Fairy Tail Crystal's Tale
"Do fairies really have tails? Do they even exist… Like them, this place is an eternal mystery… A never ending adventure!" This is the quote I was told when I came to the very Guild that changed my life. A life of exciting moments, I made so many friends there. There were also times I made a lot of enemies, to me it was a journey to search for who I was. I had no memory of who I was, or where I came from. I've been going around this land known as Fiore searching for who I was. All I remember was just my name, and I also made a friend while I grew up in a small village until I was old enough to leave on my own. My name is Crystal, and this is my story of my adventures with the Guild I joined, it's name… is Fairy Tail!
An Adventure Begins!
Year - X784
A/N - as an example for what people want her to be voiced by, in my opinion I am choosing Christine Marie Cabanos as Crystal's VA.
In a forest outside of a town nearby is a young girl about 17 years old, having light blue hair going slightly lower than her shoulders, she has ice color eyes, she wears a black tank top, has a white skirt with a black and silver belt, and underneath is tight black shorts, she also has silver strapped shoes on which is also strapped around her ankle. Her chest size is about E, her height is 5'5. She currently is carrying a bag over her shoulder with traveling equipment. This is Crystal, a wandering girl who has lost her memory 7 years ago. She was found frozen in ice by some people from a faraway village and was taken care of until she made a plan to head out and search for who she is. The only thing she could remember was only her name.
"Are we almost there Krys?" A male voice spoke to her which she stopped to see her little friend catching up. He is a cat with dark blue fur, silver color in the ears which are pointed, he wears a small grey vest that is open, and his eyes are black. This is Frost, Crystal's partner 7 years ago who came out of a large egg, she raised him as her first close friend when she found him. Though at times when around others he just keeps quiet unless it's Crystal talking to him.
"Not too far I believe, if what the guy said about this nearby town. I'm sure we can have a place to stay for the night." She replied to him. She pulls out a map they were given before, and looks at it to see where they are at. She looks to see how close they are to get to the nearby town they were told about. "We've come a long way from where we lived at huh Frost?"
"I guess so, but with you having no memory about your past it will be difficult to find anyone who knows you. They said you were frozen in ice for an unknown reason." Frost tells her and she remembered that, when she was found in a cold cavern she was only a little girl. She was told that they found her there and all of a sudden she couldn't remember why or how she was frozen, all she knew about herself was her name. When she grew older she wanted to explore the world and search for answers of what she had forgotten. Crystal sighed knowing he does have a good point.
"Yeah, people have said sleeping in ice like that can make time go by. I don't even know how long I must have been in that ice." Crystal says worried that she might not get a possible person to know her. "However it doesn't hurt to find someone who could know something." The two of them continue forward through the forest in hopes to search for the town.
"You know Krys, you should be practicing on your magic abilities." Frost tells her, though she only sighed.
"I know I should… but the problem is I only know that I can use Ice Magic. The people from town said there are a lot of different kinds of Magic. I can use regular Ice spells to Freeze and whatnot, but there's something else to my magic that I'm not understanding." Crystal tells him and they finally get to the town, though something big was happening which they hear a woman scream.
"Someone help! Thieves!" She yelled out and the duo sees two thugs in black robes stealing her Jewels.
"Haha! Look at this, let's get out of here quick-" Before they could reach the forest, Crystal used her Ice Magic and she froze the two in their tracks.
"You better watch it, you should never steal from a lady!" Crystal says to the frozen thieves while they were wide eyed from what she did. She goes up to the frozen thieves and uses her Magic to unfreeze the bag to take it away from them. She goes to the woman and hands it to her. "Here you go miss, they've been dealt with."
"Oh thank you miss. What a nice young lady you are, say since you just froze those awful men. Does that make you a Wizard?" She asks her.
"Well, yes I am." Crystal tells the woman.
"What Guild are you from?" The woman asked and Crystal looked at her confused.
"Guild? What are you talking about?" She asked.
"Oh? You aren't in a Guild? I was certain you were since you used magic." The woman explained.
"Um well… the problem is I have no memory about much. So I might not know about the world." She explained with a sad expression.
"Oh you poor thing. Oh I know what you should do, if you want to become a full fledged Wizard then you should go to the town of Magnolia!" The woman tells her.
"Magnolia? Is it far? I came here to seek answers about finding out who I am." Crystal tells the woman.
"Well I'm certain the Famous Guild in Magnolia will gladly help you. They may be a rowdy bunch, but they are the best in all of Fiore. Here let me show you." The woman says and Crystal pulled out the map she had on her. "This is where we are, and this large town is Magnolia. This is home to the Guild. If you ask they might let you be a member of the Guild."
"That seems like a plan. I'll think about it, thanks for your help." Crystal says to her as she and Frost head to the Town of Magnolia.
"Good luck young lady! And thanks for helping." The woman said out loud to her.
Both Crystal and Frost travel through the vast forest in hopes to reach the town called Magnolia and find out what this Wizard Guild can help her out with.
"So Frost, do you think this Guild will be helpful as the lady said?" Crystal asks him.
"Who knows... If we are going to join this Guild, then I have no interest talking with such people." He says to her.
"Oh come on, don't be so harsh for them. Besides it might be fun to make a lot of new friends at this place." Crystal says excited to make some new friends, although Frost just sighed.
"Whatever you say Krys…" He tells her, then he looked up and noticed the sky getting dark. "We should probably make camp soon, it's going to be nighttime in a moment." Crystal looked through the leaves of the trees to notice he was right.
"Well we have traveled for a long time. It's best that we rest for tonight." Crystal says and starts to set up the camp equipment in her bag. She makes a fire with some of the equipment and everything else done. Crystal sat near the campfire while Frost was eating an Orange. "Hey Frost, do you think I'll ever remember who I was?"
"Hmm? You are unsure about that, hey Amnesia isn't always permanent. Your memory will return, just trust in yourself and I'm sure we can find the answers to your past." He tells her as he bites into the orange. Although Crystal was not sure she could actually do that very easily. She stared at the campfire deep in thought about what being a Guild would be like and after a while she grew tired and fell asleep.
The next morning she wakes up to sudden loud noises that seem to be going on near where they set up camp.
"Whoa what's going on!?" She asks suddenly and fully awake. She sees Frost with wings on his back, coming from where the noise was.
"There seems to be a fight going on! We should check it out quickly!" He tells her and Crystal quickly stands up following him to where the action was happening and they see a group of people in a big fight.
"Whoa, do they have to fight all of a sudden?!" Crystal asked, while she is surprised at what is happening. There was a young man with black hair in a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes, there is also a young girl with blonde hair, a pink tank top, light blue shorts, brown boots, and on her waist were Gold and Silver keys plus a whip, the female was getting a blue cat out of the tight spot he is in, she then notices a young man with pink spiky hair, wearing a white scarf in a black and yellow trim vest, as well as a waistcoat, white trousers with black ribbons, and wears black sandals. "Wait, that guy there. Who is he?"
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" He shouted and punched a short guy with dark grey skin color into the ground. Then later the group of three tied up the strange group of guys up to a tree. However a shadow of a hand suddenly appeared below the tied up people and vanished into the ground.
"What was that?" Crystal asked Frost wondering how the tied up guys vanished.
"I'm not sure, but if I had to guess it was some kind of shadow like magic. Whoever did that is most likely with those that were tied up." Frost assumed.
"Hey, who are you two?" A voice spoke behind them and Crystal turned around to see the blue cat with wings that was with the trio just a moment ago.
"Whoa! Where did you appear from?!" Crystal asked the cat, surprised.
"Hey are you like me?" The Blue cat asked Frost who noticed he also has wings.
"A cat with wings? You aren't the only one Frost?" Crystal turned to her friend though he stayed silent.
"Who are you?" The male with black hair and blue eyes asked. Along with him was the other male and the blonde female curious about Crystal.
"Are you in league with the guys we just fought?" The Pink haired guy asked, seeming to want to crush Crystal which scared her.
"Hey, whoa don't you think that's a bit too far to ask that from a girl?!" The blonde female yells at him. "I'm sorry about him, things were a bit hectic."
"Oh well… I was kinda camping not too far from here and I wondered what all that noise was about." Crystal replied to the female and noticed a special mark on the pink haired guy's shoulder and the on girl's right back hand. "That mark, are you all from a Guild?"
"Yup, we're members of the Fairy Tail Guild!" The Pink haired guy explains with a wide grin.
"Fairy Tail…?" Crystal questioned confused about the name.
"Yeah, it's one of the top Wizard Guilds. Don't you know that?" The Blonde asked her which Crystal looked sad and they all looked at her concerned from her sudden expression.
"I… I'm sorry, I actually don't know about anything, because I don't remember anything at all except only my name." She explains to them.
"You have Amnesia?" The black haired guy asks and Crystal nods. The blonde haired girl felt bad for her wishing to help her somehow, the pink haired guy was concerned for her then just smiled at her.
"Don't you worry! I'm sure your memory will come back! How about you come with us to Fairy Tail?" He asked her which she looked up at him surprised.
"Huh? Me? Well… I am able to use magic, the problem is I don't know what kind it is… all I've practiced is that my Magic is Ice and that's it." She explains worried she might not be good enough.
"Ice style huh? I think you have a good type of Magic already, maybe you can learn some stuff from me." The black hair guy tells her as he suddenly stripped down to his boxers strangely.
"Uh excuse me… why are you taking your clothes off?" Crystal asked him creeped out from him suddenly stripping, which made him realize what he was doing. "That is one guy I'm going to stay away."
"Well, let's go to the introductions. I'm Lucy." The blonde says happily.
"I'm Natsu Dragneel! And this is my buddy Happy!" The pink hair guy says and the blue cat called Happy replies with "Aye!"
"I'm Gray Fullbuster, a pleasure." The black hair guy says.
"Great to meet you, I'm Crystal. And this is my friend Frost." She said to the four of them, while Frost looked away and replied with "Sup."
"Hey that's kind of rude when being introduced!" Lucy says to Frost, though he turned his back to them with a "hmph."
"I'm sorry about him, he is kinda harsh towards others. The only person he talks to is me." Crystal explains. "Although, I think I'd like to join a Guild. Will it be alright for me?"
"Sure, what kind of Ice magic do you use?" Gray asks her.
"I'm not sure, but Natsu… you were using an interesting type of Fire Magic, what was that?" Crystal asks him.
"His type of Magic is Dragon Slayer Magic!" Happy Answered.
"Dragon Slayer Magic…?" Crystal questioned which something triggered in her mind from those words. "Why does that sound familiar? Is it part of my past?"
"Yeah, it's a special Magic that can allow you to be immune to your element and consume it!" Happy tells her.
"You actually eat Fire?! That seems weird… although, could I have an example of your magic? So maybe I can understand it?" Crystal asked him.
"Sure! Let me show you!" Natsu tells her and readies himself. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" He blows a stream of fire down at the forest from below the cliff they are at. Crystal was amazed at what he just did. "Hah! Was that a good example for you?"
"Nice going you hothead!" Gray said to him and the two banged their heads and started to argue.
"Hmm… so a Dragon Slayer… I wonder if I can do that with my Ice Style Magic. Ok so I say it like that but instead, "Ice Dragon's", Alright I'll give it a shot." Crystal said to herself as Lucy watched her take a deep breath and she was surrounded by magic power as she was going to unleash a powerful spell and takes a large deep breath. "Ice Dragon's Roar!" This has her blow a twister of cold icy wind mixed with ice shards swirling in the twister and froze part of the forest she aimed at.
"Holy Moly you did it!" Happy exclaimed as the two boys stopped their argument after witnessing what Crystal did.
"Nice one Krys, looks like you found the purpose of your magic. So you are able to use this "Dragon Slayer Magic". That is pretty neat for you!" Frost tells her and Crystal was amazed at what she did.
"Well, I think that settles it! From now on she's part of the Guild!" Natsu declares and Happy replies with "Aye!" Once again.
"Then let's get back to the Guild, she can't be a part of it until she gets the Guild's mark." Gray tells them and they lead her and Frost to the town of Magnolia.
From that day was how I got to start my new Journey as a Guild Wizard, as a new member of Fairy Tail! However this journey also became a new dangerous path I would now take, and the path where I adapt to using my Magic I now learned about. I'm Crystal and this is my story of being with Fairy Tail!
And that marks the start of my own Fairy Tail Story! A path Crystal takes along with her Guildmates of Fairy Tail, going on dangerous adventures to learn about her past and to get stronger. What will happen on this path? Follow her as she goes with the members of Fairy Tail to stop a Dark Guild!
