Location: somewhere in the middle east

my name is Tristan i am an soldier of the Untied stated marine's corps. War has broken out across the globe the third world war has started.

it all started with the war in ukriane back in 2021 abd tenstion kept increasing from there first it was minor conflicts between Israel and terrorits supported by iran then shortly after that china had tried to invade Taiwan. Shortly after Nato declared war.

They first started with russia dusting off old cold war plans if it had ever gone hot they where modified and put to use with modern equipment this resulted in huge battle across easter europe hundreds of thousands died in the first 6 months. It was a burtal fight. Luckily for the world early air strikes destroyed russian ability to launch nuclear weapons this resulted in a long drawn out conventional fight. The rest of the world followed as the middle east once again was at war between israel and iran then china and Taiwan. I was station on the middle easter front as i tell this story but that was not for long as i would be put to another plane of existence one where untold horrors would be discovered.

my platoon was deployed to the city of Tehran a city that once held 12 million people now it been destroyed by war. We where on a regualr patrol of the city when we where ambushed. We where nearing the city center when a buliding collapsed in front of us blocking us in then the gun fire started. Rounds hit the sides of our MRAPs our gunner retunred fire. We started to get out of our vehical to return fire i was the first one out of my vehical i fire into windows with my M4a1 when i saw a small wave of men charge at my patrol. It was a human suiside charge all of them wore bomb vests and they where planing to kill us at any cost i switch from semi to full auto and started to cut them down one by one in short bursts of fire.

i had gotten most of them but on go close. I charged at him with my knife out trying to close the distance to keep him as far back as i could i tackled him to the ruinned street of the city. Then everything went black he has succeeded in detonating his bomb but i was the only man that was killed. I had saved my men with my life i look around to try to find a way out but but there wasnt one i was gone.

then i was inveloped by a blinding light like i was looking into the face of god himself. Then he spoke.

(god) hello there my child

me. Are you god im i really dead.

( god ) unfortunately you are my child. But you died saving your fellow man so i have decided to reward you.

Do it get to go to heaven i asked still taking all of this in.

(god) no you will be recreated as you are in a new world. But its not a place of no threat. There are plenty of danger. Plus this is a world in a medevil era society along with magical creatures like the fariy tails told to children.

I look uo to him in awe, happiness and a small amount of fear. But why my lord why not send me to heaven.

God gives me a soft smile and says. Because my child your work of bringing order to a world is not yet done. But i wont leave you there defenseless you will be gift some power.

I look up in shock. W-what power do i get.

He said. I will gove you the power to summon any weapon until the modern day from sharp sticks to javelin anti tank missiles. Along with vehicals. Granted you cant summon battleships. It will be limited to 100 tons. Along with that if the vehical needs more then 1 man you can operatie it sith your mind like a video game you think id does. Along with your clothes any uniform with any equitment including your exo skeleton. Also i forgot to mention just reach by your side or over you sholder and ammo will apear

(god) its no problem my child also before i forget in this univers there names are almost directly connected to there work or race so get ready for weird names.

he smiles as a bright light over takes me. I reawake falling through the sky. I panic as i see the ground rapidly approaching to make a one with trh earth. I reach behind me and find a rip cord and pull a parachute deploys and slows me down.

i say to my self as i drift to the ground. " thanks god could have told me i was going to get here by falling out of the sky" i grumble the whole way down. I hit the ground and roll. I stand and look around it appears im in the middle of a forest outside a cave as i see 4 people approaching.

one looks like a fantasy priest wearing all white with a golden staff.
