Episode 10; The Grand Magic Games!
It was a rough experience after being in stasis for 7 years, plus having to face the group known as Legion Platoon and the later revealed Neo Oración Seis who branded their icon onto the Infinity Clock to bring Chaos unto the world. All of us at Fairy Tail rose to overthrow the Dark Guild Mages and stop the Chaos of the Real Nightmare Grand Spell onto the world! Now Zentopia will go on a new path of righteousness after being fooled from lies. But now we, the group who have been gone for 7 years, learned that people have prepared a special event known as the Grand Magic Games which happens every year! It was the perfect opportunity to reclaim our title as being the Number 1 Guild in all of Fiore! However we were gonna go face to face in this huge event against some familiar comrades as well as the current Guild who are Number 1 named Sabertooth who have 2 Wizards we were about to meet, also find out we were gonna face something we never would have imagined.
The members of Fairy Tail and the Legion Platoon had a party, though the Legion Platoon had come to explain they were given the task to seek the 6 pieces of the Infinity Clock and seal them away for good. Though without magic power after being used before it will be difficult to locate the pieces, so it may take time for them to seek them. Although it might not be forever, it is most likely Fairy Tail will see them again. So after saying their farewells the group of 6 leave the Guild to accomplish their mission.
"Sabertooth?" Crystal questioned. "They're incredibly strong. Like majorly! They surpassed Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale a while back so now they're the strongest Wizard Guild around!" Romeo explains to everyone. "I've never heard of them until today." Gray said never heard about such a Guild before. "Same goes for me, and I guess everyone else who was in stasis for 7 years." Crystal answered. "Well that was because 7 years ago no one heard of them. They started growing when they got a new Guild Master and when 5 Strong Wizards joined and that was it." Sakore explained the sudden rising of the unheard Guild. "Wow, 5 new members made that much of a difference?" Lucy asks, surprised. "Sounds like these guys have some serious guts!" Natsu assumed, as he is a bit excited.
"Sadly over the years without you guys around, Fairy Tail dropped to being the weakest Guild. Dead last." Sakore mentions with a sigh. "Wow, we're in last place?! That's perfect! This is gonna be fun!" Natsu says with a hearty laugh. "What do you mean by that Natsu?" Crystal asks the Salamander. "Just think about it Crystal! It's gonna be awesome clawing our way up back to the top all over again! I can't wait, I'm all fired up!" He says psyched up! "You know you're not wrong! We may have not been around. But we will show the greatest comeback anyone will ever see in History!" Crystal says agreeing with Natsu!
After some time it was peaceful and quiet at the Guild when Natsu and Max decided to brawl. "Geez Natsu hasn't changed one bit." Crystal says as the two began their fight as Max was able to dodge Natsu's attacks since he had been gaining combat experience for 7 years. "Impressive, I can't believe Max has the upper hand on Natsu. This is quite a turn of events." Frost says witnessing the fight until this happened. "Lightning Flame Dragon Mode!" Natsu was then suddenly surrounded with both Fire and Lightning back when facing Grimoire Heart's Guild Master Hades! "Whoa since when could he have that happen?!" Crystal asked, surprised Natsu unleashed it without having to consume Lightning! "Lightning Flame Dragon's Roar!" Natsu blasts a roar mixed with Lightning and Fire which Max gave up after witnessing what Natsu had revealed. Lucy asked how he learned to do that and he said that he learnt it right at that moment. "No way. I didn't think he could do that just on a whim!" Crystal then gripped her fists and stood up. "Alright that's it! I've gotta find a secondary Element for my own power up against tough opponents!" She says a shine in her eyes. "Whoa now hold on! Natsu was able to do such a thing, but I don't know if you're ready for that hurdle yet!" Frost argued with her. "Come on Frost! I'm a Dragon Slayer! If Natsu can do it, then so can I! I just need to observe what would be best suited with an Ice Dragon Slayer!" She says pumped up.
Later, Makarov had an announcement to make to everyone which seemed really important. "The time has come, kids. I've done all I can in service to this Guild. Allow me to introduce Fairy Tail's next Master." He started off, and people were a bit surprised. "Without further ado, the 5th Master of Fairy Tail. Gildarts Clive." He points to Mirajane while Gildarts is nowhere to be seen. "Wh-where the hell is Gildarts?!" He asked Mirajane. She gives him a letter saying that being Master isn't his style, the two things he include is having Laxus returning into Fairy Tail even Laxus himself was shocked to be hearing this kind of news after he was banished by his grandfather from his actions. The other thing he has is he gives leadership back to Makarov. "But I just retired!" He claimed in annoyance. At the end of his letter he leaves the responsibility of getting the Guild being back to Number 1 to everyone else without his help to see if they have the chance to make it happen without ease.
Though during that time Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Wendy, and Crystal along with their Exceeds went to Porlyusica to see if there was a way of getting stronger since they didn't have any works of Training in stasis. Though when she shooed them away Wendy was confused because Porlyusica smelled and sounded like the Sky Dragon Grandeeney. That was when Porlyusica decided to shine some light talking about Edolas where every person in Earthland has a counterpart in Edolas. That's when they realized she was the Edolas counterpart of Grandeeney the Sky Dragon! She gave Wendy a book listed with 2 Advanced Sky Dragon Skills that Wendy had yet not learned in time. So they decided to leave with that and return to the Guild seeing people arguing about something.
"What are you guys arguing about?" Crystal asked everyone. Macao and some of the others would rather not want to go through it ever. Though Romeo wasn't going to give up now that they have the Tenrou Team back in action. "So what exactly are we talking about doing or not doing?" Natsu asked, a bit curious about what they were talking about. "While you guys were all stuck on Tenrou Island a Tournament started to determine Fiore's Number 1 Guild!" Romeo answered "Sounds like a whole lot of fun to me!" Natsu claimed, liking what he was hearing. "Guild's from all over the Country face off against each other in magic events! They call it The Grand Magic Games!" Romeo explains which they were getting hyped for this. "So that explains why Sabertooth is currently Number 1!" Crystal realized after hearing this! "That's right! But if we can beat them and win the games this time! We'll be Number 1 instead!" He finished and Makarov thought about what they heard. "That would be nice. But I'm not entirely convinced we can win given our current state of disarray." He said since it might be challenging without having some who didn't train their hardest while during the events they recently dealt with. That is when Romeo also mentioned the winning Guild is given 30 Million Jewels which Makarov now feels determined for Fairy Tail to win the competition! They only have 3 Months to train until the Event begins. "Now that the final decision has been made, there's no need for all this moping and groaning! So let's get to work, let's win that 30 Million Jewel and the title of Fiore's Number 1 Guild! Fairy Tail is entering the Grand Magic Games and aiming for the Top!" Makarov shouted as everyone cheered!
Some of the Tenrou Island team went to a Beach area for training, other members went to other places to raise their strengths as best as they can! Meanwhile at the Beach in swimsuits Sakore is helping Crystal with her training meditating, he also decided to up her training by giving her a shell that weighed a lot which made it tricky for her to move. "You won't get stronger unless you are able to master wearing heavy clothing! Especially a turtle shell which is a plastic one!" He tells her as she struggles through the first day! "Losing 7 years is rough. But I will proceed! I, no. We will be sure to claim the title as Number 1 again! This heavy shell will not make me drop!" She trains herself as Sakore observed along with Frost who wants to see Crystal grow even stronger to even break her current limits. "She's working really hard to surpass her limits. I'll be sure she learns the teachings I've learned preparing myself when I was young." Sakore smiles seeing her progress going well.
The next day Sakore has Crystal get ready to meditate as sometimes working too hard can over exert the human body. But as they were about to, Virgo suddenly appears asking for Fairy Tail's help in the Celestial World. The others were concerned as she opened a gate for them to travel to the Celestial World. Natsu, Lucy, and Crystal were given the garments they wore back with the events of Nirvana, Wendy having hers back during the battle against Hades. Everyone else were different. And from their view the Celestial Spirit World looked majestic and magical. "So this is the Celestial Spirit World? It's so beautiful!" Crystal exclaimed, seeing the beauty of the realm! "And so we meet again Human girl!" A voice echoed through the Realm as the group looked up seeing the Ruler of the World! "I bid you welcome to our world!" That being the Celestial Spirit King! "Celestial Spirit King!" Lucy claimed, seeing the Large being. "So he's the Celestial Spirit King?!" Sakore asked, seeing the said Man himself. "I heard Lucy Met him once! But I never imagined how tall he is!" Crystal exclaimed as this was her first time seeing him too! "Is it true that your world is on the brink of destruction?" Lucy asked him concerned for their well being. Though he smiled. "Lucy and friends! I have requested your presence so that we might honor your remarkable return from the prison of Time! Now let us Celebrate!" He claimed while everyone in Fairy Tail was confused. Though they claim the thing Virgo said was a lie just bring them here so it wouldn't be a problem for all of the Spirits to manifest in the Human World so they decided to bring the Fairy Tail group here for a celebration!
Some of the Fairy Tail members got well acquainted with the Spirits like with Juvia and Aquarius, Crystal did get asked by the Water Bearer if she had a boyfriend or a crush. Crystal wasn't expecting a question like that but glanced at Sakore who was chatting with Leo the Lion or known as Loke to the Fairy Tail Guild, then she quickly looked away. Over time the feast was over, now it was time to get back to training. However Virgo mentioned how time flows differently here compared to the Human world, she explains that time moves 3 months in the Human World while it is a single day in the Celestial World which they were all dumbfounded and left back on the beach with no one around. They only now have 5 days left which meant there was no way of winning the competition.
"We're screwed. We won't be able to win with just 5 days remaining." Crystal said quietly as she, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy, Juvia, Levy, Wendy, Sakore and the Exceeds sat together in disappointment. However Erza wasn't ready to quit and so was Natsu, she declared for a run when a pigeon landed on her head as they noticed something around one of the legs. It was a note reading to ask for Fairy Tail to come to the broken bridge on the west, some were skeptical about it but Erza felt they should at least check on who sent the note. When they got there they found the broken bridge where there was no one there until the Bridge started repairing itself almost as if someone rewound time on it. "Did it repair itself?" Sakore asked while Crystal felt this wasn't just anything normal. The others wondered what to do until Crystal started walking forward and some of them were surprised as she volunteered to cross it which didn't surprisingly collapse while walking. The others follow her and to a point they stop and see three cloaked figures who walk towards the group. That was when Crystal and Natsu were able to get their scents as Crystal smirked. "You sure have some way to drag us all out here just to see each other again. Aren't I right? Jellal." Crystal claimed where the others were surprised. The three removed their hoods revealing their faces. "It's nice to see you again." The one Crystal called which is in fact Jellal while the other two were Ultear and Meredy, Ex members of the Dark Guild Grimoire Heart.
The trio had formed an Independent Guild with no Alignment, they call themselves Crime Sorciere as there were mentions of how they took out a bunch of Dark Guilds and their Main Goal is Zeref as they plan to stop all kinds of darkness that were to corrupt any person which sounded good for them as they had done many horrible things in the past. "Anyway as much as we love to keep catching up. We brought you here to ask a favor. Is it true you'll be entering the Grand Magic Games this year?" Ultear asks and Natsu confirms they were. "We can't get near the colosseum without trouble. If all of you are willing, we'd like you to do something while you're there."
"Is there a reason why you can't get near it?" Sakore asks them. "Every year we sense unusual magic power in the Games. We want you to find out what's behind it." Jellal explains. "Wait, how is that possible? Guilds from all around Fiore are gathered around for the games. It isn't impossible to feel that much magic around a place like that." Crystal mentions, not sure what they were getting at. "We wouldn't be asking you if we were absolutely certain. What's more, the power we've been sensing is not only evil but reminiscent of Zeref." Jellal tells them. "Zeref? Are you sure that it's related?" Erza questioned him. "We believe our prior involvements would give us the ability to perceive any trace of his powers!"
"Now do you understand why ascertaining the truth is paramount?" Ultear asked the group, "If you can track down the source of the mysterious energy it may help us locate him." Jellal tells them. "And you'll be compensated like any other job." Meredy mentions. "Discretion is important. We don't want the culprit to know that we're onto them. So we'll be rooting for you behind the scenes." "Sounds like a wild goose chase but we'll do it." Erza said believing to trust their words. "You sure about this Erza?" Gray asks her a bit of uncertainty about this. "We don't have much choice. Guilds from all over Fiore will be gathering around this power. It could be troublesome for us also." She mentions. "Did we mention we'll be paying upfront?" Ultear mentions which some of them were excited. "Hang on, what's the catch by giving us the reward already?" Crystal questioned. "Allow me to explain. I've had years to work on my Arc of Time Magic and can use it to enhance your abilities!" She explained. "A power up at least that's one wait to put it. Though it's not entirely accurate. Wizards possess something like an eternal container that determines how much magic power they can have. Though it's depleted with every spell you cast. Your body naturally draws in ethernano from the surrounding atmosphere all on its own and continues to do so until the container is full again. But recent research has revealed that there is a part of this container and the magic it holds that goes unused. A reservoir of dormant power, they've come to call these hidden troves of magic The Second Origin!" This news was surprising to hear even if this was possible. "Not only can my Arc of Time force your containers to grow. But I can also grant you access to your Second Origin. Simply put you'll not only be able to use more powerful magic. You can keep using it for longer periods of time." This was a second wind that everyone needed.
However when Natsu was the first to test it, the view of him struggling to go through it were now giving some of them second thoughts about this. Most of them went through the same pain Natsu was dealing with while Sakore and Erza were unaffected for some reason, next up was Crystal while she was looking at her comrades.
"You're next Crystal, are you ready for this?" Ultear asks while Crystal thought of something else that came to her. "Actually I do have something in mind." She starts saying which Ultear looked confused. "Back 7 years ago I fell into the Ocean and your mother went into my subconscious and explained something to me. She said most of my power is closed off with multiple barriers, 3 of them to be exact. She was able to unlock the first one with ease because of training that time ago. Perhaps you could unlock the second barrier?" She explains as Ultear looked at her and thought on her suggestion. After a bit of thinking she came to a conclusion. "Very Well. I'll unlock the Barrier, however from what I can assume I can't risk unlocking the Final one. If I were to unlock both of them, it might cause a Magic Explosion risking everyone currently here." Ultear explains to her. "Very well, then place your hand on my hand just like your mother did for the first one." Ultear walks up to Crystal placing her left hand while holding the crystal ball in her right hand which shines as she starts to feel tremendous power. "Incredible! Mother has told me someone would one day be born with incredible Ice magic! Could Crystal be the one as she told me when I was young?!" Ultear thought as she sees ice color lines forming on Crystal's body while her expression is like everyone else feeling tremendous power pulsing throughout her body!
After the final days of passing the members return back to Fairy Tail and Makarov brings everyone as he will pick the 5 who compete in the Grand Magic Games. He picks Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Wendy as a team only because Laxus or Gajeel haven't returned yet. Also Makarov has secretly suggested Crystal to be a backup if anything were to happen to the current members, but only she knows of this for now.
They travel to Fiore's Capital Crocus which is where the Grand Magic Games is being held which the event starts tomorrow, the problem is that they won't have any clue of what the events will be. The others explain the events change every year so each will be mysteries that could make it challenging for them when they aren't prepared to expect. Reading through the rule book the Master of Each Guild is unable to participate, a Guild can't have anybody that doesn't have their respective emblem on part of it's behalf, and the last rule all games will remain a mystery until it is announced and the rules being explained in detail. There is also another where the participants are to be at their respective hotel at 12 o'Clock.
So Natsu and Happy decided to look around the capital with Lucy, Crystal, Frost and Sakore joining them. They explore a wide range of the capital until it slowly becomes night and there was a mention of fighting so Natsu goes over which Crystal runs behind him with Frost sitting on her shoulder as Natsu suddenly smelled something like a Dragon. He pushes through the crowd to see a couple of people knocked out and a pair of guys who look to have taken them down without effort. "Natsu can't you just slow down before running off!" Crystal shouted at him and then noticed the two males.
One of the males has a slim, yet muscular, toned body of average height with spiky blond hair, which is kept in strands jutting outwards in every direction, and a smaller, frontal cowlick (or tuft) of hair partially hanging over his forehead. He has slanted, slit pupiled, dark blue eyes; above the right one is a thin, diagonal scar. His left ear is adorned with an earring which, in itself, is attached to by a prominent metal pendant that is crystalline in shape. His white Sabertooth mark is located on his left shoulder. He dons a blue vest with golden outer edges and inner edges covered by a prominent trimming of gray fur that appears similar to a feather boa over a short, cream top, leaving his muscular upper abdominals exposed. His arms are covered by dark blue gloves reaching up to his mid-bicep, with their upper edges being adorned by light gray bands hanging down several centimeters. He wears loose, cream-colored pants, similar to Natsu's, but held up by suspenders, which attach to the pant loops by square-shaped rings that are gold in color. Over them, he dons distinctive dark blue galosh-Esque footwear that reaches up to his thighs and is attached to the upper edge of his pants. The prominent soles of the boots are distinctive in their own right; it has rectangular protrusions pointing upwards on their front portion, reminiscent of square fangs.
The other male is a slim young man of average height with rather messy black hair, which almost reaches down to his shoulders, along with some strands pointing upwards on top of his head and a prominent tuft obscuring most of his forehead. His hair is later brushed to the right side of his face covering up his right eye. He has red eyes with slit pupils similar to that of a snake's. He wears a long, black cape reaching down to his feet, with golden edges, a much lighter collar circling his neck, and a prominent, white ribbon hanging down on his chest. The cape bears a light Sabertooth's symbol on it. Below it, the second male seems to wear a plain gray shirt with prominent brown cuffs and what looks like a large metal band circling each of his biceps. From a light sash circling his waist hangs a distinctive, pale blue cloth waistguard, consisting of four long pieces of cloth reaching down below his knees. Each of these pieces is adorned by a large, dark cross with fan-shaped arms. Below the waistguard, he wears a pair of armored boots, which, on the front, bear plates bearing the very same motif which appears on the waistguard. And next to them both were 2 Exceeds, one with deep Maroon fur, the other is a green one in a pink frog like outfit for some reason, these 2 are Lector and Frosch.
"Lookie here!" The blonde haired male says seeing Natsu. "Is that Natsu Dragneel?" The black haired male asks. "Yeah that's me, but who are you?" He asks them. "Has this guy never heard of Sting and Rogue, the Twin Dragons of the Sabertooth Guild before?" A civilian asked surprised that someone has never heard of them. "Twin Dragons?" Crystal asked and turned to them in shock realizing what they meant. "Does that mean these guys are Dragon Slayers as well?! That makes a total of 8 Dragon Slayers ever!" She looked at them while Natsu looked at them with a calm expression. "You think you're hot stuff?" He questioned them as the Blonde male who is Sting walked to him laughing. "So the rumors of you entering the Grand Magic Games were true after all." He said, looking down at him. "How do you know who I am?" Natsu questioned him. "Everybody knows. You're the so-called Dragon Slayer who couldn't actually slay a Dragon." He says, like he knows the news of certain events that had happened. "Doesn't sound like much of a Dragon Slayer to me! The sad part of it is, I used to look up to you! And my friend is a big friend of Gajeel's."
"You gotta be kidding me. You're both Dragon Slayers?" Natsu asked, surprised there is even more. "We would prefer you would call us True Dragon Slayers instead because unlike you or you frosted little friend we could've easily slain Acnologia!" He says almost like he has superiority over them. "You'd think it'd be easy! But if you had come into contact face to face with that monster you'd be wrong!" Crystal argued. "Doesn't matter if we were there or not." Rogue replied. "When it all boils down to we're far superior!" Sting claims while his buddy Lector who is an Exceed explains how Natsu, Crystal, Gajeel, and Wendy are First Generation being taught by actual Dragons, Laxus and Cobra gained Dragon Lacrimas making them Second Generation, then there is Sting and Rogue who have been trained by Dragons and also have Lacrimas making them Third Generation. "In other words these guys are the Ultimate Dragon Slayers!" Lector finishes as both Natsu and Crystal look at them with serious expressions. "You guys really think you're so much better than everyone else?" Natsu questioned them. "They don't just think they are, there's a huge difference in skill between First and Third Gen Dragon Slayers. You would wish you were as half as they were." Lector answered as Frost looked at him with an unamused expression. "Tell me something. Did your guys' Dragons disappear in the Year 777 too?" Natsu asks them. "Yeah, you could say that." Sting answered. "More to the point they died." Rogue commented which surprised Natsu and Crystal. "The creatures that passed down their Dragon Slayer techniques to us, we eliminated them with our own hands! So that we could earn the title of True Dragon Slayers!" This shocked them greatly while Natsu looked angered. "You scum! Those were your parents!" Natsu yelled at them.
"You'd kill them just for power?! They raised you and that's the thanks you gave them?!" Crystal yelled at them while they were unphased. "What does it say about you then?" Sting questioned her while she was taken back. "There have been mentions that you lost your memory! Sure you may have gotten a few back, one about your dragon. But who's to say you killed your Dragon also? You have no memory of your past, perhaps you are nothing but someone who seeks power for you! You might have a bit of hidden Darkness that is hidden within!" Crystal was in disbelief of what she was hearing from a guy she doesn't know about. "You bastards leave her alone! I know Crystal would never dare harm anyone! Especially her Dragon!" Natsu argued back at him. "Yeah, back off! You don't know Krys like I do! She wouldn't be like that!" Frost also argued! "Whatever. It doesn't matter anyway. If you somehow make it through the qualifier rounds. We'll give you a taste of what True Dragon Slayer is like!" Sting retorted, swaying them off like they were small fry to him and Rogue.
After that they go to the hotel they were staying at and get scolded by Erza for being late though the only ones missing were Wendy and Carla which seemed odd. Crystal would assume Carla would have made sure they made it back but it was almost Midnight which they had to be ready for something to happen. When 12 Hit they go outside to see a large hologram of a person in a costume with a Pumpkin like mask as he explained that 113 teams have entered to compete for this Year's Grand Magic Games and the preliminaries will shorten down to only 8 teams. When suddenly the inns from other places rise higher, the person then explains this event is a race and that only the first 8 who reach the finish line will be competing but all 5 members have to cross for it to count which made it difficult since Wendy wasn't back yet. This begins the Sky Labyrinth event being a race to the end for only the first 8. The group was worried since they needed Wendy, who hasn't returned back. "Screw it guys! Let me be the backup for Wendy! If we don't get moving right now! We lose our chance to be The Top Guild!" Crystal exclaimed. "I'm with Crystal on this! We can't let people mock us! Let's move!" Natsu yelled out as he jumped onto the makeshift path and Crystal followed also. The others were concerned for Wendy but they can't waste time so they follow their teammates!
Going through the Sky Labyrinth they go through it as best they can, however they find out that the whole thing can rotate making it even more of a challenge then they realized. Also they did expect Natsu to start getting Motion Sick though the Mascot known as Mato explains that the whole Labyrinth has a spell casted that prevents stuff such as Motion Sickness or Fear of Heights so it is fair for every competitor in the running. The group continued on the path when they ran into Twilight Ogre, the group that had been harassing Fairy Tail through the 7 years, they found that group had drawn a map and they realized they could take other Teams' maps themselves to their advantage. Gathering many maps they have Lucy look through them as they were able to reach the Center Lucy has a special Celestial Spirit which has the power of a compass pointing to their destination. They hurry quickly seeing the Door with Goal above it along with the Mascot to congratulate the Teams that arrived. "Crystal! Erza Scarlet! Gray Fullbuster! Lucy Heartfillia! And Natsu Dragneel! Woohoo! Congratulations Team Fairy Tail! You cleared the Preliminary Round!" However the problem is they were the last Team to make it to the goal which made it really hit hard on them. Even though they made it, the effort of them being the last team to be verified was a bit of a letdown.
Mato has a hologram of himself that appears in the skies to explain that the 8 Teams have been selected, though they won't be revealed until the Opening Ceremonies! All teams will be revealed in the Colosseum known as Domus Flau!
Day 1 of the Grand Magic Games
Until the sun rose, civilians all sat in the stands as it was time to begin the Opening Ceremony! Inside the Colosseum the team wore special garb given by Gramps, all of them representing the color purple, Crystal's new Trench Coat with a White Fairy Tail emblem on the spot where the Heart is. However the heartbreaking news was that everyone found Wendy, but her magic was depleted and she had no memory of what happened. For now she had to get some rest to get back on her feet. The team of 5 heads out towards the arena.
"Now it's time to meet our competitors! First up in 8th place an Old school bunch of Wizards from Magnolia! They had luck in the Prelims, now they're rearing to take back First place by force! It's Fairy Tail!" The GMG Announcer known as Chapati Lola introduces the First Team and next to him are Co commentators being Yajima a former member of the Council and a old friend to Makarov, next to him is a member of Blue Pegasus and known as Miss Fiore which is Jenny Realight! Though when the group was introduced they were getting boos from the audience due to being known for coming in Last every year. They see the rest of their comrades cheering for them and also Yajima expects to see some exciting events from them, then the group sees a certain someone appear which surprises them. "Is that really?" Crystal questioned seeing the young girl Founder Mavis Vermillion! Though only those with Fairy Tail's Emblem are able to see her spirit form as she wanted to witness this instead of being stuck on Tenrou Island. "You know, I feel rather confident knowing Founder Master Mavis is watching us!" Crystal says seeing the cheerful person sitting on the edge with the rest of the guild.
"Next up is the Team that came 7th place in the Prelims, the rowdy army of Hellhounds, Quatro Cerberus!" The 5 members of Quatro Cerberus walk out. "And coming in 6th is a Guild filled to the fairer sex, It's Mermaid Heel!" The 5 members of Mermaid Heel are all females! "Whoa a Guild of only Women? That's certainly unexpected to see here!" Crystal exclaimed seeing the 5 members, but she couldn't help but look at the girl with the hood on which she was getting familiar vibes from. "In 5th place, a glimmer in the Darkness is Blue Pegasus!" 4 of the Members were familiar faces that being Ichiya, Hibiki, Ren, and Eve. However the last Team member is in what looks to be a Bunny suit which masks their identity for now. "Next in 4th place, is Lamia Scale!" Their team held Lyon, Yuka, Jura, Toby, and a girl who looks closely similar to Sherry. They introduced her as Sherria, a cousin to Sherry. "Now to introduce our 3rd Place Team! What a shocker scooping in from a midnight dreary this gloomy bunch are making their debut in this year's Games! Give it up for Raven Tail!" He announces as the whole Fairy Tail group looks shocked to hear that. "Raven Tail, isn't that." Crystal started saying. "It's the enemy Guild to Fairy Tail. One created by Ivan, also known as Master Makarov's Son who was banished from the guild due to some actions that harmed the Guild!" Erza explained to her. Crystal had heard about them from Master Makarov. "Why is a Dark Guild Participating?!" Makarov questioned seeing the group surprised and angered! The announcer reads some papers explaining the sudden reasons, as they have been active a lot and mentioning they have gained approval to be an official Guild by the Council.
The 2 groups glared at one another when the person in armor chuckled mentioning about Wendy recovering which explained who the attacker was towards her.
"Our 1st Place runner up is, Oh Wow! What a surprise! This Year's competition just got a whole lot more interesting Folks!" He announces and everyone looks surprised to see the group. "Is Fairy Tail Team B!" Which consists of Gajeel, Laxus, Juvia, Mirajane, and also what looked to be Mystogan however it is Jellal in the garb looking like him. There was a rule explaining that 2 Teams were able to participate, which meant both Fairy Tail groups made it through the Prelims! "And now Last but certainly not least, is the Team that came in 1st Place in the Preliminaries! That's right you love them! Now Scream for the most powerful Guild in all of Fiore! The one and only Sabertooth!" They see Sting and Rouge in the group of 5 which made sense as they are the biggest well known members. Once all the teams were announced a large stone tablet appeared showing the schedule for the Grand Magic Games. It labels it going for 7 Days, the first 4 had unknown events plus battles with the fourth day being a Tag Team Battle instead, the rest are unknown. "Each one of the rounds will begin with a Contest! Participants will then be Ranked from First to Eighth Place! The Teams will be awarded points depending on how they rank in the contests. Additionally teams are allowed to select which of their members they want to compete! After that we have battles! These bouts should come as quite a treat to all you fans! Since it was your suggestions that created these matchups!" Chapati explains reading the papers of what happens. "The Battle Rules are Simple. Each Team will square off as shown here the winning teams will be awarded 10 points while the losing teams get none! In the case of a draw both teams will be awarded 5 points! Ready for action? Then let's get started with the First Contest of the Grand Magic Games! One we call Hidden!"
For this event the participants are as follows, Yeager from Quatro Cerberus, Beth Vanderwood from Mermaid Heel, Nalpudding from Raven Tail, Eve Tearm from Blue Pegasus, Rufus Lore from Sabertooth, Lyon Vastia from Lamia Scale, Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail A, and Juvia Lockser from Fairy Tail B!
Once all participants are gathered the arena then forms a full on town using mirage magic! The audience is given lacrima vision watching all participants, and rules state that they are all Hiding and Seeking. The Main objective is locating others and if a person lands a hit will gain a point while the hit person will lose a point to compete for the Ranks of the event. Then suddenly mirage creates tons of clones of all participants. Attacking a fake participant guarantees losing a point. Players have 30 minutes to score points to take first, and if anyone who touches a fake or gets hit by another competitor will be warped to another spot of the arena. Though during the competition the guy Nalpudding was only going straight for only the Fairy Tail teams for some reason. Then Rufus of Sabertooth used his magic called Memory Make and struck all 7 of the other participants with ease! And through the time limit the teams gain these based on Rankings. Sabertooth taking 1st giving them 10 points, Raven Tail taking 2nd giving them 8 points, Lamia Scale taking 3rd giving them 6 points, Blue Pegasus taking 4th giving them 4 points, Mermaid Heel taking 5th giving them 3 points, Quatro Cerberus taking 6th giving them 2 points, Fairy Tail B taking 7th giving them 1 point, and Fairy Tail A taking last with nothing to gain.
Gray felt frustrated that he didn't do good in the round but he wasn't going to let that slip next time!
Now the event was over it was now time for the four 1 on 1 fights depicted! The first fight chooses Lucy of Fairy Tail A against Raven Tail's Flare Corona. Everyone else went into their stands so the 2 competitors could battle it out. "You got this Lucy! Give that Redhead a taste of what you can do!" Crystal cheers for her. The Mascot tells them that they have 30 minutes for the match to either have the opponent be knocked out or forced to forfeit for there to be a winner. The match begins with Lucy summoning Tarus and then Scorpio which shows now she can summon 2 spirits at once! Plus she was able to have her spirits combine their strengths into a stronger attack! Crystal was getting pumped seeing Lucy kicking butt! Though what was wild was that Flare could make her hair become fire or make it change shape which is known as Crimson Hair. Though Lucy brought out Cancer the Crab to counter and have him cut the wild hair! Flare was not having it as she tried catching Lucy with her hair on the legs which burned the boots. Then Flare has her hair drilled into the ground as Lucy watches carefully but nothing has happened. Though Flare had different plans as she pointed in a direction which Crystal noticed seeing her crazed expression. Lucy turned left and Crystal looked at the same direction and from a quick moment both girls see the red hair near little Asuka with the rest of the guild which Lucy tried to warn her but Flare was not allowing it so she has her hair grab Lucy and smashed her to the ground and warned her not to speak or Asuka gets her neck snapped. "That redhead bitch! Using a secret hostage to take advantage is the dirtiest trick! Especially one that was a Dark Guild!" Crystal thought in anger gripping the stone railing. Although Natsu had heard everything with his hearing like Crystal did! So he is quickly hurrying over to the others! "Come on Natsu! Please get to them in time!" Crystal thought desperately while Flare was striking Lucy with her hair as well as torturing her, although in quick swiftness Natsu reached the others and burned the strands of hair near Asuka and saved the day! "YOU'RE IN THE CLEAR LUCY!" Natsu shouted to her, in which Crystal smirked. Since both him and Crystal were Dragon Slayers they could hear why Lucy wasn't fighting back. "Don't underestimate the hearing of a Dragon Slayer." Crystal muttered to herself.
Lucy summons Gemini to get her out of her current situation and she has them turn into her, although the last time they turned into Lucy last time was when she was in only a bath towel. The two then start to chant together holding hands, which Crystal and Hibiki recognized. "That spell, she used that on Angel back during the time with Nirvana! This is surely gonna be the winning spell for us!" She says watching the scene happening. They finished the chant for Urano Metria and were about to launch the attack at Flare, but suddenly nothing happened strangely. Everyone in the crowd was baffled or confused wondering why nothing happened. "The spell vanished?!" Erza asked in disbelief while Crystal smashed her fists on the railing in anger! "Impossible! There is no way that would have just up and just vanished in thin air! I saw the whole thing before, and there is no way someone could stop that! Except those who could cancel it!" Crystal was seriously angered and looked towards Raven Tail which could be the only answer, but it can't be proven without full proof they did something! Even Yajima knew something was fishy as he had an expression of suspicion and anger.
After Lucy's loss the next battles were Ren of Blue Pegasus against Arana of Mermaid Heel which Ren takes the victory. 3rd Battle is Warcry of Quatro Cerberus against Orga Nanagear of Sabertooth, and of course Orga is the victor with quick action. The final one is Jellal substituting in Fairy Tail B against Jura of Lamia Scale, and the winner is Jura only because Jellal casted some familiar magic in which Ultear and Meredy did a certain something to make him stop, basically having Meredy use her magic linking with him and Ultear doing actions on her so Jellal would have the same reaction. And for the victors they gain 10 points each for their teams.
Listing the current status with Sabertooth in 1st with 20 points, Raven Tail in 2nd with 18 points, Lamia Scale in 3rd with 16 points, Blue Pegasus in 4th with 14 points, Mermaid Heel in 5th with 3 points, Quatro Cerberus in 6th with 2 points, Fairy Tail B in 7th with 1 point, and in Last is Fairy Tail A having no points for Today's standings. Even the crowd booed the members of Fairy Tail knowing this would turn out as expected.
For the night the guild gathered and decided to drink, even though they got terrible luck on the first day, it still isn't over yet. Natsu did declare he was gonna participate for the next event which made Gajeel decide to join in also. Which the other 6 will be a mystery for until the next day.
They did meet with one of Quatro Cerberus' S-Class wizards Bacchus who fights being drunk which seemed weird but it sometimes does have quirks in combat, Crystal did feel a bit of a chill wondering how strong this guy is. Though she can't let her nerves get to her.
Crystal's GMG Log Day 1; The First day of the Grand Magic Games, and it doesn't go well. We did make it through the preliminaries though we didn't realize Gramps had made Gajeel and Laxus be in a second team along with Mirajane, Juvia, and Jellal who disguises himself as Mystogan, originally the Edolas version of Jellal. The First Event was called 'Hidden' which is like Hide and Seek, all the contestants can hide and seek others there were also mirage clones which they could use to their advantage. Though it really felt like Raven Tail was definitely after our heads! Not only that when Lucy was about to cast Urano Metria, it suddenly didn't happen! There was only one explanation, Raven Tail did something to prevent Lucy from taking the win! I had seen what happened when she casted that against Angel the first time! Both our teams are currently in Last place, as half the teams are in double digit points due to the battles. But they'll see what we are truly capable of, perhaps I'll have a time to shine if I am chosen for Tomorrow's Battles.
Day 2 of the Grand Magic Games
The second day of the Grand Magic Games begins with the two commentators along with special guest Jason of Sorcerer Magazine. Chapati explains the Event for this day is called 'Chariot' in which the competitors must cross a path of moving chariots and falling off will disqualify participants. The competitors for this match are of course Natsu and Gajeel of Fairy Tail A and B respectively, Ichiya from Blue Pegasus, Yuka from Lamia Scale, Sting from Sabertooth, Risley Law from Mermaid Heel, Bacchus from Quatro Cerberus, and lastly Black Snake of Raven Tail. During the event at the end is Sting, Gajeel, and Natsu. Apparently not just Natsu, but Gajeel seems to have started getting Motion Sickness like Natsu does, as well as Sting seeing the three Dragon Slayers are far behind the other 5. Bacchus showed off his incredible strength which was impressive as he came in 1st for the event, Black Snake taking 2nd, Risley in 3rd, Yuka 4th, and Ichiya 5th. Meanwhile the trio of Dragon Slayers were still struggling getting across. Sting questioned why they would go so far after all the time that Fairy Tail used to not care what people think of them, so would they go so far? Natsu declares that he's doing this for all their friends, for those who had been struggling all years they had been through, they wanted to do this for them and for their sake after keeping the whole guild together! The other guild members started crying from Natsu's speech at how much he cares about them and how he has to do what he can to return that Fairy Tail spirit their Guild once had! Even some of the crowd were getting emotional after Natsu's speech and started cheering unlike yesterday!
It took some time but Natsu and Gajeel took 6th and 7th respectively with Sting taking last. It was a struggle but now it was time for the fights for the day, and the First match is Black Snake of Raven Tail going against Toby of Lamia Scale! Also in the middle of the match making bets having Toby betting if he wins he learns Black Snake's actual name, but if Toby loses he tells about his secret that no one knows. "Wagering in the middle of the fight? Hmm I wonder." Crystal said quietly thinking about what she would bet on. As the fight continued, Black Snake used Mimic magic copying sand magic to knock Toby out and he explains his secret is on finding socks and Black Snake shredded the one around his neck.
"Let's move on to round 2 of Today's battles. First from Quatro Cerberus it's the god of Wine! Bacchus! Following the members of Team Fairy Tail A!" Chapati started. "Crystal!" Everyone was a bit surprised at this sudden choice. "Huh? Me?" She questioned as Erza pats her on the shoulder. "You've got this one. Believe in your heart you can win, and victory will be all yours." She tells her as Crystal starts feeling a bit nervous. "Of course."
Author - originally Elfman was to face Bacchus in the anime, however I wanted a way for Crystal to at least participate once in the Grand Magic Games. And this felt like the best idea from the whole Arc for her to have a chance to shine. So everything in this match will be original as best I can make it!
Crystal jumps down into the arena and walks forward standing a few feet away from Bacchus who was on his side holding a bottle in his hand having a smile on his face. "Hey. What do you say we make our own bet? Like those last guys did." He asked her. "Like what?" Crystal asks him. "Well, I originally had thought about suggesting a few gals to spend the day with me. But you actually make a better suggestion. How about for the rest of the day we go on a date?" He suggests as Crystal looked shocked and a bit disturbed at the idea.
"Oh hell no! He ain't gonna do anything weird with her! I know she won't allow it!" Sakore shouted in anger and with a slight blush. "Come on Crystal, don't let this guy win the fight!" Makarov was a bit surprised seeing Sakore get emotional from Bacchus' wager. Though he must have realized why he was being like that. "Ah youth. I'm certain those two will have an interesting life when that day happens." He thought to himself.
"Now it's your turn. If you win?" He asked her and she didn't like the idea of hanging out with this guy. So she has a strong aura flow showing she wasn't gonna let this happen. "Listen here dude. If anyone is gonna win this fight it'll be Fairy Tail!" The fight had begun with Crystal trying to get some hits though Basschus was incredible with his martial arts and strength, which Crystal wasn't using her magic yet only to get a test of what she is currently dealing with.
"I'm gonna have a wild time tonight! Oh yeah!" He says while Crystal stood on her feet again. She goes charging at him trying to land on some hits, though she gets hit by his palms instead of his fists which was certainly a first. "This guy uses his palms. And his strength is unbelievable, sure he showed it during the event but I guess I really underestimated his skills being an S-Class Wizard. And Erza also warned me last night this guy has enhanced power when drunk. However I am not going down without a good fight! I'll show the strength of an Ice Dragon Slayer!" Crystal thought to herself as she got back on her feet. "Try this move then!" She takes a certain stance which all of Fairy Tail as well as Lyon know well. "Ice Dragon's Lance!" Mimicking Gray's Lance attack she launches a multitude of lances in a spread out formation which Bacchus dodges most of them until. "Ice Dragon's Battle Axe!" Crystal does another one of Gray's attacks doing a horizontal attack which lands on Bacchus! "I'll say this once. This fight has only just started! But also I never mentioned what I wanted." She started. "If I win this fight, then you and your entire Guild are renamed into Quatro Puppy!" She declares, in which he snorted a bit at that.
"Ha! I would've gone with that as well! Now Crystal will show that manly strength she has!" Elfman comments as Bacchus agrees with the bet and takes the bottle and starts guzzles down all of his alcohol inside, showing he is going all out now. "Hit me with your best shot!" He says now truly ready for a brawl. Crystal felt nervous seeing how he is now, and she knows that he will be tough to beat while he is drunk. "Then let's do this!" She shouted ready, as Bacchus charged at her and landed 7 hits with great speed! "Feel that!" He asks when looking back at her and looks in disbelief that he struck an ice clone which shattered and from above she struck him with a kick to the ground! "Looks like you slipped, that one has been a clone the entire time while I jumped into the air waiting for the right moment!" She declared! The two duke it out as Crystal wasn't getting many hits off him. "You know how to get my blood pumping! This has gone Wild!" He says excited! Crystal had used up some of her magic but she wasn't losing this for her guild!
"I have a question for you. Have you ever tried Drunk Ice Skating before?" She questioned him and he looked at her confused. Crystal then takes the pose of Ice-Maker Magic. "Another Ice Make spell. Wonder what she's got planned." Gray says, watching carefully. "Ice-Make Floor!" Crystal slams her hands on the ground and she turns the entire battlefield frozen! "Whoa! In an outstanding performance in the fight, Crystal has frozen the ground of the arena!" Chapati comments witnessing the sudden events. "Looks as if the little lady has mimicked Gray's Ice-Maker Magic. She's been observing very carefully." Yajima assumes seeing the sudden action while Jason comments with 'So Cool!' "Face an Ice Wizard on Ice! Let's see you dance on ice like a regular floor!" She calls out while Bacchus had never moved on ice which made it easier for as a open target! Crystal moves on the ice like she is skating and lands blows on Bacchus like never before! He tried dodging a few attacks but he slipped most of the time and he tried getting his balance. "Oh man! Drunk Ice Skating is harder than I expected!" He says getting his footing once again also lets out a couple of hiccups from being drunk. "Then I guess it's time I end this." Crystal said while he looked up at her clasping her fists together. "Dragon Slayer's Secret Art; Sub Zero, Glacier!" She freezes Bacchus in a mountain of Ice leaving him vulnerable to move.
"Amazing! Crystal has encased Bacchus in a mountain of Ice, leaving him completely stationary!" Chapati comments as the said girl then places her hands on the floor and feet positioned like she is gonna launch herself, in which she will! "Dragon Slayer's Secret Art; Sub Zero, Comet Collision!" Crystal's whole body is surrounded by an icy aura as her hair turns into shiny blue color, she then launches herself directly at her opponent, breaking the entire mountain of ice landing her head into his exposed gut knocking the wind out of him as Crystal carefully lands on the ground as Bacchus falls onto his back down for the count. Everything was silent for a bit until the crowd started cheering! "And it's over! Crystal has completely knocked out Bacchus giving Fairy Tail A 10 points bringing them in the double digits!" Chapati announces, in which the Quatro Puppy guild looked dumbfounded how their best man lost! Crystal stood up on her feet as she dispelled the icy floor looking at the crowd and raised her arm into the air! "Listen up everyone watching! Fairy Tail won't back down! This whole thing is just beginning!" She shouted as people cheered at her amazing performance! Even the whole guild was proud of her victory!
After they cleared out, Crystal got bandaged up from the heavy blows she was given against Bacchus though she could still move around as she wasn't hit by the 7 strikes from before. She goes back in reserve as Wendy has finally made a full recovery but Crystal is still able to join them to watch the remaining fights.
The 3rd match of Day 2 is Mirajane of Fairy Tail B against Jenny of Blue Pegasus who takes the place of Ichiya after he exhausted himself from the Chariot Event. Although this wasn't a fight the two ladies started posing in bikinis which of course the crowd goes bonkers seeing them doing these.
"Geez. I can't believe Mirajane would do something so Bold in a crowd of people. I would never do such things ever to embarrass myself." Crystal says as she blushes from witnessing the two girls posing. Though some of the other female members such as 3 from Mermaid Heel, and both of the cousins Sherry and Sherria of Lamia Scale joined as well. Mavis then went over to Team A encouraging them to join in and Erza agreed on the thought which Crystal questioned what was happening. There were some questionable outfits that were quite revealing. They even did a wedding dress selection, in which Crystal wore a bright blue dress with sky blue rose on the left strap of her dress. "Wow, this dress is really something. I hope maybe I can keep this dress, if I were to marry someone." She said to herself. "You look very beautiful in that." She turned to see Sakore in a black and silver tuxedo seeing his well dressed appearance made Crystal blush from his comment and his appearance. They were about to go for the next modelling round when Lamia Scale's Guild Master Ooba Babasaama joined in the fray in a swimsuit, but instead the elderly woman ruined the entire mood for everyone else so everyone returned to their places and getting back into their original uniforms back leaving only Mirajane and Jenny left to finish up what they started. Then Jenny declares they should do a bet and the loser has to pose in Sorcerer Magazine in their Birthday Suit (Meaning being completely naked). In which Mirajane accepts the bet, the last round would be Combat and Jenny reveals she has a Take Over type magic which is Machina Soul, and that is when Mirajane reveals a new She-Devil Take Over form called Sitri which Erza claims is her strongest Satan Soul form! And then Mira attacks and easily takes down Jenny giving Fairy Tail B 10 points for battle victory!
The last fight for today showcases Kagura Mikazuchi from Mermaid Heel against Yukino Agira from Sabertooth. This one will be an interesting battle as it stands Kagura is the strongest wizard of Mermaid heel, though not much is known about Yukino so everything is currently a mystery. She then proposes they do a bet like all the others did and wager their lives which felt out of hand to raise the stakes like that!
Then Yukino pulls something which surprises people, especially Lucy in particular! "Is that what I think it is Lucy?!" Wendy asks her, seeing the object held by Yukino! "Oh wow! She's a Celestial Wizard?!" And true to Lucy's words, Yukino summons The Paired Fish Pisces! The Fish are black and white which are also long like serpents! "Wow! So that's one of the remaining 12 Zodiacs, Pisces! I'll be honest, these two look menacing coming face to face!" Crystal claimed, seeing the second to last Zodiac Spirit not yet seen! The Pair Fish swerved around to attack Kagura, but she was able to dodge with her impressive leaping. That was when Yukino held a second gold key, meaning it was the last one of the 12 Zodiac Keys never seen before! She calls upon the Heavenly Scales Libra, who looks to be a female human-like spirit in a belly dancer-like outfit and dangling from her hands are scales holding them like a puppeteer! Libra is able to alter a person's field of gravity keeping Kagura in place and open for an attack! However it seems Kagura was able to rebound the gravity pressure onto the Celestial Spirits instead which made things difficult now Yukino sends her two spirits away seeing how she is low on options to win the fight. "I'm afraid you leave me with no choice. I'll have to open the 13th Gate." Yukino said, which Kagura was a bit surprised at what she meant, even Lucy was surprised also. "Hold on, did I hear that right? Did she just say the 13th Gate?" Lucy asks, surprised. "Wait, what does she mean by 13th?" Crystal asked, a bit confused. "I was always told there were 12 Zodiac Keys in existence. I've heard about a 13th Key, but I thought it was just a rumor. Apparently that key belongs to a Celestial Spirit! Who's stronger than all of the Zodiacs!" She explains and they see Yukino pull out another key which is another gold with a black design wrapped around it. Dark fog started appearing as the sky turned dark! "Open Gate of the Snake Charmer. Ophiuchus!" Yukino summons the special and rare 13th Zodiac Spirit being a large black metal-plated snake!
What Kagura did was unreal, she destroyed the Zodiac without even drawing out her weapon and she knocked down Yukino! This gives Mermaid Heel 10 points for Kagura's victory. Meaning Sabertooth scored nothing for the day.
As this ends the day, the scores now show Raven Tail in 1st with 36 points, Sabertooth in 2nd with a stationary 20 points along with Lamia Scale with equal score, Mermaid Heel in 4th with 19 points, Blue Pegasus in 5th with 17 points, and a triple way tie with 12 points is Fairy Tail A, B, and Quatro Puppy!
As Night fell the Quatro Puppy gang joined with Fairy Tail in drinking and most of the guild fell unconscious from the amount of drinks. "Hey. Crystal was it? That match sure was Wild! I had an awesome battle! Next time I'll practice doing Drunk Ice Skating!" Bacchus tells her. She smirked at how he and his buddies are. "We'll have to see when that time comes! I can't wait!" She says as Bacchus and his group start to leave then Lyon and Sherria visit them.
Walking out at night Natsu, Lucy, Crystal, Wendy and their Exceeds walk to find the inn when they run into Yukino the Celestial Wizard of Sabertooth. She wanted to give her 2 Spirits to Lucy, but she couldn't accept them from her. She explains to them that Sabertooth will likely have Minerva who is the strongest mage of the Guild. The person named Minerva wasn't around so Yukino took her place but after this day's event they will deal with all 5 of the strongest in Sabertooth. After the explanation Yukino left while Natsu felt she wasn't as harsh as the other members of Sabertooth. Though Crystal felt that Yukino was holding back her emotions for some reason, Natsu however was going to find the reason why!
When Natsu ran to apologize to her, he found out Yukino was forcefully kicked out of the Guild by the Master which surprised him and gravely angered him. So he had gone to mess with the Master of Sabertooth, however the mage known as Minerva had stopped the quarrel forcing him to leave.
Crystal's GMG Log Day 2; After the events we have climbed to the double digits! We were sorta lucky Natsu got 2 points in the Chariot event which made it difficult for him due to Motion Sickness. But in the battles this was different, I participated in match 2 against Quatro Cerb- I mean Quatro Puppy's S-Class Mage Bacchus. He had great skills in martial arts and it was rough in the battle, however I was able to pull through and win our team 10 points putting us in a 3 way tie with them and Team B of our guild! However what now worries me is that someone from Raven Tail asked a group of mysterious guys to capture someone but they caught the wrong person it seemed. But the question is why specifically Lucy? Almost everything we, of Fairy Tail do it's always something that has been involving Lucy. However I should focus on what will happen for tomorrow's events. We have 3 days for the Grand Magic Games, perhaps the next event we can turn things around against everyone else. However I can not help but have this strange sensation that something will happen here.
Day 3 of the Grand Magic Games
It is now the 3rd day of the Games which is the halfway point of the event and joining the commentators for the day as a guest is the Member of the Magic Council Army Lahar.
This day's event is called Pandemonium, so the contestants joining Erza decided to take it for Fairy Tail A. "Well if Erza's taking the chance then perhaps I will." Sakore suggested in Fairy Tail B as few of them felt against it. Although before during the night he sort of asked Master Makarov to show him what he could do for the Second Team for Today. He decided to allow it only for today, and the others wondered where Mysotgan was. Sakore told them that the guest commentator was the one who arrested him before. Next up was a familiar girl that had joined in with Mermaid Heel, it is Millianna! "Wait. Isn't that girl one of Erza's old friends?" Crystal asked and were surprised she had joined a guild! The contestants are as follows, Orga from Sabertooth, Jura from Lamia Scale, Hibiki from Blue Pegasus, Obra from Raven Tail, Novali from Quatro Puppy, Millianna from Mermaid Heel, Erza from Fairy Tail A, and Sakore from Fairy Tail B.
From the sky above a magic circle forms and some kind of castle emerges and falls to the ground. "Before you stand a castle full of vicious monsters! That's Pandemonium!" The Mascot Mato explains. "I take it we're to do battle with these monsters?" Jura questions him on the event before them. "Yes! You are correct sir! 100 terrifying beasts are lurking within the castle walls! But don't panic, there's no danger of them escaping and attacking the crowd. They are magical projections we created solely for this game! They are classified by their degree of difficulty, we have 5 Classes. D, C, B, A, and S! The distribution is shown off here!" On the screen it showed there being 50 monsters in the D Class, 30 in C, 15 in B, 4 in A, and only 1 S-Class Monster. He gives an onscreen look of a D class monster which horrified the audience. Mato explains that each person will be drawing a number for turn order for this event and they get to choose the specific amount they wish to fight off. Erza drew out 1 meaning she gets to start, while Sakore drew 8 being the last member to go. However Erza decides she will challenge all 100! Which surprised everyone, the contestants, the other teams, the crowd, even the commentators. The only ones who laughed were Natsu and Gray, seeing that she would do something like that! Mato was baffled and in disbelief Erza chose to face every single monster 1 vs 100!
Erza goes in and begins her battle facing the large amount of monsters she uses her Requip testing against the amounts of enemies, she has already decimated almost half of the D class monsters and a few C class monsters! Some used fire attacks while she used her flame empress armor, using all kinds of her sets of armor and weapons she was showing everyone how incredible of a Wizard she is! She continues clearing out the amounts of monsters and clearing them in groups, none of them being the S class monster yet. Though it is possible it could be the last one with 3 other monsters being an A class and 2 B class! There was a weird small creature which seemed odd until she destroyed the 3 lower class monsters, leaving the S class left! And from the view it looked to be a one eyed spider. Although what happens next is that the small critter changed its appearance into a 3 eyed large monster and the arena also changed! However it was no problem for Erza Scarlet, the S-Class Wizard of the Fairy Tail Guild! Everyone was awestruck seeing Erza completing the entire Event all by herself while everyone of Fairy Tail was proud and showed their happiness for her instant win for 1st place of the event!
And since the Event was completed by a single person they decided to provide a sub event for the remaining 7 who haven't competed for rankings. Mato has a device called the Magic Power Finder or MPF which measures Magic Power. Casting a spell on it shows the number of how strong the spell is, so Mato will use the scoring for ranking the remaining Teams. First off is Millianna and her score reaches 365. Unsure if it was good or not, but Lahar comments that her power would put her as a Squad Captain. Next is Novarli who scores 124, next Hibiki scores 95, next is Obra which only gets 4. However Sakore wasn't buying this as he looked at said character with a suspicious expression. "This guy isn't revealing his magic. He's hiding it for a reason, and I bet it's because of that guy in armor planning something." He thought in suspicion as Orga from Sabertooth is up next he casts his Black Lightning and scores up to 3825 making it the new lead, however Jura changes that using a powerful Earth spell and his score reaches 8544!
"That's incredible, I was told he is one of the 10 Wizard Saints and he sure brought that out!" Sakore thought to himself. "It's your turn now!" Mato calls out to him which snapped him out of his thoughts. "Oh right! So is it alright to give it my all then?" He asks the mascot. "That's the gist of it!" He answered which Sakore smirked. "Very well, but first I should remove these." He makes his arm guards and sleeves vanish revealing his silver Fairy Tail emblem on his left arm but also some bands with some markings on them. He removes the left one magically and the right one as they drop to the ground clinging against one another. "What do you suppose those bands are that Sakore just removed?" Chapati asks, watching the young wizard. "If I were to assume I believe those bands are Magic Suppressant Bands. They are mostly to suppress one's magic power and make it difficult to sense them." Lahar comments as he watches curiously at the mage getting himself ready. "Now then. Unleash your inner dormant power!" Sakore then unleashes a massive pressure of power that was causing a shockwave for a moment which surprises everyone then makes it stop as he lifts his left hand as it starts gathering energy into a small orb at the palm of his hand. "Unleash the power of light and destroy the power of darkness! I call upon the divine light! Advanced Light Technique!" He starts chanting as the orb finishes gathering power and grasps it in his hand with shines of light shining between the fingers! "Starburst Breaker!" He tosses the attack at the device which unleashes a devastating explosion showing a pillar of blue light shooting into the sky! After the amazing light show the dust blew away showing the score tallied at max to 9999 which granted Fairy Tail B top ranking of 7 Teams taking 2nd for today's event! "Oh my goodness! I can't believe it ladies and gentlemen! The MPF is history! His power is off the charts! This Guild is beyond incredible! Fairy Tail has made it through today's event by storm! Is this their true strength? Can anyone stop them now?!" Chapati commented as everyone cheered at the amazing spectacle and he turned to the crowd with a smile and raised his hand. "There ain't no stopping us now! Fairy Tail will be number One again!" Sakore shouted to the crowd hearing their loud cheers!
In the crowd one character in particular who has silver white hair, light tan skin, with shades covering his eyes, wearing mostly dark garments with a hoodie with silver trim lines on the sleeves, dark slim-fit pants, and dark grey shoes. He watched the whole event from the front row seat. "Well then Cous, I guess you have proven yourself to be an outstanding Wizard for your Guild. And I'm proud of you for that." He said seeing Sakore getting his bands back on and heading back to join up with his team.
Now it was time for the battles starting with Millianna from Mermaid Heel against Semmes from Quatro Puppy! It was rough but Millianna pulled through for a win! Next battle is Rufus from Sabertooth against Eve from Blue Pegasus, however with his Memory Maker Magic Rufus took the win.
But now it was time for an important match which is Laxus from Fairy Tail B against Alexei from Raven Tail! This fight starts off with Alexei hitting him hard at first, but Laxus starts making a comeback with his Lightning power! Although even if she felt this fight was back and forth, Crystal looked at the others of Raven Tail with her keen eye sight seeing them not moving a single inch one bit. "Those guys aren't even moving one bit unlike before. Why aren't they laughing or anything?" She thought to herself. She looked at the Team B group and noticed Sakore has his left eye closed and has a serious expression. "Why does he have one eye closed? It seems he doesn't seem to focus on the fight but something else."
Makarov then raised his hand with one finger pointing to the sky showing the sign as before showing he is always looking his way. Everyone saw him and for a while it then started revealing something else covered by Illusion Magic, it showed Laxus standing revealing the other 4 members of Raven Tail knocked down on the ground, while the ones in the stands were only projections. Not only that but the person known as Alexei was really disguised revealing to be the Guild Master Ivan also down on the ground! Not only did Laxus win the match but Raven Tail had broken 2 of the rules, the first is having the rest of the Team participating in a 1 on 1 match, and the second was the Guild Master joining the fray. So they are disqualified from continuing in the Games in which the soldiers take them away.
After the mess was cleaned up it was now time for the final match for Day 3! Which brings Wendy for Fairy Tail A going against Sherria of Lamia Scale. The fight begins as both girls use Wind type magic attacks, though one difference was Sherria's magic is black wind. Crystal felt there was something about it that felt familiar until the two started with. "Sky Dragon's" "Sky God's"
"Say what now?!" Crystal asked in disbelief of what she just heard! "Roar!/Bellows!" The two girls launch their attacks causing a collision of powerful magic! "So there's even a Wind Attribute type!" Crystal said, witnessing what she saw. "You know this magic?" Erza asks her. "Back on Tenrou Island me and Natsu fought against the member of Grimoire Heart Zancrow, he used a type of black fire which he called "God Slayer Magic". I was surprised when I heard of this type of magic, and now there's a Sky variant of it. I'll be honest, I'm sure Wendy will find this a difficult fight to win." She answered as the two girls unleashed more Sky Slayer magic at one another and then the two girls consumed air to power up and Wendy prepared her Advance Sky Dragon Spell! "Shattering Light; Sky Drill!" Wendy unleashes her spell trapping the two in a wind barrier and the wind sends Sherria flying into the air and then crash into the ground, it seemed like Wendy had taken the win however Sherria was able to heal her own wounds unlike Wendy.
Wendy wasn't gonna back down as the two continue the fight with everything they can and it goes on until the bell rings signalling that 30 minutes have gone which means both Fairy Tail A and Lamia Scale are given 5 points for a first draw! The two girls heal and Sherria asks that they should be friends, which Wendy accepts. To Crystal it felt like the cutest moment she had ever witnessed ever in her life.
Once the event and battles for the day are over the rankings now change with Sabertooth taking back 1st after Raven Tail's disqualification now at 34 points, Mermaid Heel in 2nd with 32 points, Lamia Scale in 3rd with 31 points, Fairy Tail B in 4th with 30 points, Fairy Tail A in 5th with 27 points, Blue Pegasus in 6th with 18 points, and Quatro Puppy in last with 14 points.
Everyone celebrated the victory obtained by both Erza and Sakore for taking the top Ranks for the day! "I never imagined you were hiding such extraordinary magic power in you." Makarov says sitting at the bar next to Sakore. "Hah, well back in my days my Cousin trained me every day before I joined Fairy Tail. And ever since I found I could conjure multiple elements and how strong my level of magic is, they had forced me to put on these bands to suppress my power so no one would think of trying to take it for themselves." He explains to the Master. "I see, that explains why you wanted to show off for today's event." He assumed while Sakore rubbed the back of his neck. "Honestly, yeah. Everyone from Tenrou Island had gotten incredibly strong over just 3 months. And Crystal has gotten her 2nd barrier unlocked now." He says looking towards said ice mage who was watching the others going at it with what Natsu does called Barrel surfing. "I'm proud of how far she has come. She has been a part of this family almost the same time as Lucy." Makarov says seeing everyone having a great time together. Sakore smiled seeing the Fairy Tail members enjoying themselves.
Crystal's GMG Log Day 3; What a day this has been! Our Teams took the top spots for Today's Event! Erza took on the challenge all by herself, challenging 100 monster projections and defeated every single one of them! So they brought in a sub event using a Magic Power Finder which scores how strong the person's magic is so the other Teams would be ranked for today scoring points. And to my surprise Sakore took 2nd place which I never honestly expected, he had Magic suppressant bands to hide his immense level of magic from the entire guild! For today's battles what was shocking during the fight with Laxus and the guy from Raven Tail called Alexei turned out to be Ivan the Guild Master, he used illusion magic to hide themselves and the other Raven Tail participants secretly joined but were ultimately beaten by Laxus but also disqualified for breaking rules. Last fight was finally Wendy's turn to shine, and her opponent is Sherria from Lamia Scale which they seemed similar for clumsiness, however what was really surprising is that Sherria's magic is Sky God Slayer Magic! Things just keep getting even more interesting day by day, we only have 2 days left for the whole thing to be completed. We still have a chance to take our Number 1 spot!
Day 4 of the Grand Magic Games
It is now day 4 of the Grand Magic Games, and now the next event is called Naval Battle in which contestants enter a giant sphere of water! The goal of this game is contestants have to knock their opponents out of the large bubble to compete for ranks, and the last person left will take 1st! Guest commentator is Rabian, the chairman of Scheherazade Theater.
Also when there are 2 competitors left a special rule will be implemented, it is called the 5 minute rule. If one of the competitors falls out while this timer is active then they will not take second but last place!
Today's contestants are as follows, Sherria from Lamia Scale, Jenny from Blue Pegasus, Risley from Mermaid Heel, Juvia from Fairy Tail B, Minerva from Sabertooth, Lucy from Fairy Tail A, and Rocker from Quatro Puppy, which has 6 females and only a single male for this match.
The match starts with Lucy summoning Aquarius which Juvia fights back with their water magic prowess as the two has equal strength causing some of the contestants to go off balance, Jenny knocked Rocker out first, while others were fighting, Juvia blasts 3 other opponents with using the power of her 2nd Origin using a new technique she created to represent her love for Gray. Although when she looked to see what Gray's reaction was due to her spell, his reaction was not what she expected. While distracted Minerva uses her magic to push Juvia out, leaving only her and Lucy left which now started the timer with only the two competitors left. Minerva uses her magic to attack Lucy and even takes away her keys and whip to make her unable to call her spirits to assist or defend herself. Lucy wasn't gonna give up as she declared Fairy Tail will be number 1 again. Minerva only stared at her as the timer finally ran out which means no one will take last now for either side. However Minerva looked angry as she cast more attacks at her, but she wasn't sending her out of the bubble, she was out right beating her with brutality!
"LUCY!" Crystal shouted seeing what was happening! Everyone was in complete shock and frightened while the members of Sabertooth enjoyed and laughed at this. The Fairy Tail A group looked toward them in full on anger! "YOU GUYS ARE GONNA PAY FOR THIS!" Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Crystal shouted to them! The referee calls the match to end as Minerva drops the gravely wounded Lucy and Team A hurries quickly having Natsu and Gray catch her! Wendy, Sherria, and Crystal hurry to her and cast healing magic, Natsu and Erza glared at Minerva in disgust while she remained neutral to their expressions. Crystal lets the other two continue their healing as she stands up and turns her head to the members of Sabertooth who joined up with Minerva as it looked to be an all out fight. She had an expression of anger and seriousness. "You should know this. Attacking one of our friends like that. Makes you Fairy Tail's enemy!" She tells them while they all had neutral reactions to her words like nothing. But they will very undoubtedly learn why you never anger anyone in Fairy Tail!
Lucy is taken to the infirmary unconscious as everyone is there worried about her and how she took a horrible beating. Luckily she was ok as she woke up and Happy gave her back her keys which she was happy to have them back. The others of Team B joined up because even though they were in different teams they are in the same guild and are also concerned for Lucy after what had happened. Sakore looked at Lucy resting as he clenched his fists in anger, while no one noticed a dark aura surrounding his right hand for a slight moment though he calmed down a bit. "Those Sabertooth jerks are gonna pay for this. To think they stoop this low because they think they are superior to everyone else." He said and the others agreed. That is when Master walked in with some news from the Game's Organizers saying that both Fairy Tail A and B teams must disband and form into 1 whole team and take the lowest score which is Team A having 35 points. And also so they could make it even for the upcoming battles for the day. Instead of waiting to find out who fights who, they will announce which teams square off in the tag battles! After today everyone will be given a day's rest on the 5th while on the 6th day will be the final event where all the teams participate.
"Natsu." Crystal called out to the Fire Dragon Slayer getting his attention. "I've got a good feeling in the Tag battles we are going up against Sabertooth. Honestly I wanna punch those guys in the face for what happened! Though that Sting guy seems to be only interested in you, so do me one favor. Show those guys at Sabertooth to never mess with a Fairy Tail Wizard!" She tells him and Natsu smirks. "You bet! I'll show them the strength of Fairy Tail!" He says as the two clap their hands together.
As Master Makarov sets up the new team they announce which Teams will be going head to head. The first Tag Team match being Blue Pegasus against Quatro Puppy, the second match will have Lamia Scale against Mermaid Heel, and the final match will be Sabertooth against the new Fairy Tail team consisting of Natsu, Gray, Erza, Gajeel, and Laxus!
The first match starts showing Blue Pegasus having Ichiya and the Rabbit against Quatro Puppy's Bacchus and Rocker. Then the person in the rabbit costume decided to reveal themselves by taking off the mask which happened to be Nichiya the Exceed Captain of Extalia's Imperial Guards! "Whoa! That guy is the Captain of Extalia's Guards!" Frost shouted seeing him! "It's Nichiya!" Pantherlily notices! They explain how Ichiya found him and brought him to Blue Pegasus. Bacchus knocked Nichiya out, now Ichiya was on his own but in a surprising turn of events he beat the two with a sudden increase in muscle mass which showed how he is a strong Wizard of Blue Pegasus!
The next match starts with Lyon and Yuka of Lamia Scale against Kagura and Milliana of Mermaid Heel! Kagura decided to let Milliana to take on the two boys and she was quite a difficult opponent for them while Kagura watches the 3 fighting, though some of Lyon's intelligent skills were able to lose her focus and he forms a Tiger with his motion Ice Maker and have Milliana run into a wall face first! So Kagura now steps in and she easily takes out Yuka leaving only her and Lyon in a 1 on 1 fight! As Lyon uses his magic to face against Kagura, but she uses her Gravity to slice his maker magic beasts and about to land the final blow on Lyon but the bell rang before she could land it meaning this match ends in a draw giving both teams 5 points!
Next it was time for the final match that lots of people have been waiting for, the last Tag Team fight consisting of Natsu and Gajeel for Fairy Tail going against the Twin Dragons Sting and Rogue of Sabertooth!
Crystal stared down seeing the 4 Dragon Slayer glare at one another now ready to observe the greatest battle that is about to be seen in all of Fiore! "Show those guys of Sabertooth to never mess with a Fairy Tail Wizard!" As she looks at the four, she recites the words she said to Natsu in her mind as this fight is already getting hype with the crowd cheering! The match begins with the Fairy Tail Wizards landing the first hits on their opponents! "White Dragon's Roar!" Sting unleashes his roar which is a stream of white magic energy and what is a surprise is he is able to turn his attack aiming at Gajeel which he sees coming and jumps away from it. "Shadow Dragon's Slash!" Rogue goes straight for Gajeel who blocks it with his Sword and flings him off. Natsu grabs Rogue by the face launching at Sting and unleashes his wing attack knocking the two!
"White and Shadow Dragons, so Sting is basically a Light Attribute Dragon Slayer, and Rogue is a Shadow Dragon Slayer. Quite a balanced pair I'll say. But what they displayed just now doesn't seem that impressive." Crystal noted as she carefully observed the match. Then the two Sabertooth Dragons unleash techniques called White Drive and Shadow Drive which gives the two auras of their element and a power boost!
Sting makes the first move with incredible speed and wailing attacks on Natsu! As Rogue goes for Gajeel who tries countering him but his attacks phase through Rogue like an intangible being! This turned the tables for the fight and while wailing on Natsu, Sting strikes his gut leaving some mark which Natsu tried to move but couldn't! This was Sting's White Dragon's Talon spell which leaves a stigma on the opponent leaving them paralyzed and wide open for an attack! With Gajeel he was struggling against Rogue's Shadow intangibility but when Rogue tries to attack, Gajeel catches his arm finding the weakness of his trait! As Sting charges at Natsu who smirks, once he got close Natsu landed a heavy blow which surprised Sting wondering how he could move so easily! When he got a look of his spell, he noticed Natsu was able to remove it by burning it, allowing him to move again!
The tables turned again as Natsu and Gajeel sent the duo flying into a wall! The two Dragon Slayers wail on them again, then Sting starts charging up his magic power! "Dragon Slayer's Secret Art! Holy Nova!" Sting leaps at Natsu with his fist charged with his power! However the result of the attack ended with Natsu catching Sting's fist with little effort and looking unphased causing the spell to be canceled! The Twin Dragons were getting beaten around and knocked to the ground by both Natsu and Gajeel, however this still wasn't over by a longshot yet! The two stood back up as there was a sudden pressure of power flowing from both Sting and Rogue! The two now have white and black scales on their bodies respectively! Their sudden appearance change made Crystal realize what the two had just achieved!
"Guess I shouldn't have underestimated them from the start. To think these two are able to go into that state willingly. Dragon Force." As Crystal said, they were in the greatest Form of any Dragon Slayer, the Dragon Force! Things were about to get intense as Sting decided he would face both Natsu and Gajeel himself! Natsu and Gajeel prepare for what Sting has for them as he launches at the duo with incredible speed and landing heavy blows! Now turning the tables again Sting has the advantage tossing the two around! "White Dragon's Holy Breath!" He blasts a wider roar attack from above down to the arena obliterating the floor! "Wow. Unbelievable, I never thought his power would reach this much! We might definitely be against the wall if they can't beat even one of the Dragon Slayers of Sabertooth!" Sakore said with a sweat drop expression while Crystal felt nervous, but she might expect Natsu to test Sting's strength before going for a possible comeback. Lacrima hologram screens show up revealing Natsu and Gajeel falling deep below the Arena as Sting dives down after them.
Natsu lands on one of the rubble and launches with a Sword Horn as Gajeel blasts Sting to the Underground floor with a Roar! Sting gathers magic in the palms of his hands and unleashes his Holy Ray which sends multitude spears hitting both Natsu and Gajeel greatly! It was a complete turn around again and again in this fight before, but both Natsu and Gajeel looked to be down for the count. Fairy Tail couldn't believe they were down, for a moment it looked like Sting had won but Natsu and Gajeel stood back up. "Holy crap and after all that they are back on their feet!?" Sakore says in amazement! However Crystal just smirked, seeming to expect this. "It wasn't over yet. Right now. This is where the Winner is truly decided!"
The two bickered over how Sting and Rogue move around until Natsu shoved Gajeel onto a minecart and pulled the level causing it to move and take Gajeel deeper underground! Sting and Rogue were surprised at this act as Natsu turned to them with a wide grin as he had flames from his fingertips forming 'Come on' showing he's gonna fight both Sting and Rogue by himself! "Now it's time for things to get all Fired Up!"
Sting and Rogue felt insulted that Natsu declared he could take both of them no problem! So the two go into Dragon Force again as Sting throws his punch but Natsu blocked it! "This is the power of a True Dragon Slayer! I should know! It's how I killed Weisslogia!" Sting declared in his clash against Natsu! "Is that so? Then I should use the same kind of power that I use to fight for my friends you laughed at!" Natsu's whole body lights in flames as he lands a punch at Sting sending him flying! Rogue comes from behind launching his Shadow Dragon's Roar, in which Natsu counters with his Roar overpowering him! Natsu was easily making this fight like it's nothing compared to all the other fights from before! Crystal smiled seeing the greatest turn around ever! So this time Sting and Rogue stand together conjuring their magic which starts rising incredibly preparing a Unison Raid! "Holy Shadow Dragon Flash Fang!" The two launch their powerful combined attack at Natsu who prepares to counter the blast! Crystal raises her hand to the sky pointing one finger upward and everyone else of Fairy Tail follows her movement. "Dragon Slayer's Secret Art! Flame Lotus; Exploding Flame Blade!" Natsu unleashes his advanced spell which breaks through both Sting and Rogue combined attack which causes an explosion knocking both of them down for the count! The fight finally comes to an end as Natsu wins the match bringing Team Fairy Tail up to 1st! "That was fun! Let's do it again sometime!" Natsu says to the duo who are barely conscious from the intense beating.
The scores are now Fairy Tail with 45 Points, Sabertooth with 44 Points, Mermaid Heel and Lamia Scale tied with 40 Points, Blue Pegasus with 30 Points, and Quatro Puppy with 15 Points!
"That's what Fairy Tail is all about! Never underestimate our Guild ever!" Crystal Shouted in excitement! After that they paid Lucy a visit and she believed that Natsu would definitely win this fight!
As night fell the group had a celebration after taking 1st place, but it wasn't over so now that they do get a rest day before the true final event starts for everyone! Then Gajeel arrived and had something to show the other three Dragon Slayers which seemed serious. They decided to follow him as did Lucy, Gray, and Sakore for curiosity, and he shows them what he found. What they saw were piles of bones in a large underground area. "Are all those bones?" Sakore asks in shock! "Those aren't just any bones. All of these are remains of Dragons." Crystal answered surprised seeing the large amount. Wendy then tried to use her other spell called Milky Way after drawing a Magic Circle it glows a green glow color and reveals a large see through Dragon as it roars scaring the group which he laughed about. He calls himself Zirconis the Jade Dragon, he tells them that dragons ruled about possibly 400 years belonging to them and humans. One dragon in particular wanted to live alongside humans as some agreed, others didn't so it became a war with the species to be evenly matched. Then the side to coexist made a plan creating the Magic now to be called Dragon Slaying Magic upon humans, leading them to join the battle as well. Then those who were given the magic turned on the Dragons turning it all into a massacre, one being which even talking about him scares Zirconis. This person bathed in Dragon's blood that he then became one, which is the fate for those who use Dragon Slaying Magic! This war that happened had come to be known as 'The Dragon King Festival' and the name of said human is Acnologia! That name stroked fear into the group as they remembered he arrived and almost obliterated them all on Tenrou Island 7 years ago! After that he vanished which was all that was felt of his spirit.
"What that guy said… Is it possible I'm gonna turn into a Dragon as well? I still have more things I need to know!" Crystal thought to herself. Sakore saw her expression and felt concerned about knowing what she was thinking. "That's not very likely." A man's voice spoke up. "Who's there?!" Sakore demands. "I took the liberty of eavesdropping. It would appear our research is in line with historical fact after all." They see a dark skinned man with a black afro wearing armor. "Tell me, have you heard of the demons from the Book of Zeref?" He asks them, and they have encountered a few of them such as Lullaby and Deliora. "Acnologia is similar to them. For it was Zeref himself who turned the Dragon Slayer into that creature of Death. That means if you wish to conquer the black dragon. You must find a way to subdue the Black Wizard Zeref." He explains to them. Though this guy in armor wasn't alone, Yukino was also with him which showed she joined him by an offer he gave her.
He introduces himself as Arcadios the Colonel of the Cherry Blossom Knights, he explains that he is working on a project that requires a Celestial Wizard and Yukino was glad to help on it. He asks the group to follow him and they lead them to the castle which is giant. He also gives his apologies for trying to kidnap Lucy which explains the reason with the guys who had taken Wendy before. He continues by explaining the Grand Magic Games is used to absorb magic from the recent events and he brings them to a giant door which he calls it 'Eclipse' a door that will change everything and without the surmass amount of power it wouldn't have been constructed. When the sun and moon interlock they would use the 12 Zodiac keys to open it which lies beyond it is Time itself. As the plan to go 400 years into the past to kill Zeref before he obtained immortality and his destruction is the goal.
Sakore then remembers something he was told by a relative of his long ago!
-Sakore's Flashback-
Out on the fields after his training Young Sakore was sitting next to a young adult male with silver hair. "Hey Cous. You wanna know something?" He asks his young cousin. "What is it?" Sakore asks his Cousin. "Years before you were born when I was about to reach my teen years. Your mother had brought me to Crocus seeing a Doorway where Time travel is possible." He explains to him. "Time Travel? Is that possible?" Sakore asks, a bit unsure.
"I was a bit skeptical at first also. However as you know your mother 'Used' to be a Celestial Wizard and she gave up her keys to Layla Heartfilia an old friend of hers. Your mother gave up her Celestial Magic to raise a family. Though I met someone there which I didn't understand at first but now I realized the Person who came through the doorway is an ancestor to Layla." He described carefully remembering the events. "She said she came through with 5 kids but we didn't see them. What we did see was 5 lights shooting through the ceiling. Where those went we had no idea, however I believe those 5 were possibly the kids she mentioned about."
Sakore was a bit surprised by what his cousin was telling him. "Promise you will keep this between us two. But if something were to happen like seeing the door yourself. Just explain to everyone that the Door is only able to travel through in Time, nothing more." He said and Sakore wasn't sure why he would explain this to someone as young as him.
End of Flashback
While they finished talking about how the sun and moon will intersect on the 7th day of July which is the same day the Dragons vanished for the Dragon Slayers and when Crystal was found frozen. Suddenly soldiers surrounded them, which was ordered by the Minister Darton as he arrested him and took both Celestial Wizards as they brought the others outside, not allowing the Eclipse plan to go forth. Natsu tried to go against them but his magic power got absorbed by the door making him unable to move for a while.
The small group go back to their comrades and explain the situation of what they learned about.
Crystal's GMG Log Day 4; ok so to explain a few things I had broken a few pens trying to write this down, only due to being outraged about Today's event. The reason for that was because Sabertooth's strongest mage had brutally beaten Lucy so badly she would have almost killed her! I'm still angered by these actions. I wanted to freeze their entire hotel but Erza had stopped me from taking said actions because Natsu had already crashed and decided to show them to never banish guild members over a single loss, meaning Yukino's fight back on Day 2. However during the tag battles Natsu and Gajeel, or rather I should say 'Natsu' decided to make the fight 1v2 against Sting and Rogue. And literally he overpowered the Two's strongest combined attack with the power of his own Dragon Slayer Magic! Way to go Natsu, you are one the greatest Mages in all of Fairy Tail!
Sakore talks with Master Makarov for the plan for the final event tomorrow, using the idea of swapping Natsu with Juvia to make the Minister believe Natsu is still in recovery but make a small team to go rescue Lucy in the castle.
Crystal's GMG Log Day 5 (Rest Day); To explain further of what happened Gajeel led us Dragon Slayers to a den of Dragon remains and we were able to talk to a spirit of one who mentioned about the events of a Dragon War which they called it the Dragon King Festival which happened on the 7th of July. Colonel Arcadios told us about Eclipse as it absorbs magic power during the GMG and the plan to travel through time to end Zeref before he attains immortality which seemed like a risky plan. However the Minister had other plans, arresting not only him but taking both Lucy and Yukino also! This did not sit well with me, however we couldn't do anything while close to the door as it would take away magic power. So the soldiers led us outside and we returned to everyone explaining what happened. I didn't write this in my last Log as it was before Gajeel brought us. However the Master made plans for what we are gonna do for the finale of the GMG!
Day 6 of the Grand Magic Games; The Final Event!
Now it was the final Event for the Grand Magic Games as Mato is the Guest Commentator for the last day and final Match! All team members will be participating in this Ultimate Final Showdown! However in Team Fairy Tail Natsu is replaced with Juvia which was odd, but outside the coliseum is a new team for a hidden secret rescue mission! Consisting of Natsu, Crystal, Wendy, Mirajane, and all 4 Exceeds!
The contest starts as all Teams are gonna battle in the whole city of Crocus, any member who takes an opponent out gets a Point for the event. For a Secondary twist each team is to pick one member as Leader, and if the leader is taken out the team who beat their opponent gets 5 Points. As it started the Fairy Tail team stood completely still while all members of Quatro Puppy were taken out by members of Lamia Scale, Mermaid Heel, and Sabertooth. Yuka and Toby were knocked out by Kagura as the Blue Pegasus trio took out Beth and Arana of Mermaid Heel. With 9 opponents down and the cheering squad wondering why Fairy Tail wasn't moving, however, Mavis had watched all the other teams and had given a battle strategy to the team for a complete victory! She calls this Operation Fairy Stars to commence as the 5 members split up going their paths!
During the event Mavis had made predictions of what may happen, Rufus using his magic to hit them with a lightning attribute attack, but by the First Master's predictions the members were able to dodge it with a 2 second window, and Laxus taking the hit since it was a Lightning element attack which caused Rufus to be baffled that his attack was easily dodged and blocked by all of Fairy Tail! She predicted Erza encountering an opponent which she meets with Jenny of Blue Pegasus and easily takes her out! Gajeel takes down Eve and Ren as Gray eliminates Hibiki of Blue Pegasus leaving only 1 of their Team left!
Makarov was impressed and amazed by the rumors about her being true, with her incredible strategy and planning she and her team had won countless battles which earned her the title of 'Fairy Tactician'! "The Fairy Tactician?!" Sakore thought in amazement watching the screens seeing how her predictions were accurate and spot on! "If her calculations go as planned then we may win this thing by a landslide!" Sakore went from surprised to excited, continuing watching the whole event throw down. Jura takes down Ichiya, knocking out all of the members in Blue Pegasus, as Sherria takes out Risley leaving 2 members of Mermaid Heel left!
Meanwhile with Natsu's team Happy had a plan but Crystal was not ok with it so she had a better plan grabbing a guard uniform and having Mirajane use her transformation to look like one and hiding the Exceeds in the Uniform as she presents the three Dragon Slayers to some guards.
After some time looking around they were able to find Lucy and Yukino together, with Natsu's heat and Crystal's ice breath and blades they easily remove the bars to help them out and giving Lucy her regular outfit back when suddenly the floor opened sending the group falling down into the Abyss Palace explained by Hisui E. Fiore the Princess. Saying it is a place for criminals and they will not escape and will fall to death! Now in a tricky situation as they couldn't figure where to go as it is a giant maze.
Meanwhile watching the battle Sakore notices Gray walking into the Library finding Rufus as Mavis explains the Sabertooth member has the easy trick of knowing where everyone is at all times which means he has to be taken out first for victory for Fairy Tail. The 1 on 1 battle starts although Gray was having trouble since Rufus' Memory Maker Magic is on a different level compared to Ice Maker Magic, but he wasn't going down easily! With a hard struggle Gray knocks out Sabertooth's Rufus leaving 4 of their members left!
Back with the Rescue Team, Natsu had fallen down since he hadn't had a bite to eat. They chat for a bit as Yukino thanks Natsu for standing up for her after he went and attacked the members of Sabertooth, although due to how Natsu easily forgets the smallest things. She also explains she has nowhere to go because her family is gone and her sister was taken away and unsure if she is around. Suddenly the area starts to shake a bit and the Dragon Slayers get a sudden scent which the Exceeds went and found a tight passage but barely squeezable to get through, mostly tricky for the 'Well developed' ladies when Wendy notices someone laying on the ground and it was Arcadios. He started waking up and saw the group. "Run away." Suddenly a large figure tried attacking the group which they quickly dodge and noticed the attack produced acid nearly getting them! They got attacked by another person and then three more figures appeared. "Get out of here you're in danger. They are an independent squad who serve the Fiore Kingdom from the Shadows, ruthless, bloodthirsty, executioners. Hungry Wolf Knights." He explains weakly seeing 3 males and 2 females of the group. "They're executioners?" Natsu questioned. "The powers they displayed were surprising." Crystal mentions. "Trust me, they are very good at their job. If the rumors are true then we're facing some relentless hunters" Yukino mentions as she had heard about them. "A group of loyal Execution machines, The Hungry Wolf Knights." "They're the reason it's impossible to leave this accursed place. Alive anyway." Arcadios mentioned.
"By the authorities granted by the Kingdom of Fiore, we the Hungry Wolf Knights will now carry out your sentence." The man in the center who looks to be the leader with a metal mask covering his lower face. "One thing for certain, It's gonna come down to a brawl! We'll beat you and take our ticket out of this dump!" Crystal announced as she, Natsu, Wendy, and Mirajane get ready to face their opponents while Lucy and Yukino take Arcadios since they didn't have their keys. The ladies step forward who are known as Cosmos and Kamika, Kamika uses a special type of magic called Paper Blizzard which depending on the color of them is a base element which made it difficult when Natsu enhanced her Red type being fire based. Wendy helps by using her roar to blow the paper apart. Crystal joins up as the trio of Dragon Slayers charge forth throwing attacks at them, also they find out Cosmos is a Plant Magic user, the trio go for a triple Dragon Roar but it was blocked by a large bulb covered with Red and White paper. But the trio get tangled up by the plants, but with Natsu's Roar and both Crystal and Wendy's Wing attack they get out of the situation. The three Dragon Slayers continued to fight the ladies of the group and they were well coordinated. Though the other members interrupted and Wendy gets caught in a flytrap about to be digested by the large flower!
Luckily Mira transforms with her Satan Soul and destroys the plant rescuing Wendy. Though Kamika uses a purple type of paper that paralyzes as Cosmos has a plant grow and to suck them up, luckily with Wendy's Raise spell she removes the paralyze on them! "Now here goes! Ice Dragon's Roar!" Crystal blows a twister into the large hole of the plant causing it to freeze up! "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu launches a giant ball of fire which destroys it as well as causing a giant explosion in which after the sudden shaking they all get separated.
Through the separation Wendy was walking on her own for a bit until Crystal punches out of the ground in front of her which scared her until she saw Crystal's face pop out of the ground and quickly pulled her out. "You scared me for a second there!" She said to the Ice Wizard. "Sorry Wendy. I was trying to get out of the rubble of Natsu's last attack." She explained then she turned to see they are encountered by Cosmos the plant mage of the Hungry Wolf Knights. They dodge incoming vines and watch carefully. "I am Cosmos. How about the two of you beauties? Will you tell me your names?" She asks the two. "I'm Wendy Marvell." "And I'm Crystal." They answered. "What lovely names, I will remember them fondly. But like I said you both still must die, such is your fate." "Not gonna happen! We're Fairy Tail Wizards, and when you underestimate us that is your downfall! Neither us or our friends will fall!" Crystal retorted as Cosmos laughed! "I'm a Hungry Wolf which means I'll fulfill my duty to the kingdom. And you and your friends will die!" She makes large trees grow around them which grow fruit which Wendy looked frightened and Cosmos has the fruit fly at the duo which they dodge while Wendy runs away scared. She thought they were Pickled Plums as she wasn't fond of sour things though Cosmos said her special fruit is 10 times more sour which Wendy freaked out as is force fed the sour fruit and Cosmos produces plants that produce a scent for sleep while Crystal covered her mouth and nose Cosmos' has a large flytrap capture her! "I'd never thought I'd go down like this! Especially in a large flytrap about to get digested by it!" She thought to herself.
She then starts to see a scene of a snowy land with a large mountain with a cave entrance and near there is Glacies the ice dragon looking at the Young Crystal who is practicing her Ice Dragon Slayer Magic as she tried doing a Roar but all she let out was a blow of cold wind. "Ah. I can't do it. This is tricky to do." Young Crystal replied disappointed with what she produced. "If you want to unleash a True Roar then you must do it like you mean it!" Glacies told her as the dragon prepared herself. "Ice Dragon's Roar!" The Dragon unleashes a large twister of cold wind with ice shards at the snowy forest freezing part of it! "Uh I thought it was bad to do that." Young Crystal mentioned. "Yes I've said that before, but if you were to hold yourself back if things were getting tight then you should go all out! Remember, you are the one who can change the world tied to this Snowy Kingdom and the Land of Fiore! You are Crystal (censored) the one who will learn the Magic of Ice Dragon Slayer!" The Dragon shouted as the Young Girl smiled and nodded.
"That's right. I can't hold myself back if all my friends are in danger! I'm a Fairy Tail Wizard! And as they always say in our Guild." She thought to herself as she formed a blade of ice over her arm and sliced the flytrap giving her an opening and letting out a cold air emitting out of her body which Cosmos looked surprised as Wendy used Re-Raise to prevent the sleep aroma around them. Wendy uses her wind to blow the aroma out as Crystal looked serious towards their opponent. "As a Fairy Tail Wizard, we will never back down against any opponent and give it our all!" Cosmos has her plants grow and launch towards them. "Ice Dragon's Crystal Blades!" Crystal forms blades of ice over her arms and slices the plants surprising the opponent and angering her. "Not finished yet!" She says, as Wendy unleashes her Sky Drill Advanced attack, trapping them. "Ice Dragon's Talon!" Crystal then kicks Cosmos into the wind which blasts her and at the same time all 5 members smash into each other by the rest of the Fairy Tail Guild! Natsu then forces the Leader Kama to say where the exit of the maze is at since his team is down for the count.
For some time the group have been walking for some time until they reach a large door which looked tough to open and Natsu was gonna smash it open until it started opening from the outside and from the doorway stood a person in a dark clock they wondered who it was until Natsu got their scent and when they removed their hood they were surprised and in disbelief what they were seeing! The person's face was none other than Lucy who was crying. "Please help. The whole kingdom is doomed." She said while others were still in disbelief if she is Lucy or someone else. "Hey tell us. Are you really Lucy or what? You do know as a Dragon Slayer your scent is similar to the one next to me!" Crystal explains to her. "I know that you've heard of Eclipse by now. I was able to use its powers to meet with you Today." She Said surprising the group. "Hang on, you used Eclipse? Does that mean you come from a different time?" Frost asks her. "Yes, from the Future." This was a great shock to hear this. "What's going on?! Why'd you decide to come back to our time?!" Lucy asks her future self. "I came to warn you. This Kingdom is doomed." She said but fell which Crystal quickly caught as she fainted. The group continues through the maze to find the actual end of the place. It took a while but they were able to reach what looks to be the dining hall of the Castle where Future Lucy started regaining consciousness. She explains how in her time swarms of Dragons appeared though their group was locked away so they didn't know what happened and everything was brought to destruction. She used Eclipse and arrived on the 4th, which was only a few days ago. "How is it possible that swarms of Dragons will appear and cause destruction upon the land?" Crystal muttered quietly.
Future Lucy apologized wanting to get to you sooner but she was at a loss to try and warn them of the events. "Chin up. There's no need for you to apologize." Natsu said as he kneels in front of her and places a hand on her head and lays his forehead against hers as she starts crying. "I'd like to thank you. You risked your life for us, for our future." Crystal kneels to her side and wraps an arm around her. "You're part of our Fairy Tail Family, and we'll find a way to prevent that disaster from happening." Future Lucy leads the group into a hallway where suddenly they encounter a large number of soldiers which they fight back. However what was surprising is the Executioners came back not gonna let them go which was gonna be a pain.
Meanwhile back in the games Juvia encounters Sherria, Gajeel encountering Rogue, Ezra quickly blocked an attack from Kagura as Minerva appeared out of nowhere, while Laxus encounters Orga and a little later Jura arrives at the scene. The three ladies fought through Minerva showed she captured Milliana and left forcing both Erza and Kagura to fight, Erza found out that Kagura is Simon's sister and she would avenge him after learning from Milliana that Jellal had killed him. "I remember Crystal telling me about the events with Jellal and the Tower of Heaven. And that was when she first achieved Dragon Force against that man and defeated him alongside Natsu." Sakore thought to himself as Erza explained it was her fault she let Simon die and Kagura was in anguish and angered as she finally drew out her blade clashing with Erza as the two battled it out Erza officially won, however she knocked Kagura out of the way from falling rubble and talked about how she saved her in the town called Rosemary. Kagura was about to surrender to Erza, but Minerva took Kagura's blade and stabbed her in the side, shocking them and everyone from this sudden sadistic move! Not only that she made Milliana appear and Erza felt blood from her friend's back and saw the scratches under her cape. "Oh that's not good." Sakore muttered seeing from the Lacrima as Erza looked horrifyingly aggravated at Minerva.
From the clash with Gajeel and Rogue, the Shadow Dragon Slayer was unable to combat the person he looked up to, then suddenly something or someone started possessing him and turned the battle around. "That isn't a normal shadow being. It's someone that almost seemed impossible." A voice in Sakore's mind spoke as he had a sweat dropped expression seeing the fight happening. Rogue had the upper hand against Gajeel, however Gajeel did a trick that no one would expect. He started consuming the emitting shadows flowing which surprised Rogue as Gajeel unleashed his new Iron Shadow Dragon Form! This time Gajeel was the one turning things around and he defeated Rogue with ease!
With Juvia and Sherria, both Gray and Lyon group with their teammates and make this a 2 on 2 battle. But with Laxus, Jura, and Orga it looked to be a 3 way fight until Jura slammed Orga knocking him out which left only Jura and Laxus in a one on one fight! The two trade blows in a strong, heavy battle! Laxus unleashes a Roaring Thunder on Jura knocking him out. Gray and Juvia combine their magic by taking out Lyon and Sherria! Erza unleashing her Second Origin unleashing a new set of armor and with her power she knocks down Minerva!
There was only 1 opponent left and that was Sting of Sabertooth, the scores were Fairy Tail with 63 and Sabertooth at 55. If Sting is able to beat all of them it is a close cut win for Sabertooth. He sends a magic firework showing his location which all 5 members of Fairy Tail slowly walk to where he is and come face to face as they all stand proud. Sting prepares himself to face all 5 of them however as he stared at their expressions he started becoming hesitant and frightened, but he falls to his knees admitting defeat by surrendering giving Fairy Tail the Victory of this year's Grand Magic Games! He claims he was doing this for Lector though some stuff had happened, then Milliana came over holding a sleeping Lector who awoke and ran over to Sting which the two were happy to see each other.
Back with the group in the castle they were still battling the Kingdom's soldiers as well as the Executioners when all of a sudden some large shadow grabbed the soldiers and the Hungry Wolf Knights making them vanish without a trace which surprised the group and from the black shadow they see a figure of someone which they see coming closer.
"Shadows can reach beyond the present to both the past and future, and into the hearts of men. It seems we meet again, Natsu Dragneel. I've traveled quite a aways from the distant future. I am Rogue." He says to them who has a different appearance compared to his Present Self. His hair is now much longer than before, being tied in a high ponytail that reaches midway down his back. Additionally, rather than being completely black, his hair is now black on the right, and a much lighter color on the left. However, Future Rogue still retains his signature bangs, which are brushed over to the right side of his face, obscuring the majority of it from view. Future Rogue's face, however, has received the most notable changes; his right eye is now missing, being instead replaced by a long, jagged scar that extends over the bridge of his nose, and a sharp, curved tattoo around his left eye. His eye is relatively unchanged, being dark around the outside with a snake-like pupil. He wears a long, light, high-collared version of a ferraiolo. However, the part of the ferraiolo that drapes over his shoulders is very dark, and the edges of the ferraiolo are adorned with a tiger-print pattern. Across the ferraiolo, there is a strap, which is fastened to Future Rogue's body via a button on either side of his chest. Underneath the ferraiolo, Future Rogue wears a light-colored, long sleeved shirt, wherein the cuffs are rolled up. Over his long-sleeved shirt, Future Rogue wears a dark, Y-shaped vest, which has three circles printed on front, that he keeps tucked into his belt. However, the vest splits into four long pieces of cloth (reminiscent of his original attire) that, as they are a part of the vest, are also decorated with circles; each piece of cloth has four circles. Future Rogue wears a pair of light trousers under the loose pieces of cloth and, to complete his attire, strapped boots.
"You took away all the soldiers, but left us. You look a lot different compared to the one we know. But my question is why are you here?" Crystal asked the man. "All I want. Is to use the Eclipse." He answered. "What's that gonna do?" Lucy questioned him. "It can save us all. If we tap into its hidden power. As you know it can be used for time travel. But it can also serve as an offensive weapon known as the Eclipse Cannon. That is the only chance you have of defeating the 10 thousand dragons." He explains to them. But for some reason Crystal was getting an eerie feeling about what he was telling them. "Well that sure makes things nice and simple. Glad we got you on our side." Natsu said. "Does that mean everything's gonna be ok?" Wendy asks with hope. "Afraid not. You see I've come from 7 years in the future. A time, where the world as you know it will cease to exist. The Dragons will have destroyed everything and rule over the ashes." Rogue explains. "They're gonna take over?" Natsu asked as Future Lucy looked discouraged having to know what happened. "What happened to the people who survived the attack?" Wendy asked. "In my time not even 10 percent of the human race remains. Furthermore, our Eclipse has about a fraction of the power on what yours can wield. Which means this is humanity's last chance. We either stop them now or die." Rogue explains to the group. "7 years in my past, something happened. Someone prevented Eclipse 2 from activating." He mentions which Crystal then felt something off suddenly. "But how come? Why would they do that?" Lucy asked. "Because of that one person's actions the gate remains shut. And humanity is left defenseless against 10 thousand raging dragons. This person let 90 percent of humanity die. So I've come back to save those lives by eradicating theirs." He explains. "You must be crazy. You should explain the situation before using violence as the only suggestion!" Frost argued against his plan. "A person's destiny is as follows. Even if I did persuade them somehow. They would still end up stopping Eclipse, fate has stolen that choice from them. Their future is set in stone." He continued. "They don't have a choice?" Lucy questioned while Crystal became even more suspicious from the sudden eerie chill. "None of us were stronger than fate, the living remain, and the dead are gone. The one who closed the gate before will always do the same. As long as they're alive it's bound to happen again."
"I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Spill it, whose this person you're after anyway?" Natsu questions him which they waited for a moment until. "IT'S YOU! LUCY HEARTFILLIA!" He tosses a blade of shadow towards Present Lucy which Natsu and Crystal tried stopping it but the attack was too fast for them it was nearing her until the Future Lucy jumped taking the attack instead! "No…" Crystal muttered then it started to click to her while the attack on Future Lucy was very fatal as she talked about how she got to be with her friends one last time. "I just wish… I could go… a few more adventures… Please… protect the future…" She said as her last words. "How could she have forgotten she closed the gate?!" Rogue questioned as Present Lucy was about to argue. "I've got a better damn question!" Crystal spoke up, turning to Rogue in anger, rage and tears in her eyes. "You claim Lucy will close the gate to stop the invasion of dragons. I know for a damn fact she wouldn't stop something like that from happening! What really bugs me is something else! Dragons had been long dead for over 400 years ago. Yet you claim there will be 10 thousand of them invading the kingdom and yet you attack Lucy to prevent the gate being shut. Or perhaps… Are you preventing the gate from being closed because that's exactly where the dragons are coming from?!" Crystal accused him while the others were surprised while Future Rogue looked angered. "Eclipse doesn't have a defensive system at all! It's a hoax to fool everyone while it only travels through time!" Rogue starts casting shadow magic. "You should shut your damn mouth! You'll share her fate!" "I'm gonna turn fate into ashes!" Natsu retorted, countering him in anger. "I won't let anyone steal Lucy's Future! Not while I'm alive! I will, I promise!" "Lucy! Wendy! Go quickly and warn the Princess the Dragons will come through the Gate! Stop it at all costs!" Crystal shouted in enragement! They acknowledge that as Future Rogue tries chasing them but gets punched by Natsu and kicked by Crystal!
"You bastard! You'll pay for killing Future Lucy! You've angered the two of us!" Crystal shouted as he moved around casting shadow at the two. Though they weren't going down that easily! The trio clash blows as Future Rogue moves with his shadows and attacks wildly! Suddenly they felt a slight shaking while in the halls. "What's that sound?" Natsu questioned while Crystal looked in fear. "No! It can't be!" She said in fear! "The Eclipse is finally opening! Even without killing Lucy Heartfillia! Time moves forward!" Future Rogue claims as Natsu blocks and Crystal moves around for a punch which is blocked by him! "You are a sick and twisted man! You are gonna pay for screwing with everyone!" Crystal shouted! "Move Aside!" Future Rogue blasts more Shadow magic at the duo sending them flying while Natsu unleashes his Lightning Flame Dragon Mode landing a strong blow when suddenly "Change mode, White Shadow Dragon!" He then unleashes White Shadow Dragon Silk firing thin lines of White and Shadow causing heavy strikes upon the duo! Natsu questioned how he got that power as Rogue claims he took Sting's powers after killing him. He prepares to attack again but gets interrupted by Ultear stopping him but he escapes. Natsu and Crystal fall from taking so many hits.
Outside the gardens from the Eclipse gate a large dragon comes through and stomps its incredible power! As Crystal predicted, dragons were coming through the gate itself! Lucy ran to the controller as a few more dragons came through as she finally understood as the Door was created with Celestial Magic and from the Books of Zeref to travel through time and the color of the Red moon is the cause of it!
Natsu and Crystal woke up and felt the rumbling of Dragons stomping and quickly! Yukino quickly arrived and combined her power with Lucy's to force the gate shut before another dragon could get through! However even after closing it about only 8 Dragons came through Future Rogue who was the person that lied to the Princess has the power to control them with Dragon Tamer Power and he rides onto one as he leaves Zirconis for the group at the castle! Two Dragons calling themselves Atlas Flame who look to be a dragon made entirely of fire and Cyril Frost being a white dragon with ice crystals growing on his back, the two attack the Fairy Tail group at the center!
Natsu and Crystal got onto a tower seeing Future Rogue riding on one of the 8 Dragons which seem to be the largest out of them. He has the dragon turn charging at them and the two leap towards him for Round 2! Future Rogue uses his shadow power to maneuver around behind which they both unleash Roar attacks pushing him back. "Do you both really believe those poultry ice and flames of yours could ever stop me?" He asked the duo as they gritted their teeth. "All those battles have taken their toll, you have almost completely exhausted your resources. Start struggling all you like, you have no chance of victory!" "There's no way in hell we're gonna give up without a fight!" Natsu declares, until the dragon they are on turns causing the two to fall which they land on a building and jump right back onto it. But it continued shaking them off while the other dragons caused destruction. Future Rogue's planned to have Dragons to destroy Acnologia, but Natsu calls his plan a bunch of bull as he smashes his fist onto the Dragon. "Can you hear me?! Let's quit playing around and use our Dragon Slayer Magic!" He shouts loudly. "There are 8 Dragons! And We've got 8 Dragon Slayers! We can do this!" Crystal shouted! "It's what we were born for! Our whole lives are led to this day! Let's use our powers and slay some freaking dragons!" "Who's with us?! Cause we're going dragon hunting!" They both finish as they slam powerful attacks on the Dragon Motherglare! "8 Dragon Slayers?! I'm afraid you're short by one!" Future Rogue retorted while Natsu and Crystal grinned. "I can hear the last one coming!" Natsu said as the Council member Doranbolt had swiftly brought Cobra to assist on the situation.
Both Natsu and Crystal prepare to continue their clash with Future Rogue but he commands Motherglare to do something and from below it looked like the dragon let out a bunch of eggs which quickly hatch into miniature dragons to face everyone else. "As long as everyone is working together. There ain't a fight we can't win!" Crystal declared. "Don't be so sure. You people have yet to see the true terror of the dragons!" He retorted! They continue fighting Future Rogue but he had more experience than they did. Then suddenly Lucy, who was tossed by Zirconis, smashes into both Natsu and Crystal as they fall to the ground into a bell that lays on the ground of the recent destruction. "Hey Lucy! This isn't the time to be seducing a guy in your condition!" Crystal shouted as she saw her completely naked. "Shut up!" She retorted back as the bell fell down for them. Once they get out Crystal gives up her trench coat for Lucy. "That Rogue said he was from 7 years in the future. So he gained even more experience in combat. Plus he has the power to force Dragons to do his bidding." Crystal says as the fighting for the future continues everywhere in Crocus. Then she notices the Dragons Atlas Flame and Cyril Frost in the distance and showing sparks of Lightning most likely due to Laxus fighting them. She then had an idea cross her mind. "If you've got an appetite, time to dig in! Natsu! Time for a big meal for us!" She points to the two dragons in the distance which he smirks realizing what she is thinking. Luckily Happy and Frost were trying to catch Lucy before so the two Exceeds carry their Dragon Slayers towards the two dragons in the distance!
As the Thunder Legion attacks the two Dragons which were difficult to go against, however Natsu is dropped onto Atlas Flame as Crystal lands on Cyril Frost! "An Ice Dragon! My kind of treat!" She said with excitement! "What in the?! Who are you, you pest?!" Cyril demanded. "My name is Crystal! And I'm taking a meal off your ice crystals!" She bites into the large crystal on the Dragon's Back while Natsu starts consuming the fire off of Atlas Flame! The Two dragons fly to try shaking the Dragon Slayers off. "Hey what in the hell are you both doing?!" Laxus demanded. "We're gonna power ourselves up, that's what!" Crystal replied. "Laxus! You and your team should assist Wendy! She could use it!" Laxus stared at the two while his Thunder Legion group agreed on her suggestion and decided to leave it to her and Natsu dealing with Dragons of their attribute. The Two dragons continue to shake the Dragon Slayers off but it was futile. "How is this possible? It's ridiculous, And yet why does this human remind me so much of… Her!" Cyril thought as the visual of the Dragon Glacies comes into his mind! "The Ice Dragon Glacies!" Crystal takes a bite off one of the crystals chomping it. "Young lady." He gets her attention. "You have some connection to Glacies, do you not?" He asks her. "Wait! So you know Glacies?!" Crystal asks, surprised! "Not only is she the strongest Ice Dragon. But she is also my dear Sister!" He answered her and Crystal looked excited. "Really! Actually I know her very well also! She's the one who raised me like my mother!" She answered him!
"We got no use for your crappy light!" Natsu declares towards Future Rogue who claimed to rule as the Dragon King. He turned in annoyance to where Natsu was coming from, however what surprises him is both Natsu and Crystal riding the Dragons they jumped on towards their foe! "Because we got our own shine right out of our hearts! And I guarantee it's a million times brighter than whatever you've got!" "How can they be riding on top of Dragons?! Atlas Flame, Cyril Frost, why have you betrayed me?!" He questions the Dragons! "I merely listened to my Heart!" Atlas answered. "This boy is the son of Igneel, my dear friend!" He retorted as Natsu grinned in excitement! "The same goes for me! This girl is the daughter of my dear sister Glacies!" Cyril answered. "Appreciate the help! Let's do this Uncle!" Crystal declared as Cyril was a bit taken back by this though technically she was raised by his sister! "That's impossible! Both should be under my control! What have you both done?!" Future Rogue demanded. "Your magic that clouded our minds is gone!" Atlas answered. "More simply, the two of us grew a friendship between them!" Crystal answered as both Atlas and Cyril now fought against Motherglare who let out a blast, and in the end destroyed an entire mountain which surprised the two Dragon Slayers. But it wasn't gonna stop Natsu and Crystal now that the two were powered up with the help of Atlas and Cyril their strength has reached back to peak! They leap and land powerful blows combined together! They continue to clash against Future Rogue!
Down below Sakore unleashes his full might taking off his bands and blasts fire at the miniature dragons as well as using spikes of earth and lightning! "Damn these guys can never seem to stop!" He says as he notices the numbers. "Yet you still won't unleash the other power?" A voice spoke in his mind. "No! I won't be using that! But I still got this other power at my disposal!" He closed his left eye for a moment and once he opened it his left eye changed from a blue to a silver color. "The Inheritance of my family! Now die monsters! Lightning Havoc!" Sakore conjures an enormous amount of lightning onto the army of miniature dragons which electrocuted many of them as few come closer. He gritted his teeth seeing the amount still around until some got blasted away before they could get close to him. "My my, to think you'd be in such a pickle right now. Though I can't blame you for this situation." A male voice spoke as Sakore saw the person in which he looked surprised. "Cous! You're here?!" Sakore asks him, surprised. "Why wouldn't I be, if I wanted to see your Guild reach the top of the Games in Person?" He answered as he turned to their opponents surrounding them and he took off the shades revealing bright silver eyes. "Now then how about we show the strength of the Asteer Family line Cous?" He asks Sakore who smirks. "I'm right with you, Hiro! Flame Burst!" Sakore launches a ball of Fire. "Spatial Wave!" As his cousin Hiro Asteer conjures his magic at his fingertips and does a horizontal slash slicing one of them and the blast destroying it! "As you should know, Dragon's Scales are very durable. The Dragon Slayers are the only ones who can take down the bigger ones, we can barely make a dent." Hiro mentions as the two continue defending against the small enemies!
Everyone continued the heaviest battle of multiple Guilds against the army of the dragon spawn, some people got fatally wounded by the attacks as they were defenseless or saved another in the process. Natsu and Crystal are also struggling against Future Rogue, it seemed like it would become impossible for survival against this destruction. However Ultear in a remote place casts a powerful magic called Last Ages which can revert time back but at the cost of the user's own time for it! She continues through the spell as her body starts aching in pain reverting time backwards creating a pillar of light spreading everywhere! After a bit she slowly turned her weakened body to a clock and looked to see she only pushed it back a minute which she felt was a failure as she fell to the ground weakened.
However that one minute was enough as some of those that got fatally wounded before had escaped their fatal fates! Back with the Asteer cousins they stand back to back again after their attacks. "What the heck just happened? It felt like I saw that happen before?" Sakore asked while his cousin Hiro had a serious expression. "Time magic was used." He answered. "Not only that but someone used a spell to rewind time. However it wasn't much. They were able to push back 1 minute for us. Do not let the person who gave everyone this second wind down! Unleash your strength!" He explains after observing a nearby clock before! "Got it! Multi Element! Volcanic Eruption!" Sakore combines his fire and earth magic and obliterates the dragon spawn. "Spatial technique; Spatial Pulse!" Hiro blasts the others away from them.
Natsu and Crystal punch Future Rogue who was wondering how time was rewound. "We're gonna keep our promise to Lucy from the Future!" The duo say as they charge at their opponent while Atlas and Cyril deal with Motherglare! Both Natsu and Crystal land blows against him while Future Rogue uses his shadow power striking as claims he will destroy Acnologia. He asks what happened to Rogue's Exceed Frosh which Future Rogue claims Frosh dies a year later. But Natsu and Crystal weren't gonna allow him to change their future and will keep fighting to live on! Atlas empowers Natsu with his flames as Cyril gives his power to Crystal the two tackle Future Rogue and falling down like a mix fire and ice shooting star towards their friends near the Eclipse Gate! On impact they crash into the Gate completely obliterating it to pieces! "Natsu and Crystal destroyed the Gate!" Frost exclaimed seeing what had happened and they had completely knocked out Future Rogue winning the fight! Once the gate was destroyed the dragons started glowing showing they were gonna be forced back to the past. Cyril slowly lands next to Crystal showing he was also being brought back to the past. "Young Crystal. With the Eclipse Gate destroyed I'm being forced back to my own time along with the other Dragons that came through." He explains to her. "I'm honestly sad we just met. But I'm happy that you helped us fight for a brighter future." Crystal acknowledged. "As am I. I am glad to know that the girl raised by my Sister is living." He answered. "Before I am forced to return to my time, there was one thing she asked me to do. If I were to meet a girl with sky colored hair I would mention a specific word to her." "Sky colored hair? That must mean me! What did she tell you?" Crystal asks him. "Polaris. That word is the name of the Snowy Kingdom of the Northern Region." He tells her. "She told me that it is one of the two keywords to unlock the final doorway to your true potential. That is all she told me, I believe the final key is withheld by another person still out there." Crystal looked surprised as the name Polaris returned to her as she was born from that land! "So the Ice Kingdom of Polaris is my homeland." She said as Cyril slowly glows brighter. "I will never forget you, Crystal." He says as the last words before vanishing in a flash of light. "Thank you for everything. I couldn't have done it without you." Crystal says with a sigh of relief. Even the spawn vanished everywhere where the future was secured. Natsu was by Future Rogue as he was also vanishing and he told Natsu something that surprised him.
"Is it over?" Sakore asks, seeing the spawn vanishing. "It is possible. I also believe somehow they destroyed the Eclipse Gateway which prevents anyone from using it now." Hiro explains as he puts his shades back on and starts walking away. "Hey where are you going? Aren't you gonna stay?" He asks his cousin. "Nah. You should celebrate your victory with your Guild. I'm just a solo guy just helping out. I'm heading back to our hometown. I'm certain your mother would like to know the events that had just happened, especially with the sudden time rewind." He explains walking away and waves his hand before he uses his magic to teleport based on his Spatial Magic.
Several days after the events on July 7th everyone was given extreme rest after the grand struggle they went through. The King has also initiated a celebration with all the wizards after all the hard work and saving humanity. Everyone is clearly rested and they get dressed in dresses and suits. "Wow, the king can certainly plan a celebration." Crystal says in a sky blue dress standing next to Sakore in a Silver suit. "Well after saving the whole kingdom from rampaging dragons. You can't really blame him for this fancy celebration." He says seeing the people enjoying themselves. "Hey Krys, are you alright?" Frost asks her as he is in a small white suit. He sees her disappointed expression. "Yeah. It's just that, I wasn't strong enough to actually slay a dragon. I guess that just shows I've got more work to do. Although I won't back down, I can still get stronger until that day comes!" She claims with high spirit! "By the way you haven't seen Natsu have you?" Sakore asks which she looked around. "No, I'd already assumed he'd be making a ruckus about now." However when the King was coming out, Natsu came in wearing his garb surprising everyone in disbelief. "Of course I should have seen this coming." She said with a smile. The celebration continued onward as people paired up to dance, even though she felt embarrassed she embraced the invitation from Sakore. The Princess had apologized to her father and claimed she would take any punishment while Arcadios and Darton claimed they should take the blame for the actions of what happened. The King decided her punishment is to wear the mascot hat for a week and he talks in the voice like the mascot Mato which shows who was dressed up as the character. Not only that, Natsu, Lucy, and Happy joined in wearing the pumpkin hats with the Princess!
The group of 6 were getting ready to return to Magnolia as they were given a carriage ride from the Hungry Wolf Knights, mostly from the ladies. Natsu wasn't gonna enjoy the ride and thought of Wendy's Troia spell however she claims the events had exhausted her magic power so Natsu decided to tough it out anyway. However that wasn't the only case while on the carriage ride. "I think… I'm gonna be sick…" Crystal claimed covering her mouth with her hand. "My goodness Krys, you were never like this before. Why'd you suddenly start getting motion sick now?!" Frost asked in disbelief! And it was true, it seems just like Gajeel she has now developed motion sickness. "Now you… feel my pain…" Natsu says weakly. Meanwhile on the road Gray saw an elderly woman they passed by, Crystal carefully took a look to see the woman as she looked at them. Both of them realized who that woman was and what she had done for the people. "Thank you… for this second chance for all of us… Ultear." Crystal thought to herself as she slowly teared up despite her sudden motion sickness.
The most intense challenge we faced was not only of Fairy Tail, but across many other Magic Guilds faced with the greatest battle that we had never expected to happen. I certainly almost felt we were done for, but in a sudden turn of events a specific person did something to turn back time and give everyone a second chance! After all the struggle we went through of facing great opponents in the Grand Magic Games and battling against Sabertooth for Number 1, nothing compares to the challenges of facing actual dragons from 400 years in the past. It seemed like I was limited and unable to defeat a dragon with my power, but there is still hope as I've found from Cyril Frost the Dragon whose the brother to the one who raised me when I was young, Glacies. Apparently the last barrier can only unlock with 2 specific words, and "Polaris" the name of the Snow Kingdom is one to unlock my full potential. However, what scares me the most is what other horrors we may encounter in the near future. The coming of the Demons from the Book of Zeref, Tartaros!

Holy moly I can not believe what I did, I know some of you probably expected this to be 2 parts as I said last time. But I cut most stuff leaving important things in this part, and it may be my longest one as of now. For now there are a few more Arcs left until the finishing of this story. Now Fairy Tail will go head to head with the Cursed Eclipse Celestial Spirits as it is also an Anime Only Arc which is another for Crystal and friends to continue growing from! Hope you all enjoyed this long chapter and prepare for the next upcoming one!
