wear down her opponents over time.
The fifth was Blaze. She was the counter to Nexus Prime. A shifter made of four different minibots. Able to combine and separate at will and confuse her opponents before swiftly attacking.
The sixth was Selania. The counter to Amalgamous Prime. A trickster by trade she made her warfare about misdirection. Setting traps to close distance and draw enemies into traps built to disable and outright kill.
The seventh was Seabreeze. She was the counter to Liege Maximo. A warrior of pure grace able to shift forms and styles at any time of her choosing. Unpredictable and unstoppable when she got moving. She would batter an opponent over time before ripping them away in one attack at the end.
The eighth was Nova. A firecracker, she relied on quick flashy attacks to blind opponents and quickly eliminate them. As a scientist she made new weapons that she was always ready to unleash. She was the counter to Alchemist Prime.
The Ninth was Redwing. She was a Predacon or Beast Transformer. She was the counter to Onyx Prime and the most animalistic of her siblings. Relying on instincts to guide her to victory over all others.
The tenth was Shadowstone. A minicon, she was the counter to Micronus Prime. She was smart and used her size to her advantage. Often disappearing in the middle of a fight by hitching a ride on one of her larger siblings.
The eleventh was Fyndefire. The counterpart to Quintus Prime, she was a scientist. Rarely seeing frontline combat she prioritized long range combat and tactics to defeat opponents.
The twelve was Alchemy. She was the counterpart to Alchemist Prime. She was a specialist in traps and made the matter side of her siblings. Able to make anything into usable matter for her siblings. Not much of a fighter, she preferred traps and long range combat over melee.
The thirteenth and final sister was known as Silvia. The youngest of the Dark Siblings, she was the counter to the Thirteenth Prime and was a peacemaker. She was the voice of reason to her older siblings and was often protected. But she was a vicious combatant relying on her sheer speed to disable opponents and dissect them at the joints.
These 13 warriors were all that stood up to the primes and they became a force of nature. Pushing the Primes back and forcing another stalemate. These siblings were a constant source of struggle for the primes as they fought together in a way that the primes seemed to be unable to do. But over time it became clear that the Primes were the stronger force and slowly they started to push back. As the battles continued to roll slowly the 13 dark siblings dwindled. Becoming more ragged as time rolled on before they were defeated along with their father. That is where the first story of this forgotten history starts.
Unicron's Defeat
Standing before Primus, Unicron's form was battered. "You may defeat me brother, but you will not beat my children." Unicron said as his weapon dropped from his hand. He stared at his brother and grinned. "They will defeat you and your disciples in time. I only wonder if I will be online long enough to see it happen." He chuckled before looking up to the moons that orbited Cybertron.
Primus as well looked up before bringing his ancient gaze back to his brother. "They may in time. But in order to do that they will need to escape this battle alive. And as it looks there only seem to be four of your disciples that are strong enough to survive this." Primus said as he looked over the battle between their children causing Unicron to look as well. True to his words the fight was not going well. They watched together as the Primes used their coordination to slowly separate the siblings and attack them two or three on one. Lightning Strike was the only one truly holding his own as he battled Megatronus and Solus Prime to a standstill, blade and hammers clashing equally and parrying away devastating attacks.
The rest of the siblings seemed to be having issues as the Primes kept switching tactics and opponents driving the Dark Siblings back.
Unicron looked slightly pained as he watched one of his daughters fall. "It would seem in our arrogance, that we have underestimated you Primes…" He said while watching the battle. He turned back to Primus feeling his body start to shut down. "It would seem that you have finally defeated me, Primus. I congratulate you brother. I have seen what will become of us. Planets on separate sides of the Universe. Nothing but bodies that other creatures will walk on. I hope you know that I have never hated you. But there is something about battle I could never leave behind. And now I have dragged my children down with me." Unicron spoke sadly as he looked at his brother.
Primus taking pity on his brother reached out to him. "And I have never hated you brother. But this is how we must settle things. But I will grant you a boon and send you children with you. Whatever remains of them." Primus spoke as his hands and spark started to glow with power.
Reaching his hands out Primus took hold of the fallen Dark Siblings counting nine fallen warriors. Sighing he launched them into space before grabbing his brother and launching him at them. Once they cleared the gravity of the planet the fallen siblings drifted towards the large mass of their father as they traveled farther and farther away. Turning his attention to the battle still going on Primus watched as his Primes attacked the final four Dark Siblings. He saw Lightning Strike attack with a renewed vigor after his siblings and father started to drift away. He became like a cornered animal and launched Megatronus away from him before repeating the action to Solus Prime and Liege Maximo. He made his way to his final three sisters and together they formed a circle.
Primus having enough stepped forward. "ENOUGH!" he roared, stopping the fighting. "Lighting Strike, Silvia, Redwing, and Seabreeze. Must we continue this useless fight. Your siblings are gone as is your father. You are outnumbered and outmatched. This is the end of this war and your family has lost." he said hoping they would see reason and stop this fighting.
Lightning Strike looked at his fellow siblings and saw an unbearable sight. Seabreeze had a damaged arm and was struggling to hold her own weight up steadily leaking dark energon onto the ground. Red Wing had a damaged wing and leg strut keeping her from transforming into her beast mode. She was also leaking energon heavily but stood straight ready for a fight even with her clear exhaustion. The worst was Silvia. His youngest sibling was on her last legs. She had a massive wound across her chest plate and a massive gash across her face nearly gouging out both her optics. He was no better, he thought to himself. He had long since lost sight in his right optic and could feel the damage to his frame. Looking around at the Primes that had now surrounded them he smiled weakly. They seemed just as wounded as his siblings and himself. But they were far more prepared for a fight then they were. He looked back to his siblings and sighed to himself. Turning his back on the Titan he walked back to his siblings and smiled. "I love you all. I will catch up to you." He spoke before raising his hands and using his own considerable strength and launched them into the sky shere Primus also launched them higher. Smiling up at them he turned back to the Primes. "My family has fallen today but we will rise again. Beware Primes that we will return. But first… I'm gonna take some of you with me." He roared out as he charged them.
Primus watched it happen and could only shake his head before he moved forward and slammed his fist into the wounded warrior. It was a blow that would kill any usual mech of his size but through his own veins flowed dark energon and a will to defy the inevitable. So he took the blow and used it to catapult away before shifting his body so the large cannons his back could aim before unleashing a devastating bombardment that obscured the Primes vision.
When the bombardment finished Lightning Strike was nowhere to be seen and the Primes cheered. That changed however when they heard a deep groaning and turned to see the damage that was delivered to Primus. His right hand was destroyed and his left shoulder had several gaping holes in it as well as his chest and legs.
Primus could only look at his body as it started to fail and smile grimly. It was as his brother had said. His body would no longer be able to support himself so with a grim determination he looked to his children. "My body will no longer support my spark. This will be my final day in this form. So I will merge myself with the core of this planet to give it life. From that life, more beings like you will be born. You will be tasked with leading them my children. I have faith in you." He said before he started to fall backwards into a massive well. That well would soon become the Well of Allsparks and become the beacon of life on Cybertron. As he fell Primus looked up to the sky and saw a blinking star. Closing his optics he thought 'My life as a warrior is gone. But now I will hold the life of a planet in my spark. It is as you said brother I just wish it never came to this.'
After the fall Cybertron grew tremendously. Energon lakes started to sprout among the planet and eventually new sparks were created. And these sparks became Cybertronians that knew nothing of the battles already fought on the planet that they inhabited. That was the way that the Primes wished it and so it became fact. The Thirteen together with the help of their father defeated Unicron and then their father in his own selflessness merged with the planet to give it life.
This is the tale that every Cybertronian knows. Primus the great life bringer. But deep in the halls of the Primes they wrote down the stories of the Dark Siblings before locking them away never to be seen again.
Solus on her own built thirteen tombs that would one day hold the Dark Siblings or be a remembrance of their deeds. They were her way of showing respect to warriors that could match them. Alpha Trion recorded everything that he could about them and kept them knowing that someday he would have need of them again. Onyx Prime, Megatronus, and Liege Maximo took to the stars to track down the warriors hoping to end them once and for all. As for the rest of the Primes, slowly they faded away and disappeared one at a time before it all came to a head. Megatronus returned and betrayed his fellow brother. Causing untold damage before retreating to a new world that would one day be called Earth. Here he made his final stand against the Primes and after his defeat and the loss of his greatest weapons he was sealed away by the other 12 Primes. But this came with a tremendous price. Of the 13 primes the only ones that now stood were Onyx Prime, Alpha Trion, and Solus Prime. Alpha Trion returned to Cybertron where he wrote the story of his siblings. Onyx Prime returned to his hunt of the remaining Dark Siblings. And Solus Prime, the last of the Primes on Earth felt a connection that she couldn't understand to the planet.
She stayed there for years unknowing that she was being observed. She knew something was off about the planet that she was on. It was a place of absolute chaos and mischief but she had no idea why. After nearly a century of scouting the world she finally turned back to the stars and left behind the odd world that she had called home for a while.
After she left four massive cybertronian frames moved out of the water, sky, and trees looking back towards the Prime. "Do you think we will be left alone for a while?" the youngest of them asked. The oldest and only boy of them looked up. " I would hope so sister. Our siblings and fathers final resting place should not be disturbed. Let us retire for the night, for we are not yet ready to return to Cybertron." He spoke.
Millenia later the Primes were considered a myth and were just a story to tell the younger generation while the Dark Siblings were never known. They were forgotten by history. But as the Golden Age of Cybertron ended and a gladiator by the name of Megatronus started his rise to fame. Alpha Trion knew that the Siblings would make a return soon. So he started to pull all of the research he had gathered together and prayed that he would be able to make a difference unknowing just how soon they would be back.
